Hoppers Garden Bar is a hip and happening place to unwind. Great to find such a spot in Ponsonby, set away from the road in a quiet nook. The Octopus entree was a nice match with a glass of champagne.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
If you are looking for a nice relaxing afternoon this is the place to do it. There is a a huge selection of Gin to choose from. We had a couple of different gins and saw quite a few coming out. Been here twice this week and as much as I love Elmo’s I think this place is now my new fave out of the Ponsonby bars! Their Butterfly pea cocktail and their little octopus bites meal are to die for. Happy hour is great and their coconut marg is *chefs kiss*. My bank accounts gonna have to watch out

Always a great time and a great atmosphere at Hoppers, we tucked in to a few margaritas and chilli margaritas which were some of the best I’ve had. The staff are always friendly and the service is always top shelf. Highly recommend coming here next time you’re nearby.
