Review Opium - Albany

This is a gem in Albany Village. We discovered this Cafe while going for a walk. A busy place, but very good quality food. The best waffles and cream we ever tasted. 💯 The coffee is good too. We will go here again. Decent pricing too. Recommend this place if you're in Albany Village.

We had french toast and Bulgogi(beef) on rice. Very friendly staff, good service and great food! It’s a perfect place to visit for weekends late breakfast and going for a walk afterwards! Thumbs up 👍

Visited for breakfast and a coffee, haven't visited for a long time and really liked and noticed the new decor, tables, flooring and seating inside. Looks great. Very clean and nicely presented, meal lovely coffee nice very happy, friend had Ramen and enjoyed hers as well.

Shop looks much better after the ownership change. The premise looks much bright and vibrant. I only tried a coffee and fries but it seems I have more choices with the menu now.

Was walking the area with my 3 year old who wanted a "pink cake". The lady in the shop prepped a quick skewer with pink marshmallow which my minion gleefully accepted. I ordered a cappuccino which was tasty so all in all happy with our unplanned visit.

This lovely cafe has been here for years, an absolute gem in "the village". They've redecorated recently, much lighter and more inviting. The service, price and quality is still excellent!

Comfortable and unpretentious with friendly, efficient service. Indoor and outdoor seating. A good range of tasty food at great prices, hard to beat the all day breakfast special - eggs about 10 different ways with tea or coffee for $10. We are lucky to have this little place as our local.

Massive choice, good prices. This place gets busy, service can be patchy but overall friendly. The french toast is giant. Also weirdly has kebab options, and asian dishes too, along with the standard breakfast fare.
