Review Carl's Jr - Albany

First time here in many years. Everything was hot and fresh and served with a smile and good customer service. The fried zucchini was okay, not hand breaded at the store. The chicken was pretty good. The chicken sandwich had a huge piece of lettuce that overtook the sandwich but still good. The only downfall is the Chicken strips seem to be getting smaller and the prices are going higher. It really doesn't matter where you go for chicken.

Drive thru service was very fast and friendly. The Big Carl Combo was at a great promo price and it was very fresh and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and the landscape is very nice. This is a great place to stop while traveling on I-5.

What happened to the dollar menu and zucchini fries. I only had 5 dollars had to get spicy chicken sandwich which use to be a dollar and bum some fries from my sister and niece.oh I had to take a sip of their drink. Most expensive item.

First time trying Carl's Jr it was amazing! I ordered the 5 peice chicken strips and french fries and I also got a medium Coco cola to have with it also. The chicken strips were nice and tasty. The fries were very good also. Definetly coming back soon and im going to be a regular customer. I really recommend this place!!

My husband loves the burgers here. And the line is Usually pretty quick. Like how its close to the high way, So it's actually very convenient.

One of the better carls jr locations i have visited, chicken and hamburgers usually fresh as ordered, fried can be cold due to wait, but id rather have cold fries than chicken.

We decided to buy $75 worth of food for a Carl's Jr. Buffet at the hotel and had an absolute delicious and "carbcoma" party time. The fabulous folks working that night, 3 of them, made the food fresh, as ordered and fast. We were happily impressed with their attitudes and customer service. To the 3 people working at the Carl's Jr. In Albany Oregon located by Costco on June 7th 2022 at 10:30 pm...You are ROCKSTARS! I hope you know how wonderful you all are. You all deserve a raise and a bonus.. Our group will not forget how rad y'all were. Thank you!!

You can always depend on quality from Carles Jr, and they didn't disappoint today.

#16 is the go to for me. Choose your meat and save the other for later or have both and then a cookie + a drink? By the time I get to the cookie I usually give it up to someone but today I finished that b and I have no rgerts

Excellent hamburgers with a strong chicken menu and salad options. Very clean premises. Friendly service. Reasonably prompt service.

They have more meat not burgers king, who's meat patties keep getting smaller Great fries and shakes too.

Still the best drive through burgers in town!

Don’t know why the rating for this Carl’s junior is so low, I’ve always had a great experience.<br/>I would recommend the memphis bbq, the chicken guacamole bbq burger and the jalapeño poppers.<br/>Their fries aren’t always 10/10 but everything else is great.<br/>I would recommend drive through since the tables tend to be sticky like most fast food joints, but they have salt and pepper at each table which I think is great.

Burgers are fine. But love the Chili Cheese fries! Too small and a bit dirty, tables are not clean even some customers left already. 🍟🍔🍟🍔

Don't order the white-choc/pineapple milkshake! Had a really terrible experience in the drive through, the milkshake had ONIONS IN IT!!! (or rancid pineapple?) made a complaint and waiting for their response. <br/><br/>Otherwise this place is usually good :(

The first time we came here, our burgers were nice but the chicken was a lukewarm. <br/><br/>Second time was much better, hot burgers and very tasty. This was the same the third time. Service was quick but staff seemed a bit off.

Horrible.<br/>Went for a burger and found the ambience, the food, the hygiene standard and the staff all quite lacking.<br/>The place was dirty - food not cleaned off the floors, tables or seats.<br/>The staff lack-lustre<br/>Just not nice and we shan't be back.

Can't really say much for a popular overseas fast food chain. Very lively addition on the shore or New Zealand for that matter. A very good alternative to Burger King nearby.

Walked into Carl's Junior on the North Shore tonight. The place was empty. Staff giggling behind the counter doing nothing, 1 guy behind the till. We ordered (the angus burgers) and I ask the guy to fill up the condiments as this is empty. We sit down but note the floors and seats are filthy! A minute later our order is brought to us. The burgers appear 4 days old and the chips taste 4 days old. I take it back. I note another couple also send their food back, and not long after that another order is queried. Carl's Junior was a refreshing change to the awful Macdonalds and Burger King, but they have slumped to the same poor quality. Thank God for Burger Fuel who has maintained a consistent standard.

terrible burgers, the staff simply don't care about how they present the food. I tried to contact them in regards to my burgers and the manager was very rude, I could hear him in the back ground talking to the staff & it was not nice. When he finally answered the phone he was totally un- helpful

The seevice was non existent, food was cold and there was a 25minute wait.<br/>This is the worst Carl's junior in Auckland and I urge you not to waste your money going there.<br/>Check this for a "brownie" that we ordered... it's a joke. <br/>You should actually be ashamed of yourselves for calling this a restaurant

On the drive back from Omaha we stopped by Carl's Jr for quick lunch. It has been almost 2 years since I last dined here . <br/><br/>I ordered the 1/2 lbs Angus portobello burger and my partner in crime had the 1/3 Angus el scorcho. <br/><br/>The 1/2lb Angus patty was slight dry and the edges were burnt. However the portobello sauce, portobello and the soft cheese made the burger quite tasty . <br/><br/>My partner really enjoyed his El Scorcho burger, he is a huge chilli fan so the burger was right up his alley. The chilli poppers with the crispy coating, added a nice combination of flavours and textures. <br/><br/>We both liked our burgers, might make the next visit sooner than 2 years lol <br/><br/>

Went again last night,after awhile of not going there due to it turning crap..was surprised to find a packed busy place, clean restaurant and good service, what happened? Yay for them..it means i can enjoy my favourite milk shakes of any chain again...and burgers aswell..super star with cheese and chilly cheese fries, was a treat..thanx for sorting your problems there..seating good,price alittle more, service ok.

Possibly the worst Carl's Jr in Auckland. All around slow service, rude lazy staff, unclean shop. Don't get me started on the drive through staff the term simple comes to mind. Went back 3rd time (my error) always the same will prefer to travel out of my way than to return there.

Yeah.....nothing to rave about here. Ordinary but big burgers. I find that some of the burgers are a bit difficult to manage as the patty and the lettuce, etc. likes to slip out from the middle. What I like about this place is that the seating is comfortable and the area with the free accompaniments are a great touch. Which unfortunately is not topped up most of the time. When available, the jalapenos, pickles and the salsa....very nice. I also liked the zucchini fries which again they are "out of" most of the time. The service while okay sometimes is quite indifferent at other times. They tend to rush you a bit for the order even when there aren't anyone else waiting. A bit unnerving if you like to take some time and decide what you want. Anyway, this is a lunch time joint I go to if I am really hungry and am bored of all the other options. Food 3/5, Price 3/5, Service 2.5/5, Portion 3.5/5

Had the worst every experience here trying to get a vegetarian option that is no problem at BK or other Carl Jr branches ended up with just lettuce and onion rings in it. Staff seemed to have no concept of what 'salad' and onion rings involved and were non apologetic or helpful so will never shop at Carl's Jr again.

I don't agree with the others. I love the food. Whenever we pass carls Jr, my sisters always say " mum, when can we go to carls Jr? " my mum and dad love the yellow chillies.the seats are so comfy

Really unhappy with this whole experience.  Took the kids for lunch after a family morning out on Friday 10/10/14, after being recommended how "great" Carls Jnr was.  The Albany branch was filthy, barely a table to sit at, and it wasn't overly busy as we arrived around 2.30pm - not quite the lunch rush.  Unhelpful service at the counter, when querying what was in/came with certain meal deals/burgers etc.  Waited a fair while to be served cold chips for the most part, and one order was wrong and had to be returned straight to the counter, where I was questioned over and over again about it.  I would NEVER go back.  Very slack overall.  So slack infact that I have emailed the Head Office, and to what avail... none... no reply.  A let down.  Won't be back.

Your drive-thru service is sooo bad! We waited 20minutes in line waiting to place our order!!! You need to put more staff on because you guys are way to slow with the food and the line of cars that que are ridiculous. People inside get served quicker than doing through the drive-thru!

What a great end to a crap year. We went to Carl's Jr for dinner New Year's Eve. They left out the chicken tenders, so I had to go back and ask for them meanwhile the rest of the dinner was going cold. My son ordered a chicken bacon crispy and it was smaller than my burger a Portobello mushroom and his was more expensive. My burger had the lettuce core in it. The lady that served us was very pleasant but I wouldn't be rushing back there.

this place is a terrible example of the sweet burger you will get at any other branch. They did not have zucchini for over 6 weeks. They want to charge for BBQ sauce and they frequently leave items out of the order when using the drive through. I asked for mayo last time and was given 2 sachets despite ordering 4 combos! I asked for more and the kid said he was only allowed to give 2 per customer. this store is making a huge profit and treats it's customers like rubbish! I love Carl jr in the USA and was so pleased when the franchise came here only to be let down by bad franchise owner!
