Oh my goodness, don't go here if you like home made baking. You will have to try everything and your waist line will show! Simply wonderful. Very hard to find baking this good any more. The rest of the food is excellent too. Real hidden treasure and well worth a visit. My favorite equal cafe in Auckland right now!

Superb breakfast! I've had the potato benedict with mustard salmon and enjoyed every single bite. They put capers on it - yummy! Not the cosiest place but worth visiting. Very friendly and fast service. Btw coffee is great too

Open early during the week, have breakfast here occasionally. My husband is a regular, loves it. Great coffee and variety of food, always friendly to everyone. Have water for dogs, outside!

This must be the best place to enjoy a nice coffee in northshore. All staff are very kind, coffee has very nice flavour, beautiful harmony with warm silky milk.. I strongly recommand that whoever going this cafe must try a fabulouse FW and a cured salmon dish!!!!!

One of my favourite cafes on the shore. Definitely a hidden corner with excellent food whether it'd be a hot plate or baked goodies.

Service always warm, doesn't take too long for order to arrive and also very great coffee. Extra care in adding wholesome ingredients to their dishes. Win win

An absolute hidden gem in Albany. If you are after reasonably priced good quality food you should go this cafe and get satisfied. Nice ambience and good food... their choc brownie is amazing (crunchy upper and so gooey and moist inside) BUT their gluten free blueberry muffin is the BEST in Auckland...they are made with rice flour and topped up with almond slices and taste just devine. Excellent coffee every time.... will definitely recommend to my close friends and to anyone keen for good home baked goodies.

Really lovely cafe, I tried the avo smash and it was delicious and great value for money, the service is great the lady there is so lovely and she described everything and even showed us pictures to explain their salmon, I didn’t try the salmon but I loved my smashed avo. Been back a few times and always great! Random location and small inside, that’s the only down side.

Happened upon this place by chance but was pleasantly surprised! Delicious food at affordable prices, cute decor, and LOVELY staff. My favourites are the banana and peanut-butter smoothie, the wraps and the haloumi fritters! Soooo good! Would definitely recommend, we go there as often as we can 💕

Randomly ended up at Dorento after the gym on Saturday morning and it's the best cafe I have found for ages. We both had the potato benedict with house smoked salmon. A lot of care is obviously taken with the food and the decor is simple and very cute. Iced chocolate is probably also the best we've ever had! Great & efficient service. This will definitely become a local haunt for us. Thanks Dorento :)
