2nd time we have been here now and loved it just as much as the first time. Great staff. Great service. Value for money. Excellent food. Very yum. We will be back.

Top notch, really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and ease how to get there. Portions are big. We got a kebab platter for $60 for two and honestly has no chance of eating it all despite being hungry. Choice of kebabs and the meat was so tasty and tender. Chips and salad were perfect and the dips great. Good buzz around the place and if Turkish kebabs aren’t for you there are lots of other options nearby. Diverse clientele and would 100% come back. Would not find better .

came here during restaurant month for the 3 course meal. highlights were the grilled octopus, grilled skewers and the baklava. flavours were 👌, you can never go wrong with charcoal grilled meat. i was looking forward to tasting homemade hummus but unfortunately was really let down, even store bought hummus is better. flatbread too was dry and hard, possibly sitting out too long, not fresh? would go again just for the grilled skewers and baklava.

We had a team’s Christmas lunch at this restaurant today, and the food was delicious. Though there were very few options for vegan, Portion sizes were sufficient for one person.

Such a lovely, intimate spot for dinner! I have never really been one for Turkish food, but this place changed my mind so quick.. I keep coming back for more! The Manti and the slow cooked lamb are to die for. Highly reccomend!

Very tasty food 🤤 - big portions so it’s easy to share with the group! The waitress who served us did a really good job and was trying her hardest, but unfortunately didn’t know much about the dishes served or what they were made of (which was important to us because of dietary requirements). It was a bit hard to navigate the menu, so extra knowledge would’ve been helpful, but otherwise a good experience all around ~

Love this place! Everything is soooo delicious!!! Been there a few times and always great, big portions, cozy place, great location, incredibly tasty food! Here's how dolma with added lamb looks like:

Came here with my collective team tonight and ordered everything on the menu, hands down the food was flavorsome, great portion size, super affordable. The service was exceptional and the venue is a great space to hold groups of all sizes. Recommend trying this restaurant.

Came there for dinner with friends. The food was mostly delicious. Just one person complained that the falafel was dry. I had a salmon with cauliflower and baby potatoes 🥔 which was delicious. But the rumor about the head chef being 🇮🇳 are probably true. The service? This is a different story. Our waitress was as clueless as we could get. She knows nothing about the menu, and even when I asked for the only fish dish she didn't understand. The hosts were trying to move things along, but at some point we were told that they need the table. We left. It's not nice to spend money at a place where we are not wanted.

Good restaurant, the staff is amazing a lot of variety of food, seems all are delishuse food but my plate was so salty

This place was absolutely incredible 😍 went here for date night with my partner and we loved EVERYTHING we ordered! The fried chicken pieces were cooked to absolute perfection and the feasts were insane and SO worth the money, especially the chicken feast 🤤 we’ll definitely be back ASAP! The waiters were also very friendly and made us feel super welcome. Can’t wait to go back soon ☺️

The food was good but unfortunately for the price the quantity was less. We ordered feast- the pita in that was stale and the yogurt dip was very sour. I did like ottoman eggplant. Ordered zesty limonata with no zest which is mentioned on the menu🙄🙄🙄. The menu cards were covered in oil and food- even the cards got stuck to the table😂😂😂 and we had to pull it to be released🙄🙄<br/>

Restaurant Month Menu @ferizaskitchen and it was a royal Turkish dining experience 👑✨<br/><br/>We all went for the 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗸 / 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗯 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 for main course, it was served in traditional earthenware pot with chickpea rice pillaf, the meat has been braised for long hours, it’s packed with flavors and aroma. The portion is definitely filling too!<br/><br/>And of course the desserts completed the meal on a high note, options were 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 and 𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗲 which is a sweet cheese pastry made with buttered kadayif noodles stuffed with cheese 🧀 both are really good and beautifully presented with pashmak ☁️(Iranian candy floss)<br/><br/>If you don’t know already, @heartofaklcity restaurant month has been extended till end of September!<br/><br/>💲Price $55/person (drinks additional)<br/>😋Taste 4.3/5<br/>📍Wynyard Quarter

The beautiful interior design is what drew me in to trying this place. Aside from that, it’s a great place to try new things and it was my introduction to Turkish food. It’s definitely worth getting the mezze there, but the burger is not worth

Omg Gaby was so incredible! Please pass on my thanks, she absolutely made my night! Everything ran smoothly and she was just so gorgeous! Will definately come back 💖

Feriza’s is a place where you want to celebrate with friends, family or a quite romantic one with partner.. the ambience is calm and location is perfect. Love the staff every-time we have been here. Their menu is super and portion size is great too... will visit again definitely

This was my second time at Feriza’s following a work dinner a couple years ago, I was impressed then and even more so now. We ordered the mezze platter and kofte meatballs for starters which came out so quickly (service was amazing!!). For mains we ordered the dolma, chilli prawns, beef cheek tagine and the eggplant special along with some chicken kebabs - the flavours were amazing, especially the prawns and kebabs and the beef cheek was so tender and just melted in your mouth. <br/><br/>The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated with a very inviting atmosphere, and again the service was fantastic!
Jeanne
Amazing experience. The owners have really created a warm and welcoming atmosphere while still keeping the interior design stylish and modern. The food was incredible, the owner was extremely knowledgeable and gave us the best restaurant experience and her passion really shone through with her service.

This will be my second time here and I have to say, it was a great experience. The service was super attentative and the food was great. Notable highlight were the cigara borek and the beef cheek. The meat was literally melt in your mouth soft. Overall great experience.
Renie
We ordered the Feriza's Mezze and fried chicken amongst three people and it was definitely not enough. Portions slightly small compared to price. Taste was new as we had not tried Turkish before. Definitely a try! The ambience was lovely though and worth the walk down to viaduct.

Nice seating area with a nice open dining area. The service was quick and friendly.<br/><br/>Highlights: the tempura halloumi chips with the honey drizzle had to be my favourite. It was delicious and lightly battered. The honey was a surprisingly well paired flavour to the halloumi. The calamari was nicely seasoned and we'll cooked. The ceviche was really tasty but over marinated which made the texture of the fish rather tough.<br/><br/>Lowlights: the pizza was average. Nothing special and liked flavour.

You could feel the hospitality in this place. They tried really hard to make me and my friend feel welcomed. We got served fast and with very well presented food. <br/><br/>Loved the decor and the colors of this place. The only thing I didn’t like was the amount of vinegar on my octopus. I couldn’t eat it.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Great Ambience, delicious food and super service. The right recipe for success. Highly recommend it and will be visiting again very soon. <br/>The ladies loved the bathroom decor!

I liked the interior and decorations in this restaurant. The service was good and everything came out with good timing. I had the slow cooked lamb and also ate some of the sauces off of my husband's meal. The lamb was well cooked just slightly fatty for me. The beetroot hummus was good but there wasn't much on the plate. The deep fried bread was dripping with oil, if it was less oily it would be perfect. The salad was delish as well as the sauces on my husband's dish, they were very fresh tasting. The bathroom I found not too clean and their was blood on the floor. It was a very cold windy night and the waiters kept leaving the door open making alot of our time here cold and unpleasant. With a few changes this restaurant would be excellent.
Simone Hepburn
Food was reasonable nice - Nice chicken however Borek was oily and flavorless.<br/>The service was slow and unfriendly, the bench fabric was very dirty.<br/>I could only eat half my main and requested to take the other full chicken kebab home and was told it to either eat it or leave it!<br/>Will not recommend or visit again

Came in for afternoon tea with a friend today after she passed her learners test. Ordered the fish and chips, blueberry smoothie and the turkish coffee. Turkish coffee was a bit too bitter for me. It was my first time trying it and I wanted to order it just for the turkish delight that it came with. Blueberry smoothie was not that sweet and it didn't taste like it had much berries inside it. I reckon I ordered the wrong items. Heard this place was bomb and wanted to try. Will come again next time and try other food.
Nicola
Such a beautiful restaurant - decor was lovely and even the bathrooms were gorgeous. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive. Food was also lovely - we ordered the meatball entree, cauliflower fritter entree, eggplant main, chicken feast man and baklava dessert. Meatball entree was far too salty which was the consensus of the table. Cauliflower fritters were ok. Nice to try but wouldn’t order again. Everything else was delicious!!!!!

Came by for dinner and wasn't sure what to try since everything sounded tasty. I ended up going for the Adana Kebab, a lamb kebab served with chips and salad. The kebab was really flavoursome, nicely spiced and seasoned. The chips and salad went down well with the kabab, sauces and bread. It was really tasty. I also had the kunefe for dessert. It was almost at the edge of too sweet. the ice cream and candy floss actually added flavour to the kunefe, which was tasty and crispy.<br/><br/>The restaurant itself looks very elegant, with the open dining area topped with the chandelier. The kitchen was also quite open to the dining area so you could see what was going on there. Service was friendly and nice.

The food is so delicious plus their service was good too. I love their hot chocolate. Lovely place would definitely go back there again.

Lovely setting with intriguing dishes on the menu. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and help us through the menu, that had many unfamiliar Turkish treats present. Food was enjoyable but service not terribly fast and food, though tapas style, didn’t always satisfy our winter chill cravings. Would visit again, but not in near future.

We used first table for this. The three of us ordered two kebab plates and one dolma. While the food was great, not exceptional, what was most disappointing was the customer service. We were well mannered and respectful, but essentially kicked out because our the waiter told us we had stayed there for 90 minutes and couldn’t order dessert. He was loud and pretty rude. I really wanted to go back, but with that attitude and poor service I won’t be. Again the food is good and maybe he was having an off day but overall pretty glum experience.
Crackerjacker
Had a good experience here. I was in and out of there within about 30min, didn’t take long to take order and also for the food to come out. I got the lamb wrap and is was very very nice - very tender lamb. Highly recommend it

Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance, and wait staff that tried to do their best (definitely appreciate the effort). However, was disappointed with my overall experience as our drinks took nearly an hour to get to us, and they weren't very good (wine was off, cocktails not mixed well), orders were missed, and the food just wasn't good (one person had a kebab that wasn't cooked, all the different eggplant dishes tasted the same, presentation was something like you'd get at a mall food court). The restaurant did try to leave us with a good impression by giving us a complementary dessert to share but the loukoumades were stale and very hard to eat. Finally, when going to pay, we were charged twice for a drink that wasn't even consumed because it was so bad. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and everything on the dinner menu looks really good, but unfortunately they seemed to be having a bad night and were not able to meet my expectations. I don't think I will be returning...

Came here for dinner with a friend as I just love Turkish food! I ordered the dolma with lamb and my friend had the kebab dish. In terms of food quality, the dolma wasnt the best that I had the rice was quite dry inside. My Arab friends say they never order dolma at resturants and I can see why. The kebab dish was better, especially love the little salad on the side. However what stood out the most was the decor. Place is sooo beautiful! Staff was a let down though. No smiles or welcoming manner from the waitress that served us. Overall I didnt regret trying this place, but I also wouldnt be in a hurry to return- also heard this place was given a D food grade at some point?! Super shocked. Cant really judge a book by its cover.

Wow wata perfect lunch we had today and the flavouring of the food which we ordered was on point. Decor is beautifully done. Service by one staff member was a let down the rest was good.<br/>

Came here for brunch the other day and the actual restaurant is decorated really well and looks like its fine dining and the bathroom is nice but the food is such a disappointment. There isn't much on the menu to pick from so I got the avocado on toast and it was the worst one I have ever had. The bread was pide bread but it wasn't toasted even though on the menu it clearly says - on toast. Next off the 'avocado' was definitely not proper avocado, it was so runny it was like sauce and tasted like nothing. When we were seated no cutlery was brought to us and when I asked for cutlery the waitress told me to look in the pot on the table and when I pulled it out the cutlery was dirty. Everything took so long to come out as well. Do not recommend, there are much nicer places to eat.
Yana Petrenko
Hated my lunch experience here so much. The breakfast menu is literally just eggs, eggs, eggs and more eggs. My “ pomegranate iced tea “ tasted just like an e2 got poured into a glass. My fish and chips were the only thing in the menu I could find yet it was so bad. The flat bread me and my friend ordered to share was so bland and had no taste what so ever. The view was not there, service was also quite bad not gonna lie and was so disgusted by the fact our cutlery was filthy. Definitely don’t recommend this place.
Flames And Skewers
I tried their Chicken Souvlaki Wrap for lunch and it was amazing. It has a very fine dining kind of ambience so it's perfect for client meetings etc.<br/><br/>We went their for takeaways and decided to eat on the harbour instead which less than a minute's walk away.<br/><br/>The wrap was beautiful and the portion was the perfect size for lunch. Highly recommend this place.
Heysilly
The food, the staff, the service, even the interior decorations were 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. The taramasalata, potato piyaz and falafel were delicious. The Adana skewer was well seasoned and cooked nicely. And the hand cut fries was legit. I also enjoyed their Salep and Pomegranate Iced Tea. I’m glad that my partner and I came to Feriza to celebrate my birthday.

Friendly staff and the most luscious interior. <br/>Starters- Tempura Halloumi, Cauliflower fritters, Falafel and Hummus, Sigara Borek <br/>Tempura Halloumi was addictive ! had a small amount of honey drizzle over. clear winner.<br/>Falafel and hummus was good and same for the cauliflower fritters. <br/>Sigara Borek was very average, barely any flavour although had feta? <br/>Mains: Iskender and Lahmajun <br/>Both very very average. <br/>Isker was big croutons toasted with tomato sauce, 5 strips of beef and 2 pieces of broccoli with more yoghurt sauce - weird dish and partially put choosing but not much flavour <br/>Lahmajun was basic nothing special and needed more cooking as the middle went soggy immediately. <br/>
Sarah =^. .^=
Food: 5/5<br/>The Beef Cheek was very soft and melted in the mouth. Great amount of sauce and everything on the plate worked extremely well together. The Tempura Halloumi Chips were tasty. The Calamari Mezze was very good, the sauce and salsa on the plate complimented the calamari.<br/><br/>Service: 3/5<br/>We went with 4 people, and our mains all came out at different times.<br/><br/>Price: 5/5<br/>Portion sizes are huge! You won't leave this place feeling hungry

Was craving a cup of coffee at 8:30pm and thought it’s a good idea to visit Feriza to have a snack and plan what to eat for our next visit. And what a disappointment!<br/><br/>Long black was rudely awful. But I know this is not a cafe I didn’t expect much. We also ordered Ayran (special drink apparently) which was just plain yoghurt blended with water and ice... I’ve never tasted a drink so bland and tasteless. What’s concerning is the bartender opened the yoghurt container and smelled the yoghurt to check if it’s fine. He noticed us watching and smiled awkwardly back at us. The drink was served after our halloumi chips arrived, while the restaurant was practically empty. Does the bartender need more training on how to make the specialty drinks or it’s how they taste originally? Either way, huge disappointment. I was planning on trying food here but not anymore. Not gonna return for sure.<br/><br/>Drinks 1/10 Service 4/10 Ambience 7/10

| Loukoumades, Tiramisu and Kunefe |<br/>-<br/>The highlight was the Kunefe, the kadaifi (pastry) baked in cheese, soaked in lemon honey syrup 🤤 and served with pistachio vanilla ice cream. One of the best desserts I've tasted! It's like a turkish version of a cheesecake but with strands of Kunefe that adds a beautiful crispy texture. That combined with cheese, I just melted in my seat 🤭

One of my favourite restaurants! Food, service, decor, ambience, location, everything is stellar. Good for a nice intimate date night or for group gatherings. Decent portion sizing and a good price point for what you get.

Lack customer service.<br/><br/>The waitress poured water twice into my glasses, and both times heavily spilled out on my table, and she only coldly said sorry, didnt wipe the water at all, and didn't even offer tissues

Such a beautiful restaurant, relatively new in the wynyard quarter area. Absolutely love the interior decoration, from the cutlery to the bathroom design. The menu had heaps of choices and allows you to opt to share small dishes or order your own main. It was hard to pick from such great sounding plates! We were a group of 6 so shared small plates and was able to try a variety of dishes. My favourite dish was the cauliflower fritters, which had heaps of flavour and came with a generous amount of dip. I also enjoyed the Turkish lamb meatballs. Deep fried halloumi looked and sounded more exciting than it tasted but a fun option on the menu nonetheless. Service felt a bit inexperienced and awkward but was otherwise fine.

Feriza’s was an interesting find. I was looking for places to have my birthday dinner at. They have a great range of drinks. Their menu is relatively small but makes the effort to cater to everyone’s needs.<br/><br/>I had the chicken kebabs. The chicken was nice and tender, however I would have hoped that it would be on a bed of rice as opposed to tortillas and a small portion of rice.<br/><br/>They also do really good desserts!<br/><br/>The staff are polite and friendly and always join in on the fun.

What great food! Dolma: succulent pepper filled with rice pilaf-outstanding, and the pulled lamb that came with it was so juicy and filled with flavour. Also ordered the mezze: This was awesome. Every item on the mezze made sense when eaten together and oh so good! The Afana Kebab and Slow Cooked Lamb were amazing too. Apart from the food the decor and atmosphere is great in this restaurant. Food was ok but not outstanding. Waiting staff knew virtually nothing about the menu and could not describe the dishes. Was unpleasantly surprised to be automatically prompted for a tip when paying. Will not be back.

Popped in here for a few drinks and some food before a show round the corner at the ASB theatre. Food tasted good but seemed like it was a lacking a bit of love from the kitchen. Asked our waiter some questions and he apologised that he didn’t really know much about the menu as he had only worked there a month?! I could maybe understand if it was his first week. We got asked if we wanted another round of drinks after we had finished eating and took up the opportunity to grab another two and told the waiter we would vacate our table and sit outside so they could seat someone else, but when he brought over the drinks and we tried to go sit at an outside table we were told by the Maître’d that they didn’t have an outdoor licence for the front and we couldn’t drink out there. I’d come back, but feel like communication was a bit of an issue.

I really enjoy Turkish food. I was expecting great things from this restaurant. The food was below average. We ordered sigara borek and the feast from the grill.<br/>The sigara boreks were the commercial pull from the freezer and deep fry variety. I was expecting a hand made family recipe version.<br/>The feast from the grill wasn’t great. Two types of meat, beef and chicken that were really dry. I was expecting charcoal authentic grilling succulent Turkish kebab.<br/>We had ordered cocktails first, the cocktails came out after the food came out. Argghhhh. Service wasn’t great.

We had gone there during Valentine’s Day so had not got the opportunity to try the Regular Menu. They had a special set Menu for Two.<br/>The Location,Interior,Decor & Ambience is absolutely Amazing!!!!! It gives you the Mediterranean vibes. Love the lights and the whole atmosphere.<br/>It was like a Fine dining experience.<br/>We had tried the watermelon salad with feta, the meatballs for entree. In the Mains we had the Roast chicken & King prawns cooked in Turkish style. For dessert my favourite was the Turkish donuts served with ice cream.<br/>Would love to visit here again to try the Mezze Platter and other yummy dishes.

Went here for dinner with a big group of 25 and on their request pre ordered our mains in the morning. Meals were supposed to be served together at 7:45 but were served sporadically for over an hour. Meals that did arrive were not complete and half of us had finished eating once meals came. Last meals came an hour after the first ones and drink orders took over an hour to arrive. Meals were below average and small for the price paid. Arrogant and unapologetic service while walk ins were served. Venue was freezing cold and only had one heater. Will definitely not return or recommend. Really expected a lot more and there are many other Turkish restaurants with better service in Auckland.

Staff are amazing and so is their service! The food is to die for. Melt in your mouth meat and amazing platter! My partner and I are in love with this place!

HEAVEN. I took my mum here for lunch & we ordered a platter, king prawns, baklava & hot/cold drinks. The food is of great quality. The decor is beautiful. I will definitely be coming back here.

Loved the decor and the ambience of this restaurant and really enjoyed the food, which is a harmonious blend of Turkish and Greek cuisine. Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented and well prepared. We had three dishes to share, and then dessert, which was a very big portion. <br/><br/>My favorite component out of all dishes was the pistachio ice cream, which was creamy and rich and absolutely decadent. See photos. <br/><br/>The service was quick, friendly and informative. The only thing I found odd was how the bathrooms were setup. I won’t give it away. Keep the intrigue going. <br/><br/>I’ll certainly go back in the future.<br/>

Lovely tasty food and great service. We visited for lunch and ordered the special - lamb with couscous and a terakihi wrap. Both were delicious and generous portions. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful interior design, love the colour scheme! Will be back to try the dinner menu.

Went to ferizas on a Tuesday night and it was almost empty (although the rest of Wynyard quarter seemed to be the same). <br/><br/>Between two of us we ordered the mezze platter a potato and onion gozleme, the kunefe dessert as well as drinks. the mezze platter is massive and can easily be shared across 4-5 people as a starter. There are lots of different items on the platter and our waitress was very good at explaining all of these aspects without being prompted to. <br/><br/>The gozleme was really good and filling. I feel as though our choices were not a good combination as the food ended up tasting all the same. The kunefe dessert was interesting, personally not to either of our tastes but the pistachio ice cream that came with it was delicious! <br/><br/>Serving sizes are definitely substantial as well as worth the price. Service was faultless, really friendly and always checking up on us without being too overbearing. The zomato app only lets me rate 3 but a 3.5 would be more accurate.<br/><br/>Would love to come in again to try the other mains. Also note that the menu was slightly different from the zomato print.

This cafe is a great and authentic spot in the viaduct. I ordered the Potato Kombe and my friend ordered the Avocado on toast. The food was amazing, and the coffee was good quality also. Will definitely be making this a repeat visit whenever I am in the Viaduct in Auckland.

After 7 of us waiting 50 minutes for our mains, they finally came out and told us they ran out of Goat. Not only did we wait a further 30 minutes, they bought each dish out separately over 45 minutes. Tables around us had the same problem. Sub standard, and wouldn't return. Really disappointing.

If it is a beautiful day....or not try and get a seat outside.... There is nothing nicer than a cool breeze, a beautiful view and lovely food.<br/><br/>I decided to start off with a turkish apple tea, very sweet but it was nice on a cold day. I have a soft spot for copper so I enjoyed the large planter outside. <br/><br/>My partner and I decided to share everything. The iskender was a stunning meal with the beef so tender, I would highly recommend this dish. The bean salad was a bit bland for me but was still enjoyable. I would definitely get Feriza's Mezze again... The beetroot humus was to die for and the slow cook lamb was faultless. <br/><br/>Overall a beautifully laid out restaurant, great location and nice staff.

What stuns you instantly is the aesthetic interior decor; blue-themed chairs and couches with reflective tables and pretty cups. <br/><br/>We got some small shares; Octopus, King Prawns and Meatballs. For mains we got Ali Nazik and Beef Cheek. <br/><br/>The meatballs were the most enjoyable of the three shared dishes. A little dry but manageable; the Greek yoghurt sauce had bits of apple in it which was interesting to eat, made it a bit more enjoyable. <br/>The octopus was too tough to chew and quite dry; the sauce it came with was a lifesaver otherwise my friend would have choked. Flavour wise it was lacking in something punchy. <br/>The king prawns had a smoky spiciness to it, but was over cooked and dry. The potatoes were sadly the best part of the dish. <br/><br/>The mains were massive! Wasn’t quite expecting it! The Ali Nazik is a massive plate of beef chunks on grilled eggplant with Greek yoghurt and some fries on top. If it weren’t for the yoghurt, I would have had trouble swallowing the beef because it was really dry and flavourless. My friend’s beef cheek dish was very much the same; dry and flavourless although the roasted baby carrots and asparagus saved it. <br/><br/>Service was exceptional though, full of energy and flamboyance. <br/><br/>Food: 5/10<br/>Price: 7/10<br/>Ambience: 10/10<br/>Service: 10/10

Its some sort of high end turkish food with the most beautiful interior ever. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Food was okay but it can be better. Presentation and portion were also nice. Worth the money.

Best place to have Turkish/Greek food! Check out my review on my blog here. https://untitledinauckland.wordpress.com/2017/11/16/restaurant-review-ferzias-kitchen-cbd/

Came here for lunch on Sunday. Lovely restaurant with authentic Turkish menu. We shared the Mezze with lamb. Food and service was good and servings were generous.

Went there with 3 friends $93 dollars bad service and ok food later disappointment. For Turkish food it was way way too expensive side of bacon is $6.50.<br/>Not going back

Firstly the great stuff - friendly and efficient service, fab décor and the taramasalata on the Mezze platter was superb.  Overall, all the meals we tried (and shared between 3) were tasty.  My only real quibble was that 2 of the dishes we ordered - Calamari salad and the Slow Baked Lamb from the oven felt a bit protein light given the price tag.  Nice place particularly on a sunny day, but could up the lamb/calamari portions in my opinion.
Gracie Taylor
Delicious! Quick and delightful. I love the plush velvet chairs and the house red wine. Full bodied yet smooth and only $11 a glass. Highlights were the cheesey mushroom spinach wrap thing with tzatziki and the cauliflower fritters and the calamari salad.
Caitlin
GO HERE. Came for lunch Monday, ordered the chicken salad and the flavours were absolutely amazing. The lamb was tender and succulent & the sauces they use are so fresh and tasty. The cocktails are amazing too - must try! This place is definitely pricey but worth every cent in my opinion. Side note: the restaurant is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL even the bathroom is Insta worthy. ✅🤳🏽

Today we had our breakfast at Feriza's. We tried several dishes and it was delicious and very friendly staff. Highly recommended this restaurant! 💯

Given the parking issue and endless roadworks around the Wynyard, we tend to avoid the area, but we ventured to Feriza's on Saturday night. No booking, the place was full, and all they could give us was seats at a counter. I was reluctant but my partner said to go for it so we sat at the kitchen counter. What a good choice! :-) It was fascinating to watch the dynamics of the chefs and waiting staff. (And the stools were surprisingly comfortable)<br/><br/>The food.......we started with a share of the Gozleme, a beef onion and cheese one. Yum!!!!! Very !!! And not too filling. For mains I had the Lamb Faloush Salad, and she the Iskender. My salad was ok; a little disappointing flavour-wise as I didn't seem to get any pomegranate flavour, but the meat was tender and flavoursome. Her Iskender was very good with vegies done to her taste (crunchy but cooked). For dessert I had the Loukoumades and she the Baklava. These were ok and whilst we know that Turkish/Greek sweets are exactly that, these perhaps were a little too sweet for our taste and we were thankful for the ice creams to counter that, and for a little of our wines to be left to clear the palate at the end. I guess that is how they are supposed to be served though, so this is purely a matter of personal taste.  So, food good and fair value for money :-)<br/><br/>The drinks selection, beers at least, is limited and not being a craft beer drinker left me short of options for a beer. The wine list is ho hum but then these days it is hard to find value in a wine list.<br/><br/>The atmosphere at Ferizas is sensational. Being full helped immensely, but it has great decor and the service was faultless; really good.<br/><br/>All in all, a very good place to eat be it as a couple or as a group. Recommend, especially a seat at the kitchen counter !!!<br/><br/>(And the washrooms are VERY novel......  :-)    )

Apart from the hand cut fried being half raw , everything else was good :) LOve the inside set up ! The staff on the other hand are lovely :)

Feriza's Kitchen is sucha contemporary modern twist to Turkish cuisine! Stunning decor and the ambience of ferizas is awesome! Date night for hubby and I we had the sigara borek with tzatziki sooooo good! Highly recommended followed by the chicken feast and Adana kebab. Super yum :) full of flavour. Fantastic to have something new & different in Wynyard Quarter - particularly when the selection of great Turkish food in Auckland overall has been lacking. Feriza's Kitchen (& their 'sister' Deco in Titirangi) appear to have this nailed.<br/>Occupying a site that has never done well unfortunately, a beautiful refit with clean clear lines & rich fabric along with a new enclosed outdoor area, Ferizas was buzzing on our visit. Whereas previously no reservation would have been necessary it pays to book if you want to guarantee your table.<br/>Service was efficient (not so much engaging, but certainly not rude) and it was great to see a good amount of staff to keep things moving. <br/>We tried a selection of dishes & all were enjoyed. It's not cheap, but if you are looking for quality & taste this is the place.<br/>The souvlaki contained hot chips which was a hit with our party, and the lamb shoulder was so full of flavour & meltingly tender. The gozleme is a must try, and the pizzas looked delicious too. They're on our 'must try' for next time. They have a good beer & wine selection & also housemade limonata & the famous Turkish yoghurt drink as non-alcoholic options.<br/>Again! Finally a decent Turkish restaurant in Auckland - something we had a flood of many years ago that had all but disappeared.
