Honestly this is top tier pizza in Auckland super fresh with great ingredients, we got the Pulcinella and the Francesca’s choice both were great but I did like Pulcinella the best. We also got the Tiramisu and the Chocolate Lava cake, don’t skip the lava cake this was super good. Check this place out! I also took a photo of the menu cause it was hard to find a good copy.

Best pizza in auckland by far, enjoyed it a lot my italian girlfriend was so happy she felt a little bit at home traveling through flavors, took a little to come out but totally worth it! Not much space inside and decided to take away and eat it in the car, 100% recommended, super friendly staff and the chef is from napoli! Great guy too!

Hands down for the best pizza in the hood! The chef is so generous on the topping and their pizza base is one of the best! Had it so many times but still miss it sometimes, think am going to have one for tonight.

Absolutely the best pizza I’ve had in Auckland up to now. I’ve gone here a few times and I’m not convinced calling ahead does any good. Any time I’ve done this they didn’t start making it until I was there, even this most recent time when I purposefully arrived 15mins after they said the pizza would be ready – they still hadn’t even started making it. The chef here is quite a firecracker, I suggest just going there early and enjoying the show while you wait. It’s worth it for how good the pizza is. Tiramisu is great too.

I always try “Francesca’s choice” that’s my fav or the prawn pizza is 10/10

One of the best pizzas in Auckland. Called ahead on an early Friday night and it was ready in 15 minutes. The Ciro’s Choice was delish and went down a treat at the nearby Pt Chev beach!

This place is the best thing that has ever happened to Auckland. Even simple Marinara is orgasmic, also the ones with eggplants are outrageously good. Place is quite tiny with a few tables and chairs, you can see Ciro working on each pizza and argue with his family over each order. Might take a bit longer than what they tell you over the phone, as they tend to get very busy and their timing is Italian, too. But it's always worth the wait, pastries are amazing, too.

Very disappointed. Sure, the one and only guy was busy, but after 40 minutes for two pizzas, both were not what we ordered. He forgot about the anchovies for our Margherita. And 2nd pizza should have been Ciro's Choice and we got something completely different. Returned that one but no time for another lengthy wait so proceeded to eat the Margherita. Only way to eat it was to roll it up because the pizza base was so limp. We were expecting an authentic Italian yummy pizza. <br/><br/>Hey don't rely on your memory alone mate. Employ someone else to take orders on busy nights. That may save you dollars in the long run and avoid disappointed patrons.<br/><br/>We will never go here again.

This is the real deal!! Amazing crust, simple and tasty. A little on the pricy side but very authentic. <br/><br/>Only one thing which was really disappointing was we called ahead and went at the time told to us and wait almost ONE HOUR after we got there for one pizza! This guy is obviously running on Italian time...would definitely make me consider going there again and you can get similar pizzas elsewhere (try Dante’s in Ponsonby central)

Didn’t expect too much but was pleasantly surprised by the food. The hosts are warm and welcoming. Doesn’t feel like going to a takeaway or a restaurant but more like walking into family but... have to pay for food. This adorable husband and wife team manage the pizzeria by themselves and the food tastes nothing like the commercial pizzas you are used to, quite authentic. Pasta absolutely melts in the mouth and delicious. Always seems busy so will pay to phone order first. Will definitely visit again and again.

I called on the phone placing my order 30 minutes prior when they said the pizza would be available. When I came to pick the pizza up they hadn’t even started making my order, they forgot and made me wait. The pizza and dessert was good but the service was terrible

Best pizza I've had outside of Europe. Theoretically it would be great if there was more seating, but for that they'd have to take on more staff, which could jeopardise the magic happening in that tiny kitchen. It's the only reason I ever go to Pt Chev

What an absolutely amazing pizza and pasta! We had the pucinella pizza and spaghetti with meatballs and we are two happy customers. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The pizza had a puffy crisp thin base and delicious sausage. Plus we loved watching the pizzas being made while we waited. Thank you for a wonderful meal that transported our tastebuds to Italy. Delightful!

The menu is diverse and the food is top notch. Fresh ingredients and made to order. Seating available. Affordable prices. And the delicious smells that hit you when you walk in are to die for.

Excellent wood fired thin base pizza. Bolognese pasta with meatballs was some of the best I have ever had. Extremely limited seating space but the owners were very accommodating setting up a second table for us. It's a mum and dad operation so can be slow. Next time I'll be ringing an order through ahead.

I love Francesca's pizza, (yet to try the pasta but have heard good things) - it's as authentic Napolese Italian pizza as you're gonna get - Ciro is from Naples, Francesca is his daughter who is often serving at the counter in the teeny wee shop front. Definitely takeaway recommended, you can take it down to the beach! (Point Chev Organic wines is across the road and has some good 🇮🇹 wines!) They get MEGA busy and he is making his pizza from scratch so allow a good 30-45 minutes (Phone order call ahead) BUT SERIOUSLY it's really worth the wait. I recommend the Capricosa, anchovies, olives etc. YUM. And feel good supporting local :)

This place is truly a hidden gem.<br/>Undoubtedly one of the best pizzas I've ever tried. So authentic and falvourful. We ordered a Margarita with extra cheese & Pizza Pescatora, which was topped with motz, prawns, calamari & mussels. The seafood one was so damn delicious.. juicy & rustic at the same time.

Francesca pizzeria is a delightful niche pizzeria in Pt Chevalier. The pizzas looked and tasted great . Service was wonderful . Even with the staff / owners come to check up on us as we stayed outside sampling the delight. Will visit again.

Had Primavera, Pulcinella and Margherita. All three were very good with Pulcinella being awesomest. Pizzas are huge and toppings are generous. I also like that their menu is small, specialized and differs quite a bit from a regular pizzeria.

If you want a taste of real Italy, then this is the place.. beautiful margherita pizza and lava cakes. Unfortunately not a lot of selection in drinks or menu with the exception of seafood. But however little the store and menu selection, its made with luv & fresh ingredients nothing fancy, no MSG crap, just simple herbs, fresh mozzarella. Owner keeps up raging chatter, quite boastful of his opinion on neighborly businesses. It's a long drive for a pizza but it leaves Domino's down the road in last lag of the race.

Nice local joint. Great, authentic pizza. The pasta is nice too. Very sweet folks run the place. I asked for a pizza that was not on the menu, and it was no problem at all. If you're in Pt. Chev, check it out (and ask about the coin in the floor).
