Review Miyabi Top In Town - Ashburton

We think the buffet is quite pricey considered the options given, flavour is alright. Main menu is much attracting with value of money. Will be back again but not for buffet. Appreciate their gesture to serve extra side dish when there's limited options for vegetarian on the buffet dishes, friendly service.

Went there for the first time to have a dinner, we loved the foods there, the chicken karage, takoyaki and sushi platter for 2 are 100%!! Ooh not forgetting to mention the udon noodles was my husband’s favourite. The staffs are amazing and best service. We are definitely gonna come back 🤤

Really nice fine Asian dining place. They serve a good combination of Indian and Japanese food. Highly recommended, and would visit again.

Have been two weekends in a row, meals were Chicken Tika Masala (pictured), Lamb Madras, Lamb Vindaloo and Chicken fried rice. Flavour was exquisite in all dishes. Under new Ownership and it shows!! 11 out of 10

Staying in Ashburton and wanting a bit of takeout, felt like Sushi and my partner felt like a bit of Indian. Walking in I was immediately greeted with a very friendly welcome. Asked if they did some take out and he said yes and offered me some water. I really wished we were eating in as this place smelt amazing with an authentic Indian buffet on the go. Still needed my Sushi fix so opted for one of their platters which was fantastic and well priced. My partner ended up having the teriyaki chicken which was one of the nicest flavoured I’d had in awhile. If you plan a night out for dinner in Ashburton and feel like some authentic Asian cuisine then you’ve got to give this place a go. Wonderful food! Will be back for sure.

Great food. We had the Indian menu, all 4 dishes were excellent. The Vegetable Manchurian was our favourite. Big roomy comfortable space. Pleasant music. Not fast service but very good.

I came down from Auckland to visit my fam and we went to Miyabi to have dinner and we were very impressed with the atmosphere, staffs, food and hygiene. We were greeted immediately by all the staffs and one of the most friendly staff Ying showed us our seats and immediately got into service. She was absolutely delightful to communicate with and was very helpful to help us choose from the amazing menu that were offered to us. Very warm and welcoming place. We definitely recommend anyone and everyone to visit and have a feed here. You would not be disappointed at all. Their chicken biryani is amazing!! Thank you Ying for your amazing service-we wish you to grow ahead in this industry and we wish Miyabi all the very best for their upcoming success.

Nice Japanese restaurant. They have set lunch menu and the portion is quite good.

Miyabi Top In Town Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious & I am sure they have one of the best Chefs in town. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It's definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food, its definitely worth every dollar. Nice and clean place. Good customer service with welcoming staff. This place has varity of indian and Japanese flavors to try from. ordered dumplings, mango chicken that was served with rice and they tasted good. There is a small open car park outside .

Generous parking in front of restaurant. Good quality food. Very tasty and well presented. It's a spacious space with high ceiling. This makes for the sound to become quite loud at times. Friendly staff. Reasonable wait times. Pleasant experience.

We both loved our meals - Red Dragon sushi & Vegan peanut sauce stir fry - even better than last time. Friends happy with their meals too. Pleasant service & accommodating of special requests. Desserts were yum too. We much prefer Miyabi with the new owners and more diverse range of food... more options for low carb and vegetarian eaters. Already looking forward to next time!

Amazing! Mainly impressed by the friendly, attentive and accommodating staff - the fresh food and great variety were a bonus. Heaps of Gluten free options (although utensil contamination is an issue so best not to use the serving rings but to grab a fresh utensil ) plenty of sushi including gf teriyaki and gf tepan as well as curries stir fry and dessert options. Great spot worth the drive down from Chch ! We will be back �

The restaurant has very nice atmosphere. The food we ordered were delicious. Very friendly staff as well as the owner. This restaurant is highly recommended for those that drive pass through Ashburton.

Awsome food, fantastic service. There were no tables available but we sat at the temp bar to eat with a family of 5 (2 adults, 3kids) the chef was a top block 10/10 for our food and his entertainment with our children deffintly the best place iv taken my family to eat out and first time trying japanese food. Awsome MIYABI and high 5 to ur chef

Talking about great food and one of the best service you could ever get from a Resturant... Miyabi Ashburton has it all. Highly recommend and I can assure you, you won't be disappointed

What an amazing restaurant. The food and friendly staff were just 10 out of 10. Don't drive through Ashburton without stopping for a great meal.

The service let this restaurant down tonight for a birthday meal. 1st we had to ask for drinks we also got no water on the table. and took 45 mins to even take our order. to finish we then waited 30 mins for a menu for desserts which never came. We left and went to another restaurant for dessert and we were a party of 8. Not happy at all.

Gorgeous restaurant with lovely staff and amazing food. Very much enjoyed my meal especially those beautiful pork dumplings and the special dessert (Trio!!!) on Saturday night!

Food was lovely and didn’t have to wait long. Great friendly staff and prompt with their service. A nice dining atmosphere.
