Review Mojo - Auckland Central

Visited Mojo for the first time one day before lockdown, I was lucky. Great location nearby my office. Good coffee Nice interior Also tried the sweets, not bad Next time I should give it a try of the food menu as I saw from others, looked delicious.

First time here and it's one of the nicer coffee shops from cleanliness to friendly service. Was also really happy to see how my tea was presented in more than just a to-go cup because that's what I'm used to from most other places. There's lots of tables inside and spaced out well. Didn't get any food. Was also a bit hard to notice from the street as there's no noticable signs. Lastly, they do have a toilet available.

Unfortunately been closed the last few times if passed. Not sure if this is because of the construction happening around the side, could be. However if you're near here it for sure is worth seeing if they are open. Staff are really friendly. I've been here with friends and on business. The menu is easy to understand, great coffee and food. Music is perfect and it never is too busy that you can't hear the other person.

Mojo is always good cafe to stop by. Especially service was wonderful at this shop. Long black was with full of crema and Mocha was just sweet enough as much as I needed.

Mojo’s is a café with a variety of locations in the Auckland CBD. They even have one at Auckland Uni. Mojo’s offers a wide variety of cabinet food and all-day breakfast menus. I really enjoy the scrambled eggs on the toast. The porridge is excellence, it is served with yoghurt, berry compote and some nuts to top it off. Both breakfast options are tasty and good value for money. The staff here are really friendly.

It’s always good to find a cafe that cares about their coffee and serves soma water as a cleanser (a whole bottle!) The single origin is very drinkable as a black coffee. Lovely fresh cakes including several GF options. It’s a nice space with friendly staff, at least one more person would be good to handle the rushes though. Will be going back tomorrow for breakfast.

Great coffees! My weak sweet latte was perfect and I loved the avocado smashed toast with a poached egg! Note the avocado is mixed with lime, if you don’t like lime be sure to request plain avocado. Went here twice in our 5 days in Auckland. Great atmosphere.

This was the first time I have tried this cafe. We had one of their chilli and cheese scones each for breakfast. They were warm and delicious, the perfect match for our morning coffee. Definitely a nice atmosphere with safe that are friendly and helpful.

This place is the bomb. The front of house staff are just great - friendly, efficient and thoughtful, and the chef makes the best scram eggs in New Zealand. The only thing they could do to improve would be to have more avocado based meals on the menu.

The Staff are always friendly, food and coffee great! Light and bright little coffee shop at the end of the building. An inner city haven away from the grey of Auckland Streets. Popular with inner-city workers and dwellers who want to fill their senses with delight and escapism without having to bring along a book.

Definitely Five-star service🌸 Craig the barista there makes super stunning coffee with nice smooth taste and beautiful latte art! He also refilled the water glass for customers, impressive! Will keep coming back with my partner.🌸 One more THANK U for him! I lost my purse there, and he found it on the floor kept for me. My day was made because of Craig and Mojo🌸

Love coming to Mojo for breakfast. The food is delish! Topped off by fantastic service from Katie-Rose. It's more like visiting a friend than popping into a cafe 👍🏻

A really subdued quiet space in the middle of road constuction, taffic noise, busyness to sit in comfort whether on you are on a lunchbreak or merely passing. Subtle decor encouraging peace. Exceptionally clean. Foodprint members.

Busy but staff were very helpful, polite and attentive. Happy for us to order only drinks and did not rush us to leave. Looking forward to eating lunch there in the future.

Came in for breakfast with friends this morning. Ordered a kumara egg salad, pumpkin tart and mint tea. Kumara salad was absolutely delicious. Kumara was roasted until soft, egg was seasoned well. I also really liked the salad sauce. Could really taste the butter in the pumpkin tart. Base was flakey, the way I liked it. Staff members were patient and friendly. Love the environment.

Very lovely space and ambiance, but unfortunately the staff when we went there were a bit unfriendly. The lady on the counter was rude :( and we felt rushed when we’re there (around 4pm prolly bec its nearly closing time).

There isn't a Zomato page for the Mojo store located on Symonds Street at Auckland University so here I am. I usually go to Mojo since it's close by and being a uni student, coffee is a must. It's always the same two people working there - a man and a lady. The male worker is SO DAMN RUDE. I can't even!!! A little respect would be nice. I might look like a kid but I pay exactly the same price as everyone else. Pretty sure you wouldn't want the same service if I stood behind the counter serving you coffee😒😒

Coffee here always bad. I like mojo, the mojo coffee in art gallery is much better, always a standard specialty cup of coffee. But meals here are nice, good cabinet food too.

Good cabinet selection of bread and pastries from sweet to savoury. I tried the chili and feta cheese scone and my friend got the cherry danish. Both the scone and the danish were reasonably good.

Good coffee and super yum sweet chai latte!

Surprisingly cosy and quiet spot in the middle of the city.

Staff is average and looks very sleepy at 9 am in the morning.

I popped by Mojo on my way to uni.
I hadn't had breakfast yet and was enticed by the baked goods in the pantry.
I obviously was so starving that I had to have a doughnut. They had three different options. Plum & Chocolate, Boysenberry and Strawberry. I have a disliking to strawberry jam and ordered the Boysenberry to-go.
I didn't realise until I got to uni and took a bite of the donut. But the waitress gave me the strawberry.
It was verging on sickly sweet and the dough was more stable than fluffy.
Mojo is known as the place to go for a cup of coffee so I guess I can't write an honest review of the place.
But I was disappointed with the item I had there.
The service was decent, I guess what happened to me was just human error.

stopped by hoping to grab some breakfast at around 10 in between running errands
judging by the small amount of patrons it wasn't a busy/peak time, staff were not pre occupied
5-6 workers behind the counter and no one greeted or came up to the counter so I tried to grab their attention hoping to get served and it took a while, just glared at me before one decided to serve me
It's a shame that this particular branch lets the mojo brand down because I've been to the mojo inside the Auckland art gallery and I think their service is far better than this branch. You're better off going to a small cafe nearby or another mojo branch
probably won't be back here which is a shame because their cold brew was real good
the whole vibe from the workers behind the counter just made for an intimidating experience

My beef burger was O for Owesome. A little skimpy on the crisps but very tasty. Coffee was pretty good. Overall an awesome little cafe tucked away off one of Aucklands main street. Happy customer.

Went here for lunch. Ordered a smoothie. I had high hopes for my Caesar salad. The waitress asked if I wanted to include chicken so I said yes. The salad was pretty average. The chicken was cold & very tough. Maybe it was an off day, I don't know. But for a $23 lunch, I can't say I'll be returning anytime soon.

Great coffee, really lovely staff, good food! Wide selection of cabnit food and menu food. Also have really yummy sweet treats! Will most definitely be coming back 😍☕️
