Ok wait - No word of a lie? This place has the nicest ladies in hospitality I’ve ever come across. My car broke down outside and was parked awkwardly, and I let the lady know and she was SO lovely, so accomodating and even offered to buy me a drink for the scary inconvenience happening outside.
Not only this, but the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! And the price point wasn’t breaking the bank.
I had the mushroom chicken pastry which was so yummy and the French toast again super delicious.
As I sit and observe the busy-ness over lunchtime? It just doesn’t stop. The ladies are so lovely and relational with every customer that comes through.
I will 1000000% be back to read, eat, and drink x

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and very spacious. Coffees were delicious as was the food, and the portions were generous - especially with the hot chips. The hollandaise sauce tasted slightly odd (sour?), and maybe presentation of the coffees could be improved, but these are minor setbacks. Overall we loved this place!

Friendly staff, great food and good atmosphere for a catch up with friends or work. There's a good selection of cabinet food and food from the kitchen as well (even the bread choices were more than they could remember), ice cream is also available if you're craving for one. There's a small gift section with some confectioneries if you're interested in that.

Just had eggs benedict with bacon and large latte with hazelnut. It was lukewarm by the time I got home but it was so delicious. Such generous serving especially the sauce. Coffee highly recommended. This place was my first choice when we went from level 4 lockdown. The service is impeccable.

What a lovely cafe. I took a friend for lunch the other day and we were most impressed with not only the service but the wonderful food and coffee. All made on the premises including the baking. Afghans to die for and prices extremely reasonable. If we want this cafe to stay in Manukau we have to use it!!!! Highly recommend.

Went to Rococo today in Manukau and enjoyed Roasted Vegetable Salad and Chicken Pasta Salad which I shared with my daughter. It was delicious. Followed with a naughty iced Chocolate mmmmmm. Would highly recommend going they have fantastic food available.

Place was ok. High ceiling and airy feel , was windy that day, and the doors were banging loudly when closing. Very annoying. Service was ok, lady was courteous. Had to wait for quite a while for food, but there were only us in the cafe(lunch time that is). We went in with zomato gold, so good for pricing. However Food were just average. May be that's enough for us.

Purchased a Groupon Voucher for 2 Meals with Hot Drinks for $25. Well worth the Value. Nice atmosphere as me and my partner sat outside in the sun it was gorgeous. The service needs alot of work and the food took a long time especially considering we were the only customers. The drinks were hot and great and the food was delicious. Cold water and glasses on hand near the counter you can help yourself to. I guess it’s the small things that sloped my review for only 2 stars - greeting/welcoming customers, seating customers, handing them menus, serving them cold water with glasses and in time taking their orders. The wait on food was too long and after reading other reviews it seems like I’m not the only one experiencing long waits and bad service. Goodluck, but sadly I can’t recommend.

Upon entering, looks promising! Nice decor and it's one of those cafes that is also part gift shop selling an array of sweets, trests and gift baskets. Waited about an hour for food, groups that came in after us had already ordered, received their food and already finished eating by the time we got ours. Our coffees were cold by the time the food came out. Aesthetically, it looks great! But the food was very mediocre and not even hot, more luke warm. I didn't like the hollandaise sauce on my eggs bene, and there was soooo much of it I couldn't even finish it. Service was meh.

I purchased a $25 voucher in Groupon for two people. The deal is really good as we ordered two dishes and it came with hot drinks. My partner ordered a cappuccino which tasted just fine and I ordered a cup of tea. The place gets a good amount of sunshine and is very spacious. The ambiance is very homey and welcoming. The food tasted good, nothing special. It's worth going here and spending $25 on a voucher is absolutely affordable. The lady who served us could do better though.

Went for a coffee and chat with friends and also had the pie and ice cream. It was mediocre but the goodies they had on display were I treating and if I wanted some gourmet goodies for a hamper I would go back. Would also love to try their food because there seemed to be a lot of people coming in and out for hot food.

Service was very slow even though the cafe was not busy. Good choice of cabinet food. We ordered a big breakfast and creamy mushroom which wasn’t at all creamy. Food was quite tasty and the ambience was nice. A nice place to visit if you are not in a hurry and great for socialising as it is quite spacious. The specials board of $13.90 for quite a few menu (open steak sandwich, steak & chips) sounded very reasonable.

Came here with a Groupon voucher for brunch. The staff member at the till couldn’t figure out how to add extra Hollandaise, Avocado and a side of chips to the order. I had already been waiting for her to figure it out for 5 minutes. I politely suggested that she makes two separate transactions (basic common sense right?) so she could run the voucher first, and I could pay for the extras separately. She rudely said I could pay for the extras after the meal then told me she was going to serve the person behind me. <br/><br/>The food was average and the coffee was terrible. Our extras never came. Staff avoided eye contact and ignored us our entire meal. <br/><br/>NOT. WORTH. IT.

Food and Coffee was excellent. Service was great. Great little cafe. Plenty of parking and clean premises. My wife and I chose the Steak Melt sandwich and it was beautifully made. Prices are really good for the food they have on offer even though we got a Groupon deal. Will definitely be back. Can’t forget the cookies and cream cake. You must try it if you’ve got a sweet tooth.

Bought a breakfast/lunch Groupon coupon for two plus any two hot drinks. The lady Zoe who took our order and served our food was super friendly and lovely! I ordered the large chicken couscous salad from the cabinet and a large soy latte while my hubby got the big breakfast with mocha. Both were so delish! My chicken salad was huge and I had to take some of it away! I felt that it was totally worth the price we paid for. Excellent service and the food came out fast. I got a date scone before we left to give to my 22months boy and he also loved it! <br/>We would definitely be coming here again!

Ordered chicken and chips. We received two mini tenderloins which were overcooked. The salad had no dressing and was unedible. Over priced for portion size. Had to wait forty minutes for my pathetic meal. Totally unsatisfied. Will never return.

I have been to Rococo a few times. One of my favourite cafes in Manukau as its not usually too packed and the seating is nice. I always get the french toast served with banana, bacon, a berry compote, maple syrup and creme fraiche which is always made delicious and served up nicely and I find it cheaper here than at other cafes but tastes better. Coffees are always good and nice seating. They have a big selection of lollies and cookies that are available to purchase and would make good gifts. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Would def recommend!

I had a meal at rococo today. The staff were so friendly and efficient. I had the most beautiful salad, the chicken cous cous, it was divine.Then I decided to have a sweet before heading back to work, had a mocha with a caramel slice, really lovely would recommend this lovely cafe. Will revisit any day.

The staff member who served us was really lovely, however the food was horrible. We both ordered Eggs Benedict with Bacon, Plates came over absolutely smothered in Hollandaise sauce - usually we would have been stoked about this, except the sauce was dead cold and SOUR. it was horrible and it covered EVERYTHING on the plate. we got mushrooms on the side and chips which were fine but the total was $40 and it was gross. Would not go back - which is unfortunate as all other reviews seem very positive - maybe an off day for the Chef? unsure but it was not a nice meal.

Came in with my partner mid Sunday morning. Welcoming staff very much appreciated. Weather was poor meaning we were the only ones in the dinning area. Ordered two breakfasts, a flat white and a mocca. Mocca came with a marshmallow. Place was clean tidy. Food was delicious particularly the mushrooms but not to takeaway from the dish as a whole. Coming back again. 5 because of the exceptional service and good overall product.

Their pies are huge! I ordered chicken with mushroom pie. It was okay-I thought it was just a bit bland.<br/><br/>Their chicken pesto salad was yummy. Pasta was cooked al dente, while diced chicken bits were tender. It had the right amount of flavour. <br/><br/>It was so quiet when I came here. The cashier/waitress was nice. But considering that it was down time, tables should have been tidied (the table where I got seated still had muffin crumbs on it).<br/><br/>I would probably come back to try one of their breakfast meals.

My wife and I took our Mums here today for Mothers Day lunch. Had a wonderful time. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make our lunch special for our mums. We opted for the Mother's Day special which was a drink,lunch and desert for $20. Great value. Everything was perfect, lovely food, fantastic service all in all an enjoyable afternoon. Will definitely come here again.

Rococo is a cafe that really rates very high on all fronts of the cafe culture. Food. Prices. Staff. Setting. All are excellent. I go here regularly & have never get been disappointed. Keep an eye on the salads. The selection changes daily and I have got some real favourites & combined with my signature dish, 3 filling omlette, I always have a reasonably priced meal that never disappoints!<br/>In the busy Manukau food scene Rococo is a cafe that works hard to always provide the best. @jsm_photos_#cafes#manukau

Excellent cafe. Parking outside fantastic service, lovely friendly staff, beautiful hot chocs and Iced Chicago. Inside & outside seating. Good selection of food from snacks to sandwiches to full meals. They also have a gift area with all sorts of gourmet sweets & chops & beautifully iced cakes & cup cakes, gift boxes etc. my friend & I went today and spent 2.5 hours there and they were fine with that. We did have more than one order over that time. They gave us a jug of water & and my cake to take home was put in a plastic container. Lovely atmosphere, not cramped, high ceilings. Will now be our regular meet up for a meal place. BTW the fish cakes are to die for. Well done Rococo. You have the perfect recipe for the best cafe.<br/><br/>

Came to Rococo for Lunch yesterday and got the Eggs Bene, It was absolutely AMAZING!<br/>The homemade hollandaise is so creamy and delish, and the Eggs were poached to Perfection unlike other places where the eggs are Chalky and overcooked. <br/>The music was Great and the couch we sat on at the back fo the cafe was a really cool touch.<br/>The coffee i got with my lunch was really good, strong coffee taste and came with a free peice of fudge to Sample!<br/>All up one of the best cafes iv been to in a long time.<br/><br/>
