Great pub with an amazing choices of beer (this is a beer lovers stop), the fish and chips was alright (bit soggy on the inside). But the beers were nice and crisp. Great pub atmosphere

One of our new favorite places ever. We chanced across it, went in and were blown away by 20 different craft beers taps available. We resolved to try everyone one of them and did so over a 3 day period, including a visit to watch the American Superbowl on a Monday (in Canada, it's Sunday). I loved the ability to try out different varieties of beer from different NZ craft breweries. I also loved the use of ice cream bar sticks to put the name of the taster on. We almost thought to collect them, but decided to recycle and reuse. Also had some phenomenal Korean Spicy Chicken chicken (Several times).

Beautiful brewers pub with a brilliant fresh menu and inspiring pints on tap. The staff are so chill yet friendly and have great advice about the extensive rotating range of beers. The sours are always my favourite. Fantastic quality. I also really enjoy the fish tacos - full of zing. The freshness of the fish is always on point and the beer batter couldn’t be lighter or crispier. It’s a great spot to stop in for a lunch or a huddle with mates. Love it!

It’s a good vibe! The fish and chips was absolutely delicious (way better than I was expecting for a bar). Seems like a good spot for local regulars after work. They have tons of choices of beers and other drinks and lots of food options on the menu. Definitely a peni$ flytrap if you’re a woman looking for your choice of guys. Skews on the 30+ age bracket. Lively environment without being overwhelming. Staff are quick to slang the drinks so there’s not a long wait even if it’s busy.

Good rotation of craft beer taps and bottles available. Very nice fish and chips

Fully recommend to visit the spot whenever looking for tasty and fresh fish & chips 🐠 🍟 Super soft fish with slightly sweet coating with crispy fries and white sauce was a perfect meal for afternoon hunger. The portion is huge, easily to be split for two people who just want to have a bite, not a full meal. 🤤👌🏻

Found this place for casual lunch w beer. They have quite nice local tab lagers and ipas. Good qualities for brewers burger and fish&chips

Came by to check out the beer selection and wasn't let down by the impressive selection they had. They had 20 different beers on tap and changed a few at the end of the night. The hardest thing is choosing from the selection. The beer names are on the tap but there was a "pouring now" wire board with the beer currently on tap. The area isn't too bad, parking available around the Victoria street region. They had a few tables inside as well as outside and it was fairly large. The food was quite nice. Quite a few thing to choose from but I would recommend the fish and chips is it is your first time here since they are a fish and chippery. Selection of fishes with different prices and different styles of cooking. What was interesting is that they serve all their food takeaway style, wrapped in paper. Tasty food and nicely priced.

Great selection of beer and food - very friendly staff. We will be back! Suggestion: Try to optimise the Calamari a little bit. There is room for improvement.

This was close to my hotel and thought it was worth a shot. Fish and chips were fantastic, and the beers I had were really good. The only down side was that the tables had not been wiped down, we had to do it ourselves. The food and the beer overcame that though!

Burgers were filling and tasted good but felt like there may have been a little something missing (Chicken one could have had more flavour). Salad bar was disappointing (more something of the side rather than something you could make a meal out of). Great diverse selection of drinks. Service was friendly and reasonably fast given the busy lunch hour. Would come again and try something else :)

The Korean spicy chicken was pretty amazing! Highly recommend it. Helpful and Friendly staff as well as a fantastic selection of beer on tap.

Fantastic selection of craft beers. The food is very good. The selection of foods could be better but the food I had was bang on. I had the pulled pork tacos. And they were really good. The beef was also fantastic. This place does charge backs to Ramada suites also

Delicious beers, friendly staff, cool atmosphere and yummy food. Worth a stop.

Super nice place to grab a craft beer ! Fish and chips was one of the best I had (do take the bread crumb option) ans you can taste the beers if you're unsure of your choice. Bonus point for the view on the sky tower.

Incredible selection of beers, very good food, the chicken burger was tender and moist, chips were incredibly crunchy, and the service was fast. I would put a 6th stars for the superb playlist.

Excellent range of craft beers. These guys are also famous for their fish and chips which I haven't yet tried but I'm keen.

Solid spot for a good drop. Popped into this place last evening for a few brews and a catch up. The beer selection was great. Service was friendly and swift. Had some wings and curly fries to go with it and no complaints from here. The wings were great with just the perfect level of spice. Will definitely try the burgers next time.

Had the vege burger here. It was ok, pretty hard to eat as the halloumi and mushrooms were massive pieces so kept falling out. But it tasted pretty good. It’s at a really busy corner so it was packed at lunchtime. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t rave about it to make a come back.

Relaxed brew bar in central location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and fantastic selection of craft beers. Also one of the best fish burgers in Auckland, love those buttery brioche buns :-) European style people watching on the road with quick and friendly service to keep any amateur diner satisfied!

I usually like going to Breweries. This place is located on Vic St in a very busy location. Its especially packed on weekends and sunny evenings.
Had a couple of beers with fries. Tjey give massive amount of fries, enough for 3!
Had tap beers which are not on the menu but available over the counter. They have good spread of beers and the ambience is friendly. Not a super classy place but a good one to visit every now and then.

First and foremost, I dont drink much beer. I only went here because my friend wanted to try the place out. At some point I just gave up and chose what I thought was good and I was wrong. It was so bitter but then again, my friend told me crafts beer are usually bitter. Then I got the fish and chips which were yummy. I couldnt even finish my food cuz I was full.

The Brewers Co-operative is a craft beer bar with a difference. There are 24 rotating taps of quality New Zealand craft beers, which makes it one of the best craft beer spots in Auckland, but it’s also a great fish & chip shop.

A great selection of micro-brews on tap. I didn't see any of the big names, which was pleasant to see. The venue itself is nice, if a little 'grungey, and they appear to be saving on electricity by having the lightning set to 'mood lighting level 5'. I guess thats so you can just enjoy your beer in peace without looking at the person you are with (or even knowing if they are still there!)Has a distinct 'Wellington' vib, which I'm OK with. A great selection of beers, and the hips came out wrapped in paper with healthy selection of condiments! All in all a good option for some after work drinks!

I've been eyeing this place up for a while, as I walk past it every day after work; a time when I'm particularly vulnerable to be lured by beer.

The beer selection is decent, there's no big brands on tap, it's all small brewers who have been put up on display. This is good to see.

I ordered a 'Murica beer because the advertising said it "tasted like freedom". Not sure if this is quite true, but it was delicious nonetheless.

I also ordered the Brewers burger with chips. I wasn't too fussed with the 30 minute wait considering the size of my group.

The burger was superb, it was more delicious than those produced at exclusive burger joints.

I will come back soon for sure, as burgers and beer are too hard for me to resist.

I went here with some colleagues last Friday. To be truely honestly it was a weird, but satisfying experience. Firstly the fitout and decor is awesome, creating a comfortable cool feel to it. They have a salad bar available and you can just take a menu sit at a table and then order at the bar when your ready. They have a bit of a kiwi theme going on so they bring all the meals out wrapped in fish and chip newspaper, which is cool but a little hard to unravel!! My burger was very over cooked and needed more sauce for sure. However my colleagues got fish and a salad from the salad bar and they said they loved loved their food. All up it was $60ish for three of us including a drink each as well, so very reasonably priced

Came here for lunch after waiting over an hour for lunch at the Empire across the road. Greeted by a lovely waiter who found our group a table no problem. All of us chose different items from the menu & loved the food we received. The fish was lovely & fresh & the chips were tasty. Their drinks menu is heaven for your craft beer connoisseur. Lovely food, relaxed vibe, friendly service. We will definitely be back.

I saw this place walking past whilst in town for work. Thought it looked like a good place for a casual quiet dinner. Rolled in the next night and checked out the menu. I decided on the fish burger. Ordered a beer, went and sat down to wait for the food. On a positive, the beer was quite good; but that's the only positive thing. The fish burger arrived to my table packed like take away fish and chips in a cardboard box wrapped in paper. Cute but not very practical when sitting at a table. I unwrapped it and bit into the burger; something was wrong. It was all soggy. I thought maybe just a pocket of sauce or something so I kept going. Still soggy. It was at this point that I decided to deconstruct the burger. The batter was oily and soggy which had made the bun and everything else oily and soggy. I took the box up to the counter and waited for both staff to finish serving the same customer. I showed the staff, one of which took it away quite quickly with barely an apology. What happened next absolutely astonished me though. I was brought the bill! Really! Really? I couldn't believe it. They didn't offer me anything else. Didn't do anything really. Just expected me to pay. So I paid, and came back to the hotel to write this. My advice, do not go to this place! The food and service are rubbish. If you want craft beer and decent food in a casual setting, walk just up the road to Brothers Brewery.

Great line-up of taps. The beers rotate and there's a good representation of sessionable, hoppy, dark, and interesting (i.e. weird but worth trying) beers. Almost 100% of menu is fried food. But what else are you going to eat with a pint...kale?

Great food, great beer selection, all at great prices.

I'm flying into Auckland weekly for work and this has become my go to place since finding it a month ago. I eat out every night and can go anywhere yet this is the place I always come back to.

The food is consistently good and very reasonably priced and the beer selection is second to none. The sum of all its parts make this a real winner. I just wish it was back home so I could visit it more often

So much fun and the fish and chips are packaged beautifully and classically kiwi :) good range of beers and friendly service, glad to have them in the neighbourhood.

New venue...love craft beer...and it always helps when you get good food to go with it...! I'll start with the interior of the place...love the rustic but modern approach!
The drinks had a wide selection, including sour beers! I love sour beer!
We had the fish, one with panko breadcrumbs and the other battered served with kumara fries!
Really enjoyed them! Not greasy! Enjoyed the presentation being in boxes and newspaper! Good value for money for the standard of food!
So yes we'll be back.. See you Tuesday! P.s the staff were also helpful and friendly!

From my usual go to place Empire, now there's this one for a change. This place is trendy and there's a theme for everything. The craft beers are good and I liked the lager the most. Good Ambience. Cosy.
We ordered for Kumara chips. Chips were served in a take away container. That's a clever idea too. Yes chips are chips are chips. We enjoyed it. Will be back for more beers and food.
