Review Muffin Break Albany - Albany

Havenโ€™t been here for awhile but stopped by to grab a coffee this morning and I can say it is one of the best coffees I have had in a while! Seems to be a hit and miss with the coffees judging by the reviews but today was definitely a hit. Thank you to the barista :)

I had to go to Albany mall for a appointment and right outside was Muffinbreak. Never been to this mall before. Lovely coffee, no burnt milk, lovely toasted sandwich. Most pleasant staff ever. Was so busy, trays were lined up, ready to be filled, so of course took a little while to get my coffee, but was so worth it, thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

I have been to Muffin break Albany before but the experience today was awful, to say the least. Never have I ever experienced this kind of service from them in the past. it wasn't a very busy day at the cafe and I clearly asked for a spinach feta quiche which means I did not order a meat quiche.
But the staff was ignorant and served me a meat one, thinking of it as a one-off mistake, I requested for a change but even after that they again served me the same quiche with meat inside.
I used to enjoy being at this place but that ends today :(

I've been to Muffin Break a few times and every time the food was average and very expensive (a panini costs $8.50). Recently I went there to get a panini, sausage roll & iced coffee which altogether cost $20.80 and definitely wasn't worth it. The panini just wasn't very nice & my iced coffee was literally just a double shot in cold water, which I couldn't drink because it was so strong & had no milk to dilute the strength of the coffee taste. After that experience I'll only be going there again if it's my only option.

Woman on the counter was incredibly rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. I ordered one iced coffee and she looked deeply offended that I had even walked up to the counter. The coffee itself was ok but maaaan the experience was so uncomfortable

I have not had the food here but I have had the coffee regularly. Weather I get a long black, flat white, or white chocolate mocha they are always spot on. The best coffee I have found in the area.
