I was looking for the possum skin since we found out that possum is bad for New Zealand environment. Then we found this cozy store run by gentle ladies. The store have nice goods for hand made lovers and some other good quality local hand made goods. So glad to have visited here~

If you have never stopped there. Then you must stop and have a look. Then you can enjoy a drink and something to eat before you leave.

My wife, the knitter, says it was one of the best wool shops she has experienced.

Lovely shop with very helpful staff. Treated myself to some stunningly beautiful Ashford merino wool. Lots of other beautiful products and wools so it would have been very easy to come away with more. Didn't have time this visit but, judging by how popular the cafe was, l will have to try it out next visit.

Some really loverly things for a wide range of craftspeople. Kitsets for knitters and Felters ideal gifts or for use while travelling. Spinning and weaving supplies allow plenty of browsing time.

Went to renovated cafe. Was okay, but a bit mish-mash re service. Some customers were seated by staff, which we were told to do, and others were served at counter. A couple at a table close to us walked out as no-one came to serve them.
