Great service. Pretty quick. Lovely staff. Food was good too. We had Big Breakfast and Eggs Benedict with Bacon.

Awesome coffee, great service and the menu has a good selection to choose from. I loved the exquisite mosaics inside the cafe too.

As usual. Excellent service and coffee. So good I go twice over the weekend. Their cooked breakfasts are beautiful and they are happy to accomodate different requests. Food presentation amazing even if just getting a muffin or cake.

An excellent place to get a wide range of top food. I have also got catering from here, which has been excellent. It's great how they let you use their big bowls when you pick up the catering, and you can return them the next day.

Love my morning coffee from this place. They have almond, soy, coconut or cows milk. Really cheap too as only $4.50 for a regular compared to $5 and upwards from other cafes in the area. Oh, and they have lovely fresh muffins on the counter which they are happy to warm up for you.

This is my fave morning coffee spot. It's not over crowded and has good prices. Coffee and muffin I think is $8. There's a little Italian chef outback and he does great flavours. The guy on the front counter seems to serve and get everyone's orders out in good time. Only suggestion is that some music could be nice in the main area as well as some heating for the colder mornings. Otherwise we love this place. Oh, from memory its buy 6 coffees get one free.

Such yummy good, love there iced coffee and iced caramel. We had the egg Benedict and pulled lamb burger, booked amazing and loved the home made hollandaise sauce. Will be coming back

Had a Wk Breakfast here a while ago, group of about 16. Service and hospitality was very good, excellent coffee. Plenty of parking. Nice setting. Would definately go back.

Always come here with family on the weekends. Food always good. Let down ordered taco with chicken and was served soft taco with fish. Didn't want to make a fuss so hubby ate it. Staff was always nice..

I had the corn eggs Benedict with mushrooms, other half had mince on toast (good old fashioned staple). Both enjoyed our food. Coffee ok, not quite to my taste, but still ok.

Ordered Egg Benedicts with Bacon and Omelette without sausage (no meat) for my colleague. Egg benedicts taste really good, the bacon is not dry. The portion is adequate for me. Saw another table ordered burger with chips, look really huge for me. Menu is slightly different. Will come back. This place is not hard to find, they have parking too. Mozaik o Douglas Alexander served great food in generous portions, the staff were friendly, and had nice and comfy atmosphere. Coffee could have been better, but no complaints. Great value.

The corn fritter is below average, we didn’t like it. I could taste a lot of flour. The beef salad is good but I got hungry very easily from it in the afternoon.

Friendly staffs with great tasting food and coffee. Would highly recommend their steak sandwich and prawn chicken salad. Definitely going to visit again for other dishes.<br/>

Found this cafe with Zomato Gold and it is highly recommended. Food and coffee is always fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff here are friendly, efficient and attentive.

Eggs benne was delicious and good portion. Corn eggs benne was the same. Kids loved their porridge and hot cakes. Good breakfast feed I’d recommend.

Overall it’s a very nice place to eat with friends. Nice food and nice staffs. Very definitely recommend my friends to be there, especially using the zomato gold membership card. Will visit again.

Great place! The corn fritter Benny with bacon was absolutely fantastic, coffee was also great, and the feel undercover beside the fire place in the rain was simply perfect.

We only stumbled on this place because it's a zomato gold partner, its quite hidden in rosedale but I'm glad we found it!<br/>We went for brunch and the food was really good with decent servings so you were full after.<br/>We also had the whittakers hot chocolate - which I highly recommend.<br/>The staff were really friendly and on to it as well and the place was really clean.

Always love coming here for brunch with my partner. This time I ordered the creamy mushroom dish and I would highly recommend it! The iced tea was super refreshing as well! All the food here is great and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly 😁😁😁😁

I ordered the eggs benny with salmon and my mate ordered the chicken and prawn salad with an iced chocolate 🍫 Wowee was I disappointed - the hollindase was ridiculously sweet and unecessarily smothered in vinegar, the eggs were undercooked and the bread was tiny and not even remotely an English muffin 🤨 The hash browns that came with it also seemed very unnecessary, and it was as if the hash browns were an attempt to cover up the lack of/poor amount of bread 🤷🏻‍♀️ the salmon was the only aspect of the dish that was actually okay, but that is something that’s readily bought 😬 my mate on the other hand did enjoy her dish so I’ll take that into account 😅 definitely won’t be going back though 😬

Got the potato rosti but was a bit disappointed as it was more like a omelette. i had told the server i didnt like the taste of eggs before i ordered checking it would be ok. Annoyed he didnt let me know. Partner has corn fritters and he liked them.

Friendly service, very easy to find and ample parking space, coffee is good, seafood risotto is delicious with lots of Seafood. Turkish bread on the big breakfast make it somehow distinctive

Went here for Sunday brunch. Service was quick and friendly. Food came out promptly. Large portions. Tasted incredible. Only downside is that when it gets busy it becomes very warm but it couldn’t have stopped me inhaling my food.

Great lunch spot, just started working in the area and will definitely be my regular. Only gave a 4 because of the small selection, would give 4.5 if that was an option.

We came here for lunch as Altura was over flowing. Very impressed with the attentive staff and nice food. Had the fish taco and chicken burger with some coffees.<br/>Cant really fault anything

Nothing negative to say about this place, have been a few times and one of the best eggs Benedict I've tried, so yum! Not stingy with the Bernadaise sauce either like some places. Food comes out pretty quick too

Beans straight from watties can, frozen mushroom, burnt bacon, frozen hash browns, tomato was a sloppy mess to top it off all served on an annoying pretentious oval plate. Would never go back or recommend.

We recently returned to the Mozaik in Albany. When we arrived the place very busy, particularly outside in the sun and in the conservatory. We sat inside and immediately noticed that the restaurant had had a complete decor make-over from our last visit - all very tasteful. <br/>We ordered the Anatolian breakfast (sujuk sausage, scrambled eggs, olives & feta, tomatoes, mesclun salad, red berry jam with toasted Turkish bread) and the Gourmet Mince on toast (from the specials menu) served with poached eggs and toasted Turkish bread. The Anatolian breakfast was fresh and tasty, and totally satisfying. The mince on toast was lovely, but could have done with more Turkish spices. The service throughout was attentive and very efficient.<br/>There was a wide range of great looking options in the cabinet, and we could not resist a slice of the bananarama cake, which we eagerly devoured for afternoon tea. We will definitely be back to sample more of the excellent food. <br/>

This cafe has a pleasant vibe, upbeat music in the background and comfortable seating. The service here was excellent and I really appreciated that the staff took my coffee order as I was preparing to sit down to peruse the breakfast menu. There are two Turkish options on the brunch menu and so I decided to start my day with the Istanbul omelette. The omelette was huge, but wasn't the spicy treat I was anticipating, though was as described. The sujuk, spicy sausage, was nice enough but the rest of the omelette was rather ordinary, for me it needed a little more pep. Did I say that it was huge...I couldn't finish, definitely a dish to share. The latte wasn't strong enough for my taste, I was a little disappointed as I would have lingered with a second coffee. <br/><br/>I was approached twice by staff to check that everything was fine, which is another welcome touch. The management have done an excellent job with customer service, now if they could perfect their coffee.<br/> <br/><br/>Update: Returned a few weeks later for another visit. Really liked the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado & tomato) on toasted pide. My latte was good. They made a custom ham & cheese toasted sandwich for my finicky daughter. Service again was friendly and helpful.

A decent cafe in relation to price, location, environment. Food and coffee is good but not amazing. Service is good. Overall above average but nothing spectacular.

Went here yesterday with my friend and it was very nice. We sat outside because it was a gorgeous day, and the staff came straight out and helped us. I ordered the salt and pepper squid and my friend had the BLAT. The food was good as well, big portions which was nice but I couldn't finish mine. Will definitely be back!

I come here every now and then for coffee and finally had lunch here the other day. I had eggs benedict and was easily able to customise it to my needs (no bread). This eggs bene was about as good as it gets. The eggs were cooked perfectly as was the bacon. There was just enough hollandaise sauce but I would have preferred a tiny bit more. The coffee was nice too. I have returned here for coffee quite a few times and I will be back to eat too. The staff were nice and helpful.

Cheap food = happy uni student. I love the big open space and how it's a cafeteria. You see yourself for $7.50 a bowl? Or something like that. I would rate their old Caesar salad a 5/5! I wish they still made it. I used to fill a box to the brim with their incredible Caesar salad (the best I've ever had). But I find myself disappointed now because they no longer serve it. My visits are less frequent now as the food looks less appetising than it used to.

Visited Mozaik for breakfast a couple of months ago by myself. Ordered porridge and a side dish. Food was good, nice atmosphere and decor. However the staff were very loud - laughing and talking extremely loud, singing happy birthday to one of the baristas at the till - the noise was echoing throughout the whole cafe, and I almost felt like I was intruding as there was only a couple of customers there at the time. I couldn't finish the porridge and the guy at the counter asked if it was because I didn't like it - I said no not the case at all, just way too full! As I was in my car about to drive off one of the staff members (older lady) ran up to my car and pounded on the window and gave me a hell of a fright. She then proceeded to stick her head through the window when I wound it down and question me why I hadn't finished my meal and if there was something wrong?! I felt very intimidated and thought she had really crossed the line by doing this. I probably wouldn't return because of this. It is one thing to ask for feedback from customers - but don't harass them!!

Went to Mozaik Cafe for my wife birthday. There was 4 adults and 2 kids. From the time we entered we felt welcomed. The atmosphere was calming so was the staff that work there. <br/>The gentleman came over to take or drink orders within a few minutes of sitting down. We ordered a couple of coffees and hot chocolate and table water. Within 5 min the drinks arrived. The coffee I had was the best I have ever had in New Zealand ( we are from Australia ).<br/>We ordered the food, it ranged from hotcakes to eggs and bacon. When the food arrived all I can say is wow. The servings where absolutely huge. The food was presented well on the plate. There was nothing but praise from the people on the table for the quality of the food.<br/>All in all the food the people and the cafe are brilliant. If I lived here I would visit on a regular basis. Very impressed with the modern decor and excellent service, plus selection of food. One of the nicest cafes in this area.

We called up Mozaik on new years eve with a booking for 12 people and they said it'd be absolutely no problem (we called at 9am on the day). We arrived and ordered coffees and lunch. Coffee was good and food was delicious. The only downside was one of the meals was 2-3 minutes behind the rest but nothing major. The service we received was outstanding and I would definitely recommend this place. The new renovations also look great.

Service was poor, food was not nice. We ordered eggs benedict with bacon, eggs were hard and instead of hash browns it is now served with soggy potato cakes. When asked how our meal was and we explained the issues there only response was "sorry" and then our complaints were loudly repeated to each other near the kitchen like it was a joke. No offers to fix the bad food or service, so won't be returning. The one in constellation drive is far better.

My wife and I had lunch there on Saturday. This is the second time we've been and so far haven't been disappointed. Prompt, friendly service with food and coffee to match.
