Who would have thought one would be able to find some authentic Chinese food here? I mean, I know Arrowtown used to be a Chinese settlement but the streets were filled with Western dining, so this was an unexpected find.
We ordered the pork and prawn dumplings and also the vegetarian dumplings. Both were great and hit a home run for us. We also ordered the BBQ pork rice and noodles, which to our surprise the pork were similar to what our taste buds were used to. We loved it! In fact we wanted more and regretted not ordering the bigger portion for the noodle.
Skip the chicken and sweet corn soup though. Tasted exactly like a canned Campbell soup.
We had the pork & prawn dumpling soup and a mixed plate of pan fried dumplings. No complaints from us it was all tasty 👍
Amazing dumplings, really juicy inside and the chilli sauce to go with it is amazing too! We'd definitely travel back just for the dumplings 😋 friendly owner too!
Not bad if you want Asian food, noodle soup. It's kind of instant seeweed soup with boiled noodle with pork & prawn dumplings.
we had the dumplings here and they were yum. you can choose between steamed or fried and can get a combination of different ones.
Just got a wonton noodle soup .... packed full was hardly room for the soup .... just the way I like it
