Been here three times and each experience was superb. Set back a little from the waterfront the food is genuine and beautifully prepared and presented. The fact that the restaurant is full of local ex pat Filipino's speaks to it's reputation, well worth a visit if interested in this style of cuisine.

Nice seating area with adequate space and clean bathrooms located in Auckland CBD just near the viaduct, the food arrived in a timely manner. For the price and location we got a decent amount of food the bill totalled $100(2people) for 2 halo halos a large sisig meant to share some extra rice and bbq skewers with rice. This may be viewed as pricey to some but the food was absolutely fantastic the sisig took me back to when I was young enjoying a nice warm sisig after basketball nice texture and great flavour , the skewers were crispy but at the same time still juicy. The ube in the halo halo was very flavour ful and was a fantastic way to cool down after the meal. There was quite a bit of ice but the flavor was there once mixed . Overall a very good experience I would recommend it to those who would like to enjoy a nice Filipino meal.only critique is serving portion relative to price but overall can't complain as the food was delicious and for the location most restaurants are within the same price range

Would recommend for special occasions as it’s definitely not a cheap eat. Joined a wedding lunch and had a lot of tasty dishes at buffet so decided to go there on our own. Had Pork rib, sweet and sour fish and the beef KALDERETA. LOVED the BEEF. The portion of the beef could be bigger. As comparing to other 2, it felt a bit small.

Excellent food. We ordered four mains to share. Chicken and cashew, pork belly, seafood and beef stew. Were outstanding, for Kiwis in a Phillipino restaurant easy to order and no disappointments. Finished off with purple smooth ice cream. Would strongly recommend.

We ordered 3 dishes. The first one was the Pork Bicol Express which was the main letdown. The taste was good however the pork was mostly fat and there were barely any meat pieces so my meal was basically pork fat in coconut sauce with chili. It was $26 and felt like a huge rip off. Our other order was the tocilog. It was ok, but nothing special... The Halo Halo was good. Price overall was too expensive for the quality of food served.

We used to love boracay as the first few times impressed us with great food. It used to be our “go to” filipino food but lately the sisig was always a miss. It used to be really really good. Now, from the looks of it, it seemed different. It’s mostly scrambled egg with bits of pork. The dinuguan has also become dry. <br/><br/>The service is still good though. Just sad that we won’t be coming back because of this. The prices aren’t cheap so not really worth it. We even came back 3 times after we realized the sisig changed but it never redeemed itself. <br/><br/>Just wondering, has the chef changed this year or maybe the last 6 months?

First time having Phillipino food, we had a pata which is crispy pork hock to share and also had a small beef kare-kare which is peanuty thick sauce with beef brisket as a main. We also had corn soup and calamari. All were very delicious and full of flavour especially the sauces that come with it. It was on the expensive side but well worth.

This place just recently opened and I guess I was one of the last Filipino here in Auckland to try it, most of the Filipino I know tried it and raved about it but now its my time to give them a shot. We just passed by this place after our trip from Waiheke, we were quite hungry and this place was in the vicinity so we did not think twice whether we will try another place. We did not have any booking at all and it was a weekend so we just rock in there hoping we to have some unbooked seats.

Whenever I come here to dine in with family I have a lovely time - things are a bit over priced but the location, service and mass amounts of left overs definitely makes up for it.<br/>Although this afternoon when I picked up my large ($39) pork sisig takeaway I was heavily heavily disappointed.. the portioning is just crazy and I feel like they must’ve given me a small size and charged me for the large. In no way would the takeaway they gave me fill 2-3 people (dinner sizing) at all - it barely filled just myself. I also asked for medium heat but the chilli was just scooped to the side meaning the whole thing was without heat except for one spoonful which would’ve been crazy hot - I feel like they should have mixed the chilli in themselves instead of just putting it to the side. I know the dish already comes served without rice as my family have ordered this during dinner service - and we never order the large we order the small and I feel like this would have been a similar portion. I don’t know, I love this place from the few times I’ve dined in but this takeaway has really just ruined it for me I can’t believe this cost me $39 đŸ˜Ș

Came here on Mothers Day and honestly, it was pretty average. For us, personally, the waiting time on the food wasnt really that bad because we came in quite early, before the Mothers day rush came in. However I did see other tables waiting for a long time, non Filipino customers too, and I felt 2nd hand shame at what was probably their first experience of Filipino food and having to wait for ages and get grumpy at the staff. Anyways, what was annoying for us was probably the incompetence of the wait staff. Some of the dishes and drinks we ordered NEVER CAME and it was so frustrating even trying to get any service to ask where our missing stuff was. I ordered chicken bbq that didnt come and sisig to take away that never came... My boyfriend ordered drinks and had to ask 3 times for his drinks because they kept being forgotten. Its disappointing because I came to this restaurant the first time it opened and it was literally the best Filipino restaurant in Auckland... Now the service is ridiculous and the food is pretty different too. Sisig was WAY TOO SALTY, sinigang and dinuguan was bland, and my leche flan for dessert was so dense and lumpy. We spent over $300+ and ended up regretting choosing Boracay for such an important day for my mum and spending all that money. I empathise with the restaurant as I have trained and worked in hospitality for over 8 years and I know that mothers day is the most busy day for restaurants but that was probably the most disorganised Mothers day lunch I've ever experienced.

Came here with my bf it was his first time in a filipino restaurant its a bit disappointing when we were asking about the chicken bbq i asked the lady server about the portion of bbq chicken she is not very sure of everything she ask the lady in cashier she mention that the bbq chicken was on stick and large order was on 8-10 stick then chicken bbq arrive . It was a half chicken chopped not on stick . I don’t nt know what kind of sauce was with it but it doesnt complement the taste at all it was too sweet chicken was not totally cooked as bbq . It was a roast chicken i hope they didn’t put sauce in chicken. Because its not good at all. Ordered camaron rebusado it was not served with sauce but it says in the menu with sweet chilli , it was a very sad meal . Chicken sisig was alright but my bf said its salty , only thing that makes my bf impressed was the. Halohalo i hope you teach ur staff how to describe menu advice from a server :) thanks

I've been to Boracay on many occasions. If you want some authentic filo food. This is a must visit spot. The sisig here is one of my favorite. You can also order a jug of ice tea and their halo-halo is great too.

If you want authentic Filipino food, look no further than Boracay at the Viaduct Harbour.<br/>The wait staff was very prompt and the food was delivered even quicker.<br/>We had a fairly big group (7 people) and ordered 4 mains with an appetiser and a drink to go alongside. <br/>The steamed siomai wasn’t that great and it didn’t have the traditional taste and texture that you would get from dimsums. But the mains hit it out of the park! The meats in each dish were cooked very well; particularly, the pork lechon and pork adobo, they were BOTH very tender and tasted amazing!<br/>Often regarded as the national dish of the Philippines, the adobo is a must try when you come to Boracay!<br/>To top off the night we had a halo halo and a leche flan. Both were sweet and hit the spot without overdoing it.<br/>Lastly, they have wheelchair accessibility! Way to go, Boracay! Tagay!

Love coming here when I'm craving Filipino food. The Lechon Kawali is amazing. I've been several times and keep ordering the same things because they are so good, but I do want to try more of the menu. I think I went on a Saturday once and they had the disco lights going in true Pinoy fashion which made my group laugh. The owners are super friendly and it feels like you are transported to the Philippines when you're inside.

For me, it wasn't really special. I had high expectations mainly because of their location? I'm not sure but I've heard good things about this restaurant. Although, I must say that there are better Filipino restaurants out there. It was also pretty expensive and the serving size was just... enough. The restaurant is spacious and they do have a different atmosphere here compared to other Filipino restaurants. One dish that left me a good impression is their sinigang. It was very delicious and the level of sourness was to my liking. The pork was also tender. Their customer service is good. The girl behind the counter was really nice. They also sell red horse and other Filipino alcoholic beverages.<br/><br/>For me, it's not too bad to give it a try but I personally won't come here if you're on a budget, just cook some Filipino dishes at home.

Came in for a reservation only to find out that they've gotten my name wrong and that they've put me under the waiting list instead of the booking list. The (male) owner told to come back half an hour later and refused to listen when I tried to explain that I have called in to book a table. I had to wait for another person dining with me to come in and claim our table. The owner, at first, told me again to leave and come back again in half an hour in a very condescending manner until the person I was dining with, who decided to put up an arrogant facade, talked to him. He apologised to the other person but not to me and continued to ignore me the entire time whilst coming back multiple times to try to accomodate my companion. The food and the other staff were fine, but I just didn't like how the owner showed a clear biased treatment towards his customers.

The female owner's very rude, we were running 10 min late in our lunch booking, she called us up although some of our family members were already there she was sharp that we were late. During the same day when we were asking for some 5 takeaway containers she said "why 5?". It's a shame because the staff were nice and thr male owner was really hospitable.

We went here when the restaurant was pretty new with a couple of the work crew. I thought the meat was quite scarce but still quite nice. My colleagues both ordered Pad Thai, the same as my dish, but ended up getting non traditional Pad Thai noodles and only one piece of small chicken piece each. When we complained, management was very responsive and were quick to assure is it would never happen again, didn't charge for two meals and insisted it wouldn't happen again. Despite it not being a great experience, I feel like this issue was handled as well as they could.

Loved Boracay Garden. Had the Adobo Chicken, Lechon Kawali and Pinakbet. Really enjoyed the cuisine and cooking. The Lechon Kawali was crispy deep fried pork served with Tamarind Sauce. Moist inside and a great crackling. Adobo chicken is also deliciously cooked. It was our first Pinakbet and loved it. The tamarind prawn paste sauce was excellent and suites our Malaysian tastebuds...<br/>Looking forward to come back to try out the Crispy Pata (pork hock) and Pork Sisag (crispy pork and chicken liver on a hotplate)... Highly recommended.

A very cultural Filipino restaurant at the Viaduct Harbour. The set up and theme is quite good especially the food presentation. Food is a bit pricey and only average portion. Taste is ok, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bookings recommended as the place could be a bit busy at times. Prompt service and clean establishment. Would love to try the other menus next time!

Whenever I go pass wyanard quarters I see this place and wished to visit once. The day at last came on a Friday afternoon with my colleagues. I wanted to try Phillipino food for such a long time.<br/>I ordered the famous Adobo chicken. It was so delicious. It was like a gravy with onion and soya sauce. The portion was good. But the place was too busy on that Friday afternoon. So be prepared whenever you plan.

First time to eat in a Filipino restaurant and it’s also my first time eating at Boracay Garden. For those Filipinos who’re missing Adobo, Sisig, Crispy Pata, and Sinigang, this is the place to go to. Such great ambiance and a very tidy place. As for the food, it’s an A+ for me (loved the Pork Sisig!). The service is superb as well. Our server’s name was Kevin, and he’s awesome, always checking if we needed anything. First time at Boracay & 3rd time eating at a Filipino restaurant. Our Filipino companion advised that it was very authentic with all the faves. <br/>We tried the beef with peanut sauce, crispy pork belly & chicken broth. They were all really good, but the chicken broth was a real stand out - like a tom yum soup without the spice. We also ordered rice (of course) and the asian veges - these were mainly cauli & broccoli but beautifully cooked.<br/>Varied drinks list with only a few wines by the glass. A couple of Filipino beers are available too.<br/>For desserts we tried HaloHalo & Turon. Both were pleasant enough but I’ve tried better elsewhere. <br/>Service was friendly. Well worth trying their massive communal table platters which are available for larger groups (Boodle Fight)

Great little place and very friendly owner. We go there often for work lunch and the service speed is pretty fast (which is important for us so we have time to take a walk by the Harbour lunch) recommend mee goreng for the lunch special. The portion is just nice and topped with salad.

My family came here on a Saturday night to meet friends. <br/><br/>What we ordered:<br/>Appetizer: Filipino spring roll<br/>Mains:<br/>Crispy pata (deep fried pork hock)<br/>Pinakbet (stir-fry vegies in shrimp paste sauce)<br/>Papaitan (bitter innards soup)<br/>Pork sisig<br/>Daing na bangus<br/>Desserts:<br/>Mais con Yelo<br/>Halo halo<br/>Banana turon<br/><br/>Yes, we ordered quite a lot and paid 244 dollars for 4 people, which was still a tad more expensive than other Filipino restaurants in Auckland. <br/><br/>Highlights:<br/>* Crispy pata did justice to its name- skin was indeed crispy while its meat was tender. Sauce wasn't too bad - though it could be better with more diced onions<br/>* Pinakbet's base sauce was an absolute drooler! The sweet and salty blend of shrimp paste was done to perfection.<br/>* Daing na bangus was big yet tasty from belly to meat. <br/><br/>Letdowns:<br/>* Pork sisig was bland<br/>* Halo halo did not have much in it. For its price of 12 dollars, I expected more ingredients. Ice was not finely shaved either. <br/><br/>They provided a singing duo to entertain the diners. My son loved their singing and even danced to some of their songs!<br/><br/>Staff were all friendly and attentive. Overall cleanliness was okay. However, their floor tiles need degreasing for diners' safety.

For a Filipino fix, I would recommend this place as it has a nice Filipino atmosphere, the service is a little slow but you can forgive them as the staff and the owners are really friendly and they offer a wide range of Filipino dishes. We went for dinner a couple of weeks ago and had the Pork Liempo and tried their Crispy Pata for the first time. I must say their Crispy Pata is better than Turo-Turo Filipino Cafe or Gold Ribbon in terms of the taste. The Pork Liempo seems to be our go-to dish and we never fail to order as the taste from the marinade is authentic and the pork is tender. The price could be a hit or miss as some of the dishes are reasonable but the other dishes can be lower for what is it worth.<br/>

We tried pork sisig , pork sinigang and Bicol express . Bicol express was just amazing ! Coconut milk based with a bit of heat. Sinigang was a soup with tamarind . Was very soothing . <br/>For Dessert 🍹 we tried buko pandang - this is amazing . U can’t go wrong with a buko pandang . And we tried maja Blanca - not a fan . Then the mango (overpriced) . <br/>Customer service was very good. Overall very good experience . Kinda over priced hence the 4.5 instead of 5/5 .

Ambiance: Situated in the upscale Viaduct Harbour is Boracay Garden with it's fiesta like decor. I am not very keen decor to be honest. The ambiance feels dated and poorly lit even in midday. However there are heaps of sitting available that could accomodate big groups.<br/><br/>Food: The menu showcases traditional Filipino delicacies that you would usually find in Filipino restaurants around Auckland. Nothing new that would be considered a signature dish for Boracay Garden. Flavours are passable and quite bland in my opinion. Menu and price wise they'll be in tough competition with another Filipino restaurant located at K Road. I have heard various experiences with Boracay Garden and I really wanted to be proven wrong but much to my dismay it seems like my friends are proven right. <br/><br/>Service: Friendly and efficient waitstaff that will assist you with a smile. Wait time is superb. We ordered a set menu and it arrived in about 20 minutes after the waitstaff has taken our order. <br/><br/>Verdict: Fairly priced. Ordinary Menu. Passable flavours. Sadly not enough positives to lure me back.

Took my boyfriend to this place for lunch today. We had the pork sisig for sharing, pork BBQ and Shanghai rolls. We both couldnt stop praising how good the pork BBQ were and even though it was his first time to try the pork sisig, he liked it as well. The Shanghai rolls were as good as they could get. The only downside to this place is the price but I guess for having a location near Viaduct I can let it pass. We will definitely come back to try more of the food. We got our eye on the chicken BBQ. I hope next time they would have the buko pandan since today they didnt have it.

Went here for lunch today with the Mrs. I have only tried Filipino cuisine once before, so I was keen to try it again. The food at this restaurant was amazing! I had been skeptical to try the pork sisig dish before, but when I tried it today I was blown away by the different delicious flavours. Also tried their pork BBQ on a skewer....such a delicious dish!! I find myself wanting to go back there right now and order more of it haha. Will definitely be visiting here again soon. The price is reasonable, the service was good and the food was amazing.

Visited for dinner a couple weeks ago. Love the atmosphere & decor. Feels like you're somewhere tropical! For two - we ordered the Karekare, Lechon Kawali & Halo halo. I enjoyed all the dishes but felt what we ordered was quite heavy. The food was authentic. Lechon tasted deep fried but not at all oily. I would probably recommend going in a bigger group as you can order more variety. My boyfriend and I felt sooooo full afterwards. Service was great.

I was really hungover and craving Filipino sinigang soup which is my favourite hangover cure, so I decided to come here with my mum! <br/><br/>I like the set up of the restaurant, with the wall of Boracay at the back. We ordered the pork sinigang, mixed pancit and the banana Turon to share. I liked the sinigang but my mum said it was too sour for her, however I personally like my sinigang quite sour. I wish it had more vegetables in it though. The mixed pancit was good too, mum liked it and said it was authentic. The banana Turon which is deep fried green banana and jackfruit in a darkened brown sugar, caramel type sauce was ok.. we didn't like this one too much, the portion was huge but it wasn't sweet enough, maybe next time we'll try the halo halo!<br/><br/>Customer service was excellent and the owner is really friendly!

There's only one thing i liked from this place, and that is their crispy pata but a bit overpriced. Actually most of their dishes are. The taste was okay and not bad but I just dont think it's worth the price. Also 1 waitress is a bit rude, while the other one is very nice. I think i wont be coming back anytime soon.

One of the best Filipino restaurant I've been too. well , I'm not aware of the others yet but it's one of my favourite. Can't remember the actual names but you could see in the photos I've upload . Had the minced chicken and the beef covered with peanut butter sauce. The beef covered with peanut butter sauce is the best dish in my opinion. So go and give it a try <br/><br/>Plus, if you're looking for a very authentic Asian feeling, Boracay gives you that feeling . Really reminded me of my hometown. Interesting set up. Cozy and love their cutlery set too.

Been here for the 1st time during my husband's Birthday. A lot of people were there during that time and We saw only 2 staff serving here and there, too bad we were not even entertained (but I understand because of the staff and customer ratio) But still, we were satisfied with the foods served and the price is affordable and worth it.

The food was amazing! I could see people from different races come to eat their sizzling sisig, which was one of the best! 2 staff taking orders for the whole place. The ambience is superb. Gets crowded at exactly 12nn to 1pm however, the service was consistent. Customers doesnt have to wait long enough for their food. :)

Been here every now and then keep coming back for their pork sisig which is true to the taste and portion is great! Their pork sinigang tastes really authentic, the soup really tastes like that of a freshly cooked tamarind, and with all year round sitaw and talong, so Filipino!<br/><br/>Now, even that i had some dietary changes which restricts me from eating any meat products, i recently ordered a meatless version of pancit canton which was cooked and tasted very good! <br/><br/>Halo halo is also a star!

A nice place located in the CBD. The restaurant tends to get busy even on lunch time so make sure to book a table. Food, a little pricey but its fine considering the location and because they make up on the quality and quantity of a food serving. Many non-Pinoys who ate there always order the sisig and I wonder why. Maybe if I get the chance to dine again in Boracay, I'll surely try their sisig.

Went there with my Pinoy friend, so she could show me what to order. <br/><br/>Food was good. We ordered Pork Adobo, Kare-Kare, and Pancit. <br/>Total cost was $65. <br/>I was satisfied with the food, even though the Pancit portion was pretty small for that price.  <br/><br/>I give 3 points because I think the waitress was quite rude. <br/>My friend has finished eating but I haven't. <br/>The waitress just came to our table and tidied up all empty dishes WHILE I WAS STILL EATING , leaving one plate of Adobo and my plate. <br/><br/>The restaurant was pretty empty (not even 50% tables were occupied) and the waitress just wanted to kick us out  :(

We ate on Valentines because it was my mother in law's bday. waited for 1 hr. and the sizzling chicken sisig was spicy, we were not asked if we want it spicy, so my son didnt eat anything. after waiting for 1 hr. also the food comes 15 mins apart. we didnt get to have dessert because we didnt want to wait another 30 mins or more. Never coming back. The people are nice the ambiance was good but lack of staffing,time management and organization. They were all panicking and seemed so overwhelmed with all the customers coming considering it was Valentines they should have prepared for it.

My husband and I were visiting from Christchurch and had dinner with Filipino friends in Boracay Garden Restaurant on January 4. At last, here's a delightful Filipino restaurant, the best in New Zealand. We ordered a package for 12 people (there were 11 adults and a 7 year old) - two pots each of crispy pata, sisig, chop suey, bulalo, three cute authentic pots of rice and an extra order of tortang talong. Everyone was impressed and contented with the quality of the taste of food we ordered, talagang napakasarap! We took home some of the bulalo, sisig and crispy pata because we couldn't finish the generous servings. The owners, Stuart and Marjorie were so pleasant and even the staff who served us. I will strongly recommend it to our kababayan in Christchurch. Cheers!

Finally a great Filipino restaurant in Auckland! My dining experience here was amazing, the food we ordered was 'true to the taste' authentic Filipino food made with love - it took me back to my homeland. We ordered Kaldereta that had a hint of spiciness and lots of flavour, it was great for my partner because it was not too spicy for him. The crispy tapas were a plentiful serving and we even ended up taking some in a doggy bag! Was certainly crispy and the sauces that came with it were just like how my parents make it - my partner loved the tapas, they were his favourite. We also had halo halo for dessert! For my partner's first experience of filipino cuisine, this was an excellent place for it. We are definitely coming back!

What I ordered: Honey Chicken and Pancit<br/>Bill: $35<br/><br/>The restaurant had a lovely theme to it and the service was neutral.  I had a takeaway order and had to wait around 10 minutes for it, which isn't that bad. The size of  my order was pretty impressive, especially the rice. The only thing is I was disappointed with the chicken because it was still raw. I sliced it open and saw pink spots in more than half of my chicken, so I ended up having to cook again at home. One thing good about the chicken was the sauce, it surprised my taste buds in a good way. The pancit had flavour but a  little bit salty, which made it unbalanced.

Came here to celebrate our Filipino friend's birthday. It was our first time here so came with an empty stomach and open mind. We ordered the ginataan na manok, beef kare-kare, dinuguan and crispy Pata. The portions were fairly large which was good as we were all sharing. Our waiter was extremely attentive and polite. He took our orders quickly and also informed us that if you order a few dishes to share you get 7 cups of rice complimentary which was more than enough. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded all expectations. We were all extremely full and satisfied at the end. To top off a wonderful evening we even managed to speak to the owner as we left complimenting him on his establishment and food. He was so friendly and chatted to us for quite a while. Looking forwards to coming back with family and friends<br/><br/>Visit Two: came back here with the same friend as I've been craving this food since the first time I visited. Once again this place did not fail to impress. We ordered the Diang Bangus, Pork Sisig and Pork Liempo. It was absolutely delicious. The Sisig was sizzling and clean tasting, the bangus was crispy and perfectly seasoned and the liempo was tender and the flavours were simply amazing. This time we also got dessert, the Leche Flan and Banana Turon. The turon came out warm and crispy. The brown sugar caramel was so good and added another texture to the dish. The Leche flan though was outstanding. It was favoured with orange and was soooooo silky and creamy. I just wanted to kept eating it.<br/><br/>I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Just simply delicious to the point where you want to eat more and more. And the portions are massive. Seriously. Expect to suffer from a food coma when you leave here. Quite simply our new go-to for Pinoy food. Thank you Boracay.  I think this was my favourite. :) The rest of our meals were also in good portions. A fantastic Filipino restaurant in Auckland. I would say that it's the best Pinoy restaurant in Auckland, but based on the competition, that seriously wouldn't do Boracay justice. It isn't a great Fili restaurant - it's a great restaurant period. <br/>The food is absolutely divine - authentic tastes and cooked to perfection. Talking to the owner, it quickly becomes apparent why they have perfected what so many restaurants have failed to do. Although relatively new to the Auckland restaurant scene, they have been running successful Fili restaurants overseas and, tired of the sub-par offerings here, they decided to bring one of their top chefs over and open up a restaurant in the heart of the city. Crowds don't lie and every time we've been here, the place has been bustling with Pinoy and other foodies alike. <br/>The only thing that stopped us from awarding 5 stars is that the service needs some slight tweaking, but that is kinda expected with new restaurants. As other reviews have touched upon, some of the staff can come across as a bit unfriendly (it's just a case of smiling a bit more and actually engaging with the customers instead of sullenly placing the dishes down on the table in silence) and they can be slightly inattentive (each time we've dined, we've been left waiting to be seated for some time), but again, this is something that could easily be remedied. The owner, chefs and remaining staff are all super friendly and conversational, adding to the experience. <br/>Easily the #1 Filipino dining experience in Auckland. Hands down.<br/><br/>Little tummy: Thank God we have finally discovered a Fili restaurant that actually does Pinoy food justice! We have been through the bad and the ugly trying to find the good... and in Boracay we have miraculously found it! (after the places we've been, we were starting to believe that good Pinoy restaurants in Auckland shared the same realm as leprechauns or unicorns). The food here is insane! Like not in a Donald Trump way, but just simply delicious to the point where you want to eat more and more. And the portions are massive. Seriously. Dined here for dinner and must say it best Filipino restaurant in Auckland by far compare to others. Authentic dishes and packed with traditional flavours. We ordered the package 2 for 5 people and we were very happy with portion size and quality of food. Ambiance was okay, nice theme all around. We really enjoyed the live band on a Saturday night and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Overall good value if you go with group of people as they allow splitting bills too which was handy.

Authentic Filipino food. Great customer service. The waitress was friendly and good rapport. Food was served quick and hot. I love the pork papaitan, reminds me of Bulacan cooking of my mom in law. The pork sisig is a must-try! Pair it with laing - delicious. Price wise is a little high but considering its location I think its understandable. Will come again for another round soon.

Came here in July. Food was ok - nothing special but not bad. Portion size is quite generous I thought. Staff we dealt with when we came wasn't very friendly. Facial expression was too serious and not smiling and welcoming. Dontmind coming back again but only if convenient.

We made a reservation on a weekend; we arrived on time and our table was ready.  The staff who looked after us was very nice and friendly and didn't rush us with our order.   So contrary to some reviews I saw on FB.  I'm glad our experience was on the good side.<br/>We opted to try the crispy pata, pork and chicken sisig, pakbet and asado.  I was surprised with the crispy pata - the size was really good for its price!!!   I think this was my favourite. :)  The rest of our meals were also in good portions.  Overall,  we had a good dining experience and will definitely come back!

This was the first time I went to a filipino restaurant and I had a very pleasant surprise. I went with my Pinay girl friend. The ambience was amazing and very different from most restaurants here in Auckland. The people served us well  in spite of the heavy work load (2-3 staff only for a lot of people). Most importantly, the food was awesome and was served pretty fast. They must have used very fresh and real ingredients from philippines. I had Steamed siomai, sinigang na bangus, pork sisig and pinakbet and all of them were super awesome! I highly recommend this place!

Its been a couple of times we visited Boracay Garden and I am truly amazed how the quality of food and service has improved since they opened. I am really impressed with the crispy pata. Taste, crispyness, serving size all worth  a try! The waiting time also improved a lot.<br/><br/>This is by far the best quality Sisig and Crispy Pata in Auckland!

This place is very good! I recommend this to anyone who likes filipino/asian cuisine. The food was amazing! They made my favourite dish, pancit, very very well. The service was 10/10. Ambience/Atmosphere 10/10. If you live in auckland, go their for a lovely filipino lunch or dinner.

Visited Boracay a few weeks ago with a friend and it was fantastic. The service was brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious, it was hard to know what to have as it all looked and smelt so good. It was also so well priced! I will certainly visit again for a lunch or dinner. Boracay would be a great place to bring the family too. Highly recommend!!

I'm a Filipino and I love authentic Filipino food so when I learned about this restaurant, I knew that I had to dine there!<br/><br/>I ordered my favourites being Kare Kare (Beef in Peanut Sauce w/ Shrimp Paste, Dinuguan (Pork Blood Stew), Pancit Palabok (Rice Noodle in Prawn Gravy) and Pork BBQ. Since these are my favourites, I am very particular of the taste and I was surprised that everything was good! Some of my friends went there before and said the food was just average so I guess it all depends on what you order. <br/><br/>It's a bit pricey for the serving size but will definitely come back and order the same dishes again!

I went to this restaurant with a friend for dinner and it's unfortunate it is located quite far from the main streets of city central. It was raining on the day and it was inconvenient walking to there from the car park in Queen Street. <br/><br/>The food was full of flavour; the singang soup base was so tangy and warm - best to quell the chills of the rainy day. The chicken barbecue was juicy and delicious although the temperature can be a bit more warm. Both of us had dessert and my friends Turon was delicious however, I didn't not have the same appreciation for mine as hers. The bilo-bilo had a weird smoky/burnt taste. My expertise in Filipino cuisine is very limited so I don't know if the authentic dish was suppose to be like this? Anyway, would rather have something else next time.<br/><br/>The service was great - the waiter was warm and welcoming. He overheard us talking about us being bloated and gave is complimentary green tea! Very very nice. <br/><br/>Putting a rating of 4.0 for a good experience. The price was as expected for a dinner course but would have hoped it would be lower <br/><br/>Definitely be back again.
