Lovely early breakfast. Really friendly staff.

Popped in here for a business meeting a catchup up.<br/>It's a fairly tired looking coffee shop that needs to work on the counter food side as well as its menu.<br/><br/>The service was pretty friendly, the coffee was actually great.<br/><br/>I wish I could give a 3.5 stars, it's not a 4 but not a 3 either<br/><br/>One of those places that just needs to have a think on what kind of customers it wants<br/><br/>Would go back, but would not rush too

Delicious Pies and great coffee, and very affordable price in Albany. Had become my regular place for breakfast and coffee. Recently had try their breakfast thru uber, that is great!

Best iced coffee ever! I love coming here during the summer to get their amazing make on the typical iced coffee. They use a vanilla powder which makes it the perfect sweetness without any need to add more sugar or sweetener to it. The owner is super friendly and always makes an effort to provide good service. The food here is your typical bakery options. Do not come here for cafe options as you'll be let down. I feel that Mercari should just be called Mercari bakery rather than stating they're also a cafe.

Terrible sandwiches ... Give it a miss.... Stale bread and sloppy toppings... Yuck.<br/>Egg sandwich had tuna in it??? <br/>BLT bread was like a hard crust! B<br/>Yuck all around

This place is a great place for coffee and a quick bite. The woman that owns the place is extremely sweet and friendly. The place is quite big and while the food doesnt appear all that great, I can say that the sandwiches are very fresh and delicious. Their ice coffee is 100/100, I always go just for their ice coffee.

Definitely bang for your buck here. <br/><br/>Myself and finance always come here for breakfast at least once a month. We haven't so much tried the cabinet food but definitely the breakfast menu surprises you. <br/> <br/>2 thumbs up 😁

Nice cafe. Nice costumer service. The custard pie was yummy with cinnamon sprinkle, look forward to come again try another pastry and bakeries here.

We have been to the Mercari Bakery a number of times and found the cabinet food to very good and a reasonable price, and have always been tempted by the blackboard Breakfast menu.  So last Sunday we went for brunch and both chose the big breakfast ($16.50) one with fried eggs and the other scrambled. This is truly a BIG breakfast, with two sausages, two eggs, two pieces of toast, two hash browns, tomato and sautéed mushrooms and onions.  After this meal we were both full. There is a wide range of cabinet food available, and during the week there are curry meals, and Italian dishes such as cannelloni, fettuccine and lasagne available in foil containers for takeaway.  The service is good and very friendly. The bakery offers a variety of delicious food at a good price, and overall excellent value for money.

Good, competent lunchbar food with a seating area and a clean public dunny. Good snack selection, well-presented food served by friendly staff with the right attitude. This is a better and cheaper family alternative to the overpriced offerings in the mall foodcourt, and handy for a stop and go lunch if you're in a hurry.

Mercari is a small, Asian owned bakery with nothing much going on in terms of decor, branding or feels-- it's really simple with nothing memorable at all. But don't let this fool you as it's a lovely place to go to when you're in Albany!<br/>I've never tried their dine in menu but I'm loving this place; I try to stop by when I'm in Albany or simply ask for takeaway when people are up there--their pie is really, really good! My favorite is their award winning mince and cheese although none of the pies I've eaten from here has disappointed me so far. Come later after lunchtime and you may be disappointed as the pies are usually sold out during the day with only a few left to choose from. They do decent coffee as well and the staff are very friendly and always smiling.
