Hello Beasty - Auckland Central - Photo album

Went here on a whim without a reservation for dinner at 5pm. Luckily we got a table and had the best dinner during our three weeks travel all over New Zealand. The lamb shoulder is hands down THE dish to get. Skyrocketed straight into the top 5 dishes I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Meat was so tende
Vibrant, fun, perfect for our group of 8 of to kick back and relax after a day at the tunnelling conference on a Monday night (booking required). Food was fresh, delicious, packed with flavour and textures. Wine list was good. The chef's menu made it easy for us not having to decide.
The place had a great atmosphere. Our waiter was a trainee and very helpful and friendly. She made great recommendations. I will def go back to this place to try the other things on the menu There's only so much you can try in one visit. The share plates are great and highly recommended. John dory w
The food is to die for. The lamb shoulder (melt in your mouth and the sauce… every drop, yum), tasty flatbread to soak up all that yummy sauce, and the potstickers all fantastic. The oysters are fresh and delicious ! You will definitely want to be repeat customers. And the people who work there are
This place was absolutely amazing for a late night dinner! Went on a Tuesday which was still super busy. The decor, staff and the food were all great. We were greeted as we walked in and we ordered quite a bit which they served one at a time. Highly recommend the twist donuts, katsu sando and the pr
Delicious East Asian fusion and immaculate vibes 🤌🏻 Loved every dish we got! Special mention to the Tuna Tartare (small but one bite is satisfying) and the Pork char siu pancake (served Okonomiyaki style!)
Such a cute restaurant with a fun atmosphere. Loved the decor and wall art. Food and drink were tasty. Serving small "shareable" plates, we were able to try a variety of dishes. Roasted carrots were my favorite! My husband loves the kbbq chicken skewers very much.
Luckily, restaurant month somehow in New Zealand so worth trying the degustation in august for sure! What a perfect business travel alignment. Very upbeat place with a nice vibe and food was nice as a once off for me.
Everything here is incredible, cocktails, staff, wine, food, etc. But mainly, you need to come here for the donuts. Absolutely unreal. You won’t regret it. (Yeah I didn’t share a photo of the donuts, but trust me, you will be happy).
This was the best meal I had in Auckland! I sat at the bar with Nellie and Helene and have never in my life received better service. I told them to bring me whatever they wanted and they totally gave me the best of the best. I am so glad I got to experience their hospitality at Hello Beasty, they ma
Great service. Great twist on Asian food. Fun, lively atmosphere for big groups.
Had a great dining experience here. Our waitress was very polite and efficient. Made sure all our needs were met. We tried 7 dishes. All were really tasty, but the lamb shoulder was by far the absolute best of the night. The place was packed to the rafters, making it noisy, but it was great to see
What a fantastic place to eat! Food was sooooo good, the atmosphere was pumping and the service from everyone was really attentive. Our server Craig gave excellent food recommendations and was amazing when it came to my partners dietaries, writing a full menu with alterations and what she could/coul
A very decent Asian fusion restaurant. Loved sitting in front of the open kitchen and seeing how each chef creates wonderful dishes. Very well organized kitchen and good services. My recommendations are Korean Fried Cauliflower, Tuna Tartar (a bit spicy), and Pork Scotch.
Our last dinner in Auckland and Hello Beasty was incredible! The potstickers were so delicious but the slow roasted lamb was the best I have ever had so tender! John Dory with the most incredible shrimp and scallop dumpling was also excellent. Very nice wines and friendly service spot on. We ha
This place is modern, vibrant and fun. The food is delicious and varied. Our waitress was so happy and like a ninja, only there when you needed her. We sat at the bar and watched the chiefs prepare the food. It was fun, and it really helped us decide what to order. It can be a little hot and noisy
One of the best experiences in town. We booked but it didn't go through the system... the manager was very accommodating and asked us to wait in the bar till she could arrange a table for us. The bartender was lovely and convinced us to have a cocktail ($18).. simply delicious and beautiful! Few min
One of, if not the best meal I have ever had. We came here twice over the course of two weeks as the food was so good. First time we did the tasting menu and it was spectacular. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Service was excellent too. 2nd visit we ordered items that were not on the tasting
