Well Greedy Guts I am a reasonably regular visitor but today you weren't on form! First off a staff member was smoking at the door then came to serve me without washing her hands. I let that go because the food is usually amazing. I ordered a big little jimmy sandwich, chicken was so dry I had to drink water to eat it, bread so stale that the sandwich fell apart, bread all broke. A waste of $15.00. Bad day in the office Greedy Guts!

After hearing so many positive things about this place, my sister and I could not wait to try it out ourselves. Who doesn't love a big, hearty, cheesy sandwich right? ;)<br/><br/>Loved the small, but warm and cozy ambience of this place. The people serving us were very friendly and smiley. Also, they provide free cinnamon water, which was a lovely touch :) There were only a few items listed on the menu, but everything looked delicious. We were looking forward to having shakes or smoothies with our sandwiches, however this place does not offer milkshakes, and there was only one flavour for smoothies. Thank goodness my smoothie was not too bad - it was Carribean flavoured, which was supposed to consist of mango, banana, and coconut water. It was nice and thick, and tasted strongly of banana. But at $8 it wasn't really worth it, and I wish the mango flavours were stronger.<br/><br/>The grilled cheese sandwiches were made from whole grain bread (which was nice), and had a lot of fresh vegetables. They were generous with the amount of cheese they put, but it was definitely not the good old trashy cheesy sandwiches that we were expecting, tasted a lot 'healthier' 😛 I also really appreciated the fact the they used free range chicken, the quality difference was obvious. The sandwiches did not look big, but they were incredibly filling because of the amount of ingredients. I was full after half of the sandwich. <br/><br/>All in all, I would describe their food as more gourmet than classic. Definitely a great, alternative spot for grab-and-go or a quick sit-down lunch.

A small, cute cafe with a great set of staff. The team are friendly and welcoming. They even toasted my banana bread! I've never thought of doing that, and it really added to the food. When I'm in the area, I know where I'll be eating! 😊 can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

Popped in here for lunch & had the smoked fish on bruschetta, with basil, tomato & horseradish. Delicious! It was really tasty & fresh, & very filling. Service was great. Can't complain. I'll be back!

Even though the shop is small, their menu is not extensive, but they do offer really good choices! Friend and I had the "Bird Face" and " Big Little Jimmy" today. Both were really nice! Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Will definitely come back for more!

Fantastic breakfast eatery for on the run or eat in. Bacon and egg baps might look small but they pack a punch, especially for lovers of crispy bacon. The coffee is also up there with the best.

This is my favourite place for workday coffee and breakfast. Have yet to find anything on the menu that I haven't enjoyed - from the legendary Bacon Sandwich (great hangover relief), to the Avocado on Toast to the simple but effective Boiled Eggs on Toast.

The avocado on toast is amazingly tasty and well thought out. Deliciously seasoned. It's perfectly proportioned to leave me satisfied but not stuffed and only place I know of where you could easily eat it as take away as each piece can be held in your hand and devoured without a knife and fork. The coffee was good too.

Decided to come here for my Friday lunch today. Firstly have to say, what a cool small space, the food is rather tasty and the concept behind their product is spot on!<br/><br/>What was a <br/>major letdown is the hygiene practices I observed while waiting. The hand wash basin had a pot of food in it <br/>being used for the products they are serving, major no no! In addition, I also observed the chiefs using <br/>their bare hands to prepare the food (which is expected) but at the same time <br/>of preparing the food they also used their mobile phone, the iPad & eftpos machine <br/>and gave their arms a good scratching / itching without washing their hands before preparing the food again. In saying this the staff were super awesome and I suspect this come down to the fact the kitchen for the chiefs is so small <br/>it’s barely functional and the lunch time rush.<br/><br/>Yes I still ate my food even after observing this so will see what happens tomorrow :-S

I have been here a couple of times and already love it. The space is small but full of character, the staff are always super friendly and chirpy which is such a nice thing to have early in the morning, the menu sounds amazing (although I haven't eaten here properly) and the cabinet food is drool worthy. I tried a vegetarian scroll/scone thing and it was incredibly tasty and full of flavour.<br/><br/>The thing I love most here is the coffee. Their long blacks are a good test of the quality of the coffee and the coffe-making abilities, and this is one of the only cafes where I am 100% happy getting a long black instead of a latte. The coffee is strong and smooth, with none of the awful acidity that so often occurs with black coffee. <br/><br/>Highly recommend for a cold Monday morning where good coffee and food (and service) makes all the difference.<br/><br/>Sarah Reynolds #challenge

I decided to come here for lunch one Friday after a friends recommendation to try it - I'm glad I listened to her! This is literally less than 25metres from where I work and I'm happy it's so close!<br/><br/>The decor is inviting and warm and even though it is quite a quaint, little venue they have maximised their space really well. <br/><br/>I was tossing up between one of their open sandwiches or grilled sandwiches and opted for their bird face grilled sandwich. The bird face had jerk roast chicken, chipotle mayo, apple chutney and Gruyere. It was delicious - the apple chutney and chipotle worked so well together, and who doesn't love grilled melted cheese and chicken?! The serving was very generous and I have to admit, I was struggling to finish it all. <br/><br/>I'll be back to try the other options they have!

After a suggested Facebook post, decided to pop in. Got a breakfast sandwich that had bacon, egg, pork sausage, spinach and parmesan.....was a great choice! The softest lightest bread roll I've ever had, and fillings that could have been greasy were fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back again and try the other things on the menu.
