Nando's is great just on its own for some delish chicken. When the staff takes a special interest in your interest and give great service with a touch of personality, thats when you'll get me coming back every time.

The standard has picked up again, happy to say we are back ordering chicken here again. Not dry like before, but always need to remind them when ordering to make sure there's sufficient basting.

Great Chicken dishes, the different degrees of the Peri-Peri is scrumptious, the hotter the better. Overall a good experience weather you enjoy your meal in house or as a take away. Have always been served with a smile and a friendly greeting when you leave, overall a pleasant meal and experience.

Good and friendly service. Food was good and came out at in a good amount of time. As all Nando's though, I still think the prices are a bit high for what you get. I won't rate this store down for that though, as they can not exactly control that

Who cannot love Nando's? It is the juiciest and most flavourful chicken ever! A treat I will have everyday if I could. My family loves the lemon and herb, but I will have my way and get a hot.... soon. Would like to see some of that famous catchy advertising in Nz!

The chicken is quite good although I wasn't a fan of the peri peri chips. A bit of a wait for the food (around 15 minutes) even though it wasn't too busy. It's nice that it comes with some hot sauce so that you can make it spicier if that's your kind of thing. They're licensed as well, which is fairly unusual for a takeaway-style restaurant in Albany

Very tasty. Got the supremo in a pita mild and chips with peri salt. Definitely cleans the nasal and such. Might stick to original salted next time. Nice tomato sauce too.

Tonight we were service 2 paella’s, the rice and chicken was rubbery and hard to chew, the courgettes were barely cooked and the service was horrible.

Was good. I had 5 pieces of tight and half chicken and add fries and drink.

Third time we have come here at around 7pm and been told the Espatadas has run out. The Albany branch is always very understaffed & they also ran out of mild sauce????........

Can't go wrong with a cheeky nandos. This branch is good, I've only had good experiences and the food is always delicious. Plenty of space to find yourself a table right in the middle of Albany.

We went to albany nandos the service was great and food was yummy, and good to see Gejo in albany great service mate..i hope to see you back in wairau..😊

I have had 2 terrible experiences here. 1st was when they refused to answer the phone so I drove in only to be told that they had run out of chicken at 6:30pm and it would take 45+ mins to order more chicken. 2nd bad experience is phoning to make an order for one item only, being told it would take 20-25 mins, driving in to pick this up 30 mins later and arriving only to be told it would take another 30-35 more mins. This place gives Nando’s a bad name.

Waited ages in front of the counter, no smiles or a simple “we will be with you shortly” from the staffs (mmm ok) then one of the girls went and attended to the couple behind us!??? We were told waiting time for whole chicken will be 45mins ...so we gladly left :)

First time ordering off uber eats with nandos ANS gotta say I'm dissapointed. The chips were cold and soggy the sauce wasn't in the bag that you guys charge 2.5 for and the chicken was dry. A bit sad guys I expected more!

Absolutely love the menu at Nando’s!<br/>The staff are very nice and friendly.<br/>Peru Peru chicken burgers & Espetada is so yummy. It’s grilled chicken in skewers with onion & capsicum. You get to chose side dishes and we tried the Rice.<br/>Lovely place to go out for Dinner or Lunch.<br/>Lovely menu if you like spicy flavoursome food.

It was the first time visiting Nando's Albany. We arrived there for about 2pm-ish and most of the tables were full. It took more than 10 minutes to clean the table (I even had to get to the counter asking for it) The food was okay but lack of the customer service.

Always had good experiences in this Nandos outlet, chicken is juicy and basted with just the right amount of sauces, peri peri chips are crunchy, albeit sometimes a bit too salty from too much peri peri powder, coleslaw is fresh too. Service is quick and friendly. Will definitely come again when we have the cravings.

We have been to Nandos many times in the past but not for a while, and one of us being particularly a lover of spicy chicken, we felt a revisit was due. We went to Nandos in Albany over the weekend and chose to share the Espetadas (marinated chicken thighs on skewers) with sides of spicy rice and peri peri fries. The chicken was divinely succulent and spicy, with the delicious taste of the marinade. The rice was nice and spicy and went well with the chicken, as did the peri peri chips coated in Nandos great tasting spice mix. If you like chicken and spice (and spicy chicken in particular) you will not be disappointed.

I ordered takeaway. The chips where stone cold and rock solid. No sauces. Burger was ok but doesn’t make up for the $4.5 fries that I’ve just purchased!!!

Ordered from here through Uber Eats. The chicken was fantastic but the peri peri chips were super salty and could not be eaten. The grilled lovers had no basting on them<br/>

Always had wonderful chicken and peri peri chips but yesterday I had a disastrous chips. It was beyond soggy and the seasoning on the chips were not evenly distributed, which resulted some extremely salty chips and some with no seasoning at all. Quite disappointing considering that I come every 2-4weeks for last 3years and this never happened before. For that, I will give 3.5 instead of 4.5

Clean food. Portions are small , prices high. If you're a group that's looking to get full, be prepared to spend. I would still recommend for the chicken. <br/><br/>Only thing that makes this place stand out is the grilled whole chicken. <br/><br/>Ordered Portoguese Rolls, it ended up being ciabatta looking bread , not "rolls"at all. <br/><br/>Spicey rice: taste like the uncle bens packet pilaf , under seasoned and no flavour. <br/><br/>Fries are average: just sprinted with Piri piri powder.

The best nandos to visit in Auckland I always come here, has good service and moist chicken. There was only one time our meal got messed up but was fixed and we got extra chips definitely must try if you haven't already.<br/><br/><br/>

Food was great. Waiting for food was longer than expected otherwise would have given 4 rating.<br/>But lovely staff.....Enjoyed my food.

Horrible. Chips were waaay too salty. Ordered half a chicken and got the tiniest chicken piece with mostly skin and bone. Only thing nice was the coleslaw.

Oh NANDO'S! Good alternative to KFC! Haha..and male sure you get their peri-peri chips!!<br/><br/>Great food, fast and friendly service. Strategic location with convenient parking.<br/><br/>Their variety of sauces make them special. You can also purchase the sauces from any of their stores.

Love this place! Came in yesterday and staffs were really friendly and numerous. Service was prompt even though there was likes staff and busy. Food was delicious as always. I'll defiantly be back!

Owners are very rude. Don't seem to care. Food is good but they need an attitude adjustment. Especially for the price of there chicken and chips. Take away food at restaurant prices.

Poor service. Waited 40 minutes and found out our order wasnt even in the kitchen. Cashier guy was ok but lady in kitchen came out and was very rude. Very poor service!

First time at the albany branch, was very busy. Food was excellent, everything well seasoned and tasted amazing. Tables and booths were cleaned promptly and the whole store in general was very clean. We had great service by maybe the manager of the store? he was very welcoming. Will be back soon!!

One of my favourite places - best chicken ever with the Peri-peri chips! I do hope that nandos does start using some sort of advertising to get to the masses and let them know how awesome their food is! #g1

Chickens great, chips are very good. Would recommend the Espetada and the chicken/salad pita wrap. Good amount of parking, good service, worth a try.

One of my favourite places for a quick meal! I come here a couple of times a week with my partner and family. Best chicken ever, it's always so juicy and well seasoned! The salads are alway fresh, the corn is delicious and the chocolate mousse is definitely a favourite!

Best service compare to all other Nandos branch on the shore. It's pur go to place. Some branches go stingy on your quarter chicken meals or fries, they give what you paid for. The owners/cashier help you pick the best deal to feed a large group. The place is clean and well maintained. Our go to place when we want grilled chicken.

Went here on Sunday as our usual Nandos of Lincoln Road was closed due to reservations. What a pleasant surprise. Nice warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Albany branch. We ordered the family feast and meal came out promptly within 20mins which was fair as restaurant was very busy. Chicken was delicious and without the chemical taste as I have experienced at other Nandos. Restaurant was clean and toilets clean as well. Really enjoyed my experience here and will be back when I am out over the shore.

Nandos.......my go to place when I get the hunger pangs of the grilled chicken kind. Oh and the chips......peri peri chips. One cannot go wrong with a hot quarter chicken and peri peri chips. And maybe the basted grilled corn on the cob. This particular outlet even has decent service. Nice but slightly dry ambience though. But that's okay if the food is good. I definitely recommend it at least once.Food 4.5/5, Service 3.5/5, Price 3.5/5

who doesn't like Nandoos but SERVICE at Albany nandoos is crap. lady taking the couldn't even understand what I am saying.not recommended at all Been to few other store awesome food and service

My go-to diner when I'm starved!!!! I love nando's chicken. It is soooo yummy. I always get the half chicken or bbq ribs. The meat is always tender and full of flavour. I gave it a 4.5/5 and not a 5/5 because the environment is slightly dull. Great Portuguese food though. Never any complaints about the food. Great value for your money as well.

I frequent the Albany Nandos often and have never had a negative experience in their restaurant. I've eaten in a few times but I get takeaways mostly.<br/>Service is excellent. Whether it be a quiet Saturday afternoon or a busy Friday evening I'm always greeted with a smile. The staff do not rush you when placing your order unlike most other "order at counter" establishments. The restaurant is always clean and I've never seen dirty dishes on an empty table either.<br/>When I've asked chicken loving people if they've ever been to Nandos the most popular response is no. When asked why I'm simply told because they are uneasy about trying new places. Big mistake! <br/>I had never set foot in a Nandos store until 2 years ago. My first perception was they they only offer cooked chickens, either half or full which I have no interest in. I've bought chickens before from the supermarket and they're always gross. I thought Nandos chicken would be no different but I was wrong! <br/>The menu ranges from Nandos chicken burgers - different from any other chicken burger. These are flame grilled and have 3 flavour options to choose from. Lemon &amp; herb, mild or hot (as with all of the menu itmes). I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're better than Burgerfuel chicken burgers. McD's, BK etc. are simply rubbish.<br/>A range of different chicken salads - delicious! I get this about 60% of the time. Flame grilled chicken - 1/4, 1/2 or full with a few other options. OMG!<br/>Chicken livers, BBQ wings, vegetarian meals, family combos, wraps, pitas, kids meals, delicious range of sides. The menu is far from average. <br/>The food and dressings are always fresh. I've never had a tough piece of chicken from Nandos. Coleslaw is always fresh, potato salad is always tasty and the food has always been perfectly spiced. I've never felt like it needs less or more seasoning.<br/>I could go on for a long time and pinpoint every detail but I'm not going to. You need to experience it for yourself.<br/>If you've thought about eating at or from Nandos then you're already half way there. Now you need to go and have the experience. <br/>I'm not affiliated with Nandos in any way. I'm just a happy satisfied customer who feels that more people need to start enjoying the food too.

Nandos is my self-confessed favourite place to eat.. Their food is amazing and the vibe there is nice,clean and relaxing. You can go at any time of the day and get a great meal. <br/>We ordered the chicken tenderloins, fries and the peri peri chicken livers are outstanding , which I have to say definitely hit the spot.. The food was provided promptly and was freshly cooked with a good flavour. Great value and reasonably healthy! <br/>Customer service is always great and I always suggest this restaurant to all my friends and family. Very polite, friendly and helpful lady.<br/> All was good we will be back very soon. Love the food here and the service is the best I've experienced at any Nandos, highly recommend to all. <br/>Good service, great food. Keep it up.

We came from Brisbane for a week's holiday.We have been eating Nandos in Brisbane which I enjoy so I decided to try Nandos in Auckland. I was shopping in Albany Westfield mall and I saw Nandos so we decided to eat at Albany Nandos. As we entered the restaurant a cheerful lady greeted us with a big smile and helped us order our food. We ordered chicken livers hot Peri Peri and flame grilled chicken. It was devine and very juicy.As for the livers it is not offered on the menu in Australia so we just loved it. It was so tasty and good value for money. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We would highly recommend this restaurant. If we come back to NZ we definitely will be visiting this restaurant again.

It's a great style of food, with delicious sauce. My partner and I went for the "Espetada Grande" which was excellent value at about $28 for two Espetadas &amp; one large side of coleslaw (which was very yum). <br/><br/>The 'Espetadas', which I'd never heard of before, were grilled pieces of chicken skewered onto a vertical hanging contraption - great presentation! Wedged in between the pieces of chicken were juicy red peppers and soft-grilled onions. Yum. <br/><br/>We ordered 'mild', which our helpful waitress guided us towards. (She appeared to be of Indian origin, so I asked her if she liked hot Indian (we both like Medium-hot), and she said yes - she likes hot Indian, but mild Nando's periperi - which was SUPER helpful! Otherwise we might have ordered the wrong heat... the mild was definitely hot to our palates, and just right for us.<br/><br/>On the table were bottles of Peri Peri sauce to add on if we preferred more heat (a 'hot' PeriPeri, and a 'mild' PeriPeri). I highly recommend adding more of the mild PeriPeri table sauce to make your Espetada even more delicious - there were subtle and piquantly beautiful flavours in there that I couldn't taste in the sauce that the chicken was already generously doused in when it was served.<br/><br/>I would have LOVED to have a beer with the meal, but the place isn't licensed. <br/><br/>For our preschooler, the helpful waitress asked the chef to prepare her a bun with lettuce, tomato and cheese on our request. Perfect! This was achieved without any drama, at minimal expense, and was MOST appreciated, for enabling us to indulge our spicy appetite without inflicting it on our spice-averse child!<br/><br/>My only recommendation (apart from wishing for a nice cold beer) is that I would not have known that we needed to order at the till. Maybe a little bit of signage to this effect would have helped? That said, our waitress came and advised us to order at the till when we were ready.<br/><br/>A final compliment needs to go to the extremely well presented menu. Whoever designed such a complicated set of options to be so easy to follow, did a brilliant job.

I love Nandos. This one is just as good as any of the other branches around the place. Periperi sauce is awesome.
