Review Thai Trading Rooms Asian Fusion & Seafood Restaurant - Akaroa

We had a very nice lunch here during our visit to Akaroa. The lunch menu was reasonably priced. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! We really appreciated that the kitchen was able to accommodate the dietary restrictions in our party (Gluten, Dairy, Soy). Friendly staff. Nice ambience.

Menu had a good variety to choose from. Staff very friendly. Lovely outdoor dining over looking the Harbour. Toilets could not with a revamp. I decided to have Sweet and Sour Pork. The lovely waitress asked if I had tried a Sweet and Sour Beef. This was something I wouldn't of thought about , so I said why not and ordered this dish. I found it very much to my liking. Certainly would order it again.

We had a positive experience at The Trading Room Experience. We found a seat without any reservations. We did not have to wait long for our orders to be taken. Our meals did not take long and they were delicious. They had outside seating which was nice. We had Thai food for lunch good portions except rice quantity was less. The restaurant was busy and most of the outside seating was occupied.

I ordered crispy salmon. It was yummy they have lot of seafood menu. I really enjoy and staff so friendly.

Yummy food and nice view in Akaroa. Worthy of price. Huge portions I will definitely come back for sure.

Stopped here for lunch while in Akaroa..it was fantastic. The food was exceptional and the service friendly and efficient. I had the Kiwi Burger, which was delicious. Others in our group had Pizzas, seafood chowder, Samosas and Cheesy garlic bread. It was an excellent meal in a fantastic location. Would recommend it to anyone. We'll certainly be going back. Msdeca fantastic day even better.

We had a nice meal, cashew chicken and a green currie was very tasty. Comfy seats and atmosphere was great.

We had a takeaway tonight and every dish we had including the pizzas for the children were absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and the lovely staff helped us bring the food to the car and we even got bottles of water. I was told the tofu was worth travelling for. Thank you guys we will be back. Fantastic.

We came for lunch and order the mussels, squid ink pasta, wedges with bacon cheese, and fish of the day. Love all the food, and love the attention to details for the food presentation. Some minor complaints may have been slightly rubbery overcooked mussels, and squid ink pasta that taste just ordinary (just regular pasta would do just fine). Price, fair for $127 for 4 people. Mainly just displeased with the food service, took a tad too longggggggggg to be served. Hope you guys can improve on that next time. Cheers.

Hands down the best place so far the sea food pizza was 10/10. Peanut sauce stir fry was 10/10. Couldn't fault anything and great size big feeds and good price.

After a long trip through the south island and zero expectations we are absolutely delighted to find this place! Beyond excellent food, great decor and very good selection of wines! If you are a discerning diner looking to visit an absolutely top notch eatery, i would highly recommend! Oysters done 3 ways amazing, lamb done medium amazing, vegetarian option was also ... Amazing! I would recommend booking however, last seating seems to be around 8:15pm!

Food beautiful, steak slightly overcooked but never the less the whole dish overall was delicious, very cold sitting up front by the Windows � service very slack � literally had to drag the waitress over to get another drink

Was there over long weekend. Amazing food, great service, nice ice cold stella on tap everything was top notch. Recommending this spot for sure. Will be back!

We were there 3 times. One time for dinner, we had the market fish and the lamb. Fish was very nice, lamb could be more tender. Another time we sat outside with a pram for some drinks, the waitress told us to order the drinks at the bar, which is on a higher level with some steps. But nobody was helpful with the pram so I needed to wait for my partner.

Wonderful food, asked for Angus Beef cooked blue and it was perfect. Only criticism ... we were not advised the black board specials, otherwise very good service

Not only is the food divine, but the presentation is beautiful. This is where you dine to celebrate important occasions!

5 ladies sat down ordered cocktails and about to spend and average of $100 each and the waitress came to us and said we didn't have a booking and had to leave. We requested they push some tables together and there was plenty of space and they said they couldn't . We left. So humiliating. For a small town, we would have expected them them to welcome $500 worth of business. So disappointing .

Great food and great staff.
