Had breakfast here 3 days in a row whilst travelling. The service was great. The coffee was good. The menu selection was excellent hence I kept going back. I really enjoy this place and will be back during my next visits to Auckland.

Excellent place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Plenty of seats and options for all dietary needs. I'm keto and has plenty options and also flexiterian with a wider range of options. Coffee is also excellent.

We had a lovely breakfast here on Sunday morning. The kids loved their pancakes and we enjoyed our French toast, salmon sandwich and eggs Benny.

Good food, fish of the day was not bad, also octopus salad was yummy, fresh scallops. Best place to go, eat with a good sea view, nice services, chatting with a good beer, that's all about it.

Definitely lived the quality of the food and the service. only once i have a little bad quality food but i was alright coz things happen. overall, A+ at everything. great sitting arrangement as well. perfect for a saturday or a sunday brunch 😊

Very good breakfast for a reasonable price. Nice waiter. You can sit at the street (not to busy) when sun is shining. Sierra big breakfast and Omeletts recommended. Capuchino is very good. Reasonable Prices Big breakfast 21,8 NZD (12,3€) Omelette 16,8 NZD Highly Recommended

Nice location at the edge of The Viaduct. Coffee was ok, food was tasty enough although the passion fruit cake was a bit dry. Overall atmosphere is ok, prices what youd expect for central Auckland. Staff were friendly and engaging. Not too busy on a Monday lunchtime, but not at all empty. Sparrows are quite daring as they come right up to tables to scavenge food

Just landed by cruise ship, came looking for an open cafe. Stumbled across Sierra coffee. Had eggs Benedict and french toast, both with coffee! YUMMY! Fairly quiet location, no music to deal with. Would come again. Thank you

Really impressed with this café. Fantastic spot near the water with tables outside you can take advantage of the sun. The inside is fresh, clean and modern and the prices are really reasonable. $12.50 for my granola for example..... the coffee tasted great also. Overall, well impressed and will be back. Lots of options on the menu and fast and friendly service also

I ordered the chicken schnitzel with burnt butter and capers. I had about 5 1cm cubes of chicken schnitzel which was hidden under a large handful of salad. It wasnt burnt butter, just an oily mess for $18 !!!! The only drinks available was organic fruit and fizzy drinks starting at around $6 each so I had water. Very expensive for what you get. Very disappointed and will never return.

I go here about 2-3 mornings a week and always just order a coffe but sometimes I get hungry and order food too. I usually come with my mum who is a real hot chocolate snob and this is her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE! They use good cocoa and not just sickly sweet and weak chocolate

Cabinet food is ok however please do yourself a favor and never order from the menu here. Please refer to my photos and you'll see that my poached might as well have been hard boiled, mushrooms were stale and the only thing I ate were the fresh tomatoes! Coffee is ok but I definitely will not be rushing back here anytime soon. Unfortunate as the staff are really friendly and the place is nice and clean but the food was a major disappointment.

We ordered a couple of Salmon Quiches for a quick bite over a lunch meeting, but they were served lukewarm and the centre was room temperature on both servings. The staff reheated them, but offered no comment on the inconvenience as we sat waiting. The biggest concern was the fact that the owner sat hacking, coughing and spluttering with an obvious cold or flu as she began folding serviettes around a stack of knives and forks for the table settings. I'm not a health and hygiene inspector, but it's a no go from me.

Appalling customer service, the manager actually started an argument with my mum who simply enquired as to why her meal arrived looking nothing like how it was advertised (no feta cheese, no salsa), and THEN wanted to charge her for it (although she didn't eat a bite). The coffee is consistent and the other waitresses are fine - but otherwise I'd keep walking, unless you want to have a confrontation with management over a substandard, falsely-advertised meal. There is absolutely no excuse for a manager getting heated with a customer over their own poor standards, and then failing to rectify it.

This place is really average and overpriced for what it is. Their breakfast menu isn't particularly good and their drinks are very overpriced. I'd suggest keep walking!

Absolutely disgusting service and food. If I can rate it with zero or negative, I would. My friend and I ordered the pasta of the day ($16.80), a chilli spaghetti, and was served with a tiny bowl of poorly made oily stirfry noodle. What's worse, I was then served the wrong drink and was charged double the price of the one that I wanted ($7.80) and the drink was heavily diluted and watery. But they won't accept their mistake and won't make any correction. The coversation just dragged on since the lady manager (i think she's the manager) don't speak much English and we're down to visual aids showing me glasses and pitchers and bottles and fruits. Total waste of time and money.

Showed up a little late as we tried to find somewhere to eat. This was tnot my first time here, but my first time ordering from the menu. I got the French Toast...It was the best french toast I have had so far! And good view. :)

A lovely place to sit outdoor and have a cup a tea/coffee. Usually its busy during the weekends with lots of tourist prefer to sit here for breakfast and some people do organised meetups here. Scrambled eggs ,mushrooms ,toasts are the only thing which i have tried here but its nicely prepared.

I love having meetings here, the coffee is always amazing and I enjoy the great service provided by "Momma" and the family (and friends). The Cafe is owned by the Mother and Daughter and I've got to know them a little as I frequent the place due to friendly and prompt service and great coffee. I've eaten there a couple of times for lunch and brunch on the weekend - sitting outside in the sun was lovely and the interior is great too. It's a bit of a hidden gem in the city, you can get away from the hussle bussel and enjoy.

This place is great. Not sure why the reviews are so bad! The food was delicious, very generous sizes for central city and was all very fresh and healthy! We had the raw energy salad, chicken panini, mince on toast and Thai beef burger and all were delicious! They are open to menu changes and great for gluten free requests. Will be back!

So I just witnessed one of the staff hand over a savoury scone to a man who looked like he could be homeless. No fanfare or show for everyone to see. The man couldn't believe that someone had offered this to him in a nicely wrapped bag for him to take with him - maintaining his dignity. Random Act of Kindness in practice. I'm truly impressed by this service. Also love the Chai Latte and have it all the time - spicy and extra hot to go..

Wanted to try something different from my usual Japanese or Vietnamese. Didn't want to have any bread items, so went for the mix n match salad option. I opted for Caesar salad and teriyaki chicken salads. The large portion was very filling. The surprise factor was the salad comes with 3 bread sticks. So good salad option and will go back again.

I usually come to sierra viaduct in the weekdays to get my coffee which is great. So i decided to try out the new menu they brought out. So i ordered a full Monty with scramble eggs . Food came out fast and portion size was great and the scramble eggs were buttery and creamy. The best eggs i have had for a long time. So i decided to take my friends over to sierra for brunch. I ordered the full Monty again thinking its a great tasty dish. To my shock the breakfast that ate in the weekday looked totally different to what i got served. The plate was messy no flavor in the mushrooms, toast bit on the dark side. And the scramble eggs were blend, overcooked. So i will not be coming in the weekends again.
