Review Nosh Cafe - Ashburton

Hard to fault. The establishment was clean and friendly, a warm atmosphere. The food was fantastic! Prices a little high but for the taste shouldn't complain. People were treated with a laugh and friendly chatter. What really impressed me was that the owner was involved on the floor, checking everything was okay and monitoring his staff as well as super friendly. The building is beautiful and landscape tidy. Only thing that needs to be mentioned is the vent near our seat which flies were coming out of. Will definately not be sitting there next time.

Absolutely awesome food, huge serving sizes and excellent coffee. Recommend the chowder, potato skins and squid salad. Delicious and conveniently adjacent to one of the best yarn stores in NZ! Best cafe in Ashburton.

Outside seating is in a lovely garden. Despite not many vegetarian options being offered on the menu, the chef (apparently also a vegetarian) was able to improvise an awesome vegetarian pasta dish. The soup and iced chai were yummy too!

Good food, great environment but prices are a bit over the average. The service is also great.

Me and my partner went for lunch, food was really delicious. Great service. Although there was dirty cups and water jug on the table when we went to sit down. Reasonable prices for what we ordered. Definitely coming back.

Our regular Sunday morning breakfasts are always the best. Great service, fantastic coffee, great cabinet food and great kitchen. It’s busy because it’s good. The outdoor sitting areas are great on a nice day too. Best cafe in Ashburton.
