Review Tulbo - Albany

Really delicious pork offal soup! They have special request type if you wan more meat or less meat. The service is good, they offer more side dishes (the kimchi is super duper good! I even feel wan to eat 5 more plates haha if I could) and soup without our request. The portion is big enough and both of us feel super full and warm to have this in a rainy day! Love it.

Still keeping its old reputation. "순대국밥" has a decent amount of meat and 순대. I have noticed the amount of side dishes of kimchi portions are slightly less from a couple of years ago, but it is understandable with increased food costs. Note: if you are not familiar with the dish, this take some guts trying after all, it is pork intestines and livers 🤣

highly recommend with their Signature soup. With reasonable price $23 which include rice and side dish.

The soup was superb! It was filling and delicious. Their kimchi is also really nice :)

Amazing authentic Korean sundae (not the ice cream) it's hot bone soup with korean blood sausage and offal slices. Served with rice and banchan. Come and try it out!!

It Is the meal I willing to drive 45min to here to have it. Nice kimchi and pork soup. Most of the comment said the food were nice but the service not up to bar , so the review only got 3.6 star, but I only hunt for the food so it doesn't matter for me, but I feel the service actual good, the young man will initiative come to ask to re-fill my side dishes and have me a small hot soup maybe seeing my sister and I sharing the pork soup and it was raining day, impressive. Definitely will come back again and hope they will keep this standard don't let me down.

Famous traditional Korean pig intestine and blood sausage soup. Awesome taste unlike what it sounds. A must try.

The soup was so creamy and viscous and the meat portion was big. Perfect meal for cold winter. But side dishes were pretty average tho and rice wasn’t good enough. Service was a bit slow.

If you havent tried Tulbone, you havent tried Korean cuisine 😁 it's not your typical bugolgi, kimchi soup kinda restaurant. Their signature dish is Sundaeguk, a hearty soup that is especially good for hangover cure 😉 thank me later!

It is really comfortable to eat in winter. But the product is really unstable. I have gone several times, and the soup is sometimes very fishy.

Busy all the time, it’s one of famous Korean restaurants, yum yum Korean sausages plus port soup. The service is excellent and the staff is helpful. VH

Don't have many choose to eat, but food was taste good

It was very good. But since the owner changed, the quantity of the Sundae Soup got significantly smaller than last time.

Good to go and fill up your energy with protein.

They only accept takeaway orders from 9pm when they close at 11pm wtf

We ordered pork soup without Head meat and that will be extra $$$$??? Paid 23 for only 1 soup?

Sun Dae Guk is very good and hearty, and pork bone soups also delicious. Great sides. Probably my favourite Kim chi and picked radish around. But the Sun Dae Guk only had a few small pieces of sun dae. Wish it would be more.

I liked the taste of Sun Dae Guk. However the amount of Sun Dae in the soup is too small (about 3 Sun Dae) and the Kimchi side dish tasted like the one selling from the Korean mart. Overall, i would rate this place 3.5 stars.

Korean authentic flavor.
Their kkackdigi is go along with the soup.
The price is consistently going up, though
Whenever I miss Korea, I visit there

Unfriendly and so expensive. Was $13 each Sun DAE Guk for $17 each now and the other soup for $19 each. It’s sooooo expensive. City one so much better.

I used to go city branch .so here is my first visit.
I ordered 1 sundae guk and 1 pirk meat bone soup.
Sundae guk is so smooth and deep soup to eat also doesn't have any smell at all.but bone soup is quite expensive as my expectation.

Their place is never organized and their staff are always so lost and confused (I barely see anyone working here for long expect the owner).. the portion of soondae and meat in they give you always change and i almost feel like im chated when i order takeaways only becuase they hardly ever give me anything.. when they do give me more on my lucky day it's still not even close to the amount they give you in the city I recommend the city branch it's just way better there that's why I drive all the way there for soondae even when I'm already on the shore..

It’s the first time I try Korean pork soup. Recommended by my friend, I tried both signature soup and bone soup. The original pork soup was served unsalted and I added several sauces and spices to flavour it, which was typically Korean style. The soup was good, while the assorted pork in soup tasted oily. It might be a good ideal to have a hot oily soup in a cold winter night but Auckland was not that cold for this soup, I have to eat lot of kimchi to reduce the oily feeling in my mouth. The pork neck bone soup, on the other hand, was nicely flavoured and not that oily.
Average ambient and ok service,I rate this place 3.5/5 overall.

Amazing pork soup, especially tender and lovely pork in the soup, holy... would definitely advise the owner to hire at least one more staff as the current two don’t seem enough and the overload of work/requests from customers have certainly showed on the staff’s attitude.

Very disappointed with the service. Came with my brother and mum and ordered 2 bowls because I can’t finish a bowl by myself. Was told we can’t order two bowls between 3 people unless one person does not eat.

It is a good place. We will be there in future. We ordered two soup. The pork soup is good, only a little bit strange smell of pork. But when you add salt and pepper, it is better. The pork bone soup is good. I think it is better than some places in city center. I really like their different spicy sauce. If they provide more side dish, it will be definitely a five star place!

Poor customer service. Rude staff. Appears understaffed compared to how busy the place was. Customers being ignored as walking in waiting to be seated. Not welcoming.

Really bad customer service, please do some customer service course, extremely poor service, very rude attitude!!! Never be treated such service like this, the waitress had really bad face! Food is just fine.

Poor service seemingly due to being understaffed. Had the front half of a fly come out of my soup which put me off my meal. I can still remember its eyes and front legs so that will be a memory i will always cherish.

This is not your typical Korean restaurant and is a restaurant for meat lovers (and I mean, seriously there's no vegetarian option at all)

Simple, fresh, hearty dishes. Great especially on a Winter day/evening.

I actually find it so weird that reviews here are quite low when the restaurant is always busy and I've always had a positive experience every time I come! The staff are very friendly and attentive - they always greet customers when they come in and say bye when people leave, I'm guessing this is Korean tradition. Anyways I love the soups here! Even the spicy pork bone one (not the pictured) is super yummy although I do have to admit there's hardly any meat on the pork bones for $15. I like the fact that we get to add our own seasoning (shrimps, pepper etc) when the soup arrives because that way we can add to our preferences. I'm not so much a fan of their other dishes beside the soup! But that's fine by me because I only come here for the soup anyway! My go to for a quick breakfast when I feel like Korean food!

Not a particular enjoyable dining experience. Food is very bland. I don't like it when customers have to add salt or anything themselves to make the soup more flavoursome. Blood sausage and pork liver tastes quite average. As for the pork bone soup,it was really disappointing. Tiny meat and dry cabbage. I also find their side dishes are wierd in that there's no side dishes at all! There are only two giant pots that contain spicey cabbage and turnip. Where are the four to seven typical Korean sides???

not so many choices on the menu The waiter is a very kindly boy. I like the special sauce and powder.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
