I come to Woodside most days to grab my coffee and breakfast. The coffee is always superb. The cabinet food options are incredible and all gluten free ( I canāt wait to try them all). So many pastries and savouries that coeliacās usually cannot enjoy - their spinach and feta scone is my favourite!! I am not even coeliac, and I love it here. The service is truly excellent, warm and friendly with attention to detail. I will be coming here to dine in very soon for sure, the menu looks delicious.

I just visited Woodside for the first time in several months. I was blown away when Isha remembered my usual order, my name & noticed that my hair was different from when I last visited! Isha & Deepak were both so super friendly & welcoming & made me feel like I was an old friend who had stopped by.
I had the French toast which was simply delicious, as always, & the coffee was great. I really can't recommend Woodside highly enough. It's everything you could want in a cafe & it definitely won't be long before my next visit. š

Beautiful food with huge range of gluten free options. The Korean fried chicken is the best Iāve had - will be back soon. Unsure what the other recent reviews are on about - very good value and the staff clearly put a lot of effort into presentation too.

Little, cozy and clean cafe. Beautiful location, friendly service, good stuff. Being vegetarian, I could find enough variety to choose. Soothing decor, tasty food, elegantly served. Check cafe hours if you want to spend quality time.

I tried cocoa cake GF DF sugar free and that was delicious even more than other sugar desserts

Took my 11-person film crew to Woodside Cafe for a much needed mid-shoot lunch. Food was absolutely wonderful. The service was super-friendly and efficient and everyone in my team was most impressed.

The coffee was very nice but the food could have been better. The mushrooms were too seasoned and the bacon was very greasy. Made me feel a bit sick too eat the food.

Lovely cafe in Birkenhead! Super friendly staff and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Ambience is clean, white, simple and cute . Hot chocolate is quite big, very frothy but tastes great. Only critic is that the hot chocolate could be more chocolatey but other than that great drink! Will be back again when in Birkenhead.<br/><br/>**EDIT**<br/>Woodside has one of the best iced chocolates Iāve ever had and it is now my go to!! They also have an amazing āmake your ownā breakfast!! I choose mushrooms, halloumi, spinach, sausage and potato patty and every item was so delicious. Canāt wait to come back for another brunch!!

Really disappointing service. Walked in and staff were pretty inattentive. We found ourselves a table and were ignored for about 10 mins. So we left and went to hinemoa st organic cafe. Way better service there :)

If we could justify going here every weekend, we probably would. Not only are they dairy friendly (and will cater to you allergies), the staff are really easy to deal with, really friendly, great customer service and actually feels like you're entering a home away from home (with food!). Definitely great value for money!

Late breakfast on a sat morning at Woodside today. <br/>Ordered the European breakfast. <br/>It was ok. Truly irritating having to peel my own boiled egg though . The shell went everywhere . The cheese was nice but i would never order it again. It's really the kind of thing you make at home ... not something you want to order at a cafe . <br/>My soy hot chocolate was super average - not very chocolatey, the table we sat at the water and cups from the previous customers had not been cleared away- and no new water or cups were brought out . <br/>The meal for as simple as it was took quite a long time to come out - about 20 or 30 mins- we had already finished our hot drinks before the food came. <br/><br/>Very small menu- the baked treats in the cabinet just look a little sad - flat with no decoration. <br/><br/>I would never eat here again. It wasn't that bad but they give you no reason to come back.<br/><br/>Meh <br/>

Always vote highly for a decent coffee place, such as woodside Cafe.<br/><br/>It is really a surprising place to find in this suburb. I was this close to give up for a cup of coffee then Woodside was just by my side.<br/>Ā Ā <br/>Simplicity, stylish, neat. It is the kind of Cafe that you might have been to somewhere in the world, however, it possesses its own character for a kiwi touch, like bottles of flowers on each table, the Metro magazine put on the desk, the enthusiastic waitress who give right advice on your dessert paring the coffee.And of course, the perfect coffee!<br/><br/>The latte coffee came in right warm temperature, great espresso shot with warm milk and froth ratio, it was so much soothing for a sip after a windy day walking. We followed the waitress advice ordering the ginger slice with sunflower seeds, not too sweet and a bit crunchiness really stranded out for its taste.<br/><br/>Gluten free food is another highlight for this little cute Cafe. In Auckland and even in New Zealand, it is more and more handy for people to choose, which is a good sign of the food industry.<br/><br/>Keep on with your attitude!
