Deliciously flame grilled chicken. Always such a busy spot so I tried it out and it was delicious. Despite how busy the place was, it only took 20mins for the food to come out which was great. The $40 combo for a full chicken and two sides was perfect to fill two adults. Easy ordering via online system was great. Plenty of glass cups and cutlery around, along with plenty of choices of Nandos sauces. Great experience all out :)

Get a free chips by downloading the Nando’s app before you order . Food was amazing as always . Staff was nice . Not crowded in weekdays to be honest. Loved the peri peri half chicken . It was more than enough for one person. Hope to go back there soon . Service was better than st Luke’s one .

We just ordered spicy rice and peri peri fries as take away since we had other food from elsewhere. We ordered large Fries, which were tasty but the peri peri powder was not coated evenly which is a shame. The spicy rice lacked a bit of salt. Service was superb and atmosphere as usual is great in Nando’s. They have a seating area for those who have walked in just to order for take away.

Had take away yesterday but dined in today for lunch, food is consistent with the Nando’s brand and it was good. For dine in the restaurant is quite spacious and has many tables, you order and pay at the counter but the food is sent to your table if you dine in. Seemed like they were short of staff but it was clean enough and tables were eventually cleared once the staff had time.

It was my first time getting Nando's because I'm a tourist and because chicken and hot sauce. I was expecting the "extra hot" sauce to be spicier(?) but maybe because I was expecting it, and it wasn't, was a little let down LOL other than that everything was super yummy! Not pictured: Thigh and Slaw burger. Kinda pricey- $85 for small(?) portions. Oh, the halloumi sticks were sad little pieces of halloumi on a plate so I probs won't get those again.

Stopped here before heading to a comedy night up the road. We were able to order from our table using a QR code however you HAVE to enter a lot of details such as email and cellphone to I assume serve you marketing materials, which I am not a fan of at all. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the tables were clean and same with the bathrooms. I got a chicken wrap, and my partner had a chicken burger, the meat was nice and moist, and the other ingredients looked fresh. However it was not super flavourful, a lot of the flavour was derived from whatever hot sauce was applied to the meal, rather than any marination on the meat. It did hit the spot though and felt a bit healthier of an option when compared to the other options within 100m. Nando's was also receptive to modifications to my partners burger, removing the onions from it as she cannot eat them, which was helpful.

Nando's does not allow pay in cash, that's the only teeny downside for tourists. Other than that, it's so very delicious for a hungry foodie.

I was here with few mates a few weeks ago. I must say, the experience was great! The staff was very warm, friendly and the ambience was very good. I loved their tables, seating and lighting arrangements. The food was good and the staff explained us everything properly specially various level of spices :) Food presentation was good and I quite liked their idea of placing flags as shown in the pictures on the dishes denoting mild or spicy. Their Espartada is a must try! Would highly recommend and visit again! Cheers

Trying to be healthy @nznandos 👌👌. Superfuel salad ($11.50) with haloumi ($4) and a classic chicken burger ($10) 🍔🥗🤤 . . Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Value: 3/5 Recommend: 3.5/5 . . . The salad alone was worth the value but I don't recommend the haloumi as an add on. $4 for 3 small slices really wasn't worth 😕. My friend got the chicken burger which was aite but not amazing. Just stick with the chicken and peri peri chips when you go to nandos i guess 😅

Everything from the atmosphere to the food is outstanding. Some perks Include free water and unlimited sauces. I ordered the quarter chicken with fries which costs $15 but if you have a student ID, you are entitled to 10% off. Can't praise this franchise enough.

Sadly the meal was below average. The chicken was quite dry and fries were super soggy. The vegetarian paella was disappointing and quite spicy. It had one or two pieces of mushrooms and chunks of mashed chickpea patties. The rice was hard and not soft like the traditional paella.

Tastes like how Nandos should taste! Got the periperi chips and i particularly like the way this was presented. Somewhat unique. I don't remember exactly what it's called but i remember it being very delicious. Sometimes, the chicken lacks a bit of flavour but they have complimentary sauces which is good.

Food was filling but average at best, the service also average AT BEST! Ordered at the same time as my girlfriend, and she was nearly done with her meal by the time mine arrived. Also went up to the counter to ask about my food, just to see it just sitting, plated in the kitchen, going cold... On a side note, I also wish Nando’s would stop watering down their ketchup and other sauces.

Had to order a classic; the fllame grilled peri peri chicken in mild; chicken was soft with bursting flavor from the sauce, not dry and tender to bite. Tangy taste, not spicy at all and we were served two pieces of chicken. 8/10 Peri peri chips; not the crunchiest fries out there, were soft and really average with exception of the spices that gave it somewhat of a flavor. Not my spoon of chips but my friend did enjoy! 5/10 I’ve also been here another time and ordered the chicken which were up to expectation and the bbq ribs. The ribs didn’t really stand out to me, there was a lot of meat and it quickly tasted bland. (But to be fair it took me a while before I realized it was still chicken! Did anyone else not realize that?? Just me? Okay.) I love that they serve everything with the cute toothpick and flag, also quickly mention that the seating is expansive and comfy, also welcoming and well lit.

I visit this Nando’s frequently when studying at uni and the food is always top quality! Very fresh and food is made quickly! Always a reliable spot to grab lunch, chicken paella is my personal favourite and is such a filling lunch for a reasonable price. Indoor decor is lovely and also has outdoor seating too.

I go often at Nando’s but I have never done a review before on them. Truthfully they deserved a 3 star for the last 2 times. The chicken was burned and also their portions got smaller. But because I love the chicken on this place, which normally is good value on money, I will give them 4* Best chicken in town for a quick meal (or not)

We loved this Nandos. The interior was beautiful,well cleaned and spacious. Loved the sitting areas. Service was a bit slow since we got our order quite late served and people who had come after us received before us, which we can understand since it was Friday night plus this place is quite busy all the time. Like always we love the Chicken here at Nandos. The Queen st one is nice and refreshing and the details in their interiors and decor are quite nice. Staff are very friendly. We had ordered the Garden Salad which was Amazing! The portion is enough to share between two and was served with fresh green salads. The other thing which we like of Nandos is their classic Espetada which is the Chicken served in skewers with onions and capsicums. The little disappointment was that it was undercooked, But we were very glad that after we complained the staff looked into it and someone came to take it back and also asked us if we want a fresh replacement. It is always good so see restaurants that actually value their customers and give wonderful service. We were happy once our skewers were brought back cooked well and we enjoyed our meal leaving with a smile. Another dish I would absolutely recommend is the Corn serve which is a side dish. It was the Best!!!

Me & my partner go all the way to this Nando’s branch (which is like almost an hour away from where we live) cause we really like the atmosphere here and it’s comfortable (which we really need to consider when we’re eating out cause we have a baby). I have been quite a few times and its a busy restra in the middle of town. Its always full and there is a waiting time of 15-20 minutes for the food to be served. We quite like their decor and menu. Their chicken dishes ,chips are very nice however paella was the only thing which we found on lower side.

I got introduced to Nando’s only after coming to New Zealand & I must say they left me quite impressed. I have eaten from their old Queen street outlet as well, but the new outlet offers more space & better ambience. The restaurant has a South African vibe in their decor, the colourful artwork & textured walls do catch your eye. It is large space & are fairly busy. Service is not very fast, you do need to wait a little long if they are busy. I generally order the shared platter. I last went with my friends & ordered whole chicken (half mild & half hot) with one large side. These platters are great to share with friends & family. The portion size is good enough to fill your tummy. The chips are just out of this world, always hot and fresh....love the peri-peri seasoning on them. The Espetada & Paella are good to try too, but with larger group platters work best. Nando’s is a little bit on pricier side but the food is worth it. Do try their extra bloody hot sauce.....it’s a nice kick for your taste buds....!

Absolutely love Nandos! The people here are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. The food came out on time and everything was really nice, it tasted and looked amazing and the portion sizes were huge! We ordered a large platter of 1/2chicken, 5 chicken tenders and 5 bbq wings with peri peri chips which were absolutely divine! However, the downside to this was that the salad we ordered had a bug in it but they gave us a refund of the salad and were apologetic about it. So overall it was good, but because of that bug in the salad I had to award only 3 stars.

Nando's Queen St. is one of the best Nando's in Auckland. Friendly and good vibe! Always busy but prompt service. Chicken is always yummy, cooked properly and taste so good. I always order chicken and their spicy rice.....good and handy sauces around, self serve cutleries and water is a big plus!

Queue jumping seems to be norm amongst the student queuing up to order. Didn’t bother ordering and walked out. Only go there when they have staff to actually serve you.

I use to eat here regularly until one day i got really bad service and decided not to come back. First of all the customers are not always right in this store, nor shall they have any respect or hospitality as the non speaking english staff are hostile and like to argue. Dont go to the queen street branch of nandos, unless you like crap service and expensive food.

Quite a sizeable restaurant on Queen St. Restaurant is usually busy but service is reasonably prompt. Food prepared to a good standard. Fresh & well made. Only let down is the bathrooms. There aren't many, and for the number of tables in the restaurant & therefore customers using them, they really need to be cleaned way more often.

Food is devine. The atmosphere is calm and soft. Music is classic so not very disturbing. Service is precise and people are quiet friendly. If one wants to try something indian yet classy....do try. I tried the chicken mild and was on point.

Whenever we visit we make sure to order the chicken without too much spice, because when you go higher it loses a lot of flavour and isnt really worth it, and I like spicy food. Overall really satisfying meals, chicken and sides always taste good and how you'd expect.

I love the food in this place, well priced, good quality. Service is good too. I visit regularly and I would've given it 4 points easy but there's, however, a really frustrating problem with this place (and other Nando's restaurants I've been to lately): The last times (4 or 5 in a row) I visited my food got cold waiting on my table, because there were no forks, no knives, and no glasses available. When asked staff the answer was always "they are being washed" - "uh... ok?". One of these times the manager mentioned I should try eating with my hands - "dude.... a paella with my hands... really?". Cool, waited for about 20 minutes while my food was right there laughing at me. When I go to a place to get lunch/dinner/tea/etc I expect to have the means to eat what I bought, not having cutlery and glasses is not acceptable. EVER. Even takeaway-only places offer disposable cutlery. How can a restaurant operate when it runs out of cutlery and glasses during service? tip: It can't A restaurant without cutlery is like... well, you get it.

Got a platter as my partner and I were very hungry. Great accompaniment especially given the cold Auckland weather. We went for extra hot sauce. Give the tenderloins a try, it wont disappoint and keep BBQ sauce for the wings.

Nandos have been one of the first halal certified fast food joints in nz. And its worth trying it out. I love their peri peri fries the most. Their sauces are just finger licking good. Infact the entire menu is quite yummilicious. They have good seating arrangements and staff. Best thing is that their outlets are scattered well around the auckland city. So whenever we are out, we always have one of their outlets nearby.

Prettiest nandos restaurant I've seen in auckland! Nice outdoor area for dining and the water tap inside is pretty epic. Looks fancier than the others as there's no main menu board which makes it harder to order as you have to look at a menu. Otherwise the food was good and the restaurant vibes were all round positive for a nandos.

The 1/2 chicken was a good portion and was good!! Recommend to try this out. But I ordered 5 BBQ thighs but they we're super super tiny like they the size of a chicken nugget !!!! Incredibly disappointed when it came to the table with 2 sprigs of lettuce and it costs $11.90 such a rip off. The staff and service was friendly and fast. Nice environment and average music. Altogether my meal costs $32.20 (8.90+7.00)(1/2chicken meal) + (11.90) for the smallest chicken thighs in the WORLD! They were more like slices of chicken breast as they were dry. I recommend NANDOS to have pre-priced meals. Never getting the thighs ever again.

I can't believe why it has so high rating..I have tried few times in Europe.i really enjoyed eating Nandos. Having similar expectations I went to the queen street , the chicken was so greasy and not cooked properly. This gave me loose bowel after few hours of eating there. Never wanna go back again.

Nandos!! Where do I even begin. I have tried out possibly everything on their menu but I still go back to the tried and tested signature dish, the unbelievably amazing peri peri grilled chicken. Every other grilled chicken pales in front of this sheer awesomeness. Don't even get me started on the variety in peri peri sauces. Must visit but be prepared to deal with extremely greasy fingers.

Nice interior with vibrant atmosphere. The furniture is still relatively new. There are many booths which would be good for group diners. Ordered half chicken but the portion size was quite small. The bottled sauces are tasty though. The corn should have been grilled more, but it is better than burnt food.

Love the interior decoration and the vibrant, upbeat vibe of this new restaurant. Also impressed to see that they have a vegetarian menu. Husband and I both ordered the supremo burger. Although the flavours were rather good, the serving sizes were extremely small for what you pay for. My sister had the classic chicken burger which hardly have any mayo, she said even McDonald's was better. We were still left hungry after the meal and had to go find food elsewhere. All in all I regret to say will probably not visit again in the future :(

My partner decided to take me here as he thought the new location and look of this nandos was appealing. The inside of this place definitely differs from the rest and reminds me of other nandos branches I have visited overseas (nostalgic vibes). I love the look of bathroom vessel sinks, very cool. Not so cool that most soap dispensers had no soap in them.... We ordered the usual and some how they mucked up our order, giving us small fries to share instead of the large we ordered - they fixed this up though when we addressed the issue. My partner's half chicken was a little cold on the inside which he was quite annoyed about. My chicken bbq ribs were good... All in all, this is a nice branch and I would probably visit again in the future, but only if I was in the city.
