This hidden gem in Te Atatu is a delightful cafe. My friend and I initially went for coffee but couldn't resist having brunch due to the fantastic food quality and generous portions. I'm a frequent visitor to this Cafe, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, whether it's morning coffee with Breakfast or afternoon Lunch. The addition of Sheesha nights has been a brilliant move, adding a new dimension to the already cozy ambiance.

What a treat! Just moved to the Peninsula and thought I'd check the food out immediately. This smashed avo on toast is just divine! The Dukkah and sun-dried tomatoes really give it that extra oomph. Also, the courtyard is super cute, spacious, and sunny. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Loved it!

Te Atatu has many cafes, and while this one is not the closest location wise for me, I still walk the extra distance and refer to it as my "local". It is amazing. Great coffee, amazing service, lovely atmosphere. Food is fantastic, special shout out for the best fish tacos!

The salmon egg benedict is with actual salmon which I like. Just find the benedict could do with more sauce to go with the huge potato roasties. Ordered egg bennie with salmon. Got a overcook fishy salmon plus overcook egg. Ordered fries also, and the waiter ask if we want curly or normal, just to found out when we paid curly fried cost 2.50 more without telling us! What a rip off!! <br/><br/>We order 4 things from and have 2 gold membership card, told the waiter and she said its fine. When we paid, the other staffs said we can use 2 gold membership. Apparantly there is a rule u need to order 5 things from the menu to be able to unlock 2 membership. Not sure if its true!!! Person really rude trying to explain it saying that we should know better bla bla bla... <br/><br/>I used to come here several time, and used to be really good. Sadly definitely not coming back anymore eventho they have such a nice outdoor area for kids.

Delicious Food Store? Not sure about that. Just paid $190 for breakfast for 7 people where 4 out of 7 meals were wrong. One of us didnāt even end up eating at all because of the muck up, and it was her birthday! All the food came out in dribs and drabs over at least 30 minutes. When I asked them to take one meal off the receipt to compensate, the rude manager refused, argued and even called us liars. Every plate still had food on it, so there wasnāt much to argue about.

We paid $189 for 7 meals, 4 of which were wrong, two were fixed and one came back wrong again so my aunt, whoās birthday it is today hence the family brunch, ended up not eating at all. When we discussed with the manager, he was rude and arrogant, blamed us and called us liars. Not one plate was fully finished. The pancakes are thick, dry and more like bread. The grilled breakfast was bland, boring and all the toast was burnt. If you do go, I would not recommend the blue berry pancakes, the grilled breakfast or the eggs Benedict. Also make sure you have no special requests such as extra sausages or no spinach. I hope you like your poached eggs hard boiled otherwise youāre out of luck. I would also allow at least an hour and a half cos apparently they have better things to do than serve their customers and we were told fried eggs take a long time hence one meal taking half an hour.

We had a very yummy lunch and completely enjoyed our experience. The staff was friendly and provided great service. The food was spot on. The wait for it wasnāt long but well worth it. The serving size was great. I had the beef burger with fries which was juicy, full of flavour and the perfect size. My wife had the chicken and mushroom fettuccine which was very creamy and flavoursome. <br/>We were out in the patio area and sat at a big table that we shared with another couple. His salmon eggs benedict looked delicious and was a sizeable serving but not as big as her open steak sandwich. We will be back to try these two dishes.

the worst customer service I had experienced by far. My friend and I arrived at 2pm on 22/8 Thursday. By 2.30pm, we were the only patrons. The staff decided to close before the published business hour and asked us to leave, because as he put it āthere isnāt any customersā. Apparently we are not customers!? We had to call the manager on the phone to ask him what is their business hours, in which he assured us that they open until 4pm.<br/><br/>I believe the staff had not expected me to actually make the call when I asked for the managerās business card. And while I was talking to the manager, the staff was turning away a lady at the door.<br/><br/>What a shame.

Went for Breakfast this morning. The cafe itself is a bit noisy, not quite as chill as you'd want your brunch to be. However, the service was good, the food itself was pretty good, only thing I could say was that I like my food to come out hot and I wouldn't say that it was hot. Same with the coffee could of been hotter as well. Other than fairly good cafe, will probably back.

This used to be a great place to come with your kids. Recently they have gotten rid of their ice cream machine, cut down on the space outside and often decline access to the outside area. The serving guy is miserable, the girls are nice. The food is fine. I donāt hate the place but I feel like they are pretty indifferent to family custom now so I am not falling over myself to return

My partner and I visited today for the first time since the store had been in possession of new owners and found the experience quite disappointing to say the least. We arrived while the cafe was busy (10:50am Saturday) and were surprised to see only two waitresses on the floor. They failed to take note of us (understandable as it was so busy), so I helped myself to some menus and a minute later, water was brought to our table and we were asked if we would like to place our drinks order, to which I responded ācan I have two minutes, pleaseā. We sat around waiting for another ten minutes before I got up to place our order myself. Our food came out about 15 minutes later, however, we hadnāt received our cutlery or drinks yet. Halfway through our meals, my partner received his mocha (which was cold). 3/4s of the way through my meal, a waitress walking by and asked us if she could āsteal the salt from our table?ā before walking off with it to place on another table - I was really confused by this?... So by the time I had finished my meal, I still hadnāt received my smoothie yet and therefore, had to go up to the counter to let someone know. I hadnāt even finished my sentence before he turned around to tell someone to make it, so I basically had to yell that Iād like it takeaway. Only positive of this experience was that we weāre pleased with the way the meals tasted, however, my partner ordered pancakes - which were pretty - but literally only contained one pancake (for $18); which obviously did not satisfy him. Poor experience, we wonāt return again.

Great food, great service and really friendly people. The place looks small from the outside but thereās heaps of seating. We came here for brunch and really enjoyed the food, the menu was in the process of being updated, so I couldnāt order what I wanted, (charred asparagus) but I still didnāt leave disappointed. The eggs were poached really well, and the coffee was good. Overall, Iād come back if Iām in the area.

Great experience here this morning, dog friendly which is really good. Four for brunch, service was fast very friendly and polite, coffee was excellent and came quickly 4 mains and side of loaded fries arrived in a reasonable time and was top quality for taste and presentation. Good size meals and only just managed to finish the meal. All in all a great place with great staff, certainly will be going back again

Good environment, okay food and poor customer service. The staffs just do the bare minimum and can't really say the dinning experience is pleasant there. It is consistent after few visits. Doubt if we should return next time now.

Hope the guys were more welcoming and smiling. The cafe didnāt provide with basics such as serviettes, cutlery or water without asking. Even after asking, we were served with plastic plates and forks for a birthday party we organised in their cafeās backyard. I was never told that after paying for their food price, they will not care to give us service and will treat us as we are renting their backyard as community centre. Will never recommend to organise any event there, you can definitely find places with better service and smiles on their faces. I must add that the food was good and backyard kept kids busy in party. My whole experience was let down with poor planing execution and communication with what was expected from them.

Nice coffee although expensive and not hot enough. The outside really needs a good clean up e.g remove the weeds and cobwebs. Overall very untidy. Lovely friendly girls but the man who took our order really needs to be a bit friendlier to his customers.

Food was very over priced for a common cafe off the highway of Te Atatu south. Menu very limited. Ordered the bacon eggs Benedict at $19.50 only to receive two tiny slithers of bacon (a garnishing) and a mountain of spinach. The rest was also very average. Canāt rate the service as didnāt receive any after we paid for our meal. Needless to say I wonāt be coming back.

Always excellent service and food here. <br/>We often have business breakfasts and enjoy the quick service and the good food and coffee. <br/>The smashed avocado on toast is excellent, as is the beetroot salad. The kids pancakes is crazy generous and really delicious!

This place is awesome. Warm service, delicious food - really hard to fault. We were a group of cyclists sitting outside (wet to the bone) and they were really attentive to our needs!<br/>We had the pancakes, potato hash cakes (w portabello mushrooms and bacon) and our usual round of coffees. They came out often to check on us - highly appreciated and most Highly recommended.

I was puzzled by the low score this place gets, and I think something is dodgy with the maths. The published reviews give it 4.4/5.0... but somehow the three 'hidden', 'no review' scores drag the score down to a 3.0. So, by reckoning, those reviews must be 1, 1, and 0! Zomato... please explain!<br/><br/>To actually review Delicious... We stopped in for a late Sunday lunch, and hence there was slim pickings in the cabinet. So, we ordered off the menu: the lamb sliders, the salmon eggs bene on potato cakes, a kid's ham cheese and pineapple toastie and some curly fries. All the food was excellent, and I would give a special mention to the toastie: good bread, good ham, good cheese. All round a very pleasant food experience in a lovely setting - if you're not familiar it has a great garden area for the kids, with a sandpit etc. Certainly worth more than 3/5 :)

This place was buzzing when I went there..was in a rush so ordered hot cakes...coffee came quick but my pancakes took some time...but boy it was worth the wait...Loved the hot cakes and flat white coffee. Definitely going back to try other dishes.
