Stopped in at this cafe on the way to Chch and it was delicious. Beautiful friensdly staff with great customer service.

I love this wee coffee shop. The food is always nice and never feels like production line food, the coffee is excellent, and I've tried everywhere else in Ashburton! My only niggle is that since covid they tend to shut too early for the after school trade, but I'm sure they'll get their confidence back. They also do catering, if it's anything like their shop I'm sure it's fantastic.
Nice cafe in the town. A bit dark interior. I got an espresso macchiato, rather sour than balanced taste, not too visually appealing foam, but better than from a coffee machine. Staff quite friendly. They also have very yummy-looking cakes and quiches.
Good food, particularly the the French toastie, it was superb. Self service cafe which I haven't seen in a longtime so very easy and quick. Milkshake was nice and served in an old fashioned glass milk bottle which was very nostalgic. Would certainly return.
Had a beautiful keto savory snack here.
Sadly side salad was over run by a sesame oil dressing. I normally don't eat dressings like this in keto.
Had looked at the citrus slice and decided against it.
My mum ended up purchasing it.

Very glad we wandered in here. They had that special something that made everything extra tasty without just being extra sugar or salt. Nice vegan and keto options too.
Nice muffin. Coffee had no body and was overheated. One staff member not very friendly. A pity as the food looked nice but I wouldn't go back for the coffee.
Cheeky, fun staff who clearly have a lot of fun working together and love their job. Their dessert "experiments" are delicious too, if there's something around. Certainly recommended to pull off the highway and drop in if you need a road-side stop.
Fine first visit. Convenient parking. Coffee good and generous. Cheese scones need more cheese... But that's me being picky... Good people good experience.
