We ate here because it was on zomato gold but we’re not likely to go back. My bagel was extremely stale and my egg undercooked. Also the toilets were really dirty.

We came here just by chance as we were looking for a place close by and used our entertainment book coupon. I must say we were a bit nervous when the place was empty on a Sunday, but I think this is due to the road works happening just outside. We ordered a savoury crepe, mushroom on sourdough, omellete and hot chocolate. We were so happy with the meal that we decided to try their Chinese crepe as well. Everything was cooked just right, generous portion for the price and tasted really good, not too salty not bland. We would definitely come here again when we have the chance. Thank you to the friendly staff!

Came in today for lunch. Ordered a Mars bar crepe and pasta of the day. Mars bar crepe wasn't too sweet. The crepe was quite thin and large, crispy on the outside. Pasta was a bit salty in my opinion. Owners were very welcoming though. Wi-Fi is provided. Atmosphere was relaxing.

We had such a delicious brunch here. We both had the big breakfast and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. Lovely friendly service too. And a nice courtyard if the weather is nice! Can't wait to come back

A lunch on a Sunday. We had coffee, a brioche French toast with grilled banana & bacon, and a chicken laksa noodle soup with grilled chicken, prawn, tofu, etc. 30 minutes of waiting was slightly too long. The toast was good, especially the grilled banana. The laksa came with very little noodles, a couple of shrimps, half bowl of soup & no grilled chicken. I complained & the chef argued that it was in the soup. (The grilled chicken must have dissolved in the soup!) I complained again & it came on a side plate. Although the apology came from the wait staff afterwards, it was the attitude of the cook that needed to be rectified - admit what was wrong & correct it.<br/>(Food - 3/5; Service - 0.5/5; Ambience - 2/5)<br/>Visited 6 May 2018

Casual, cosy and unpretentious; good coffee; very friendly service; food good quality, without being mindblowing. My chicken burger was nice but could of done with slightly more chicken and was a little spicy for my liking; overall a very nice experience and will be returning.

This humble cafe is always delicious (love their soups) and generous with their portions! I’m surprised how quiet it can sometimes considering how their food is (IMO) better than the fad cafe down the street. They have a cute courtyard out the back. Lovely and attentive staff!

Very friendly owner and great coffee and food! We ordered mushroom omelette and big breakfast . My husband loved the omelet (has mushroom, goat cheese and tomato in it) my big breakfast every element was nicely put together. Enjoyed the pesto under the ciabatta and egg really give a fresh taste. Healthy balance brunch choice.

I must admit that I’m a fussy person when it comes to food. The strange thing is, I can’t find anything to complain about at this cafe.<br/><br/>When I was ordering our food, I couldn’t move my eyes away from the big fat muffins on the counter. They looked so appealing so I decided to give it a go. They didn’t disappoint, each bite was loaded with cream cheese and blueberry, I’m not a muffin fan but I enjoyed their muffin a lot and now I’m addicted to it.<br/><br/>We ordered four meals: Two eggs benedict, a salmon bagel and a homemade burger. I had my salmon benedict with whole grain bread. You can choose the bread you like and hash cake is great for potato lovers and GF substitution.<br/><br/>The hollandaise was house made and consistency was perfect. Eggs are perfectly cooked, I often find eggs at many places being over cooked or undercooked and I think having the eggs done properly is very important so well done chef!<br/><br/>My friend’s beef burger was very juicy and the salmon bagel was fresh.<br/><br/>Overall, we are happy with our food and coffees. The homemade turmeric latte was very tasty, well balanced spices with a little sweetness of honey.<br/><br/>The only let down was that waiting time was kinda long, but it’s understandable considering it was rush hour on a Sunday and all our meals ended up worth waiting for. <br/><br/>Little Big has become my favourite lunch spot in Parnell -Reasonable price with good portion and most importantly, the food is bloody awesome. I miss the muffin already and will return with my family this weekend!

My wife and I recently had breakfast in a quiet courtyard area at the back of the restaurant and had a very pleasant experience. The front area appeared to be nice also if you prefer a view of the sidewalk, street and passers by. Our food was excellent in taste and appearance. We shared both our dishes, Eggs Benedict and Brioche French Toast. WOW!!! I thought both were amazing and my wife did too, maybe the best breakfast ever!!! We ate the Eggs Benedict first and our observant server checked with us right away to insure we were happy with the food in general and the French Toast since we had set it a little to the side. She was great, genuinely concerned. The menu was interesting and I was intrigued, I wanted to try lots of things!

I have been here a few times - yet to have gone to the courtyard! But I will be back for sure! The food is delicious!!! The only reason there is not a 5 star rating is I was slightly disappointed with the hot drink orders. <br/><br/>Fortunately that is not turning be away from eating meals here any time soon!

A cafe battle royale is certainly heating up on Parnell Road. The Little Big Cafe (LBC) is the most cost-conscious of the cafes I've encountered in Parnell, but does that correlate with a dip in quality?<br/><br/>Compared to Biskit, the menu at Biskit is definitely more tantalising and the decor is probably at a level above The Little Big Cafe, however the food at LBC was actually better.<br/><br/>Our portions were sized generously for the price we paid, and our food came out hot. Although one plate did have a hair on the side of the plate, which means the rating is affected. Coffee was fairy standard.<br/><br/>The Little Big Cafe is quite traditional with their menu, but they do provide great tasting food. <br/><br/>I've heard that there is an outdoor patio out back, which is quite nice so I would come back and explore further.<br/><br/>Showstopper: Filling meals that taste great.<br/><br/>Overall Grade: B

A very new and interesting cafe shop, loved the way make their pasta, so yummy and the price is really good. They have often introducing different kinds of dishes every two weeks as well, personally, i love their pancakes, so delicious. It's for sure a must visit during your work break in Parnell.

Love this cafe, preferred it a bit more with the last owners (When it was called Strawberry Alarm Clock) as the staff were awesome and very homely, but it is still an awesome cafe. I come here at least twice a day for coffee, and sometimes back for lunch! The service is impeccable with super friendly staff that know our order as we walk in the door. The set up is clean and modern, yet comfortable and easy. Their cheese and onion scones are to die for - and their lunch (and breakfast) menu is awesome, and great value for money.
