First time came for lunch. Love the cocktail. Food is nice, especially the shoestring fries, full of flavor. Staffs are friendly and helpful too. Price is reasonable, $30 for lunch and tape beer. Cocktail is between $18 - $22, but I think totally worth it.

Three ladies on a Friday night extending our dinner out by finding a cocktail or two, horrible weather, so we opted for an inside drink instead of outside. I must say that the service is outstanding. Very nice, obliging young waiters and bar staff. Very tasty fries with a kind of pickle dip! Expensive cocktails, but delicious and you are paying for the venue and everything else too. Music got too loud to talk and lights going down was our cue to tottle home to the suburbs. Long way upstairs if you have bad knees or are unsteady on your pins. It was fun! Thanks guys 🤓

What I love about this place is that they are very quick to respond when you email them. You get to have an exchange message with the owner himself. He was very nice and professional eventhough I have made multiple changes in my booking. Good job Jason. See you tomorrow for my booking to dine with my wife and family celebrating her birthday.

Food are tasty though it's real that it comes in a little portion. Well it is a cocktail bar which you first notice when you come to the entrance that is why it is not a usual go to to have heavy lunch and all instead people go here to drink and have a little bit of snack.
All in all we like the settings and staff are the best.

We came here for a few drinks on a Thursday evening. It was very busy so we sat at the bar which was great. The bar staff were very attentive. The cocktails were delicious and very reasonably priced. Would recommend for a date night or just an after work drink. If you can get on the balcony there are great views. Will be back.

Parasol & Swing in the Viaduct was the perfect cocktail stop for Friday afternoon drinks and enjoying the views. The bi-level bar is simply stunning and stylishly adorned and staff was very attentive. I also loved the laid back 90 R&B set the live DJ was playing.
We enjoyed a round of exotic and aesthetically pleasing cocktails and this was the ideal launchpad to fun night out! Highly recommended!

Had a nice night out on the sky deck as we wanted a well crafted cocktail without the shoulder to shoulder club vibe. Expect a big bills as cocktails run around $20! They still have a DJ and dancing area inside but with outdoor seating too. It's on the 3rd floor and shares a large bathroom with Dr Rudi's next door. They also have a burger place downstairs but haven't tried that yet. Pro tip: the Dancing with the Devil cocktail I believe it's called with egg whites is definitely the best of them all.

Great bar with beautiful views over the marina and a little quieter than others in the area. The cocktails are tasty and the staff know their stuff. Absolutely recommend checking it out.

Parasol and Swing Company Bar has some of the best and unusual cocktail glassware I have ever seen. My favourite cocktail cup was definitely the tiki drink, which even came topped with a fortune cookie. The cocktails not only looked good but were also delicious. The service staff were super nice and friendly and the food was tasty. The view out towards the water really nice, especially during sunset.

Amazing fries and service. The view is obviously great as it’s situated in the viaduct and there is indoor and outdoor seating available. There’s something about the shoestring fries that definitely deserve a award!

My rating is based solely on the drinks alone because boy I'm in love with their cocktail menu. Quirky, creative, and well executed. I'm personally not a fun of how loud it was but hey, it's good fun for a night out. Pictured are death of a sailor and banana miso sour. Both great! Definitely worth trying if you enjoy something different.

Ordered the buttermilk chicken burger. Was burnt and buns were hard. The fries were cold and not nice. Aioli had too much lemon and the fish taco wrap was stale. Service was good and very was amazing but would not recommend for food.

On a friday evening, upstairs by the rooftop there was a loud party vibe but conversations can barely be heard. However, downstairs it was nice and chill that I could hear my friends and catch up properly, so that’s something to consider based on your mood. We had a beautiful build your own taco platter and it was so delicious, there was a generous serving of toppings and that saucy pulled beef was everything. We also had some chimichangas that were plated nicely. I had a banana miso sour which I thought was going to be strange but was actually pretty good, really simple presentation tho. The staff apologised in advance saying the food and drinks were going to take a while but everything actually came out quickly.

Meat patty for beef burger was not cooked which is unsafe to consume whether pregnant or not. However, the customer service made up for it and got it replaced with a well done burger. Food quality ain’t that great tho! Pricey considering the portion sizes. Wouldn’t go back!

3.5 Rating! Pretty venue, lovely atmosphere! Ordered their buttermilk fried chicken which was cooked well, their beef and steak burgers were mediocre. Tasted good but nothing special about it. It was rather pricey for the servicing size and the taste of it.

Delicious $25 Menu for American Express Restaurant Month: Prawn & Chorizo Chimichanga & Tamarind and Chipotle Braised Brisket! hopefully its included in the regular menu (should be)! The chimichanga had a vibrant and unique taste that made me crave for more, and the brisket tortilla had a great mixture of ingredients...it felt like i had fireworks popping in my mouth, haha...quick service and delivery, nice and cozy ambiance as well-if only it wasn't freezing cold, we would've sat outside in the balcony with a wonderful view of the viaduct and Auckland Harbour Bridge from afar<br/>:( ...definitely will come back!

Had a quick lunch here with awesome view. Food was above average. Fish Taco is nice and fried chicken burger with wasabi mayo source is just awesome. The chicken piece is crispy and juicy at the same time. Would like to come back at night to try the drinks.

Ended up coming here a couple months back for my Christmas party after a different place we were at bombed. Came for the drinks and left with great memories.<br/><br/>Good amount of cocktails and drinks offered. I finally found a place that makes a Grasshopper (super minty delicious easy to down drink) and could not have been more thrilled. The bartenders were on their game and it was decently busy with the DJ playing some decent tunes.<br/><br/>Will have to be back for another Grasshopper but also to try more of their drinks and seemingly delicious food menu (and grab some pictures)!

The best rooftop spot in the city for afternoon drinks! Awesome views of the Viaduct marina, and high enough to be away from the hustle and chaos on the sidewalk after the sun sets. The food is great too, specifically the off-menu Chicken Tower burger as well as the poutine tater tots. Always have a great selection of beer that get rotated.

Best place in the viaduct for drinks plus an amazing view!<br/><br/>If you haven’t already, visit The Parasol & Swing Company on a nice summer day. <br/><br/>The terrace space outside is limited but cozy. This place has an overall great atmosphere. It’s not overly loud like many other bars. It’s a perfect place for a catch-up with a friend over a glass of wine or nicely crafted cocktail. <br/><br/>I haven’t tried the food so I can’t speak for that.<br/><br/>Looking forward to going back over the summer.

The cocktails here are good, the venue is great but oh my goodness this place must work on its service. If I am paying $20 for a cocktail I would love to be served by someone that isn’t burping at the bar in front of me and doesn’t seem to be depressed about being there. The male waiter was great, very attentive with a lovely attitude. Really appreciate it. The ladies at the bar however, really let it all down... such a shame as you’re paying quite a lot for a really negative service at the bar.. if they were more attentive, positive and didn’t burp at you it would be ideal.... really disappointed.

Perfect place to have a drink as well as having food. Tried the Chicken & Bacon waffles, Tempura calamari and hash bites with yuzu aioli. The waffles were amazing probably the best I’ve had. Also ordered the Parasol mojito and nitro coffee. Definitely going back there again soon
