Was really disappointed last time I dined in. my meat was overcooked, and my sauce was oily. Then my dessert was tiny. I usually love dining here. The front of house staff are amazing & make you feel welcome

First time going here, absolutely the best garlic bread I've had ( and Ive had some decent garlic bread) it was a sweet chilli and cheesy garlic, and I had the chicken stack for dinner absolutely delicious, ribs were big and meaty, and bonus my kid got to eat free! The service was exceptional, did not have to wait or want for anything. Thank you armadillos Ashburton! We will be back

Had the lunch meal and it was ok. Would be interesting to see the place busy at night to get a proper feel for the place.

Had an amazing first experience of an Armadillos restaurant. The service was honestly some of the BEST! Fantastic service by all, extremely friendly staff, great meals- we highly recommend!

Visited the day after a big night out and a short drive around the area. Great place for some comfort food. It was a quiet Sunday so we were the only ones in the restaurant and had a table next to large open windows. Friendly service with meals for two served quickly. Chicken Pasta, Sirloin Steak, Camembert bites all tasted good. No complaints at all. Good prices.

Delicious prawns. Server gave us some great advice and information on the road we were taling up to Arthurs Pass.

We went for lunch and stayed on until dinner. We absolutely loved it. Wine list showcases New Zealands best. The steak I had for lunch was not only generously portioned but perfectly cooked as ordered. Then for dinner our table of three were delighted by the chef's special beef fillet, seafood paella, and pork belly. The new hosts personally checked we were happy with our meals. The menu has a few more choices I want and wish I could have eaten it all. Definitely will be back for more. Waitstaff to kitchen - the service was great.

Could not fault the food we enjoyed yesterday. Although we had to wait a bit for the food to be served it was worth the wait and all our meals arrived at the same time.

We went for a girls night out drinking cocktails. However, after 1 cocktail each we got told that they were to busy to make us anymore!! It was 10pm with 4 bar staff on and only about 40 customers in the bar. After I went back to out table the 4 bar staff had no one to serve. If you can't make a cocktail with this number of people, you should not have a cocktail menu. Very disappointed.

Went for Mother's Day meal. Waiting staff were lovely, however quality of meal was well below expectation. Certainly won't be hurrying back to dine.

Absolutely poor customer service with one of the staff verbally attacking a customer out of turn don't ever go here

had the oysters natural, they were wonderful, just loved them. the meal was very nice, the place clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful, a good night all round

They first lost our booking then it was a 1 hour wait for drinks, main arrived before entree and drinks, steak was rare instead of medium.
