Coffee was great (what you expect at $6 a coffee) what irks me is when it isn't served with napkins or water. Please serve napkins with coffee everytime! Ideally I shouldn't have to ask for napkins and water. Tables are a bit cramped but the place is nice and boutique nevertheless

Came through on a rainy morning. Perfect place for a coffee and to sit and relax. I had the daily filter coffee, it looked so cute. It came with soda water and a coffee bean chocolate. The cup and tray it come with was super cute! They have lots of newspapers and magazines. I would recommend coffee lovers to go here to try something different. They also have lots of magazines to read.

Altezano Newmarket is a great little coffee spot. They serve two espresso blends you can choose from: a bolder/darker blend for the traditional coffee lovers; or, a sweeter blend which I really liked (ask for the 'Rich Blend').
I also ordered a batch brew, and their barista truly went above and beyond in brewing me a fresh pot even though they had just run out. Amazing customer service, and I enjoyed chatting briefly with the barista on the single origin on offer. I look forward to visiting again.

Found another cafe that makes cortado but it’s more like flat white here... coffee wasn’t bad at all but it was just a very milky cortado. But if you’re here for other drinks and food, I’m sure it will taste great.

I am here mid morning for coffee not too busy. It is a small but efficiently run cafe. Coffee good and presentation nice. I am having the gluten free orange loaf - nice. Good place to stop.

One of the best coffees you will ever have in Auckland. Small place but has standing space with magazines and papers to read while you wait for your coffee. They also have other outlets which are just as good. Would rival any top coffee shops in Melbourne!

Came in last year on my friend's birthday for breakfast.<br/>Served amazing coffee. The brioche tasted sweet and nice. The open sandwich was not too dry or bland. Tomato and cheese proved to be a good combination on bread.

I used to give this cafe a raving 5-star review. Unfortunately, the last 5 or more times, I had a cup of coffee from here, it was completely unenjoyable. The service has also gone downhill - cups are plonked instead of put on the table and clearing/cleaning tables has become a rarity. I used to be a regular here, but I have been let down enough times not to want to go back again.

Superb coffee beautifully presented. Love the little wooden tray, the sparkling water and the chocolate coffee bean on the side! Full marks for presentation and quality coffee made all the more enjoyable while sitting at an outside table savouring the warmth of the autumnal sun. Not cheap but good quality.

Fantastic coffee, the best in Newmarket, and I have tried every cafe. I am very particular and do try other places but always return for my daily morning brew to this excellent little cafe. Staff are friendly and the food is simple and well done.

Stopped here for a coffee after a massive feed at Burger Burger new market. Really good coffee. My medium trim flat white was nice and strong. Good coffee aroma. 3.5 stars cause of the price. $4.50 for their medium which I thought is rather small is a bit too much. Gotto go Bxk and try the rest of the menu soon. So great coffee but overpriced.

Love love love Altezzano Brothers - I would go here every single morning while working in Newmarket for a cup of coffee and a chat with my colleagues and the owner Sol. The coffee is smooth but strong and has a slight hint of chocolate/caramel - it's absolutely delicious. The new fit out is warmer and much more inviting - they've done a really great job. Seriously miss being able to come here every morning, but I will always pop by for a flat white when I'm in Newmarket!

I found Altezano back in 2010 and haven't bought coffee elsewhere since! Great consistent coffee and food at all their espresso bars, the staff are always friendly and always remember my coffee preference. I buy food here on most weekends and love there random salads and my fav is the savory pinwheels they are fantastic!.

Good coffee, Good food.<br/><br/>However experience was ruined by boss quite audibly berating someone out the back, not sure if it was a staff member or on the phone, but it was horrible. <br/><br/>Walked out straight away, and wont return, the guy sounded like a really nasty piece of work.

They know their coffee - it was perfect. Many regulars flowing through. Very good service and especially friendly.<br/>Didn't try any of the offerings of cakes or lunch choices in the cabinet ( hence only 4 stars) but they looked fresh and appealing.

I really loved the setting of this cafe with booths inside and tables outside. It was a fantastic day and we sat outside. The sun was warm, it was nice to see the comings and goings of Newmarket and it was relaxing on a quiet Sunday afternoon. <br/>That being said, I hated my coffee. It was a chai latte and my word was it spicy. It burnt my mouth and made me cough. Normally a cafe will say if it's a spicy latte or give you a choice of spicy or sweet. There was no mention of spicy on the menu. I'm not sure if the term chai has changed in the food industry nowadays because this is the second time I've had an almost chilli hot chai latte. I wish it weren't the case. I took two sips and was done. That's an expensive coffee to not drink.
