Review St Pierre's Presents Sushi Japan - Albany

I come here regularly for their Tuesday specials. My wife is coeliac, and when I let them know, they always make her fresh sushi with fresh equipment. I'm never made to feel a bother. They do it happily. Lovely people and service.

Clean restaurant with friendly staff. Lots of options to choose from including chicken, fish, and veggie options. There is a fridge of beverages to purchase and additional seating in the back. The sushi I wanted was not available but they made it quickly for me and it was delicious. No complaints here. Additional notes.. limited parking on site, may have to park in the garage around the back .

Was charged double but was promptly refunded the next day after I found out and spoke to them. They apologise very sincerely too. I just need to double check before I paywave in future. Lesson learnt. Both salmon and chicken sushi was fresh and yummy.

I came here in he morning and my sushi was made to order. I got the jumbo salmon lovers. It was so fresh and absolutely delicious. You can never go wrong with st pierres salmon šŸ£ their tuna and prawn options are also very nice :))

I've been enjoying St Pierre's sushi since 2009 and these are still my favourite sushi, best ever, they taste great. Tried chicken, tuna, salmon, prawns, vege, combos, loved all of it. Kids enjoy salmon and vege these days.

We order the platters for parties and they are always ready on time and taste great. Ordering online is easy too.

My number one place to go for sushi! Owner Danny makes the best salmon nigirišŸ£, so fresh and delicious! Will be back for more and highly recommend to sushi lovers!

Great sushi thatā€™s fresh and well made.

Staff was friendly and quickly addressed my order. Sushi was good - sticky rice, creamy avocado, and I like their spicy mayo. You really canā€™t beat the convenience and price of their daily half and half boxes either. This place is becoming my go-to for a quick, easy, cheap, and relatively healthy lunch option.

Best place to have a quick bite. In fact, my son rated Carl's Junior higher than Mac. Just a note

Itā€™s always good quality and good choice at any St Pierreā€™s. Always happy to make something for you. I love that you can get brown rice now.

Selection can be lacking but the staff are friendly and do a really great job at making good fresh sushi šŸ£

I am quite picky about my sushi so take this as you will. I tried the smoked salmon roll! It was good and the portion size to price was great. The only problem I had was the flavour. I didn't think it had enough flavour at all for being smoked salmon. The roll overall was quite tasty with the combination but I probably should have gotten a different roll with more prominent flavours. The dragon roll looks good so I will have to check that out next time. For the price, I would say the sushi is good but since it is cheap don't go here looking for anything extreme or super special. Yummy grab and go sushi for when you are on a low budget and in a rush. I suggest checking out their daily specials and getting there early if you were to go!

Had sushi from here and it was tasty as always! It was nice and fresh and tasted really yum. Recommend to pop in for some sushi if you're around.

Extremely low value for money, the chicken katsu is 90% rice and the rest is tiny bits of chicken and other stuff. How does this even pass the test of a healthy meal. The miso soup is just like colored water. Very bland. I spent $10 but I wouldn't eat that again for free. My first and last time in St. Pierres. They should remove the "Japan" label there it's a disgrace.

Cannot explain why but this has been my least favourite St Pierre'sĀ sushi destination on the North Shore. Compared to others such as Browns Bay, Albany's selection is always poor, and if asked to make it fresh the workers take twice as long as normal. The rice always tastes undercooked, the chicken extremely dry and the salmon tasting a bit off. I don't understand why this may be just an Albany thing but my experiences have not been the best. A shame as it is very close to me, but I will continue to be making my way to Browns Bay/others.

Local Friday sushi for the last year. Close to work, easily accessible and as with all St Pierre's you know what you are getting.

Have always been happy with the quality at this branch, only gripe would be their staff: could be a little more friendlier and this has been all visits in the last year.

Deal of the day is a easy light meal. Fresh on request. Clean and friendly service. Good selection and good size. Pretty well priced. Quick service

A+++
We've been to multiple St Pierre's branches as their sushi is very reliable and tasty, this branch is fantastic. Love the ability to have fresh sushi made to order, so quickly as well. The staff are so lovely and very helpful. I've bought platters from them, which is great value for money and can serve a large number of guests as a healthy option.
Highly recommend their avocado and salmon, and avocado and teriyaki chicken. You can also upsize them to jumbo if you want more meat, or go for double avocado for those of us who can't get enough.

Always clean with space to eat at the table, and plenty of parking outside or in the parking building behind them.

Loveeeee the guy at St Pierre's! He's so kind and welcoming and always offering to make whatever you want if you can't find it or they have run out eg. Sushi of the day haha as its very popular. It's a really cute little Shop and the seating arrangements are fine. They have toilets which are a bonus and a walkway out to the back carport which is good and handy. I love how there sushi is always fresh and there miso is so good!!!

My favourite place to go for sushi! The staff are absolutely lovely and will make any sushi you want fresh even if it's not on the menu. A friendly family atmosphere at affordable prices. Highly recommended!

St Pierre's Sushi pops up everywhere I go! It's definitely a joint that's been westernised to fit people's tastebuds. For me, it's just not authentic enough. BUT šŸ˜„!! I did enjoy my time here today. This was the second time I'd had St Pierre's in a week. The Albany store is definitely cleaner than most with friendly staff who actually SMILE! I liked that they had a lot of seating and even a high chair for my little baby friend.

Today, I ordered the fresh salmon double avo low carb (w/ brown rice) sushi. It went down a treat with my miso soup. The high rating is due to my love for their low carb options as well as the fresh taste of the sushi at this branch!

St Pierres sushi seems to be EVERYWHERE these days! And for good reason too, they're sushi is amazing!

I had the crispy chicken which was so yum! I'm a sucker for Japanese. I thought it was pretty reasonable pricing too!

Would definitely come again, they've got so many options!

Very disgusting! I bought a terriyaki chicken rice box. It tastes horrible. I also bought the special lunch box ($5.4 for 10 pieces of sushi). They are the most disgusting sushi I have ever tried. They left a yucky taste in your mouth for a long time. I am a great fan of sushi and I am 100% sure this is a wrong place to go.
