Review North Drift - Ahipara

Great service, great atmosphere and the food was nice. I had the bacon and egg toastie and didn't like it as it was fried and not toasted. Just didn't taste the same. My husband had the North Drift breakfast which was awesome. Coffee was ok but had have a Xtra shot for a large.

Finished the ninety mile beach walk. This cafe was a welcome break. Excellent food. Great service. Now ready to do the next part of Te Araroa ! Thank you

Beautiful sunny terrace, good food and friendly staff. The restaurant is at walking distance to the beach. Each time, it was a good time, interesting and yummy menu for brunches and lunches depending of the time you are here and a range of hot and cold drinks.

Great community cafe, lovely vibe and super friendly staff. Had a veggie burger which was delicious! Great pattie, great toasted bread, excellent relish and chutney, heavenly halloumi and crunchy salad. Couldn't have been better. Sat outside under a big umbrella and soaked in the relaxed atmosphere. The desserts in the cabinet looked amazing too. Especially liked their reusable cups. And that they had ice for our drinks on a hot day. Thanks for a great lunch North Drift!

What a fabulous experience we had! The staff are welcoming and made us the most amazing lunch, accommodating our dietary requirements. It was delicious. There was no rush for us to finish up, even though we arrived a tad late. Highly recommend.

Excellent stop for hikers on the TA. Recommend the blueberry cream muffin and French Toast, friendly service, fresh food and good vibes all around!

Lovely staff-friendly& helpful.setting is lovely with seating in or out. Food great with good portion size. Coffee fab. Highly recommend. Placed right in front of Tuatua rentals so handy!Stopped in for meal after hiring quads from Tuatua rentals. Kindly made kids waffles after official breakfast time had finished (had.enough batter.left.to.do it) kids loved the waffles & i enjoyed my pesto bacon, avocado ciabatta. (Bit heavy on the pesto as was quite overpowering though still lovely meal!! - hence 4 star). 👌
