Best quality/price Pizza in town!!! The flour they use come from Italy and the dough is proper italian. I love wood fired pizza. I would say only few pizzeria in town can beat Rosso Pomodoro and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays they do 15$ pizzas. What a deal!!!

This place is fantastic. Don't listen to the negative comments about toppings etc - those people have never had a true Italian pizza. Authentic wood fired bases with amazing flavour. Definitely try the mushroom arancini as well. Service is very friendly and in the proper Italian style. BYO'D there last night with 8 people. Incredibly reasonable prices and excellent ambience!

Classic Italian pizza with beautiful crispy crusts. Would definitely go out of my way to get these pizza's to takeaway again. You can also sit in the pizzeria to eat in however its a bit small and not set up restaurant style, more as a quick stop.

Delicious handmade pizza, even the crust is throughly enjoyable. One "vegan" marked pizza on the menu but you can take the cheese off the other veg pizzas and make it vegan. I'd die and go to heaven if they were to offer vegan cheese for their pizzas, I'd eat there three times a week!

This place is fantastic. It's hidden amongst car repair places but well worth finding. I've been twice and had the same pizza both times because it was so delicious. Highly recommend the one with prosciutto, rocket, parmesan and truffle oil. The deep fried cheese is delicious but feels a bit pricey for what you get. Still recommend trying it though!
Its byo $5 corkage and they do cheaper pizzas on Tuesdays and wednesdays.

Great traditional italian pizza. The vegetarian options are so tasteful. Great service and awesome prices specially on Tuesday and Wednesday. The pizza chef has made calzone napoletano in special ocations(not in the menu), it is just as the traditional one!

So today a purchased a Groupon deal for your pizza place. The reviews looked good, so thought I would give it a whirl. Friday night, bit of a cheat and all that.
So having read the reviews, bought the deal, browsed the menu, I jump in the car and head down there. I place my order, only to be told that you won't accept my voucher as it 'isn't valid on weekends'
So I have two issues;
Nowhere on the offer does it mention that the offer has any kind of 'terms'.
2nd point; this is Friday night pal. Not the weekend! I don't work weekends and if I didn't show for work on a Friday, my boss wouldn't agree it was a weekend!
The upshot is, I now have a voucher I'll never use. I wasted an hour searching, picking, visiting etc. and I now have to do the whole thing again.
I would suggest you make any 'strings attached' clearer on any offer you promote. I would also argue that Friday is not part of the weekend and I'm sticking to that.
That said, your food looked good, your reviews are good, I'm not going to be a d*#k and give you a bad rating. Just wanted to give you some feedback as I'm frustrated and hungry.

Pizza is ok, I ordered the Sorrento Pizza with out Anchovies. Got the pizza covered in Anchovies. Getting the wrong order is one of those thing I just can't stand. I've had afew other pizzas from here that weren't bad, Noting to roght home abput for me really. Sides are average. 3rd time I've tried this place and I don't give it a 4th.

We live 100meters from this restaurant. Ordered pick up. The pizza was stone cold, chicken portion was ridiculous we tried to identify what was chewy on the pizza after first bite I thought it was the sun dried tomatoes however it was the rock hard chicken pieces that fall apart like chalk. The mozzarella was also way too solid to be fresh, I suspect these pizzas are frozen and not made fresh. It was disgusting and I’m bummed given the menu presents well. Also tried to phone to discuss my feedback however no one answered !

Yummy pizzas fresh from the pizza oven. Very tasty and perfect sourdough base. Unfortunately have had numerous experiences of being told a time the pick up would be ready and double checking that and leaving an extra 20 mins on top of that due to past experiences of them never being ready but still the pizzas were 10/15 mins off.

First time trying this place as I drive past it every day I had to give it a nudge. Staff weren’t to interested but thats ok I just wanted my pizza. Thought it was weird that they didnt have Calzone on the menu. Very fast to get my food though 5mins. Pizza itself wasent the best though, bland flavours and in my opinion not the best crust. Still a solid feed but personally I’d probably won’t be coming back.

Classic Italian Pizzas available here. Ordered from Uber Eats last night and we were quite pleased. Light dough, melt in your mouth cheese- can’t go wrong here. We tried a plain cheese and the ham pizza. <br/>Next time will probably go visit the restaurant to try their other dishes.

Just received my pizzas through Uber.<br/>There was hardly any ham at all on my pizza which for $22 is ridiculous.<br/>Two pieces actually had no ham at all on them!<br/>Either that was a rip off or the Uber driver stole all the toppings!!!!!!!<br/>Won’t be coming back.

It's definitely authentic italian pizza. Decent size, and it fills you up faster than you might expect. Ingredients were fresh. Flavour was good overall, although I realised there were these little seeds that tasted a bit weird (Not sure what they're called, but tastes like licorice kind of), so next time I would tell them not to put those in. Overall good pizza.

Wow! I'm very picky when it comes to pizza. This was FANTASTIC! Perfect base and toppings. The deep friend mozzarella was amazing and so was the tiramisu. Recommended to all!!!

LOVE this place. Amazing vibes from the extremely friendly owner and staff, a true Italian greeting + farewell and a little jive to the music in between! The pizza bases are beautifully light + crispy on the bottom. You won't get that stodgy post-Sal's feeling here. We also got the truffle and mushroom arancini which were very good. Giving 4 because it is a bit expensive, but there are often vouchers out there and they have a nice 2nd pizza 50% off deal at times also. Thanks guys :) love your work

Can't say anything about the pizza. Rocked in to order some takeaways after 1.5 hours in traffic. Instead of taking my order all four staff members looked at me and one of them proceeded to pour a red wine and get a beer for seated customers. That was fine, takes two seconds why should i care. The staff member then spills red wine all over my white suit shirt and suit. He said sorry and gave me napkins, like it was just going soak itself up. No offer of a dryclean. I'm now spending the $50 i would have spent cleaning my clothes so i can work. Cant say anything about the pizzza though

Don't let the odd location and decor put you off. These guys are here to do one thing and one thing well: pizza! The base is always perfect and they use really good quality toppings which puts them ahead of the opposition for me.

This place is pretty regular on the old Grab One. Overall, the pizza and mozzarella was good; the pizza base a littel soggy after the ride home and didn't expect the fried mozzaerlla to come in circles!

Delicious pizzas with right amount of topping and flavorful taste. The base is perfect and very nicely done. I had Rosso Pomodoro and Piccante and both were right on the money. Also had Amore and Margarita recently and both of them were delicious too. Hard choosing which one is my favorite. Highly recommend this pizza place as they also have great daily specials.

Pizza is delicious, proper authentic Italian. We had 3 different pizzas and they were all fantastic. Our fave was the Prosciutto e Porcini, yum! Good value for money and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We saw this deal on Grabone, so we decided to give it a go. <br/>We ordered the Nuvola and Amore. Both were excellent!!! The attention to detail of how the base was cooked, was crispy, to the quantity of tomato based sauce through to the balance of toppings. We polished off both with ease. <br/><br/>Two pizza's were just right for two people with a couple of slices left over for lunch the next day. For an extra two dollars you get a way better pizza than Domino's chef special. You can't really compare. Excellent!!! Go fourth an order.

We visited Rosso Pomodoro last night for the first time. Our waiter was very friendly and courteous. We ordered a pizza to share, mushroom and truffle arancini and fried mozzarella and a beer and a glass of red wine. The mozzarella was delicious, melting in the middle and crisp on the outside. The arancini was delicious and loved the truffle flavour. The pizza was the best we have had in Auckland. Great value at $52.50. Will be back.

Not sure what I can fault here. This is one of the BEST pizza places I've tried, better than That's Amore, Toto, etc... the mushroom truffle rice balls are excellent and they have a great selection of vegetarian pizzas which is a big bonus for the vegetarian boyfie. The service was very warm, friendly and prompt - the place is quite quaint so it's not exactly first date appropriate, and I noticed most people just came in for takeaways instead of dining in, but I had an extremely positive dining-in experience here. The prices are very reasonable too. Maybe I'll come again next week.....

What a great deal.<br/><br/>Kind of random location .... but a standout hidden gem in the industrial area of Grey Lynn.<br/><br/>We had four pizza's and they were all delicious! We had the Fromaggio, Berta, Hawaiian and Margherita and they were totally authentic. These guys put other pizzas in Auckland to shame. We will definitely be back.

Great selection of vegetarian pizzas, friendly waitstaff, really nice atmosphere for eating in and really easy takeaway options. The dough is sometimes a little burnt on the bottom but apart from that, I love going there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when they have $15 pizzas.

A great, authentic Italian restaurant specializing in wood fired pizza takeaways.<br/><br/>We ordered two margheritas and a couple of suppli and were delighted with the quality and quantity of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the short waiting time.<br/><br/>They run great specials throughout the week - free delivers certain days etc etc. definitely pop in and grab a flyer from them!<br/><br/>The staff pay absolute attention to detail in their food, and even in their packaging - our orders were wonderfully presented.<br/><br/>Their sister restaurant is Pane & Vino in Ponsonby, so you can expect the same wonderful experience as you would receive there.

The staff there were extremely friendly. Their pizza taste really different to Pizza hut and Domino's. I assume they made authentic pizza because they are Italian. Highly recommend their Magherita pizza, very tasty.
