We enjoyed a nice brunch here on a rainy Saturday. The food was pretty good and it was nice and cosy in the bad weather.

The smoothies are to die for here. Highly recommended that you try it when you go here. The atmosphere is great and there is excellent indoor/outdoor flow to the cafe. This is a nice play to have a coffee in the sun or catch up on some reading. They have a good selection of meals and cafe cabinet foods. I said I would update once I tried food from the menu. I had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and an extra side of mushrooms. And a green goodness smoothie as a drink. The service was fabulous today. My meal came out reasonably quickly after ordering. Eggs were poached well, presentation was on point. I'd like to have a bit more flavour in the hollandaise sauce, but overall the meal was ok. The salmon tasted great. But again, the dish would have been better with a bit more flavour added to it. The Green smoothie was deliciously healthy and refreshing. Could really taste the mint coming through for that freshness. Overall another good experience here at Biscocho 😊

I've been driving past Biscocho Café for months & finally had the time to drop in. It ticks all the boxes with beautiful food, great coffee & that little bit extra with the service! It's a treasure of a café & would definitely choose it over Sylvia Park!

Such a nice cosy and friendly cafe. Staff is soo cool and the coffee is the greatest. Best breakfast in town. It is an awesome spot. A gem.

Has become my local cafe. So far have loved the food. Good coffee. Great selection of baked goods and salads.

Great tasting, well made coffee here. I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews in here, have found pleasant service, nice cafe.

Went for breakfast on Sunday. Ordered chicken quesadilla which was a disappointing dish. Chilli beans was 4 bean mix from a can, guacamole was sliced avocado and salad was tomato sauce. Waitress was friendly, service was good and coffee was really great.
Smritanc
Ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was very below average. The beans were just the four bean mix you get from a can, their version of salad was tomato sauce, and the guacamole was just 4 small slices of avocado. However, the mocha I ordered was one of the best I’ve had

Bless u Biscocho. you are breath of fresh air. You're a brand new shiny penny and NOT "just another franchised cafe?" Seating is available inside and out, it's nice and airy with plenty of natural light

The lovely Brazilian barista, wow she makes mean coffees. I see she has an army of disciples who come for their morning "coffee fix." In the kitchen is the gifted Chilean chef, he makes his own breads and tarts. Biscocho owner (Tama Si) you have a winning combo here

Came in this morning ordered a mocca to share to start with. When it arrived we were "knocked off our socks" at how excellent it was. I ordered the seafood chowder and wifey had the mushroom stack. They arrived together and were pleased with presentation. They were both piping hot and the breads

had the butter and olive oil soaked thru it.

The seafood chowder is one of the best I have ever had, finely chopped mussell and scallops with pipi's, squid rings, corn, potato, beans. A hint of chilly, nice n creamy with cheese and slices of homemade bread. Absolutely loved it.

Wifey's mushroom stack was real tasty it had choritsu and balsalmic thru it accompanied with homemade breads too (The bread was different to mine)

Lovely venue, Lovely food. Lovely people. Thank you Biscocho

Great dining experience for us - lovely staff, excellent coffee and good ambiance and food. We had Eggs Benedict with bacon, mushroom stack, rustic fries, hot chocolate, iced coffee and iced mocha. We celebrated someone’s birthday breakfast and the staff came to our table to sing and gave a cupcake. It made our day more special. Although the bacon was a little hard and chewy but the eggs were perfectly cooked. Also, we normally go for creamy mushroom however, the chorizo and mushroom was a good combination and we liked it. We’ll definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Quite small place, but they have a tiny space outside if you love ☀️ sun while drinking coffee :) Yummy food, we had Eggs Benedict with Bacon, hollandaise sauce was creamy. And their trademark burger.

average food. average atmosphere. friendly staff. but blunt cutlery. We ordered x1 full breakfast for $21 and x1 egg Benedict with salmon for $18. place was bit busy. They also have outdoor seating which may be good in summer.

What a hidden gem in the heart of Mt. Wellington. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the atmosphere is a bit quiet but the food, the coffee and the banana smoothie "taster" were out of this world. I had the eggs benny with smoked salmon. Excellent! Every component perfectly prepared, and spot on service. I haven't enjoyed a Benedict this much for a while now. They use Altura coffee beans, a winning kiwi blend and the barista knows what he's doing.

Came here during weekend mornings and had a vegetarian omelette, the portions are huge and really yummy, definitely getting your money worth at this cafe. I like how the ciabatta isn't too thick that it makes it hard to cut too! oh and the weekend barista makes some pretty good coffee too :-)

Just finished brunch at Biscocho cafe. My husband and I both had chorizo and mushrooms on chibata toast. Yum yum!! My husband had tea and I spicy chai latte, really good. The staff were very pleasant, and the service was quick. The traffic was very busy, so I recommend that you turn right into Waipuna rd and take sharp left to shopping area. Thoroughly enjoyed it, excellent start to the weekend

Nice little place in Mt Wellington. Went there with. Grouponz voucher for a birthday breakfast with my wife and family. Friendly staff and great food. Would go back even without a voucher.

This place is really nice and I like the internal - outdoor seating area which feels private. The place is really clean and they have a great selection of cabinet food and everything just look delicious .

The butter chicken pie and lamb roll is yummy. The price is very reasonable too.

If u thing of doing some shopping in sylvia park..this place is definitely not far and worth trying.

Love this place. It's now my regular for breakfast. The breakfast burger is my favourite breakfast food, it's big, delicious and the price is right. My new death-row meal. Besides the food, the service is 5 star, smiles and greeting when you enter. The chef personally delivers your meal and thanks you for your patronage and makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. And when you leave they bid you a fond adieu. Biscocho is breakfast, everywhere else is just another cafe.

Lovely cafe tucked away in the relatively new block of shops on the corner of Mt Wellington Highway & Waipuna Rd. There is comfortable chairs inside (more lounge chairs as well as regular chairs) and an outdoor area too.
Service was really friendly & there appeared to be lots of regulars popping in which is always a good sign.
Coffee is Altura and was hot & strong without being bitter. They had lots of cabinets items & a menu, but I only had room for a small bite so tried the plum & white chocolate brioche. It was heated & delicious.
Worth a visit.

A cute place with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are friendly and food was good as well. I wouldn't mind trying other dishes here.
Eggs benedict was yum, I liked that the bread wasn't super thick. And the berry beautiful smoothie was so refreshing - loved the coconut cream in it.

Stopped by after shopping in Sylvia Park. The staff were really friendly and the food was very good. The décor is tastefully simple and clean. I Will definitely come back!

So glad to know that my suburb finally has a decent cafe and considering that it is 5 minutes walk from my house too! I had breakfast at this cafe with my sister this morning. I ordered waffle + berries + ice cream and paired it up with my 'go-to' Mocacchino coffee. My sister ordered the Big B Breakfast and Chai Latte. I'd say their service is great, HOWEVER, they should take caution with their food before serving it to the customers as I found a strand of hair in my waffle :O The ambience was good, I love how simplistic it is with a tinge of cuteness! As a minimalist enthusiast, I approve of the interior design! I love how bright the environment is with good music (get the Spotify Premium, btw). The food overall was divine! We are happy with our orders. Regardless of the strand of hair being stuck in my waffle, I'd still give this cafe a good score for the cute interior and good customer service (props to the lady who served us, you did a good job). I can't wait to see this cafe grow and improve as it progresses.

We were in a rush so decided to pop in here for a quick lunch - I think I would have rather gone to a drive thru... 😣. The decor was quaint and family friendly with the service to match. The menu looked very promising - they even had superfood/vegan smoothies! It pains me to say that the menu looked better than it tasted ☹️. I tried the breakfast burger and while the food elements were cooked well... There were three sauces in it! I felt drowned 😰. I would say skip this one or just stick to the coffee.

Great relaxed atmosphere, food and coffee are excellent and the staff are lovely, I would definitely recommend for a Sunday brunch date, eggs bene was cooked well, with runny eggs and not too much sauce.

The place is feels a bit budget, but it's probably the nicest coffee in the vicinity. I haven't tried much of the food (apart from the pies - yum, and the odd sweet) but it's my café of choice for coffee in the area. The service is friendly and un-pretentious. My father is a recovering caffeine addict (joke) at a rest home around the corner and likes it when I bring a coffee from here.

I've been here several times, but it's been so uneven I've
held off from writing a review. Sometimes the food is nice (the burger),
sometimes it's awful (dreadful quesadillas with processed cheese, completely tasteless salads). Sometimes
the cakes are great (fantastic mud cake), sometimes they're bad (lemon poppy
cake that's always dry, a ginger slice with a base so dry it’s powdery). Coffee
served during the week is fine, coffee served by the owners at the weekend is
undrinkably bad. But this weekend I've made up my mind about the place. I’m never
going back.

I was interested to see in a previous review that the front
of house got the order wrong three times. That hasn't happened to me, but I've
seen it happen to others when the woman owner is on the till. She is a Spanish
speaker and her English is obviously not quite good enough to always understand
orders. This weekend I saw a lady receive the wrong coffee order twice. That wouldn't
be so bad if they fixed it, but the owner went over to her table to argue with
her about what she had ordered. I was sitting close to the till and heard the
order - the customer was right and the owner was wrong. The customer left with
her second wrong order sitting undrunk on the table and I heard her say to her
friend that she would never return. As I've seen her there several times, that
means that they've lost one regular customer, and now they've lost another, as after
seeing that I will not return either. Owners who think arguing with customers -
especially when they are in the wrong! - is a good way to run a business have a
lot to learn. This place was so uneven anyway that it's no great loss.

Not long till this place takes off. My friend had the Biscocho muesli, looked super yum and I was a bit jealous. My coffee was well made, just the right temperature and not over bitter. The courtyard was nice and sunny, with the option of shade if it got too got. Nice little place, looking forward to going again. The staff were really friendly, not the uber cool stand-offish type in some cafes. Easy parking outside too.

New place in Mount Wellington. Such a good location, Mt welly definitely needs more cafes!

However this place is soooo underwhelming :( nothing special about it, boring cabinet food with an equally as boring menu! Not to mention they serve Altura coffee which is average at best.

Service was below average also, the front of house got the order wrong 3 times. I think she was super nervous, bless, but this place has been open awhile now so I feel like "teething issues" can't really be used as an excuse anymore.

Every time I have driven past its empty. Fingers crossed they spice it up a bit in the near future!

AMBIANCE: Fresh, new and light. Nice layout with plenty of seating in and out. However, the outdoor furniture needs throwing away.
SERVICE: Friendly and helpful with a vibrant accent. Very fast delivery of coffees too.
COFFEE: Altura beans (have never had a good altura coffee for some reason). The coffee was a little under temperature and slightly over extracted but at least it was actually a flat white and not a latte (as so commonly happens).
FOOD: A great piece of ginger crunch. Not the throat burning, over rich, brick that I normally come across.
PRICE: On par. Perfectly reasonable.

OVERALL: It's a brand new place that needs a bit of time to get through the teething process but it's well on its way. Come for a quick stop-in not a long breakfast.
