iPress is a great spot and has a nice fit out, however at $7.50 for an iced latte I do feel it’s a bit over priced (usually $6.00-$6.50). The service was quite slow, but I appreciate it’s probably more suited for a dine-in experience rather than a coffee on the run. Thanks anyway, the coffee was good. I would not recommend this place to one who is after an exceptional cuisine. But this is one of the nicest places in the city for work, study, and have a meeting. The layout is convenient, the space is ambient, and the staff is welcoming. And clearly you can have some beverage and a bit of food when you get hungry.

This was the second time that I went here and I'm telling you they just keep on setting the bar high. First visit was a month ago and the taste of the food was spectacular. Then came in for brunch again, different staffs were on duty but you still get that amazing service!!! Consistency!!! So I had the same thing again their fried chicken and salmon benedict on hash. It was divine. The hollandaise is home made not bought. This time we've decided to add some soft shell crab which we definitely love too. Food arrived so quickly. I like the fact that they try to do it cafe style but they added some hint of asian flavour in their dishes. I would always recommend this place to my friends and would always come back with or without Zomato gold discount.

I came here last Saturday with no plans. Try their soup of the day that the staff recommend, they serving pumpkin soup. The pumpkin soup for me is refreshing since they add orange zest in it on the other hand unfortunately the sweetness of this soup too overwhelming. I like their bread more than the soup, its soft and cooked right. The plating just ok since its plain, not the plating that will make you “wow I want to eat that”. For the chai latte i expect to taste the chai ofc, but I taste more milk than the chai tea instead. I choose spicy one can taste the ginger on it which is nice touch on the tongue and not make your tongue ‘ticklish’, cute serving tho with the swirl of cinnamon powder.

This was potentially worst breakfast we have ever had. So unfortunate as we had heard such great things. Everything we ordered was bought out incorrect. Our drinks weren't bought to our table until well after our meals were. I ordered a bacon and cheese toasted sandwich, which came out untoasted with no cheese and one tiny piece of bacon between two huuyge cold pieces of bread? I sent it back and it still came back uncooked? Very confusing. The 'egg soldiers' also came out as a poached egg atop a plain piece of bread? It seemed everyone taking the order or making the order knew absolutely nothing about the menu or food in general. When we asked to give the manager feedback at the end of our meal, we discovered he was also the one cooking the food! So obviously our feedback wasn't going to go far. Very disappointing. Would certainly not revisit.

We got [French Toast], [Sambal & Cheese Scramble], [Soft Shell Crab Benedict] and [Pulled Jackfruit Tacos]. __________________________ ▶️ [French Toast] delicate stack of honey-soaked #brioche slices encircled by berry compote, summer fruits, vanilla mascarpone, nut praline and honeycomb. Balanced interplay between sweet and tangy. ▶️[Sambal & Cheese Scramble] sweet and mildly spicy #Sambalsauce for enhanced flavours to a very well-scrambled egg that was smooth. Underwhelming seed toast that was a bit soggy and too thin. ▶️[Soft Shell Crab Benedict] crispy crumbed #softshellcrab, tad under-seasoned however. Poached eggs could have been more runny, but the hash stack was generous and pan-fried very well to be crunchy outside and butter inside. The Kumara velouté added colour and flavours as well as the texture that ties other components together. ▶️[Jackfruit Tacos] punchy citrus flavours of the Jamaican jerk intensified by the natural tanginess of the #Jackfruit. Excellent establishment that offers something different in the well-established cafe market in Mount Eden village. The hash browns are the best I've found, and the ingredients they use are good quality and fresh. The eggs are cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were adequate. The beverages were well done. Let me just say that I Press got me IMPRESSED 🤩 It was the day before my sisters wedding so we were really feeling that health grind 🥗 I ordered the Falafel and my sister got the Jackfruit Slider. The presentation was stunning! I hate those ‘trendy’ cafes where the food looks pretty but it tastes like garbage 😷 Broccoli and spinach were cooked perfectly, not too soft and still had some crunch! Falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and almost fluffy on the inside 🤩 Baked Kumara chips were on point and the kumara purée reminded me of Ube which was super interesting! I’ve never had jackfruit as a savoury item, sounds like a WILD concept to me 🤔 But damn, this taco wasn’t here to play around 🌮 The bbq, Jamaican jerk creme, iceberg lettuce, jalapeños and aioli combo was BOMB AF 💣 Also the staff member was so lovely! They have upstairs dining which I’d highly recommend! Would love to try more of their menu 😍

The setup of this place is really nice, or interesting. Either way it was a nice relaxing place to be. I didn't really enjoy the slow jazz music, it was a little sad sounding. Great location. Nice new café in the heart of mount eden village. The menu has some great options and everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasty. We had the granola and soft shell crab eggs Benedict. The juices are really good too. We had the green one, it was really nice - not too vege tasting, but not too sweet either

Amazing environment, it's not crowded when I arrive about 1pm. A bit cold as the windows and door are wide open, especially when the car and bus pass by and brought up a strong wind, I cant really bear with cold so my nose start sneezing, remember bring a jacket with you ;) food is huge, very satisfying after eating, we ordered both ipress complete with different egg style. Even better if they serve butter, but they do have avocado in the dish to eat with bread. They decorated with flower which bring another aroma in food. Staffs are friendly. Coffee is normal. Had an absolutely perfect lunch at Ipress today. Came just before 2pm and the cafe wasn’t super busy. It’s a big venue and is decorated so nicely! Had lots of board games for kids too. Both my friend and I ordered the sauteed mushrooms. . It was really good and wasn’t sickening (sometimes it gets too creamy and heavy at some places). It was a nice touch to have a hashbrown rather than bread and the potato itself was super crispy and delicious. We also both ordered coffee which was served in large cups and had good strength. The service was very polite and friendly, checking up on us and didn’t feel rushed with deciding what to order. Great value for money and excited to come back to try some other offerings.

First time to visit this cafe. It spread in two levels. Upstairs have plenty of seats. Staffs were very attentive and friendly. Ordered the complete (big breakfast) and it was served in a very short time. Everything on the plate taste great. Love the bacon in particular which is a thick cut version with skin. My only suggestion would be to include a dollop of butter on the toast. Overall a very satisfied meal and would come back again to try the other dishes.

The eggs benedict with the soft shell crab were amazing! The sauce on it complimented the soft shell crab very nicely and there was a good amount of it. The French toast along with the drinks were nice too. Ambience was good and the service was very friendly. Absolutely adored this place! The interior is beautiful and spacious so that you're not sitting too close to another table. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food exceeded my expectations. They have a diverse menu and each dish comes with a unique component that you wouldn't have imagined, yet blends with the rest of the flavors beautifully. Ipress is one of the best cafe's I've had the pleasure of going to. The service is great, and I'd definitely recommend sitting on the 2nd level of the premise, as the view just gives you that old-fashioned vibe. The retro and old fashioned decoration just adds so much more to it. Let's talk about the price. Cafe food usually can be quite pricey, and it really has to blow me away to be worth it. I can definitely say that the food definitely did just that. We went for the iPress complete as well as the french toast. Both beautiful and filling dishes, that definitely give you what you pay for. Coffee and iced drinks are just as good. All in all, a really satisfying experience. I would definitely come here more often, if only I had been more local.

We came here on labour day for lunch , they have really nice interior and seatings, however we opt for outdoor seating as we have our fur baby with us. Loved I-Press. From the set up to the service to the food! This place should be as busy as Frasers just across the road. We had the Egg Bene with Bacon, Hash, Spinach and sambal hollandaise as well as the Sambal and Cheese scrambled eggs with pickled chilli, spinach and spring onions. Flavours were amazing and poached eggs were perfectly cooked and scrambled eggs were melt in your mouth soft! Will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu!

Environment and service are ok. However the egg Benedict was nowhere near the traditional egg bene that anyone would expect, taste is horrible, it may be that they wanted to be creative, but the taste really is horrible and not worth the money at all. Also the long black is very sour, if you like a sour taste coffee then you might it. We ordered a large flat white and the size of the large cup was really the medium size cup in many cafe. Will not go back again.

I’ve been to iPress a few times over the last month and each time I continue to be impressed. The food is great (both the cabinet food and menu food) and coffee is creamy and bitter. The cafe itself is fresh, clean and comfortable. I love the decor, and having board games to play is an added bonus of the place. Highly recommend.

Such a wonderland in mt eden for parents who love to coffee time with kids. They have really delicious slow cooked steak and beautiful presentation pancake with so much fresh fruits, healthy and pretty！ soft shell crab egg bene taste prefect too. One important thing is, they have a large child play area upstairs, and they also have a lift for parents who have stroller, that's soooool sweet！cold press juice also good for kids health. Decided to check this place out as we'd heard they were under new ownership. Came in around 10am on Sunday and got seated and server straight away by a very friendly waitress. Food and coffees came out quickly and all six of us thought it was delicious.

This is a very awesome place and well worth to go with families during the weekend. We pretty much enjoy the environment and food with reasonable price here, my child loves to play at the kids corner as well. Cold pressed juice is one of my favorite which I haven’t found the similar product in somewhere else so far. They offer the meal speedy with high quality. Ordered a soy flat white and an omelette expecting something "fluffy" as per the menu description. The flat white was curdled, the soy milk clearly hadn't been frothed properly. My omelette came out half raw, which I took a couple bites of assuming that maybe the liquid on top was melted cheese. I sent the omelette back and was served a new one once the others had finished their meals which was fine, but this time it was way overcooked in far too much oil. My friends' meals looked great (eggs benedict) but would not recommend the omelette - probably the worst I've ever had. Wait staff were lovely and very attentive but far from satisfied with the coffee/food in this place.

After reading the reviews, I expected this place to be legendary. We were quite disappointed unfortunately. One of the reasons we chose it was because it targeted all of our dietary requirements. So when I ordered something dairy free, explained I was allergic, checked twice that it was dairy free, I expected to to be dairy free. Round #1: served with feta on top of avocado. It's okay though, human error, all good. Told the waitress, who was absolutely lovely, which caused round #2: feta had been scraped off and re-served. The problem was that it was more than traces of because we could see scraped feta. So we told the waitress who was really apologetic. Round #3: food re-done, very little avo, quite basic. The other two meals weren't great either, overly sweet. Service: 5/5 Food: 2/5 Ambience: 5/5 Chai latte (w/coconut milk): 5/5 - this was so good, I can't rate the café below a 3

Disappointing! Fresh decor BUT flies on coffee cups awaiting use, and when pointed out NO action taken. There are always flies here. Also sitting on scones awaiting cabinet. Sticky tables. Loud music so you can't hear. Expensive cakes. There is a lot of competition n Mt Eden and will need to do better, and it would not be that hard!

Whoever made that pecan tart should get a medal! I’m giving 5/5 just for that pecan tart oh yes. To be honest I’m not a fan of carrot cake, NY cheesecake or caramel slice something like that but they usually show up in cafe cabinet -_- so whenever I go to a cafe I look for the cakes other than those and see which one interests me. And pecan tart caught my eyes:) The staff kindly checked with the chef about the ingredients of the tart as I can’t eat cinnamon. Luckily there wasn’t any cinnamon so I could choose it:) pecan tart was not too sweet as it looked like. The tart base was nicely made, not too tough to break apart but not too soft to hold the filling. The pecan on top gave a crunchy texture and contrasted with the moist tart filling which also had a mild pecan flavour. It was $6.90 only but was massive! Was gonna try the cold pressed juice also but it was pricey so I ordered iced choc instead. I really loved the interior of the cafe. Bright, neat and has a theme of nature/plants so lots of green deco. Free wifi also so you can go upstairs to study for a whole afternoon:) Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Little gem in the heart of Mount Eden Village. Been here a few times and where service lacks significantly (having to flag someone down to order, ask for waters etc, dirty dishes on table half an hour after we finish), the food makes up in quality and taste. My fave dish - falafel salad. I love that this salad is so colourful and nutritious. The flavours go really well together. A great weekend brunch dish.. Although the falafels are more of a treat🙊

Came here with my friend for a late lunch. Fresh juice was yum. I ordered the fish n chips and my friend ordered the steak burger. The steak was a little over cooked for my friends liking and not as tender as she liked. Fish n chips was good though, nice batter and the fish was fresh. Standard cafe menu but still enjoyable. Friendly and prompt service. Nice atmosphere with a lot of seating upstairs and downstairs.

Went there for Father’s Day for morning tea and managed to get seating upstairs. Wasn’t impressed with the slow service even though it wasn’t that busy there. Ling blacks were a 2/5, and the caramel slice seemed ruined by the cornflakes on top, otherwise tasty. Although decor was great, I’m not in a hurry to go back.

We came here for lunch- 6 of us. Unfortunately there were a couple of issues- food took half an hour to come out and a few of the meals had items on that we asked to be swapped out for something else. The iced coffee is also literally just ice milk and coffee so for $7 it’s not really worth it. However, the fish and chips were so yum and the fries are soooo good. Corn fritters are ok too, could just do with a bit more seasoning and maybe a relish to accompany them.

Lovely cafe!! Stopped here for lunch yesterday. It was a really light airy open cafe and nice and quiet upstairs in particular. The coffee was super ,one of the best long blacks I've had for sure. And I had the frittata from the cabinet as a small snack and himself had the falafel for something more substantial . Both were great really tasty !! I only buy my coffee from I-Press, they do the best coffee in the Village in my opinion . There is a good selection of cabinet food, and the staff are always super friendly. Unfortunately the only thing that lets it down is the lack of heating - it's absolutely freezing in there! For that reason, I wouldn't sit in there during winter.

Came in for brunch today. We ordered the Buttermilk Hotcakes and the Ipress Benedict. We were served with sparkling water and service was good. Environment was relaxing. The Buttermilk Hotcakes were thick and glazed with berry composite. It tasted quite nice with the sauce. The eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection and the hashbrown it sat on was crispy on the outside and soft within. We also tried the passionfruit cheesecake and it felt super dense to eat. The texture was extremely creamy but there wasn't much cream cheese flavour to it as the passionfruit flavour was too overpowering.

The staff here were so so lovely and really went the extra mile! They made my day :P The cafe itself is really cool, especially the upstairs seating area and the coffee was great,, they made sure it was exactly what I wanted!

I had the worst experience ever in this cafe as I waited for 40 mins for an egg benedit and it came out cold. The Egg were vinegary, portion was tiny, it is just how you define " Dog Food''. I was confuse about that is she really a CHEF? After I finished the meal, the brondie waitress who served me at the counter asked me" is everything ok? What a Shameless woman she is!! Didn't she see my face is full of anger and frustration?? I strongly NOT recommend to waste your time and money, most importantly, your mood, to eat those 'dog food'!!! If Possible, I would give 0 Star to this cafe as it does NOT worth a single Star!!

Tried Ipress juices at the Food Show last year so was keen to try their cafe. We both ordered the Ipress benedict which had a yum slab of hash brown. Crispy on the outside with soft fluffy shredded potato in the middle. Bacon could have been a bit crisper but overall a good dish. Coffee was well made & the juices were as good as ever. Only issue was a piece of Coffee Walnut cake we shared afterwards which was soooo dry it was barely edible.

Ordered a cappuccino, and my friend ordered the Iced Chocolate. The cappuccino was not bad, but not good either. It wasn't smooth or creamy enough;the top was more like a fluffy. Nice staff though.

Great food and lovely coffee. I've tried a few menu items- ipress beny is yummy, served on lovely thick hash brown. The cabinet food is also nice and alwats fresh- I like that they have nice veggie and vegan options too. The brownie is delicious and rich, otherwise my favourite is their gluten free almond orange cake. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate requests.

Fantastic concept and I’m a little surprised you don’t see more of these artisan juice establishments, I think the layout and ambiance is spot on. We did try one of there cabinet desserts which were a beautifully decorated biscuit with cream, fondant, and sprinkles. A+ for decoration, however, it wasn’t the nicest thing to consume, it lacked any real distinctive flavor and really tasted like an over-sugared cookie. Showstopper: Love the concept, the juices aren’t too bad, I do fear for them because their juices are leaning towards the pricer side. Overall Grade: B+

Stopped by here for a coffee after a walk from Mt Eden. I wasnt really sure if it was new but I think it is. I only had the iced mocha since it was hot and I wasnt hungry and my friend had a piccolo. We both enjoyed our coffee and saw some great dishes being served to the other tables. The service was great but the table next to us didnt get their coffee. No worries because the cafe gave it to them for free as an apology. I guess it was new since the servers were still not used to the order influx. The bathroom was also not done yet. I will, however, come back here again just to try the food. It looked yummy.

What a vibrant and refreshing cafe. The menu is simple and has all your essential and usual cafe food. The prices are reasonable and the food is well presented. Food is decent and their bottled blends of juices are amazing.

Wanted to head off to another cafe but saw this gem on the way. Love the way the cafe is set up. Feels very fresh and new. Nature feel. Seeing all the greens and the pots . Felt welcomed and staffs are really friendly. Ordered beer battered fish and chips and had chicken pie as well. Really like the fish and chips. Not sure what fish was that but it's also kind of fishy. It's nice I personally like it so it depends on individual preferences. The chips were done pretty well~ crispy and it also comes with tartar sauce. However the chicken pie was a bit of let down as I thought the inside would be thicker . It feels a little too light for a pie and feels it could be done at home. But I do really recommend you to try as I would definitely be back for more dishes

OMG!!! I LOVE the Eggs Benedict!!! Seems like they did change the menu, looks a little bit differently than before, but totally great improvement.. hey guys! Strongly recommend EGGS BENEDICT!!!! And also I love the juice over there, it's tasty really fresh and healthy!!

I'm very pleased to have found this cafe soon after it opened. I've really ejoyed the food, and as I've had a few meals from the menu and occasional cabinate food, I believe I can give an honest review. I've found the food has always been very tasty and well presented, and the staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options available, as is a glass of wine. They also have a conference room upstairs for those group meetings or events.

I ordered a slice of New York Cheesecake (4/5) and a cup of Flat White (5/5) on my first visit. I love plants, so obviously their very green ambience really spoke to me and I fell in love at the first sight (cheesy, yes?). The staff is extremely friendly. Although I went with a friend, it's definitely one of those cafes where you can go alone and get work done in peace (I look forward to doing that). I went here on a weekend so I was expecting it to be really busy - but it surprisingly wasn't and I was happy about it. Their service is fast as well which gets them brownie points. Oh also, their cold pressed juices are yummy! Do try the Pineapple, Orange and Apple one.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in, the decor and interior is lovely. It's a really spacious cafe, and the plants and lighting make the atmosphere very chilled. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the items on the menu sounded really nice. So we were a little disappointed when our food arrived and it didn't quite live up to our expectations. We felt the dishes lacked flavour, and were over priced. Maybe it was because the cafe itself leads you to expect a higher quality, we just felt a bit let down by our meal. We would go again, but would order a safer choice like bacon and eggs!

Best eggs benidict that I have had in some time. Unfortunately my table was double charged for this and they insisted this was not their mistake. Staff were friendly, but not very attentive. We had to flag down a waiter to order after everyone else on our table had their orders taken. I also asked three times for a straw for my disabled wife before this was delivered to our table. Rate high for food presentation, taste and quality. Rate low for service.

The staff were lovely, and so friendly. Beautiful decor, I love the pot plants. The food was good. The dining area was nice and clean. At first I was reluctant to go in because there seemed to be no one sitting inside. Then I went with a friend and realized there was a large upstairs dining area as well. Overall awesome experience.

I went in to this new Mt Eden cafe excited as my friends had been raving about the avocado toast! Disappointed to say the least, she had showed me a photo of her meal a week before and the portion size was very different. Both priced at $16 very different sizes. Though there is an avocado shortage and prices are high I feel as though something should've been said on the menu to inform me that something was short or the price should have been lowered. The meal consisted of 2 crustini slices of bread and a slab of avocado with a poached egg, though it was nice the pricing was way out of proportion to what was given. Was not satisfied with my meal from the hype of what my friend had set it out to be

Great service from friendly and attentive staff. Clean, warm and modern environment. The menu has a good range of options including typical brunch selections such as smashed avocado, eggs on toast and musli. The cabinet contains an array of pastries, cakes, desserts and savoury options. The food is reasonably and well priced. Good presentation and very tasty. Highly recommend this spot for brunch and coffee, we will be returning.

I-Press is soon to be a favourite among many with not only its high standard of food, smoothies/juices but also their service and decor. Love the look and aesthetic of the cafe with its modern colour palette, feature prints and textures. The service is great. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and accomodating. Our waiter was clued up on the menu which made things easier when ordering. The menu has some great options and although they are all about healthier options you'll still find your classic brunch dishes. We ordered the Grilled Halloumi and vegetables and the I-Press breakfast. Both dishes were well presented and visually appealing! The I-Press breakfast is perfect for those wanting a big portion and a little taste of everything. The grilled halloumi was a lighter portion but was really tasty. There was a lot going on paired with eggplant mousse, marjoram and olive crumb but it worked. Definitely recommend this cafe for catching up with friends. It's spacious with lots of natural light and plenty of table options, making dining in so much more enjoyable. Looking forward to trying out more from their menu soon!

We always make our way to few favourite cafes in mt eden and stumble across this beaustiful cafe and taught...why not give it a try especially when it was raining heavily to walk across the street. Taking chances is worthwhile. The place is incredible and staff is more than awesome. We came in to wind down with coffee, tea n cakes till late evening. It is so relaxing. I highly recommend this place and the next time i come in with my groupie..we will try the food and promise u guys a review.! 5.0 for location. ambieance and staff. Easy! Oh. Btw we cant help it to do a vanity shot while we there haha. Amazing place not to take a group photo with your squad while you at it. 🤗🤗

The 4 of us traveled from Takapuna to Mt Eden for dessert and a drink (a lot of places say they are open til late - but most places their late is 9pm I press closes at 11pm When we walked in the assistants greeted us so warmly, and it was so cold outside. The service was fast and friendly, Katrina came and talked with us, what an asset she is, so pleasant. Come and support such a wonderful place . The tea and coffee were very good as was the sparkling water and the carrot cake .I would highly recommend IPress

$25 for 6 pieces of vegetarian ravioli left me hangry! This place is way over priced. Even for a lunch portion I would expect more than 6 mouthful of ravioli bites. Total disappointment. The sterile clean ambiance is the only thing going for this place

Went in for breakfast and ordered the fried halloumi and the smashed avocado. Both were AMAZING and had so much depth. My only issue was I wish the portions were ever so slightly bigger, but I walked away from the meal feeling relatively full so maybe the portions were okay. Also had the sweet greens and super greens juices. The waiters got our juice options mixed up (in their defence, the drinks we ordered were very similar) and gave us a drink for free to make up for it. Even without the free drink, they were very friendly! Food - 4/5 Drinks -4.5/5 Ambiance / decor -5/5 Service -5/5 Would visit again? Definitely.
