Review The Brasserie Kitchen Cafe Bar - Akaroa

This place is so beautiful! We sat outside in the beautiful garden surrounded my plants and ferna. I ordered an iced latte and my partner got an iced espresso. They were both really good and served in cute little whisky glasses. The service was also really great, our server was super helpful and polite! We didn’t try any of the food here this time but I’m excited to try some next time. I would definitely come here again even if it was just to sit in the garden. The atmosphere here is what really makes this place great it feels so relaxing and tranquil!

Amazing cafe with beautiful and spacious outdoor seating. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. They are dog friendly and also sell second hand items from clothes to tools. Nice place to hang out.

I’d have a hard time giving this anything less than 5 stars, the service was great and very sympathic, you have to be patient and the food is very good. Although you can't go wrong when it comes to food in Akaroa, The Brasserie delivers when it comes to atmosphere, food and service. First time being here for lunch and immediately fell in love.

We had bacon and eggs plus pancakes. Very nice all round, bacon was cooked to perfection and a generous portion .

Just had lunch and the food was great. We ordered the fish and chip and Smoked Salmon. Both extremely tasty. The staff were very friendly. Service was good. A must try when you are in Akaroa.

We had late lunch at The Brassiere. Outdoor seats in the garden. Waitress lady is very helpful and friendly. Their fish and chips are yummy. We had good experience. Please note that they do charge the credit card surcharge. Also be careful with your food as there are few birds in the garden and they can grab your food if you leave the food unattended.

Although you can't go wrong when it comes to food or shopping in Akaroa, The Brasserie delivers when it comes to atmosphere, food and service. First time being here for a breakfast and immediately fell in love. The seating, decorations, style, atmosphere and personality this place had is top notch. Definitely recommended and can't wait to go back for more!

What a cool and quirky little place! Absolutely loved our experience at The Brasserie Kitchen & Wine Bar. We had the Fish and Chips and Chicken Burger for lunch! Just simply fantastic!! Best Chicken Burger I’ve had! Definitely give this place a go!

Large cafe, very busy. Food was nice, baked beans were semi cold. When I went to pay the young girl was doing something on the till. Instead of saying, I'll be with you soon. She just ignored me standing there.

I’d have a hard time giving this anything less than 5 stars, the service was great and the food and coffee were simply exceptional. The breakfast foods are great, I got a big breakfast for $26, with the coffee it came to $32 and the quality was REALLY good.

We went here for lunch. It's good located! Nice restaurant, lovely garden decorated in every corner. They had friendly staff and fast service. I got great seafood soup for cold day.

Wonderful place, absolutely fabulous service from friendly staff. Our ukulele group were privileged to sit outside in the lovely outdoor dining area to sing and play. A 'must go to' for Akaroa. Thank you to the lovely staff who served us.

Wow! This place is a must see while visiting Akaroa! The staff are soo very nice and helpful! The garden, and whole place, is beautiful and filled with thrift-treasures! Also they have great coffe and also delicious beers and wine from NZ! 10/10 would recommend!

Great food. Probably the best battered fish I've ever eaten, didn't realise batter could be so well done! Props to the chef. Really chill atmosphere, guy running this show seemed like a ledgend, and theres a flea market out the back! All the food coming out of the kitchen looked great and I really loved the choice of beers on tap. Great place to relax. Service a little slow but eveyone was working hard, somone must have pulled a sickie!
