Review Gourmet Burger & Brew Kitchen - Auckland Central

Friendly, quick service. We had the cheeseburger. It's quite large on an oversized bun, topped with lots of fresh mixed greens and tomato. It came well done, but was still a nice burger. Next time I would ask for it to be cooked less. Beer was frosty cold. Restaurant was tidy and the atmosphere relaxed. Great location to take a break and it's reasonably priced.

Awesome spot for a cold Mexican beer after a long day (I'd hiked from north to south across New Zealand's narrowest point) and a delicious burger - I had the cheeseburger - with ample fries. Sit outside with the locals and watch the world go by while you take in the impressive skyline of downtown Auckland. A much better option than the expensive and jam-packed places along the Viaduct. Highly recommended.

BEST Burgers 🍔 and chips in town, Great value 👏 good atmosphere Soo Delicious. Yummy yummy 😋

One of the good quality burgers I had in the town. Price is quite reasonable. Burgur has a large portion and chips is fresh too. Staff is friendly. I was quite enjoy with my friends.

Massive burger 🍔 Great fries 🍟 Cold beer🍺 Had the falafel burger made vegan. 10/10 such good price. Value for money 10/10

Ate here my first night in NZ, and even though they were close to closing the staff were friendly, and were still happy to cook us a meal. It was so good we went back for our final night in NZ, and the food was still excellent with reasonable prices & friendly staff.

Very chilled and laid back place. Great jug and bottled beer prices for a sunny afternoon, then end with a yummy burger. It’s a great spot for people watching. The service is fantastic and they remembered us each time we came in. The burgers are awesome. Really straight forward and almost like you’re at a family bbq, and not smothered in a rich sauce that ruins the burger. Ingredients are fresh. Need a bit of extra salt on your chips but no biggie. There is a blue cheese and beef burger that was our fave, be ready for it though. Also don’t go over to BurgerBurger in the food court because they burnt the bun completely and overcooked the chicken to a crisp. Go here instead - way better vibes and sincere service at gourmet b&b. We will miss this spot! Thank you for having us!

The best burger we have ever had. The quality is great and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Just GREAT, considering what you pay. We ordered a couple of burgers, some chips and a couple of jugs of beer - the burgers were huge, but easier to eat than your average gourmet burger because of the shape/ size of the bun. The chips were nice, and so were the beers. I'd highly recommend Gourmet Burger and Brew Kitchen if you're in the city and looking for some quality food, at a really reasonable price, with a good atmosphere.

Unfortunately they use frozen burger patties for a gourmet burgers place it is very disappointing. Sauces, buns etc are good but you get a frozen beef patties for the beef burger. Chicken burger was good.

Opposite new Msocial hotel & next to NZ natural ice cream. A 2shoplot Burger which has seatings inside & outside. 4 person picnic table waits customer who prefers fresh air & watch the world pass by. Pick a menu & go over to counter to place your orders. Friendly & attentive staff service each order. Pick your own non-alchololic drink from the fridge. Food served in under 15 minutes. Burger & ingredients were served on a 6" fresh bun. Chicken with avocado and veges is a crowd favourite. Another good choice was chicken and bacon. Fejoia, pear and elderflower drink was a nice balance of flovour. Traditional lemon soda has a strong sharp lemon after taste. Local andand B going for NZ$5. Nice food.

Went here for the biggest burger in town. We ordered kiwi classic and onion ring. The burger is big but not as big as we expected. Onion ring also crunchy and very tasty.

Cheap beers 🍻 & fries 🍟 , a nice spot for a quick stop in snack/sitdown. Was too hot during the day to have a full meal but will definitely have to try go back and try their burgers 🍔

I had the camembert beef burger, the patty was juicy and the sauces nice however it was average. I will try a more adventurous burger from here next time, still would highly recommend.

Rating: 3.5. The burgers here are ginormous. There are plenty of big burgers around, but they have the widest bun I’ve seen yet (is it bigger then my face!). The burger variations also has an International flavour. I gave the Blue Vein a missed & opted for the Creamy Camembert Gourmet Angus instead. The patty was juicy & the cheese was nice. However with the bun itself so big, the ratio of bun to fillings were not balanced, felt like there were just too much bun. Overall still a good burger.

Best burgers in town!! From the buns to the sauces, definitely not something you will find anywhere else! Would definitely suggest it over other burger places :) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

OK look I'm gonna be honest. The burgers are a solid 8.973/10. They're incredible. Balanced AF. Great portion size. Great flavours. Full of veges. The pattie was moist (I had the jalapeno burger). Legit the only thing that let them down was the guy who owns the place (and happens to take your order). I understand I came in at 2200 on a Friday and he's probably taken 1.3 million orders (cause this place is that delicious) but please, smile.

Huge burger! Definitely value of money for $15. Taste ok, real slices of chicken, good beef patty. Pretty good kumara fries. However service can be improved, grumpy man behind the counter and seems to be unhappy that we used the Entertainment vouchers. Why advertise there when you don't really want to honour the deal. Kinda baffles me!
David Arthur
They refused to honour an advertised special. The special is on their website; a $20 deal on Monday and Tuesday after 6.00 pm. I went in on Monday 18 February 2019 at 7.15pm and requested the $20 special. I was told they are not doing that special any more. I told them that its on advertised on their website. They didn't care and refused to honour it. This is terrible. Very poor business practice. Even illegal?

Had an awesome lunch there , 3 rd time in zealand but first time I tried it . Burger is so juicy and enormous , comes with great mix of flavors between eggs , cheese , bacon and of course the patty . Recommended.

Went to eat here with a couple of friends on a busy lunch rush. We had to wait for a while approx 40 mins for our burgers, but the burgers made the wait worthwhile. So big and flavourful, nothing negative here and worth every bit of your money just the wait time. Recommend to any burger lovers.

Came here last night after the NYE celebration around 1.30ish. We ordered 3 burger and 2 jugs of beer for 5 of us and this is what happened:
1. The waitress speak terrible English (it’s should be not a problem but it made her come back a few times until we got exactly what we ordered).
2. While we were waiting for our food, 3 different waitresses approached our table and asked the same thing “did you order something? If you don’t order any food you can’t sit here” within 10 minutes.
3. After we got our food, my friend asked for a ketchup since we don’t have one on our table and the waitress was actually scream “aaaaaaarghhhhhh” to us and grab a ketchup from another table and finally gave it to us.
4. After we finished the 2 jugs of beer, one of my friend went to buy some more and the cashier said “no alcohol without food” after explaining that we already ordered, he said “no more alcohol our license is expired after 12am” which they served us beer at the first order around 1.30.
5. Around 2.30, it’s probably their closing time, one of my friend was eating the burger half way through by hand and the waitress actually take his plate and asked whether he had finished his beer as well, which there was half full left.
FYI we are not the last group to stay there were 5 more tables more.
Nothing special about the food but trust me I never had this kind of experience before. Such a bizarre place.

Best burgers in Auckland by far!! They have recently downsized their burgers from what it seems my current visit but not by much, the taste is great and the price is cheap for what you’re getting

Had an awesome night at the boat show and on the way back home felt a craving for a nice burger. I had walked past this restaurant many times in the past to dine at near by restaurants, but I'm glad I tried this place. They keep to the point and use juicy, fresh ingredients in their burgers. Great portion size on the burgers but slightly on the low with their fries. I ordered the kiwi supreme and my director the chicken deluxe. The beef pattie in my burger was very well seasoned and very juicy. The egg and beetroot accompanied the well toasted bun and Pattie extremely well. The chicken burger was very much enjoyed also.

The ambience was quite lively and the service was OK.

Overall, a very good experience and a restaurant that I will certainly be returning to.

Been there after visiting Rangitoto island. $5 for beer attracted me and it is a nice place with some lively ambience. Ordered a beer and chicken nuggets and chips. Nuggets Wr perfectly cooked and was tasty. Chips was just okayish. Big fat fries which im not so fond of.
Service wise great and friendly staff. Will visit again.
Kudos

Went there only for snacks and drinks. Service wasn’t great. Food had no flavour, potato fries tasted weird. My coffee was the worst. The music was also VERY loud. Really didn’t enjoy the experience, nice location though

The sign outside said $5 beers, but for some reason I was charged $9.50, and the manager was rather rude and dismissive. Also, there is a signed photograph of Al Pacino on their wall, which is probably fake just like their false advertising. My overall impression is that this place is a scam. I will not go there again.

Burgers are HUGE! And delicious, kumara chips were Devine but the best part was the $15 Jug of beer, my friend had a glass of cider as well and the glasses are large, such a good meal for an affordable price. Would definitely go back 100%. Left full and happy :)

Just happened to walk past this place and fancied it as a beer & burger for $20 stood out. I opted for the Ostrich Burger, and my colleague had the Wild Pork Burger. We had a short wait for our meals to arrive, nice size portions, we both enjoyed them.

Staff were friendly.
Indypindy05
I went with Kwin Dela Torre and all we could say was WOW. The burgers are huge but absolutely delicious as well. The staff were very hands on and made sure that we were satisfied with our food too.
Thank you so much!! Definitely going back again 😊
Kwin Dela Torre
Super super delicious, would definitely eat here again! Burgers were absolutely massive and it was as juicier than any burger I’ve ever had. Service was amazing, our waitress was hilarious and friendly. Definitely worth the trip to the city for these gourmet burgers.
Sonam Naidoo
Nailed the burger! So amazing, full of flavour. Don't normally like beef burgers but this is by far an absolute treat. Chilli jalapeño burger, must try!!! 😌

We wanted a hot chocolate to take on the ferry and B&B Kitchen advertised that they serve coffee. The female server was lovely but the manager was very rude and condescending when we ordered. We waited and it was obvious that our drinks weren't being made. I told the female staff that we would have to leave so she offered a refund. The manager asked her what was wrong and gave me a filthy look. I told them to forget it and walked away. My daughter, who was watching saw the manager make hand gestures at me as I walked away. Needless to say that I will never go there again. Rude and the smells of fried food were horrible. Why advertise coffee if you don't want to serve it and why work in hospitality if you aren't hospitable?

This is one of the joints we are reviewing on our 10 Auckland burger joints at Spark...and wowser!

$5 beers deserve a mention for sure

But the burger!!

It'll dill you up for a day. I got the kiwi as i feel beetroot and egg is a mist and my o my what a mighty feast I had. Great tasting too. Toppings are all good and the meat was legendary!!!
Miss Kiki
Had a cheesey angus tonight and tried some of the bluey.
I didn't realise before ordering that the burgers are MASSIVE.
The patty is really tasty and they have a good deal on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday burger, chips and beer for $20.
A nice way to start your week. I will probably be back.
Lyvie
I had golden prawn cutlets and a Texas BBQ burger. I was disappointed with the golden prawn cutlets because they we're about the size of rolling my pinky finger. The burger however was huge! The meat was great in taste and texture, but the bread of my burger was dry and crumbly like the kind of bread that has been stored in the fridge too long.
Gorgeous_mojo
We went here for a burger fix. The taste for a burger however was a little disappointing as meat is quite dry for it's price as the restaurant says Gourmet burger to expectations are high as you can always get a cheaper good tasting burger. The staff was in a rush and not very friendly answering our questions about the menu.
Bianca Lazar
Totally edible, and good range of beers on... but not coming her again.

Burger was indeed massive, bun perfect fresh and toasted, meat was tasty... but a burger drowned in sweet chill sauce, does not a jalepeno burger make- so disappointed on that front.

Friendly service a plus though.

Came here last weekend and its a Good burger place! Their serving were hyuuuge. Almost couldn't finish it. You could feel the originality in their burger as it is made according to their style. Previously there were reviews that the service was bad.... but I could confirm that perhaps on non-peak period, the service is good. The waitress even offered me another bottle of cold water when my bottle is empty. The $5 beer is only for bottles only though, which could have been better if they could serve tap beer for that price! Otherwise good place to hangout (during non-peak hours)

What a great burger/beer place! Came here for a late lunch and was very surprised. I ordered the chicken/bacon/avocado burger and it was huge! Service was super friendly and quick too! Would definitely recommend as a great burger place to visit! Sit outside on a nice day and enjoy! :)
Mike Clark
Awesome food and great deal of $20 burger beer and fries ! Now our weekly lunch spot... haven't been disappointed yet!
Diogo Reck
Very disappointed about this place. They say the Burger is gourmet and high quality, but it's just more expensive than great chain stores, without reasonable gain in quality.

Venison is one of my favourite meats, and the patty was dry and small, and the bun was just average, equal or worst than you can find in any supermarket.
Ellynn
Ive been walking around Viaduct ever since I got here and I have been wanting to try this place out. Good thing I finally got a chance! Awesome decision. All of our order were okay. Love the Shrimp sticks and I got the hash brown. The aoili with it was so good. 5$ beer was good too. Its one of those hang out places. The food could be better but oh well.
The Burger Man
Absolutely amazing! You pay a tiny little bit more for your burger than what you would pay at maccas or burger King but you get such good value for your money. Super huge, super tasty! Highly recommended! Definitely going there again!

Went there again for today on the 17th July and happy yet again with my burger. Due to being so extremely satisfied the last time I got my wife to enjoy a steak burger. Best burgers in the universe! Forget any other takeaway burgers. These are the best! The 200g meat patties appear to be made from real mince! Not that fake processed rubbish that you get everywhere else and taste like real meat!

Ate here a few days ago for lunch. Came in with no greeting and the waitress behind the counter (black hair) was just relentlessly staring at me which I found a bit off putting. placed my order and proceeded to wait for my food which came out at an expected rate. The blond girl brought me my burger and was pretty cheerful and of much help when I asked for some water. She even brought me some tomato sauce without prompting her. As I was waiting however I was watching the black haired waitress and how she was working. She was extremely short with customers and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She only gave 1 smile to a lady who paid and left, but that was more of a "ok now get out" smile. Not cool and extremely poor service on her part. As for the food. The burger was great, as always, but the chips fell short. They were undercooked and had no seasoning on them which was a let down.

Although I have been here many times and love the burgers, I will certainly not be going back there again when that black haired waitress is on shift. I don't need that negativity when I am on a break.

For what you pay, the burgers are absolutely huge. There's lots of vegetarian burgers to choose from. Had the corn fritter which was really tasty. Fries were average. Would come back for a burger and drinks!

What is a gourmet burger? I guess I figured that bit out with the fantastic burger I ate here. A nice place with very friendly owners who interact with everyone who walks in. The chilly chicken burger had some great flavours and interestingly spicy sauce laced around the multiple chicken pieces that were nicely char grilled. A pretty large burger to look at, but then it disappears quick after the first bite. Their brewed beer was also quite invited and I chose the apple cider, which tasted pretty good as well. All in all, I liked the food there and would go back when the cravings arise again.

This place has been overwhelmingly disappointing. I began with placing my order for one gourmet kiwi burger, a wild pork burger an order of fries and side of aioli (which they charge you an extra 2$ for). First of all the burgers cost 16$ each which is more than I have ever paid for a burger and these did not include a side. Secondly I asked if I could get a bun without seeds which they didn't have and offered no alternative solution, I should have left at that point but asked if I could have two bottom halves instead of the seedy top and they reluctantly agreed only after asking if another burger would be ordered where they could use the other top. We tried to split the bill which again they were reluctant to do but finally obliged. We were pretty excited still for burgers which must be amazing as the price was quite high. We first received our fries with no aioli when we asked for it they said we didn't order- which I am 100% certain we did. I said forget about it at this point as really paying an extra 2$ for aioli is a bit steep anyways. Then our burgers arrived, giant buns with a burger patty that filled about 30% of the bun size (see pictures) these burgers were mediocre at best and I can definitely say I'd take a Big Mac over that burger any day. We will never return here and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I completely understand why no one else was in the restaurant.

DO NOT COME HERE DURING LUNCHTIME, OR IF THEY ARE BUSY.

1/5 Service
Waited for at least one hour for our burgers. One or two arrived early, and my friends had finished theirs by the time the rest of us got ours. We had to ask them where our burgers were at least twice. The chef and a waitress had a couple of big fights, yelling at each other while all customers could hear.

1.5/5 Food
Food wasn't even that nice. My chicken satay burger had dry bland chicken in it. Only saved by the sauce but even the satay sauce wasn't that nice. Too tangy. I've definitely had way better burgers elsewhere. The only good thing is it was big and I was starving after waiting over an hour for one burger.

They seriously need to sort their stuff out if they want this burger joint to work.

Came here for lunch in a group of 6 on a Friday and the restaurant was packed. It's quite a small restaurant even though they have indoor and outdoor seatings so you have to get here before the lunch time rush if you want to have a seat.

Service: 0/10
Service was extremely shocking! One of the waitresses that work there is the worst waitress I have ever dealt with. We asked for a bottle of water after we have been seated for around 20-30 minutes and she was really rude as if we were annoying her.
We waited for our food for 1 hour and never came so we went and asked the waitress when should we expect our food and she said "soon". So we went back to our table and waited further, 10 minutes later only two burgers came. By the time the two of us have finished our burgers, there were still no sign of the rest of the burgers. It seems they have mixed up their orders since some People that arrived after us have already had their food. After waiting for 1 hr 40 minutes we went to check on the food again and the waitress lost her patience and yelled at us. She completely lost her cool. We were extremely disappointed at their service and they did not warn us about how long the wait would be. There is no excuse for a waitress to lose their manners to any customers just because we wanted to know where are burgers are. It's very fair to make a complaint when you have had to wait for 1 hr and 40 minutes and we did not receive any sort of warnings or updates from the staff there. Unfortunately we couldn't just walk out since we have already paid for or burgers. The staff there are extremely unprofessional. Even the chief in the kitchen who looks like the owner lost his cool on his staff when they asked how long the wait would be. What does he expect? He opened a restaurant by the water front, one of the busiest locations in the CBD, of course they will be slammed at peak hour!? Maybe they should have hired another chief to cater for the lunch rush?
They were no sorry or what so ever.

DO NOT COME HERE ON YOUR LUNCH BREAK.

Food:
4/10
Ordered satay chicken burger and the chicken had no seasoning. It was pretty average. The only positive is that the burger is massive!

Definitely recommend the falafel burger, it was one of the best we have tried. But definitely not worth 1 hr 40 minutes for it.

Went to this place on tuesday. Walked in, girl at the counter's face was not very pleasant, like shes been having a bad day. She wasnt helpful and very rude while talking to me and my friend. Ordered a chicken and beef burger and potato chips. Chips came, they wernt very nice, was a bit soggy and the oil that they used was old(you can just tell). Then the burgers came, thought they'd have more life to them but the burgers were plain, like a kid made them. No taste, the chicken was a bit rubbery, dry in the mouth, the bread was not very good. And my friend had a upset tummy due to the beef patty. Rang them the next day to complain but the guy(the owner) was also rude saying that they have not had a complaint(well theres always a first for everything) and rudely asked my friend what she wanted from him by ringing him and telling him all that stuff. I do not recommend this place, yes beer is cheap, go ahead. But if you guys are buying/eating their food and using their service, dont bother. Poor service and poor quality food.

So there I was just another Friday afternoon taking a stroll through town when something caught my eye ( and thankfully it did ) I noticed a little burger place with $5 beer, so naturally I went in to scope the menu out and whilst doing so I noticed some REALLY BIG BURGERS nom nom, So big infact the people eating inside were using knives and forks to consume them. So I sat down with a menu whilst I waited for my associate to join me. The decision wasn't easy as they had a really good selection of burgers to choose from. I went with the chilli chicken burger. It was $14.50 which is what I would normally pay for a "gourmet" burger combo at somewhere like McDonald's. What a great burger it was very satisfying, great atmosphere being down by the viaduct harbour with lots of strange people behaviour to observe ( the drunks are the best they are crazy! ) Service was fantastic, highly recommend especially if you work at Zomato as it is nice and close to the Zomato office.

The burgers are huge!!! You certainly can't complain about being hungry when you leave! Had the Chilli Jalapeno burger, it was delicious and the $5 beer to go with it was a bargain! One of the guys with us had the wrong burger arrive and the staff correctly quickly his order and had his burger at the table in no time.

Great relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a Friday lunch time beer & burger.
Realistic Reviews
Gourmet Burgers & Brew is a small outlet nestled on the Quay Street face of Princes Wharf. Just around the corner from Provedor, it contends 'happy hour' with $5 beers, and provides a variety of burgers and sides. It's ambiance is a convergence of bar and eatery, with an open window kitchen.

Service: 7/10
- Given menus on entry, however as there is no table service, counter order is required. Service prompt and efficient, not overly friendly but satisfactory.

Food: 4/10
- Wide variety of burgers, including a few interesting options. Extremely overpriced; $6.5 for majority of sides- excluding sauce. Though tomato sauce is at the counter, a side of aioli is $2, as is most other sauces. Aioli was store bought.
Kumara fries were too sweet, a guess would be Mc Cain's oven fries?
Burgers poorly thought out. Buns significantly larger than patty. Beef patty average, though veggie patties were impressive. Lack of sauce on burger. Mesclun used as opposed to Butter lettuce or iceberg (Possibly a preference, but expected at price range).
Would recommend that owners look at competition for inspiration. Burgerfuel, Handmade, Burger Burger etc.

Final comment: 11/20
- When great burger joints are easier to find than ever, below average doesn't cut it. Would suggest a serious look at quality and re evaluate product decisions.

Good service, nice area, great big burger and average fries in a cup. Would go back again in hopes of a better burger, plenty to choose from.

A great selection of burgers - loads of different options to choose from. Each burger is huge. They're not stingy with their toppings, as so many restaurants can be.

I chose the ostrich burger, which was juicy, and topped with cheese and a sweet tomato relish.

The service was a bit slow, but the tasty burger made up for it!
Definitely give them a try if you're a burger lover!

We entered the establishment and the staff in charge was polite and efficient in taking our orders. I ordered the prawn cutlet as a started and the sauces, salad and prawns were amazing. But I probably shouldn't have because when my snapper burger arrives, it was huge. I could barely eat half of it but did anyway. The fish was average but it didn't taste as fresh as I would like and the sauce on it was sweet which didn't do it for me. My partner had the "cheesey angus" burger and he loved it. Maybe burgers are meant to be made with just chicken/beef/lamb.
Rojas
Huge burgers! I came here with friends and had the chilli burger with fries. The burger is huge compared to most places, while a little too heavy on the chilli sauce, which causes it to drip, the chicken matched well with the salad and sauce. The fries were pretty generic, not to oily or over fried. Definitely worth a visit if you're hungry and in the city as the portions are quiet large!
Shannon
Quick service. But was not overly impressed with the burgers. My partner ordered the kiwi classic and I the creamy Camembert. I felt the burger bun was way too big for the size of the meat patty. It made the burger hard to eat and it was also not a very nice bun. These burgers would be greatly improved by matching the bun size to the patty,. They were quite bland for 'gourmet burgers'. But I really enjoyed the hash brown bites they were perfect and crispy.
Jaffa
For a reasonably quick burger joint this place is the best! Burgers are huge but with not too big a bun, so you can actually taste the flavours! Have been a few times but this time went for the chicken supreme! No need for sides required though a beer went down nicely.
Not the best vibe to the place but you can sit in the sun in their extended outdoor area which is nice! Reasonable prices, but do expect to wait 15mins or so for your burger... But I don't mind as long as it's fresh!!

I didn't know anything about this place before I stumbled into it... When my burger arrived I was amazed 😱🍔 These things are huge... The size of a small dinner plate in circumference. It's hard to see in the pic but definitely a place I'd visit again. Super tastey and a cool selection of weirder burgers on the menu... ostrich anyone? 😂
Athena
Had food there just recently, the burger as other foodies have mentiones are large. I had a beef burger, the beef was cooked well. However, i did find it too messy to enjoy and the beef pattie was too small for the bread bun. The fries came in a basket, a latge quantity, chunky but less crispy than I would have liked. The service was prompt and pleasant but the food sadly was mediocre.

Bloody excellent. Big burgers, great beers.

If you have a problem it wont be with the food. Already planning my next visit. #5dollarbeers
Pretty massive burgers, with a interesting selection of flavours. I went for the ostrich burger - which is a little gamey, like duck, so watch out if you aren't into those flavours. Overall good atmosphere and vibe. Drinks prices ($5 beers) are very reasonable for its location. The only niggle I had was that the chips came out under-seasoned and without sauce or aioli. Apart from that would definitely visit again to try more of the range!

If you're needing a big bite and feeling like a burger, this would be the right option for you!

We went for the Kiwi Supreme, Cajun Chicken with added bacon, and wedges topped with cheese, bacon and sour cream (gluttonous, we know!) The Kiwi reigned supreme as you can't really go wrong with that combo- the tasty Angus patty, egg, beetroot- it all worked well. The Cajun had a kick to it which was great, and the chicken was cooked well. Glad we added the extra bacon to it as it would have felt slightly lacklustre without. Wedges were moreish due to the huge serving, but were quite standard and nothing special- sour cream could have been more proportional to the wedges.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and happy. Diners around us (and us included!) seemed to all be enjoying their meal. Food was well priced for the size and quality as ingredients were fresh- very generous on the bacon! Not quite gourmet but we will say the burgers are pretty good. Might not be rushing back but don't regret going, and we may visit again!
