Top of the line is the best way to describe these guys. The meat in this mince and cheese was phenomenal, and the cheese just complimented it so well.
I could have gone back for a second but I have a weight limit to watch.

The best bakery in Glen Eden :) especially if you are vegetarian or vegan! Great vege options. We love all the vege/vegan pies, donuts are delicious and you can't go past the sesame baguette. A regular for our family. You won't be disappointed!

Highly recommend. If you are after slices and cakes you have come to the right place as they are to die for and the variety of pastries is amazing and pies are so flavoursome. Definitely a massive 10/10 for the fab customer service always provided when visiting for my weekly goodies.

Well what a pleasure it always is, to be able to buy a home style seasoned, savoury deli type puff pastry, organic meat or veggie pie (the chilli cheese chicken is something special).
But even the plain mince is anything but!.
Bread is obviously beautiful.
It also is a joy to eat, a deliciously tasty CB sweet treat.
And if Crafty Baker stands for Well Crafted with quality ingredients by proper bakers served to you by ever friendly people.

Not cheap, but hands down the best pie I've had in a long long time. Lots of other goodies, including a good stock of vegan friendly options. Very very generous sizing on the donuts, I couldn't finish mine.

Glad to have discovered this place on my travels. The pies were succulent, fresh and absolutely delicious. Not only this bakery have the most wondrous pies, the environment was well presented and staff were very friendly. Wish they had more branches in other areas.

Not at all impressed . Tried for first time as had been highly mentioned by friend . But the mince and cheese pie had barley any mince or cheese inside . In fact we had to eat half the pie in order to get to the filling I bought two and both were the same. For the price of the pie you expected good things. Very disappointed.
Sausage roll good quality but flavour of the filling to minty . Needs to be more balanced
The croissant was.good though . On the positive side .
On the whole $25 I spent in the shop and left feeling a bit ripped off and still.hungry after eating due to.lack of fillings

Have been wanting to try this bakery for a while! Stopped by for Saturday morning breakfast. Got a pie and sausage roll, unfortunately they did not live up to our expectations. The filling in the sausage roll had an overpowering herb flavour, the pie lacked seasoning and the pastry was undercooked and not flaky at all. <br/>We might try their breads next time but definitely won’t be going back for anything else.. :(

I look forward to the weekends when I can go to crafty baker and get some goodness. The pies are outstanding! You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The selection of breads, cakes, slices and pastries are to die for. If I could give them a higher rating I would me and my family love this local gem.

Best bread in west auckland and coming from germany I know about bread! New indian owner luckily got trained by the previous owner and got the same skills now. I you want the healthy alternative check them out. My favourite is the purple wholemeal

Good mince pie, I liked the pepper!! fresh croissants straight out of the oven too. The sourdoughs are obviously great too! Can’t wait to have it with my soup today! Yay! Deeelicious.

Well well well. $6.50 for a pie with a soggy base and very chewy meat! Its not pie meat thats for sure. Disapointing crafty baker, service is always good except for the bakers they will just stare at u when u walk in no hi no nothing just a blank stare. Well i will take my $ elsewhere.

Delicious croissants and doughnuts (ones with holes and ones with filling). The sourdough breads are quite large -but individual mini rolls are also on offer. Would go back for the pastry.

Beautiful and fresh rolls and yummy sweet treats that I couldn't finish! I had heard great things about the pies at this joint but unfortunately ours just weren't that great. BEARLY any cheese in a mince and double cheese and was far to spicy for liking.
