Review 7 Siri Taste Of Sri Lanka - Auckland Central

Sterling Arnet
We ordered the masala chai jug which was amazing and perfectly sweetened to taste alongside that we had home made spring rolls and curry puffs which were top of the line! The lump rice was full of flavour and so tasty and we could barely finish the street food rice which we will gladly eat tomorrow for lunch! Top spot and a true authentic Sri Lankan dining experience. My first time at 7 SIRI Taste of Sri Lanka! Such an excellent restaurant with all amazing decorations. Service was great. I ordered biriyani with lamb, it was deep flavor spicy rice with two kinds of special sauces. I have seen lots of people ordered deviled fried rice, can’t wait to try it next time!
Hungry Teddy
Cheap and surprisingly tasty. First time trying the sri lanka food. We ordered a couple of dishes, such as masala dosa, egg and cheese appa, and the lumprice. All tasted great. We will definitely gonna be back for more. Service was great too.

Very tasty authentic food in a small rustic restaurant in Sandringham main street. Very helpful friendly manager-chef. $15-18 for a main and $25+ seafood main. We enjoyed our experience.

Great food and service with a smile. Authentic feel to the place. Loads of options for different dietary requirements (gluten free, vegan etc).

I couldn’t decide what to pick from the menu as everything looks so delicious. So I went for this chicken “wrap” (sorry i forgot the name) with curry soup a side and I didn’t regretted. It was really good.

The first thing you’ll be greeting by are the wonderful aromas of homemade cooking. Being my first time trying Sri Lankan food, I was left very satisfied with my Lumprice and Roti (coconut!). Service was lovely and it is a generally cozy spot.

Lovely food and we had a great time celebrating our friends birthday. Staff were awesome!

The food was delicious and quite cheap for the amount of food we ordered, we really enjoyed it. The owners are also very friendly and cheerful. They took their time to explain the dishes to us, it made us feel welcome. We will definitely come back.

I have been to this place 2x and always had fantastic experience. The foods were always made fresh and so delicious and healthy. The first glance when I tried Srilankan food from this place was the taste was similar to what I used to have in Indonesia (my home country). Maybe because we use the similarity of ingredients. Alwis the owner is also a humble and kind person. He asked for feedback but no, we don't have any specific feedback for the deliciousness we had. It was just because the weather outside was cold so everything we had that time were getting cold quickly (maybe because I sat near the door too!) But after all, I really enjoyed it. Thanks Alwis for nice hospitality to us and your humble smile. You are really have love and passion to your business which make a good inspirations for everyone.

Alwis and his team catered our wedding! It was the best wedding feast ever, more than a month later I still have guests telling me how yum the food was!! Everyone especially loved the appa and mutton curry Thank you for being so kind and accomodating you made our wedding extra special

A symphony of flavours delivered to your table by the warmest staff! Staff are so lovely and keen to share their amazing Sri Lankan cuisine. Not to mention making so much of their food vegan friendly! My idea of heaven

The passion reflects in the food that one cooks.. Quality food that is strongly recommended for Kiwis to try. It's healthy and not spicy unless you ask for it. Didn't feel like a hole in the pocket even after eating more than enough. Unlike other restaurants on the street, this place sells nutrition with richness of traditional flavours. A must try : Crab curry

▪️Lumprice & Roti 3.5/5▪️<br/>This place has been recommended for top cheap eats in Auckland so I decided to try it out. Customer service was average. Friendly but didn't really go out of their way to be accomodating. Decor could do with an upgrade too. I felt like they were trying to give off an authentic Sri Lankan feel however when you enter, It feels like the inside has been the same as if it were opened in the 80s. A lick of paint and newer decor could do the place justice. The food was average but my critique isn't fair as I can't judge it against other Sri Lankan food seeing as this the first time I've tried briyani. I did enjoy the lamb. It was tasty and flavoursome. The chicken on the other hand was super dry and didn't taste appetising at all. Would recommend you order the lumprice to try a variety of meats on one plate. My meal set me back $24 including a can of sprite so the price isn't too bad. Would love to try other Sri Lankan food to compare meals🙂

For cheap eat it was not value for money. I ordered a meal which has roti + rice, curry and salad. Everything tasted bland and tiny mouth fulls only. I was underwhelmed and unimpressed. I also had unset tummy afterwards, not sure if something has been contaminated with meat as I am vegetarian. Service was also very slow considering only 5 customers in the restaurant.

Our usual place hasn't opened yet and we were too hungry so we tried this new place.<br/><br/>Summary:<br/>Food Taste: No star (edible, microwave heat up food)<br/>Food Presentation: No star (cheap plastic plates and bowls)<br/>Price: No star (overpriced, in fact, they need to pay us to eat their food we ordered)<br/>Service: 3 stars<br/><br/>We ordered Lumprice (the dish this restaurant is know for??) and Fish curry.<br/><br/>Price wise, it's a bit more expensive compare to other restaurants serve similar food coz we paid $42 for 2 dishes so we expected the food taste to match the price.<br/><br/>After placing our order, we didn't smell any food being cooked! All we could hear was sound of microwave running multiple times. We really hope at least someone freshly cook for us when they expect customers to pay that much!!! We saw Loti was freshly cooked and it was the only thing nice unfortunately.<br/><br/>The food was served on a very thin sad looking plastic plate and the sad looking Fish curry in a sad looking plastic bowl.... it only had 2 chunks of fish (bigger chunk size approxi 5cm x 5cm) in very watery curry.... you'll get more fish in Fish curry from foodcourt tbh!!!<br/><br/>Lumprice, he did mentioned it is pre-made dish but not sure when it was made coz tasted pretty old.<br/><br/>Waiter was kind I guess but we lost our words when he asked us if everything was okay. We just said "Yes" just to be polite........ in fact, we were very very very disappointed (close to getting angry) with the food and presentation.<br/><br/>We still ate half of the food because our hard earned money was going to be wasted on this.<br/><br/>We had to go to our usual restaurant after this.

Finally ticked this one off the list. There was a variety of flavors in my main dish but the flavors weren't strong, I was expecting curry strength so was surprised when it was much more subtle. The boss recommended coconut and sugar dessert that I recommend, we ended up ordering another one.
CHIFAN.EATS
I have to say that we were really disappointed with what we got. The staff was really friendly and helpful, helped us with our order. We got three of the most popular dishes, but unfortunately none tasted nice enough. Everything was a bit dry, overpowered by spices yet still lacking flavour... <br/><br/>Food 5/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 6/10

Came for lunch at this place today. Very badly made Chicken Roast kutto rice and Devilled biryani. It was very much salty ! The chefs were busy with the Uber eats delivery and in rush did not take care of the customers inside the restaurant. Would never recommend coming to this place. The kiwi guys were treated much fairly than us and their food looked much presentable than us.

Wasn't too pleased with what we ordered. Although this was a few months ago and management had changed from what I've been seeing (Review wise), may be its time to re-visit this place.<br/><br/>Staff are friendly and polite, the two dishes we ordered took around 25 mins to come + the food was cold by the time it came to our table.<br/><br/>We were the only 2 people in the restaurant on a Wednesday night.<br/><br/>Ambience : ⭐⭐⭐⭐<br/>Staff : ⭐⭐⭐⭐<br/>Price : ⭐⭐⭐<br/>Food : ⭐⭐⭐

Staff were so incredibly polite and friendly, the place felt cosy and inviting, and the food was absolutely sensational. You get a lot for your money and the taste is just divine.

Great food and at good prices. Didnt realise how big the portions were. The ambience inside makes you feel like you're in Sri Lanka. Would definitely be coming back for more. Service was a little slow but not a major issue.
Hank Zhang
Not worth to go again. Staff are nice but disorganized. it's a long waiting (more than 25 mins) for just a Lamprice and kottu Roti(fried Roti). Lamprice taste just fine, but it feels like a microwave unevenly heated food; the kottu Roti taste horrible, and charge 5 dollars more without informing us there is a surcharge for egg and cheese. you have plenty of better choices in Sandringham.

This is a nice place with delicious Sri Lankan food.<br/><br/>The staff is efficient and friendly too.<br/><br/>A small and nicely decorated place. Great for a group of 4 people max.<br/><br/>The dishes is good for sharing too ...if u like to try a variety. I try the sri lankan signature drink and its really nice...on a much sweeter side. (Not for everyone)<br/><br/>

This place is the best. I’m horrified I’ve only just found it. The food is incredible. Flavours are so vibrant and tasty. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food came out really fast. Very tiny little place but so busy. I plan on working through the entire menu. Thank you for the beautiful food
K
Absolutely love the food here. Among our favourite is the chicken curry, lamb curry, dahl curry, cabbage vege, lensu roti and pol roti. The seafood curries are also tasty if you like seafood. Favourite sweet /dessert item is the kiri appa, it’s delicious
Donna Wilson
My curry had the resemblance of an old and scrawny chicken full of bones in a watery sauce with withered old noodles. Also the portion sizes of the others at my table were very small for the price. Three of the dessert choices were not available for a quiet night and the service not that inspiring.

Exploring Sri Lankan cuisine we reached Sandringham area & spotted this cozy 7 Siri restaurant. We were a bit late for lunch & wondered where we may have some lunch. The owner was very warm accomodating. He welcomed us & we saw a wide variety of veg & non veg dishes for lunch & were a bit lost as to what to go for. He guided us with excellent suggestions. We chose the prawn curry with Roomali Roti. To start we chose to share Lump Rice. It turned out to be an excellent choice with such a good variety of rice chicken meat & veges all bundled into a compact banana leaf parcel. Certainly recommend to anyone who has not tried SL cuisine before. The Prawn Curry with Paper thin roti was a delightfully spicy curry with the flavors of coconut creme & choicest spices. Suggest rice with the curry, it is a natural combo. We were curious to know what the Appa pancake was like. So we chose the sweet version as a dessert & were rewarded with a uniquely memorable flavor of sweet coconut jaggery & rice flour. Zero oil! Loved the unique hemispherical pans he prepared the Appas in. Most down to earth, natural ingredients only homestyle food. The owners cum Chefs follow a strict code of food ethics handed down to them by their elders. There is a great story behind the name of the restaurant. We were quite fortunate to have met the owner & learnt so much about 7 Siri & Sri Lankan cuisine & customs & traditions. A very enjoyable afternoon filled with great results from our exploration of a new & enjoyable gem of a restaurant with great & unique original taste of Sri Lankan food. Last but not the least, do first enjoy their unique herbal teas before the meal. Theres a lot to be learnt from eating this very healthy style of food. I learnt they also have special items like vegan & Gluten free, etc. All in all a most recommended place for both lunch as well as dinner. The menu offers a great variety of veg & non veg items. It also gives you the satisfaction of a great meal & yet leaves you yearning to come back for newer variations from the menu once again. I for one am positively returning to relish a few more new items. Do book in advance as it can be quite full in the evenings. Enjoy.

Did not like the food.<br/>Not much taste. The service was poor. Not again thanks.<br/>Used a group on voucher. Wish we didn’t. The food we could order was sub standard.
Tomlane9090
The place is hit and miss. I ordered kiribath a couple of weeks ago and when i came home found it looked and tasted more like pittu or just plain rice flavoured with something, nothing like the kiribath we know, in fact I wondered if they had given me the wrong dish (I ordered two portions and they were both the same). I was very dissapointed. The pol roti was very oily and just a starchy mess. I ordered 4 dishes and it came to around $60, felt a bit ripped off. I do order from here at least once a month to get my srilankan food fix but lately the food has kept putting me off, I might stop going altogether. I think the main reason people keep visiting regardless of the standard is that it's one of the very few srilankan restaurants in town. Please make sure you deliver what's promised as its very dissapointing to be expecting something and getting something else.

Tried the vegetarian Idiyappam Kotthu and Vegetarian kotthu rotti. Very good taste. Good service. Good location. Just felt that quantity was slightly less for the price paid. Overall a must eat.

Lovely owner/chef. Explained well. My friend had the roti and lamb curry, I had the fried rice. Put together my 85 yo friend really enjoyed her meal. She had a coconut something for dessert which she really enjoyed as well. parking a problem on a Friday even with a handicapped pass. Tavelled over an hour to get here but well worth it.
Julia Louise
This place is a favourite of mine, the food is so delicious and has a home cooked feel. They have really clear marking on the menu for gluten/dairy free items which is very helpful. The egg appa is a must try. Sometimes dishes can be a little slow coming out but the quality and affordability of the food makes up for it.
Christina Linette
I ordered the Prawn Curry with Roti through UberEats and I loved it!<br/>I read a few reviews beforehand saying the portion sizes are small but I disagree as the curry was very rich and creamy with six pieces of Prawn, and 3 Rotis, I couldn't finish the whole thing. The flavour was quite different to what I am used to but delicious none the less. Will definitely eat here again!
Vivek
This was my first time with outside srilankan food so it was quite an average meal. The spices are better than indian food however the lamb in the signature dish was little odd. Service was quick and the waiter took time to explain each dish which we appreciated :)
Little Borneo Girl
Our first time here. Ordered a fish curry with roti, prawn curry with roti and Biryani mutton rice to share. Took a bit of time for the food to be served. Price was reasonable although the quantity was a bit too small. Roti was made fresh and was substantial. Fish was only two bite-sized pieces and there were four medium sized prawns in the curry. Picture in the menu was a bit misleading. We (there were two of us) won’t be full with just a main each with that portion served but with the briyani to share, we couldn’t quite finish the biryani and took home a lunch sized pack. A clean and neat place to be if you want to try something different.

After last weeks Indian obsession, this week was Sri Lankan food. One of the most popular Sri Lankan establishments on Zomato, Taste of Sri Lanka was bustling on a Friday night. Quite a small place, it is a nice and cozy environment. <br/><br/>We started with some Sri Lankan fried spring rolls. Crunchy on the outside with a nice chicken curry type filling, the rolls here definitely give Chinese spring rolls a run for their money. The roll itself was flakier while providing a nice crunch. Then came the appas which are thin coconut pancakes with egg and cheese. It feels like you’re eating a light coconut crisp with either egg or cheese flavor. Personally, I think the appas would go down fantastically over a few drinks. Our mains started with the notorious lump rice which was 7 different types of curry mixed with herbed rice. Kottu roti, which is diced up roti and then pan-fried with chicken and vegetables. A roti with mutton curry and soft noodle biscuit to dip with a chicken curry. <br/><br/>Probably because I was a curry noob I struggled to find distinct curry flavors between the 7 curries. For me, the curries all started to taste rather similar. The lump rice was also a bit to wet for me, I prefer my rice dryer. <br/><br/>Talking to my Sri Lankan friend, he mentioned that whenever he dines at Taste of Sri Lanka he’s reminded of home. A truly authentic and fun experience, I would highly recommend this spot for those trying to branch out and understand central Asia cooking better. <br/><br/>Showstopper: Personally the Kottu Roti was a consensus favorite. Packed with flavor and a little kick, you’ll find it hard to resists. <br/><br/>Overall Grade: A-

One of the best place. My Thai friend like the Sri lankan cuisine well and portion is quite large. Staff was very friendly and kind 😘😘🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰

when we arrived at 7 Siri weren't sure what to expect. We had complimentary coconut rice and onion chutney, which was delicious. we ordered the masala tea which was fantastic on a cold day. For our meals we had lump rice. Was a little under whelmed by this dish. most of the components were still cold however, flavours were really good especially the mutton. nice to have a variety and not everyday one eats in banana leaf. Staff were so friendly. we could see why this place was in the metro top 100.

I ordered SriLankan fried rice from your establishment via Uber eats and was very disappointed to find a piece of plastic in my food. While the Uber app allows you to rate your food, I couldn't convey my review in writing. I find the food handling at this place is questionable and substandard. I would not recommend this place.
Vegesaur
Very small inside, but nice decor. Not a huge vegetarian selection. The staff were very friendly, and helped to explain a lot of dishes. The vegetarian food was average though!
Patsi.hudson
Great food Masala dosa is amazing. And the dal with it was just the best. Will be back. Small and intimate space good for small group. Service was great and helpful with menu choices
Saphic Chan
Food is good and served fast. We enjoyed the package of lump rice, shared between 2 of us. That had a little bit of everything all in one dish. Rice, vegetables, egg, chicken, mutton. <br/><br/>The dessert of appam with ice cream was great and very wallet friendly too. A crispy coconut milk based crepe topped with three generous scoops of ice cream, they even had a range of flavours to choose from! We chose mango ice cream and it was delicious! If only they sold this at food trucks, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a hit especially in summer!

Went here today first time for early dinner. Restaurant was quite but you can certainly tell that 7 Siri has something special to offer by seeing all the top cheap eats recognition hanging on the wall. Setup quite simple but nice.<br/><br/>Ordered Dosa, Lumprice, and prawn curry with coconut roti. <br/>Overall dish was quite nice with lumprice being the highlight. We prefer our dish a tiny bit less salty and would like our dosa more crisp in the outside. Portion was quite big and therefore price was ok. <br/><br/>We will possibly come back again at some point to try other dish (we heard that their kiri appa dessert is a must but have no space leave in the tummy) and have another round of their lumprice.
Partha Mukherjee
The best Sri lankan restaurant in Auckland in my opinion. The price is reasonable. It's a family run business. the owner and his wife are really friendly people. Great customer service and great food too. <br/>It has everything it takes to be a good place to eat.

This place is a hidden treasure in Sandringham. As soon as you enter, you notice an authentic feeling which most restaurants don't have. This was actually my first time to try Sri Lanken cuisine and it was a great experience. I had the dosa with meat curry, and it was full of authentic spices and just delicious. The curry rolls were good, only $1 each and crunchy and golden on the outside. The staff here are very friendly and happy to explain more about the food if you are not familiar with this type of cuisine.
Debin Sabu
The Restaurent is small. Can see only four to five tables but don't let this deceive you. The food is amazing. I come from Kerala so it did remind me of home <br/>The foods were not spicy. I loved the rotti it was soft. <br/>The nulluputtu with vegetables curry brought back lot of memories.THANK YOU 😍<br/>I had the buffet for 18 dollars. They did have less deserts a pudding and an ice cream<br/>But I loved the food here <br/>Will be back

With an immense love for seafood, esp. crabs, my friend suggested we all go here one cold night. the restaurant has a list of an entire Sri Lankan cuisine. Although it is has a familiar taste as of the Indian cuisine, the use of coconut milk brings out the richness in the food. Along with the Crab curry we ordered masala dosa and Idiappa chicken biryani. THe Biryani was perfectly cooked and had dryfruits in it which made it richer in taste. The masala dosa was good, nothing exceptional about it. But the crab, oh my god, the first bite was a party to my taste buds. The crab curry and roti are indeed unbeatable.<br/><br/>The restaurant desperately needs some more staff and renovation ASAP, as it is not a dine in place at all. They only have 3 tables and the dining area is so congested. They seriously require a wardrobe makeover as well. I mean, imprinting Dri Lankan culture is fine, but this place yells Sri Lanka (not in an appealing way).<br/><br/>If not everything, I will definitely visit or get a takeaway from here.

First time dining here. <br/><br/>My partner and I were at a loose end for diner, so we thought we would give this place a try. <br/>We arrived around 7pm ish. No one else was dining, we had the place to ourselves.  So it was a nice quiet environment. <br/><br/>We chose Sri Lankan Fried Rice and Lump Rice. Neither of which sound that great, but both come with a selection of curries included. We also shared a Plain Appa. <br/><br/>Both meals came out quickly followed shortly after by the Plain Appa. The rice and curries were full of flavour. Neither were too spicy. I had never eaten an Appa before. It was a nice, next time I'll go for the cheese option. <br/><br/>Quick, easy and cheap. Friendly staff. <br/><br/>Will be back at some stage.

I'm from Sri Lanka . I went there to show my non lankan friends what lankan food is . Guess what they served us re heated biriyani with a skinny as chicken drum on top . Felt so embarrassed. <br/>So not authentic . I know my food . Specially my own food lol. <br/>Only thing good here is cheese koththu and watalappan. That's the only reason I gave 3/5 . If it's not for those 2 dishes , it be 1/5

Finally we visited this place last night.  Oh what a place, it is not what you would expect, small but feels so much like a home.  Run by only 3 staffs including the Husband and Wife Owner Team, all very friendly, down to earth people.  The paratha was made fresh for Miss 5.  3 of us ordered from the menu which included the dose, kuttu rice and the lump rice, these were delicious.  Another meal was from the buffet and this wasn't disappointing either.  Initially we all were going to share our dishes with each other but none of wanted to in the end....yummy.  The food wasn't gluggy or heavy feeling either.  We can't wait to go back and give other dishes a go.  The owner "Poppa" himself came to see how our food was and if we needed anything else. Now how many places would do this?  So yes definitely going back for more.
Chamath Ekanayake
Had dinner at 7 Siri yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The owner, Nandasiri was friendly, welcoming and courteous. We went for the $17 per person buffet and the spread was great and the food was delicious. If you want to experience authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, that also caters to the Kiwi palette,  I highly recommend this restaurant. We are a Sri Lankan family and visited a Sri Lankan restaurant in NZ for the first time and we felt at home. We are glad we picked 7 Siri.
Eye Rolla
The food is incredibly tasty. We got the lumprice (which I highly recommend - the variety of curries offered is superb) and the chicken curry. Pleased the spice lover girlfriend and was manageable (just) for the not so spice loving me. For me the taste made up for battling the heat. Sure the service is pretty basic, but with great food and good prices, who cares?
Disha
What a disappointment indeed. Great expectations falling flat- that's what happened with me. Starting from when we entered to have dinner here, the waiter seemed disappointed that guests have arrived at this hour- it was around 8ish.<br/>I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I have lived in Singapore for a while and love this style of food. I am quite thorough in my research and found friends who recommended Fish ambulthiyal here. When I asked for it, the waiting staff advised it wasn't available. I had to think hard what I wanted alternatively, finally we went for Murtabak(Maas roti Meal-Lamb) and Lensu Roti Meal (Chicken). <br/><br/>The Roti wasn't bad I have to say very authentic but the curry- oh my lord it was overflowing with purified butter (Ghee) like it overpowered any chicken or lamb taste. I have had these meals on a everyday basis during my Uni days in food courts (cheap eats)- but this one was NOT my cup of curry! Murtabak was decent as I was told by my husband.<br/><br/>Food- 1.5 /5<br/><br/>Service- 2.5/ 5<br/><br/>Cleanliness- 1/5<br/><br/>Decor/ Ambiance - 0.5/5 (This place needs REAL DEAL of help here)<br/>-P.S.- If you need to wash your hand there is a narrow flight of stairs that lead up to a dingy corridor which results to a washroom (Nightmare).<br/><br/>I am not usually so hard with my reviews but this one really needs to upscale itself, you can't keep up in the market providing anything just cause there isn't much competition for Sri Lankan restaurants.
Di
First time to try Sri Lanka food in Auckland. I had their lump rice, which is a traditional rice dish in Sri Lanka. Spicy rice wrapped in banana leaf with 6 different curries and egg. It was pretty flavourful, but quite spicy to me. I am gonna try their roti on my next visit.
I_like_pickles
The owners are clearly very passionate about their food.<br/>They are super friendly and helpful with the menu.<br/>The place is quite small but full of character.<br/>I would recommend the Lump Rice. You get a bit of everything and it's great value for the amount of food you get (in variety and in portion size). Very affordable. Dosas aren't their strong point.
ACO
Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food. Bririyani we ordered was the BEST we've ever had. Not like the Indian Biriyanis, spices were not overpowering . The dish had so many flavors and made to the perfection.<br/>Highly recommend this place over other famous biriyani places in the area.
Kieran
This place produces some of the tastiest, warmest ethnic comfort food I think I've ever had.<br/>Our previous go-to in Sandringham was Paradise, after sampling some of 7 Siri takeaway food last night, we have a new go-to.<br/><br/>My experiences with Sri Lankan food is very limited, I can see that changing very quickly thanks to 7 Siri.  I can't comment on the interior/service or anything like that as my partner picked up the takeaways .  The food was amazing though , we ordered the Chicken Biriyani, Lamb Dosa and a Chapatti Roti Meal.<br/><br/>I don't know if this place made it to the Metro Cheap Eats list or not, but it should definitely be in the top 10!<br/><br/>I will see you very soon Siri! (Can't wait)
AngeLi
We just randomly chose to try this restaurant while we were in the area and boy did we find a gem. Their food was awesome! The interior of the restaurant feels like you're not in sandringham... Plus the staff that looked after us was so nice. I highly recommend this place if you want a taste and feel of Sri Lanka!
I'm Hungry
Absolutely mouth watering sri lankan cuisine. Had lump rice  - which had sri lankan flavoured rice and 6 curry all wrapped up in one big banana leaf (Highly recommended) and another srilankan fried rice combo which had 4 curries. So we both tried a large variety of different curries/ bhajis. The food tasted just amazing. I am keen to try kotu roti, appa etc on my next visit. Its a must visit.
Elsie
Nice ambiance for dinner after work. Be sure to get there early because seats are limited. Dosa is good and the lumprice is superb. Lumprice is similar to "Nasi Kandar" in Malaysia but a healthier version.
Julia
I am unsure why this place is touted as 'the Sri Lankan restaurant' in Auckland. I was very disappointed when I tried this with friends a few weeks ago. The string hoppers disintegrated, I could not eat them without a spoon, the roti were chewy, undercooked and tough and the curries were bland. It was unfortunately the worst Sri Lankan meal I have eaten out. I have since been told by two different SL friends that this place is really bad and no one in the SL community goes there.
Jayden Campbell
I was recommended this place from a friends of ours who recently dined in. I was pessimistic at first but I'm glad I gave it a chance. <br/><br/>The Restaurant is nicely decorated with Sir Lankan memorabilia and can easily fit small to medium sized groups.<br/><br/>I was accompanied with my fiance and we were both excited by the food (and price) on the menu.  I ordered a Sir Lankan Noodle with Chicken and my Fiance ordered a Sir Lankan Special which consisted of 6 curries baked in a banana leaf.<br/><br/> <br/>My Noodles were well seasoned with spices and were accompanied with a delicious ketchup which I devoured. I also shared my partners dish which I thoroughly enjoyed.<br/><br/>I will recommend this place as I'm sure everyone will be pleasantly surprised.

The quality of the food here was un-expected, the 3 meals we had were super fresh and very very tasty. The shredded Roti dishes were like something I've never tried before and tasted amazing .We will be back very very soon !
Ravi Paricherla
We went for a dine-in and my wife spotted a small cockroach in the chicken kuttu. Taste wasn't great either. We are never going back there.

Awesome roti and a pretty good biryani too. The thin dosa with curry is one of my all time faves. Restaurant could use more staff. We were waiting and ready to order for a long time before the waitress returned to the front of the store.

Had dinner there as a Sri Lankan friend suggested. The food they serve is quite unique. There's a subtle difference to the indian curry. I ordered a plate of lump rice and was amazed by the quality (quantity). It was an authentic blend of spice which made it so flavourful. It was definitely something that you cannot find in Auckland City.

Lovely little place that has Sri Lanka written all over it's ambience and menu!<br/><br/>We tried a Dosa, Crab curry, Chicken curry (can't remember the exact name), appa's and some herbal tea! <br/>The food tastes great and I love the fact that there is no cream used in the curries. You don't feel bloated after all.<br/><br/>I'll be back here to try the egg appa's next time.
Maheesha
Authentic, fragrant and great value for money.<br/>I speak as someone raised on Sri Lankan cuisine and can say that this is exactly what you would eat in a Sri Lankan household and on the streets of Colombo.<br/>Don't listen to all the negativity here. Yes, service can be a bit slow and the decor is not up to much. Hang in there. The food is worth the wait. These people take scratch cooking to a whole new level. They even grind and roast their own spices unlike many more prestigious establishments. I recently took my Kiwi European family there and they loved it as it was a deliciously different experience compared to your typical curry house serving Chicken Tikka Masala. In the group we had staunch meat eaters, a vegetarian, a mild conservative palette and an adventurous one. All were satisfied. There are great gluten-free offerings too.<br/>I recommend sitting upstairs, ordering either a rice or roti meal and taking home the pol roti (made with coconut and unique to Sri Lanka). The best bit - you'll still have change for $20 whether you eat in a large group or alone.

Best Sri Lanka restaurant I ever tried! Food is so flavorful! Have to try Lump rice for sure! You will not regret at all. Definitely coming back again to try their Biriyani :)

7 Siri should apply for the Auckland record for one of the most consistently understaffed of restaurants. The owner informs us at the end of the menu that the cooking is inspired by his mother's dishes - unwittingly he also seems to have been inspired by the spirit of cooking and service being handled by just one person. On two separate occasions (the first one being three years ago and the last one this week) it was obvious there was only one person operating both the kitchen and front-of-house , and only on another visit did the number of restaurant staff increase gloriously to two overall. Long waits ensue, with the front-of-house frequently empty of waitstaff for aeons. This dreary frustrating state often negates whatever little victories the food scores, besides risking nervous breakdown in the overworked staff. <br/><br/>Decor is a cut above the commonplace - there's a wooden thatched enclosure that tries to channel some straws of rural Lanka but unfortunately there are no Hawaiian-style dancing belles to make you tide over the frequent ennui.<br/><br/> Sri Lankan Fried Rice's paddy product had little flavour, the chicken drumstick fell well short of spanking your tastebuds and the same dish's lamb in a tomato-based stew was ho-hum but beans in coconut cream were a crunchy-soft refreshing delight . The composition reminded me of subcontinental flavours delivered Korean-meal style in an assorted well-balanced range of tastes and textures. "Lumprice" (rice and curries wrapped in banana leaf) sampled here in the past was a tired downer and I was not persuaded to re-order it.<br/><br/>The Sinhalese music on a recent evening was sometimes boring often terrible always lousy, and recalled the worst of Indian music with a curiously Bengali/Assamese slant. <br/><br/>Crab Curry ($25) was the best dish tasted here : with adequate amount of flavourful crab nestled in a delicious broth - it comes complete with rice/average roti with sides of vegetables. Mussel Fried Rice which we wanted to partake was not available, neither were prawns nor squid! The chef-server came around so rarely that we eventually forgot to order egg-cheese Appa which again we had hoped to try here.<br/><br/>The cuisine here is not bad, but as you might have figured out by now, the place plays hard to get in ways that don't quite entice you to keep trying.

Authentic Sri Lankan food with a real kick to it if you ask for it. You can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. It does take a bit of time for food to come out as everything is cooked from scratch. Worth a visit.

It was indian night but me and boyfie ended up having sri lankan's food instead. Heard good stuff about the lumprice so i got that with the non vegeterian selection and he got a roti dish. Lumprice served with banana leave and two different meats mutton and chicken with other vegetables and coconut. It was delicious!!! The mutton was so soft and chicken was really flavourful. The boyfriend also enjoyed his dish. It was some kind of stir fry roti. Very unique and delicious! If you like spicy food make sure u give it a go! It has a good kick of spice in it! We also have a dsh call appa on the side to share, it was almost like egg pancake. So yum! <br/>The service was alright and the place is very small. They are a takeaway place but you can also dine in if you like.

A cool and compact place in this crowded suburb. Staff is courteous, friendly and communicative. Really nice food. Highly recommend this place.

First time I've tried Sri Lankan food & was definitely not disappointed. We shared some curry puffs, which were delicious. I had the Kottu Roti which had so much flavour! Will absolutely be back.

What a cool little place. I went here on a Saturday night. Nice quaint little place with a traditional looking theme. The staff were friendly and the food was pretty good. It was great to watch the guy make the roti in front of you and pop it on the grill. The curries were spicy, but the medium one was spicy and the spicy one was medium....a little confusing. The curries were tasty, the curry roll was delicious and would definitely recommend the roti. The only down side to this place was the serving sizes were quite small for a cheap eat restaurant. The prawn curry @ $20 only had a few prawns. We spent $40 between us and I wasn't exactly full.

I'm still sitting here writing my review. Amazing food. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had the idi appa biriyani and I have to say I couldn't have picked a better dish. Kudos guys. You'll are doing an awesome job!

A group of friends and I, all relatively new to Sri Lankan cuisine, booked on a Saturday night and had a splendid meal. We started with a starter platter (actually an individual plate for each of us with one of each starter) - delicious! After much bartering, we settled on the lumprice, kottu roti, idi appa with chicken curry, idi appa kottu, and prawn curry with roti. All were very very good, and we had a fun time sampling each other's sides/condiments. The lumprice was judged to be particularly good and a nice selection of typical curries. The idi appa (rice noodles) were something just a little different than the typical curry+rice or curry+roti you might get at other restaurants; I love noodles so I thought these were perfect. <br/><br/>Service was good - although the place was quite cool on our very cold winter night. We only wish the restaurant was BYO or licensed, although I'm not sure what would have gone best with the meal - perhaps a nice cold beer?<br/><br/>If you're new to Sri Lankan cuisine, I'm sure you can't go wrong at 7 Siri. It's affordable, too: all that food for five people totalled around $110.

I took my Sri Lankan friend for lunch from the other side of the city. She enjoyed the curry puffs for entree and I the spring rolls. My friend enjoyed the egg plant and I the lamb curry for the main course.  Service was attentive and my friend enjoyed her outing. Surroundings pleasant  with little thatched cottage look. Will return.

Our second time to 7 Siri. We were first introduced to this restaurant by our Sri Lankan friend. Today we just introduced this place to another 3 new people. :)<br/><br/>Very satisfying and delicious dinner.<br/>We had the Lump Rice, Kottu Roti, Kiri Appa.<br/>Works out to be around $15-20 pp.<br/><br/>The lady is friendly, but service was a little slow this evening. Other than that, we had a great evening here.

Love everything I've tried from 7 siri, and adore the service. If you havent been before, try the $20 platter combo which gives a taste of a few options. Recommended to all, especially those who like Indian food but enjoy a lighter option. inspired me to cook some sri lankan at home, which I thank them for :-)
Jamez Hill III
Had takeout trying both their chicken and beef curries with two vegetarian curries on rice. The beef curry was succulent and had enough heat that wasnt overbearing 👏😄 The chicken curry was mild and not as flavourful as the beef. The vegetable curries however were good, tho a little bland but accompanied the curries well. The dish would've been better if I dined in perhaps.

Have not had a lot of exposure to authentic Sinhalese cuisine but I liked this place. The food was quite tasty and the service was nice. If you like the Tamil side of the cuisine, they make decent South Indian food as well. Food 3.5/5, Service 3.5/5, Price 3.5/5, Portions 3.5/5, Location 3.5/5

WOW! definitely not what I expected. I got the sri lankan fried rice, it came with beef, chicken, dhal and long bean curry. Full of flavor, wish I had gotten more. Just two tiny gripes, wish the food was temperature hot and that we could pick the vege curries other than that food was sooooo derucious! I will definitely be a repeat offender :)

Our first visit tonight - checked in, for pick up. Daughter had read about this in Metro she like me love trying new foods and places...this one is a treasure to keep! Lumprice. Aromatic rice, boiled egg, chicken leg, some lovely spicy curries all wrapped in a banana leaf.<br/>Mutton dosa meal. A pancake with mutton and veges inside and delectable chutney.<br/>Our next visit we may dine in so we can feast on more beautiful cuisine of Sri Lanka.<br/>A must to try for sure!!!<br/>

We often get takeaways from here, but we have had the most lovely dining experience as well. There isn't much room to grab a seat but well worth it. Nonetheless, the food here blows it out of the park and especially for those spice fiends out there--look no further! Smashing srilankan food!

One of the best eatery in sandringham. See sandringham is famous for many Restaurants with Indian cuisine, places like Paradise and Bawarchi that one forgets to look at other restaurants nearby. 7 Siri is one such place. just wanted to try the cuisine so we stepped into the place, it was small but it had homely and a traditional vibe within. The food was nothing but AMAZING. People know that the Asian subcontinent is famous for its its spices and spicy food, but spices is not just CHILLI and this restaurant proves it. Highly recommended it to anyone who would love to get mouthful flavoursome taste. The biryani was amazing had tears in my eyes after the first spoonful. The staff is also very friendly and humble. Overall one of the best place if one wants to try out authentic subcontinental spicy food.
Renor Kay
good food and service. Special india food restaurant <br/>Many peoples like place. And my favorite restaurant in auckland. very very busy every day so you need book.
Lee
Very tasty curries and the lumprice is a must try. However, I've had better chapatis from other places. Their chapatis are small and very pale in colour and not crisp. Quite expensive too for a piece of chapati.
Reshma
7 Siri, an authentic Sri Lankan Restaurant at Sandringham. I have been to this place a couple of times. The APPA (Fermented Rice battered pancakes) which was prepared in front of us was nice and tasty. As Sri Lankan cuisine obviously consists of coconut in all forms, I had a chance to try spicy grated coconut along with Idi Appa Kottu. The lamb curry and idi appa made an awesome combination. The dessert Watalappan (Coconut custard pudding) was delicious and I would recommend this to anyone after having a light dinner. <br/><br/>The ambiance was exceptional as the decor had the theme of a coastal eatery. The place was a bit congested and would have been better if spacious. Had a nice chat with the owner about the culture and Sri Lankan Cuisine. Prompt Service. A must try Sri Lankan cuisine in Auckland.
Bigfatdada
Very very good. Our first Sri Lankan meal and loved it. The lump rice is a must and the kids loved idi appa kottu noodles. Pol roti was great with a spicy kick. Top 100 cheap eats in Metro and I can see why.
Anup Choudary
Had a good overall experience eating at this place, last week with my friend. Had the IDI APPA, though i have earlier had the IDIYAPPAM (From South Indian Cusine) which was similar to this one, but the food and the curry was YUMM. On the other hand, the coconut stuff which they provided with the dish was a bit HOT in terms of spiciness, though i informed them the food to be of MILD spiciness. In terms of service, it was good because the waiters waived off the time by having a conversation with us. Ambiance seemed to be authentic, as the main area was completely resembling as it should be in a coastal country like Sri Lanka. Was happy that I came to know about the history of this restaurant's establishment from the owner. I would definitely recommend everyone to try IDI APPA from 7 Siri. :)

Sandringham seems to be the place to go for cheap & tasty food and 7 Siri falls perfectly into that category. They seem to be the only (I may be wrong) Sri Lankan restaurant in Auckland.<br/><br/>7 Siri is tiny, with only 3 tables to sit at, but extremely cozy. The ambience is fantastic when it's dark outside and you're in a small warm area. We started the night off with ginger tea and curry puffs. The tea was quite spicy and smelt amazing. The puffs were very flaky and were stuffed full of veges.<br/><br/>I ordered the vegetarian lumprice & my bf ordered chicken biryani. We also ordered the flaky roti. The meals were both very big and authentic. I was quite excited how mine was in a 'parcel' that I got to unwrap. There were multiple vege curries with rice inside. <br/><br/>We shared the biscuit pudding to finish which was quite rich but refreshing after all the spicy food we had. The two owners came out to talk to us about their food & they explained how they try hard to make their food taste homemade. The seemed genuinely interested to know that we enjoyed everything.<br/><br/>Overall, such a great experience. Totally understandable that they have had 3 Meteo cheap eats awards! We will definitely be back, so many tempting options on the menu!
Mmmfood
This is quite a cute little restaurant and as far as I know the only of its kind in Auckland! The people that run the place are absolutely lovely! The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable.
Hayley Allen
Always leave this place feeling so full for such a good price. The 'happy healthy' kind of full too. Their food has so many intricate flavours and every little component of the dish stands out. Their Idi Appa Kottu is my go-to. The staff are friendly and helpful and really love to share their knowledge of Sri Lankan food. They make me smile every time! The little crumbed curry rolls are also a must.
Hannah Shaw
Absolutely the tastiest food I had for a very long time. We had a takeaway but would definitely eat in there. Very clean and quaint. The hostess/chef was very pleasant and although she was serving as well as cooking she did a fantastic job. <br/><br/>The food was very authentic. I recommend the lump rice, the prawn curry and the Sri Lankan style fried rice. But wouldn't be afraid to try anything on the menu after our experience
Rose
Tasty food! Although I wouldn't recommend the egg roti - it's very eggy, but I guess I should have expected that... <br/>Lumprice was yum. Would be interested in purchasing some of the funky Sri Lankan soft drinks lined up on the counter, but it wasn't clear if these were decoration or actually on offer...
Dan
On a recent trip up to Auckland, we decided to give it a try and it was well worth it. The place looks really nice considering the size of the place. The couple who own and run the place are very friendly and enthusiastic about their food. The prices are really cheap and the food has so much flavour. I will be coming here again.
Laura Nixon
We come here quite a bit, the vegetarian lump rice is amazing! You can see the roti being made in front of you. Both dining in and takeaway are nice. Owners are very friendly and helpful if you dont know what to order.
IH
As a Sri Lankan I'm appalled at how the owner over charges his customers for meals. I called in for an order and asked him the price he quoted the incorrect amount when I specifically repeated the amount to the owner and when I asked him why is it more when my calculation was correct.<br/><br/>To make matters worse the owner deliberately hung up on the customer when asked why he over charged the customer. <br/><br/>This isn't the FIRST time he's done this and I'm extremely disappointed. I will never go to his restaurant again. And will make sure to let others know.
Deena
We had the lump rice, a couple of rotis and something called kottu roti which is chopped cabbage, chicken, spices and bits of roti stir fried together. This came out first and tasted not too bad. When my lump rice came out a little while later I opened up the package to see an assortment of items sitting on a pile of yellow rice. It certainly looked appetising but...it was overwhelmingly dry. I was expected an explosion of flavour in my mouth after reading so many positive reviews on this site. Every item on the plate was dry, even the chewy lamb or beef pieces which appeared to have been cooked in gravy were dry. I was looking forward to the chutney coming out with the roti we ordered for some well needed saucing, but this was dry too! <br/><br/>The other problem was the timing of the meals, I think this is something obvious and easy for restaurants to get right - don't leave one patron empty handed while their counterpart is munching down their meal.<br/><br/>I'm giving this place 3 stars because I'm not sure what Sri Lankan food is supposed to taste like. Perhaps they've hit the nail on the head, and if so then it's just not my bag.
Leanne
First time trying Sri Lankan food and I'm glad my husband and I stopped in at 7 Siri!!<br/><br/>The food was fantastic!! I was very surprised how filling the meal was but it didn't leave me feeling heavy like other cuisines can do.<br/>The food was largely dairy and gluten free which was nice to find out. It can be hard to find places that have great tasting food that is gluten and diary free.<br/><br/>The service was very warm and welcoming and they helped explain the menu. They were very helpful in suggesting dishes that would give us an authentic taste of Sri Lanka.<br/><br/>'7 Siri' will definitely be my go to place when I need a Sri Lankan fix.
Steve
We drove around looking for a place to eat. We stopped out side 7Siri and had a look and went in. Probably one of the best dining choices we have made in a long long time. Full of flavours and very filling. We will return.
Adeline
Not bad - Love their version of briyani rice (which is quite different from what you'd get from Top in Town or Paradise) - flavourful and very generous with the ingredients. This was the lump rice, by the way.<br/>The owner (I presume) was friendly and kind enough to bring us through the menu and even threw in some free papadoms - so that was pretty cool customer service.
Amanda
Went there last night and had a delicious lump rice and my partner a BBQ style dish. The service was wonderful and the lovely man talked us through the entire menu which was great as we have never had Sri Lankan food before. Very impressed with the whole evening. The food was exciting and full of flavour. They cater well for vegetarians and those on gluten free diets. We will definitely be back here again, a great little restaurant!
NomNomPanda
Lump Rice was beautifully presented in a banana leaf as others have pointed out. Some good flavours here, but found everything a little sweet. The vegetarian curry and rice we ordered were the same curries as in the Lump Rice, i.e. eggplant, potato and coconut. We also ordered the Roast Chicken Kottu Roti, which had shredded roti and vegetables on a sizzling platter, which again looked better than it tasted, reminiscent of sweet and sour sauce. Ginger teas were watery and slow to arrive. Staff were friendly and restaurant had great atmosphere (though only 4 tables), but am tempted to give only 2 stars because there were plastic flaps in place of a door, making the place was absolutely freezing, especially when someone comes in or out (frequent occurrence because of takeaway orders).
Maria
This is the best Sri lankan restaurant in New Zealand! we had the most amazing food and the service was fantastic too. They were all very lovely and helpful. <br/><br/>The Lump Rice is a must try!<br/><br/>Please go and try it out! i'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Marie
Had takeaways from Taste of Sri Lanka tonight, absolutely wonderful authentic Sri lanka. We are a young couple living in the area and will certainly be back to try more of this delicious food. We had Lump Rice wrapped in banana skin with 3 different types of curries, absolute devine. Also cheese Roti and chicken Roti which was also wonderful. I rang our order through on the phone and when we went to pick it up the staff were very friendly. Well deserved 5 stars...we will be back.

Great Sri Lankan food and so far the best Sri Lankan restaurant in Auckland. This restaurant is owned by Sri Lankans so the food is authentic. I ordered Kottu and Appa for my family and they were yummy. Recommended to all.!
Kiwi Food Wonders
Sandringham is the place to head to when you fancy a curry. The spices and heady aromas mingle on the suburban streets to entice the punters in. And 7 Siri is no exception.<br/><br/>One thing that does set this place apart though, is the origination of the curries. For 7 Siri serves Sri Lankan cuisine; a more complex, light & spice-based style of eating in comparison to traditional Indian. The front window proudly displays large "Dairy Free" and "Gluten Free" signs, and you can eat a healthy, well-balanced meal here with a good mix of meat & vegetable curries.<br/><br/>The interior could be described as "cosy"; with only 4 tables, you may end up sharing with your neighbours on a busy night. There are bamboo thatched areas, and creeping ivy all adding to a jungle feeling, but let's face it, you don't come here for the decor.<br/><br/>What you do come for is the food. Delicious curry rolls, curry puffs & spicy skewers for starters; the legendary lump rice, masala dosa & a mouth-watering array of seafood curries such as prawn, crab or squid. Some of the more exotic dishes such as Appa, a crepe/roti hybrid formed into a crispy edible bowl to hold curries, eggs, or a delicious mix of vegetables & sliced roti are worth taking a chance on. There is even an icecream version!<br/><br/>The owner, Nandasiri Alwis, is more than happy to talk you through the colorful menu, answer any of your questions and tell you wonderful tales of Sri Lanka & his love for his adopted New Zealand. Easy on the pocket and healthy for the body & the soul; a great little neighborhood secret.<br/><br/>If you liked this review, check out more like it at: http://kiwifoodwonders.com

After hearing great things about 7 Siri I went to check it out for myself on Friday night. We were the first patrons to arrive, which was lucky as we had not booked and there are not many tables, I will definitely book in the future as it filled up soon after we arrived. The staff were very friendly asked if we eaten Sri Laknan cuisine before. As we had not our sever went through the menu with us which was extremely helpful. It was very hard to choose and we kept saying, "we'll have to try that next time". We decided on the lamb Kottu Roti which is chopped roti, egg, veges and meat fried together on a hotplate and Lump rice which is spicy rice wrapped in a banana leaf with 3 meat curries and 3 vegetable curries. Both dishes came out quickly and were delicious. For dessert we had Kiri Appa a sweet cup shaped pancake with a tasty coconut mixture on top. I will definitely be going back to 7 Siri, hopefully very soon, to try out the rest of their menu. The service was wonderful, the food delectable and prices extremely reasonable ($32 all up).

Dumpling Club is spreading its wings, and venturing into other ethnic offerings. Makes sense, when we are surrounded by some of the best South Asian eateries around. 7 Siri Taste of Sri Lanka has been well received, scoring very positive reviews from NZ Herald, and other sites. <br/><br/>A very warm welcome greeted us, along with an introduction to Sri Lankan food and the menu. Sri Lankan food shares similarities with South Indian cuisine, but with some unique spice mixtures. The servings at 7 Siri are very generous, so you may want to get say 5 dishes to share among 6 diners. <br/><br/>We started our culinary adventure with chicken curry roll, delicious curried meat and veggies encased in a thin pastry skin and deep-fried. <br/><br/>This was followed the highly recommended lump rice, a smorgasbord of flavours (3 meat and 3 veggie curries, with a selection of chutneys) on turmeric rice. The lump rice came in banana leaf package, reminiscent of the traditional serving style. The brinjal curry was especially tasty, and they gave us extra to take away, - talk about great customer service! <br/><br/>The kottu roti has chopped up pieces of roti cooked with spices, vegetables and your choice of meats. This was an intriguing dish; the different textures worked well. <br/><br/>I especially liked the appa kottu, the bowl shaped versions of dosa, made from fermented rice flour, and filled with a spicy vegetable and meat mix. You can get appa plain, with cheese or even ice-cream as a dessert. <br/><br/>I always enjoy masala dosa, a fermented rice flour pancake with a spicy potato filling, and served with sambar (spicy vegetable stew) and dry coconut chutney. I have to admit that I prefer the versions I had at two other South Indian restaurants, Santhiya’s in Mt Roskill and Satya in Sandringham which had crispier dosas and chutneys which are thick sauces in consistency. <br/><br/>Something different is the poll roti (with chutney and curry). These are roti with addition of coconut and vegetables. I've never had coconut in a roti before, this takes some getting used to. The curry was delicious, nicely spiced and perfect for a winter afternoon. <br/><br/>Sri Lankan food beckons with new flavours and textures, which makes a welcomed introduction to the Auckland food scene. The food is exceptionally well-priced and the atmosphere is most congenial. It is authentic cooking by passionate restauranteurs.<br/><br/>http://easyfoodhacks.blogspot.in/2012/08/7-siri-taste-of-sri-lanka-sandringham.html
