Really cool look out spot. Can’t speak to the food, but we got a couple iced coffees and enjoyed the view from the patio that overlooks the water. The tables next to us got burgers and fries, which looked and smelled great.

Great staff, lovely spot with a view, very tasty food. The water bottles needed to be scrubbed around the opening as our bottle had not been cleaned properly. Staff need to clear outside tables quicker as when the table next to us had finished and left an array of birds came and sat all over the tables excreting and eating the leftovers.

Really great service! Came in at lunch time ordered the $15 burger and chips and an apple cider. My drink came out quickly and not long after my food did as well. It looks great and I am very happy with her service here! The food was amazing, big servings but that’s ok because they give little containers to take home!!

Was there for lunch and dinner on the 2nd of january and the resturant was packed right up to 10.30 pm. Well done staff you were run off your feet and still kept up a quality service. So good we went back for breakfast. Favorites were the best cider ever, fish and chips to die for and french toast what out of this world. Also did an amazing gluten free specialty meal for us despite the rush. Fantastic job guys. We will be back.

I found the service great. The waitress explained that they had just had a very busy period due to the long weekend and that several things were off the menu and tapas were delayed. We settled for a beer and chunky chips which were just what we needed. I am sorry I broke your toilet door! I was in a fine pickle not knowing what to do with this heavy door. A fellow customer found it hilarious as did I once I leant the door against the wall then confessed to our waitress!

Got my power rebate so went to OBC at lunchtime and got their seafood chowder to take away to save cooking tonight and I just ate one of the best seafood chowders I've ever had ... if not the best (yes, I've said that before but this one beats it). Perfect indicator for me is that I don't have any chewy bits in my teeth. I absolutely hate that. 10 out of 10.

Well what can I say, It's my local for weekend Breakie and is always on point!! With a great view and friendly helpful staff! And only seems to be getting better. If you ain't in for breakie try the calamari with an ice cold cider or beer

Everything seemed hard! Had to get our own water, cutlery. We also got left with a cloth on our table for ten minutes. We were expected to wipe our own table down. Very dissapointed with the last few times we have eaten here. Today was the final straw. We won't be back or recommending to our guests.
The breakfast tacos had only 4 Tiny bits of chorizo sausage for $19. Salsa was almost unexistant.
The smashed Avo on toast was two small bits of untoasted bread for $19.50 with a side of 3 cherry tomatoes.
Extremely let down. Over priced and poor service! I see why you pay before you eat, people would just walk off with out paying.

It was exciting to be here on the island with friends and family. Came in to this cafe restaurant seeing it filled by families. It turned out to be a rather disappointing experience!!
We came in with a big group and asked to have a couple of tables combined, the waitress refused to help combining tables together and said she didn't want to!!! What????
We then waited for over 15 mins for the menu... went to the counter and asked for it. Waitress brought 2 and DUMPED them on the table!!!
I paid for a grilled fish thinking that it comes with salads and got a fish burger by itself!!! Serious???
Disappointing... do not go to this place...

Service was average. Waited over an hour for garlic bread and two burgers. Garlic bread was cold with no garlic butter on it and half melted parmesan. Chicken burger had virtually no brie on it. Probally most disappointing experience on waiheke

I don't generally like doing reviews but... This really f#&$d me off.
To be honest, it felt like we were being treated different right from the get go. My partner had been to many restaurants and never experienced this.
Firstly, we were told to get our own menus as we watched others get given there own, followed by having to get our own water.
The food was great however... My order of a Grilled Chicken Quesadilla came first... It was over 25 minutes having to wait for the next lot of food only to find out they've forgotten it. None of the staff seemed genuinely interested or empathetic. Just an "oh.. Are you waiting on food?. We get that you might be busy but it's your job and your here to serve people but at least some kind of smile, empathy or even just a general interest in the customer would be great. It's nice being able to watch me or my partner eat food alone... Not!
Unfortunately, it ruined a good weekend. I am more than likely going to let anyone know that loves dining with myself and partner not to bother coming unless you're of a certain ethnic group or "hot in the waitresses eyes."
It's sad to see another family having to eat and watch as a child starves and watches her family eat with out her.
Poor service - Get it together Oneroa Beach Club. Learn customer centricity.
