Review All Day Trader - Albany

BOTTEMLESS BRUNCH AT ALL DAY TRADER! It was the families first time experience of bottemless brunch at All day trader we were not sure how it works as never done one. (Will explain further on how it works) However the staff were amazingly helpful and kind. We loved the atmosphere and they were happy to check in on you to see if you needed a top up or anything else. The cesersalad I had chosen tasted fresh and the right amount of flavour. The drinks were just right and a good amount for day time drinking. (If you're drinking responsibly) The bathrooms were nice and clean. The lay out is beautiful and really sets the tone. I definitely suggest this place to anyone that is looking for a place to vibe and chill. HOW DOES IT WORK? I've noticed most places do their bottemless brunch different so this is how all day traders work. You are started on your jug then you get to chose one out of the 5 course menu that is set in front of you. If you are wanting more to eat or something else to drink it is paid separately but on top of your bottemless brunch charge. The jug top ups happen only when the jug is empty. You are able to decide to do straight after doing the mimosas. You then are offered a special if you wish to choose. I hope this helps for anyone deciding to do a bottemless brunch.

Lovely night here where we enjoyed a table outside with fabulous service from staff. Meal was average, nice flavours in the pulled pork but needed more sour cream or a salsa because we both found it quite dry. Great value for the portion though. Great cocktails though made by the fabulous bartender Riley.

This is the second time that me and my friends come to catch up here! Love the food and the vibe of how they are so friendly. The waiter is amazingly friendly and kind. I like that he always has a laugh with us. My favorite is fried . Yes , you read it is right. The portion is huge so please don't make mistake like us we when last time and ordered 2 bowls lol Love this and will return for more .

We went for dinner and it is a great experience! The food ~ everything is delicious! The parmigiana is so delectable and filling, the best I had. My husband enjoyed his scotch fillet. The staff is attentive to the orders and friendly. We will surely come back.

Where do I start!? Just amazing. Wasn't too busy for a Saturday which I was happy about! Went at 6pm. Group of 4. I got 2 mocktails, the blood orange and the raspberry ones are delicious! We had a few starters and sides. All fantastic! The salad I had was just so good, I'll be back just for that alone. The steaks were perfectly cooked to our liking and the lamb was full of flavor and so soft. The cheese cake was so good! The server was great as well!

Incredible food. Ever since trying their ricotta ravioli I've been thinking about it at least once a week. Their entire menu sounds amazing and their cocktails are super reasonably priced (and taste great). Fantastic service too. Can't fault a thing.

The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. Friendly efficient service. We got the Wed steak special, which was very reasonably priced. The meat was a bit tough but had plenty of flavour to make up for it. The cocktail/mocktails were delicious, too! The dessert was nicely presented. I'm not sure if was made here as it looked too perfect.

Had the beef pan nachos and Spicy coconut margarita cocktail, both delicious. Attentive service with a smile.

Not the first time we've been here and won't be the last. Doing a kids eat free on the weekends at the moment and they've never failed to deliver. Tried the lamb massaman shanks and it was divine! Thanks team!! My kids devoured the cheeseburger and fish and chips.

Just hosted my 21st at All Day Trader which was a fantastic venue! The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout the night with great customer service. The managers were amazing and looked after us the entire night to make sure everything went smoothly. They were also great at helping to plan and coordinate the party itself. Everyone who went said the food was delicious (great pizzas and buttermilk fried chicken + squid) and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Great space that can easily fit 50 people (or more) for a cocktail style event with an outdoor area available as well. Would definitely recommend people to host an event here for these reasons and it is also very accessible for both cars and public transport.

We went to All Day Trader for an unplanned dinner. We had a movie at 7:30pm. With very poor planning we arrived at the restaurant at 7:00pm. We asked the staff if it will be possible to get the meals out ASAP. The staff were very helpful and excellent service is an understatement. The food was delicious and came out within 10/15min accompanied by cocktails that were beautiful. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the delicious food without a timeframe. Would highly recommend!

We went there for our friend's 21st, for the Bottomless Brunch and it was absolutely amazing. Service was great and the different flavored mimosas were so delicious. The eggs Benedict, smashed beef burger and Margherita pizza were all so yummy. We had a great time there, and we ended it with a yummy espresso martini.

Staff were amazing. Food was fast and delicious.

Visited this place last Saturday and it has now gone into our "visit again list". Friendly staff, awesome place to dine-in with great space. Specially the foods were great and beyond the expected level. Big thanks to the Chef and staff for their great work. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Extremely lovely service from numerous wait staff, hospitable and welcoming, friendly and so accommodating even when my mum picked a wine she didn’t like, they swapped it for free which was beyond what we expected. Lovely staff and will be back in a heartbeat when I’m next visiting from Christchurch. Thank you 🙏🏼

Went for a late night dessert. Enjoyed their iced chocolate & tea with sticky date pudding. All very delicious but one thing that I loved about this place was their service. They were super friendly & attentive! Highly recommend.

Delightful Sunday brunch. If you’re in Albany mall or the surrounding area make an effort to stop into All Day Trader. Being on the outside of the mall takes you away from the food hall and people traffic. With lovely seating options, outdoor heaters and blankets, you’re covered for all weather. Great coffee, reasonable pricing and well seasoned food. With the push to support local, All Day Trader and their fab staff have earned our support. Look forward to returning and trying the lunch and dinner menu.

Ridiculous meal pricing! I payed $30 for this Pork belly, chorizo and broccoli meal with purées carrot. Do you’re self a favour and don’t order this. Huge waste of money! Only positive was the seating, very spacious, and good service.

$1 oysters delicious! Kids pizza was burnt; medium steak was dry and tough. Prawn pasta was nice but tiny portion. On the other hand, kids burger was almost an adult portion

First time being here, didn't have good expectations since all the food around the mall is horrible. I wouldn't recommend the food here, drinks were the usual. Shrimp pasta was undercooked, the fish was very bland. Service was good, staff responded quickly to my request for recooking my food.

Got a Flat White, Latte and a Macadamia White Chocolate Chip Cookie. Coffee was really cheap but taste pretty average. But the staff were very kind.

Had a very good experience here, the place isn’t very cramped - very spacious. Their service was amazing!<br/>We’ve been here even without first tables and enjoyed it. Their food is delicious - especially their tuna dish. Would definitely visit again soon.

A quiet thursday evening. Food was great, ordered the chicken burger, pork baos, fried chicken and waffle fries. Interior is clean and modern with a chill vibe. Will definitely be returning.

We were greeted at the door nicely by a staff member. We sat down looked at the menus then we waited 20-25 minutes waiting for someone to come take an order & we hadn’t been offered any water or a drink yet. We ended up leaving & not ordering after no one came to serve us. Wouldn’t go back, the menu was to fussy & complicated .

Had lunch here with my mum and we ordered the Beef Burger, Beef Brisket Bao and Oysters. The burger was amazingly huge and the shoestrings fries that came with it was delicious, perfectly matched with the mayo dipping sauce. My only critical feedback for them is that their beef brisket bao was EXTREMELY salty, so much so, that we nearly had to drown ourselves with water-it was really difficult to swallow. Please, please, please change that from your menu.

Loved it. Great food. Awesome selection of food and drinks with daily specials. Excellent staff and service. Fab for lunch and dinner or just a platter and drinks. Will be back!

We as a family had the pleasure of sharing our Grandsons 21st birthday at Albany All day trader yesterday, the staff were all friendly and professional.<br/>Everything we ordered was right up there for quality and presentation.<br/>The food was of a very high standard (I particularly enjoyed the squid and my rack of lamb)<br/>Thankyou for a lovely meal.

Open clean restaurant with friendly staff. Their menu is wide varieties. Meat dish, vegetarian, seafoods... something for everyone. I loves fresh oysters. My family enjoyed beef burger (huge!). Plenty of free mall parking, open from morning till night.

The All Day Trader is a relatively new addition to the restaurant row at the Albany Mall. We had lunch there a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has ample inside and outside seating which is spacious and very comfortable. We shared plates of cheesy potato bites with bacon jam, beef and black beer croquettes with habanero mayo, and caramelised onion focaccia pizza bread. All dishes were absolutely delicious, with amazing flavours, and quite enough for a lunch.<br/>While we were there we noticed that they have a $39.50 brekkie platter for sharing in the weekends, so we returned to try it out a few days later. The 2-tier platter contained poached eggs on layered potato cake, smashed Avocado bruschetta, crispy kale and bacon on the lower layer, and fresh fruit, ricotta pancakes with cherry compote, and coconut ice cream on the upper layer. <br/>On both visits the wait staff were superb - special shout out to the waitress and chef who served us the platter even though it past the noon cut-off point - many thanks! There are many other items we intend to try on the menu, but the brekkie sharing platter is a must have - ample for 2, but comfortably catering for 3 or 4 - and we are definitely coming back for more.

It’s a very nice cafe in terms of food and environment. The food is delicious and quite innovative (unique way of cooking). They also have weekly offers that change all the time. A great place for casual dining or even special events (it looks great)

Great vibe and service 9/10 times. <br/><br/>The food can be overpriced and some dishes are just ok. The burger is my favorite, I actually appreciate that there are no fries (boring and done like a billion times...) But most people are surprised. <br/><br/>Consider signing up for their loyalty program, they don’t make it official, but it’s like 10% rebate which is crazy good.

The good fact about this place is it is open late night outside the mall. Nice ambiance & music. Their kitchen closes way earlier. We have gone here twice. <br/>I had ordered Cola soda float, my friend had ordered watermelon soda.<br/><br/>The watermelon soda was not tasty at all. So sharp in taste. <br/><br/>Previously we have also tried Rasberry lemonade & lemonode. Which was good and refreshing.<br/>

Definetly won’t be coming back here was super disappointed none of the food had any flavour pork in the pork buns had bones in them , squid wasn’t chilli as stated fries were nice but still not “Parmesan” flavoured like the menu said. Nice glass of wine though

Great atmosphere and decor. Very good service and friendly staff. We had a group and food came out at relatively the same time and was Very delicious. I will definitely go back! We had a good dinner experience on Saturday night. Thanks all day trader

A lovely atmosphere, great customer service and fun music! And they have atomic coffee which is always promising (we didn't try it though).<br/>However, the food was very average and overpriced. The menu outlines would could be some delicious dishes, however the meals were not well executed. We ordered the fried chicken and the fried eggplant baguette.<br/>The fried chicken ended up being a few nugget-like pieces covered in a sugary 'hot sauce'. Fries were piled on top along with a lonesome pickled carrot. Luckily, the chips were nice and crunchy.<br/>The baguette was a decent size and the bread and fried eggplant were yum! However, the sandwich as a whole was rather tasteless and watery. It also had an unpleasant combination of really hot and really cold elements.<br/>On the whole, we were expecting a better standard of food for the prices we were paying.

Amazing service, super nice decor and general vibe. Definitely going to become the go to for many in the area! Really nice coffee and drink selection

Had burger during lunch time, the burger was a little bit in American style, average. The fries was great, and the coke was too small. Friend recommended Bao, but I didn't try it.

Loved this place. The environment is good, the service is excellent and the food is exceptional! Everything we ordered was surprising and delicious, one of those places that stay in your mind even after a few week after your last visit.

Good place for Friday afternoon drinks.<br/><br/>Epic Armageddon IPA.....<br/><br/>They gave complimentary Cheese n Mac Croquettes ......which weren’t good.<br/><br/>I ordered the 12 Korean chicken wings for $12 and only ate one. Was going to take them home in a doggy bag but when I came back from the bathroom, the table was cleared. The bar manager said he would replace them the next time I was back............

We have visited in the afternoon for coffee and snack. We ordered Karaage chicken and eggplant chips but quite disappointed as eggplant was too soggy and chicken was too dry and overcooked.<br/>Coffee took longer than food. <br/>Friendly staff and love the ambience thou.

Came here for breakfast and the breakfast platter, was huge!!! 3 of us shared and were stuffed. Also got the jug of traditonal Mimosa which was very refreshing on a hot sunny morning,

We tried All Day Trader tonight, nice atmosphere, kid-friendly, comfy seating, etc. The menu looked promising and kids had the fish and chips which they loved, however, the steak was not well cooked with pieces varying from well done to blue and was cut into slices. Rosti was not good at all; way over cooked to the point it tasted burnt and crumbled when tried to cut. My partners mimosa was tiny, small wine flute-sized, slaw tasted like cabbage in spicy peanut butter. Has potential to be good but needs work.
