Heard they had changed the PIzza back to thin and crispy, i was sceptical but was a great pizza, crispy and full of flavour now - my wife who hadn't enjoyed the last menu totally enjoyed this one and the mouse was awesome, super friendly and professional staff - no idea what other reviews were on about as we checked before going back after the last time when they had changed the pizza . Loving it going back heaps.
I been there this monday with my freinds, Service really nice, Freindly staaf and even All food was superb and delicious. Rich chocolate mousse so awesome and pizzas great. I already decide, I am going to celebrate my birthday in berretta next year.
Has rebranded to Beretta but seems to have the same staff and a similar menu (pizza and sangria).
I was a bit suspect of pizza as a dinner choice because being dairy free (lactose intolerant) has sort of sucked the fun out of pizza for me. However, the pea / goats curd / courgette pizza hit the spot.
Bonus points for the staff who were awesome.
One of my favourite pizza place in Auckland.
Thin and crunchy crust, tasty toppings, great flavours. The duck one is my favourite.
The desserts are also amazing and don't forget to try their delicious sangrias!
This is one of my favourite places on the shore. I love their pizza flavours and the desserts are amazing. My number one spot to catch up with friends.

Id heard good things about Blunderbuss and we were heading to Taka for a late dinner. We both love pizza and ordered the funghi pesto and Margarita, but all of them looked delicious! The thin bases were super crisp and yummy, the pesto pizza had a little too much rocket for my liking and definitely not enough cheese. The margarita was seasoned well and was cheesy all the way to the edges.
I normally wouldnt choose sangria but the waitress recommended the fragola sangria and it was so good! So fruity and refreshing which was perfect since it was such a hot day.
Great food and love the sangria drinks. Kids menu is good to have as well. Loud music is a bit of a put off (maybe just me being old) but otherwise it is a good place to have pizza and drinks.
Came here last Friday for a early dinner. First impressions weren't the best for a number of reasons. Firstly, we sat at the front of the restaurant but as all the staff are at the back we weren't served. When we went to ask for a menu we were told we had to sit at the back of the restaurant, which was fine but ideally we would have been told when we first arrived. Secondly, seating within the commons is a little confusing, as is which counter you order from, but this is probably because it was our first time.
Service was fairly friendly and very fast after ordering. For drinks we had a hot chocolate and a beer, which were reasonably priced. For mains we shared the quattro stagioni pizza, shoestring fries and pollo fritti. All the food was lovely and far better than we had expected! The pizza was lovely, nice and crispy and reminiscent of pizzas you get in Europe. The fries were nice too, nothing special but the truffle salt made them definitely. The fried chicken was great and the chipotle aioli a perfect dip for them. Portions were bigger than we expected too so had more than enough food.
Overall we had a good experience. Food was very good but the service at the beginning let it down slightly. We probably wouldn't come again just because the menu is quite limited for mains, being just pizza, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.
Thin, healthy (relatively) pizzas !
Their entrees are also delicious
Casual but attentive staff and a very urban atmosphere
Love the side lamps and old school chairs when you walk in!
They often have grab one deals so watch out !
Loved this place, the atmosphere was great and the pizza was sensational. We even went next door to the bar for a few beers afterwards! Will be going back😁
Love their pizzas and squid rings. Sangrias are also a must.
Love Blunderbuss. The pizzas are excellent.
