Update 03/19: Still the best place to get coffee around uni, possibly in the whole CBD. You can't beat the quality for the price!! Coffix franchises always have great prices—$2.50 small/$3.50 large, however Tea (the owner at Symonds—sorry if I got the wrong name!) makes the best coffee and is always friendly and smiling!

Cheap, but delicious coffee with a very friendly staff. I was very confused when I walked in because they don’t have a menu on the wall to order off from, but the staff sorted me out real quick. Will be back, can’t go wrong with a $2.50 coffee!

Such a cute little cafe with nicest staff! I wouldn't say their coffee is the nicest, but their ice cream and brownies/slices are on point👌👌 The prices are really cheap too, so if you want coffee and nice dessert when you are on a small budget this place is the bomb :D

Great coffee and excellent service! What more can you ask for? If you’re looking for a reasonably priced and good quality coffee, this is your place to be. This is perfect if you’re on the go and want to grab a quick hot coffee. The staff were awesome and the outlet is very inviting even though it’s quite small. Definitely my go to coffee at the moment! 😁☕️☕️☕️

Surly service and terrible coffee. I tossed a cappa in the bin it was unpalettibel. Attitude is as they could not care less what they doing. Stay away. Its probably a front for some other drug other than caffeine. Im just saying why would you be driving the customers away. When it started it had great barista now its like womens prison.

Place itself looked nice and staff was friendly. Coffee very cheap for only $2.50 but I found it not very nice. I would rather pay more for my coffee and enjoy drinking it. I really love a good coffee though so maybe for other people that don‘t mind that much it could be perfect. I won‘t be back here though.

Part 1 of the quest to find good coffee around UoA campus!<br/>I was attracted to coffix because - cheap coffee! $2.50 for a small coffee (extra shots, flavours or soy milk free) really appealed to the cheapskate student in me.<br/>Service was very friendly, and despite what I think was the morning rush before work, the coffee didn't take long to be made.<br/>Coffee quality was not bad. Definitely not the best I've had but it wasn't too bitter, and it was a good temperature too. Even the small size obviously provided a decent caffeine kick because while I'm writing this 3 hours later, my fingers are a little shaky and I'm definitely working with some energy. So it works guys! No need to spend the extra dollar or two for a larger size in my opinion.<br/>In terms of value, I'd rate it quite high. $2.50 is great even for a small cup, but that small cup was powerful so good bang for your buck.<br/>Not my favourite coffee in the universe but if you're a cheap student who needs some good caffeine then coffix is a good go-to. <br/>The bagels here looked pretty good too. Maybe next time.
