French Farm Winery Bistro - Akaroa - Photo album

Beautiful picturesque views. Clean and tidy facilities. Excellent warm and welcoming team. The fruit and nut pizza is a must have on your visit! This place is worth the trip or great for a wedding venue.
We had dinner and drinks, the pizzas were amazing, my favourite was the fruit and nut naan pizza (pictured). The service was brilliant, with a wide range of beers and wines. Surrounded by great views as we ate, what more could you ask for!
We called in for a drink. Ordered a lovely bottle of Prosecco to share. The owners were very knowledgeable about the wine. We were impressed with what that had done and what they have plans for the farm. We will be back.
Got here just as it opened on a Sunday in March and had a great experience. Delicious picnic style food and wine (flatbreads are quite large)! Live music was great and our 2 year old danced her shoes off. Looking forward to going again.
A group of us had a great time here after a day trip to Akaroa. We arrived reasonably late and were the only ones there, but were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady who opened up just for us to have some cheese, crackers and wine. She let us come into the kitchen and pick out what we wanted
Beautiful place, very relaxed atmosphere. Would be an amazing venue for a party or wedding etc, you have wonderful views over the bay and grounds. We tried the new menu item cheesy garlic bread which was so delicious. The staff there are friendly and welcoming and you can see a lot of love and inspi
Superb location. The new owner is so kind and full of plans and ambitions. I hope they will continue to bring this place back to life. They did a very good job so far. The outside bar already operational, offering local products and refreshment. Can't wait to see the progress.
Beautiful setting. Really was outstanding. We just had a cake and coffee so can't comment on the cheese, pate and cracker platters. The concept seems popular, choose all your own and sit down, unpack it and eat with a nice wine ☺.
We visited French Farm on a beautiful summers day. It’s a bar and deli, food available - but it’s a ‘build your own platter’ scenario. Novel, but a few too many decisions for me! I would have much preferred if they had platters available to order. Staff were lovely and accomodating.
The hosts were fantastic, and fun was had by all. The coffee yummy 😋 😍
Three of us arrived Friday morning just as they were opening up. Delightful courtyard for a delicious coffee with a view. Lovely new owners who we had a good chat with. We wish you well.
The new owners have worked hard to tidy the property. They offer a unique ' build your own platter box.' Crackers, cheeses, dried meats etc. to enjoy in the garden with a lovely glass of wine. The left overs are yours to take.
Great and friendly staff, amazing service and beautiful views
We absolutely loved our afternoon drinking wine and eating cheese and crackers in the sun here! The plum cake is amazing and the owners/ staff are so lovely. I highly recommend this place!
A perfect little getaway. A small drive from the Akaroa township, the French Farm Winery Accommodation and Bistro were fantastic. Amazing value for what you get, unmatched in the area. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Room was tidy with nice decor, we loved the extras and attention to det
Awesome service, beautiful location, lovely cake, tea and wine for those not driving! Make sure you turn RIGHT on the road, not left into the property before called French Peak Winery. French Farm Winery is the place you want to go!
We were staying down the road and stopped in for a dinner. We had no expectations going in, but the food turned out to be impressive! My salmon was wonderful and my husband's pizza some of the best I've had in NZ. Great selection of wines by the bottle or glass. Dont go if you are looking for fast f
