Review Ronnie's Cafe - Auckland Central

We've been here 2 times meanwhile our holidays and were really happy with food and service. My wife can't eat things made with wheat flour so we always have to look for a place that offers something for her. With Ronnie's they offered here hash browns instead of toast so she enjoyed eggs & hash browns 2 times. Plus the fresh made orange juice ! I was happy with pie and good coffee too. And the toilet is clean and spacious

I was in Auckland for 6 days and you best believe I was here everyday for breakfast. The service is amazing aswell as the selection of food and drinks. Everything is reasonably priced for what you get. I would say it’s probably the best cafe in the CBD.

Good coffee, chiabata of my toast was not as fresh, very hard to cut, but the rest of the breakfast was good and fresh! Reasonable prices too and good variety.

Quick and easy breakfast. Location close to hotel.

This cafe has been around for years and has ALWAYS been consistent. The new cafe is relaxing and the food prep and display is excellent. Coffee, pretty good and price is right!! The staff are lovely and friendly. You want a decent cake for a party, can't go past Ronnie's!!!

Self-serve cafe for breakfast, lunch and more. Variety cakes, sandwiches, pies and breads.

Ronnie's is a great place to grab something to eat downtown; they have a huge selection of fresh made sandwiches, wraps, meat pies and pastries to grab and go or you can have a sit down meal and the best part is all day breakfast. Clean, plenty of seating and friendly staff

Very good coffee called Vittoria Coffee I’ve been ill and struggling to taste but that was delicious coffee

We met up with friends at Ronnie's Cafe for coffee and breakfast. Great coffee and food. Bacon and egg muffin was very nice. Friendly, attentive staff with speedy service. Parking was easy and the cafe's location is perfect for a walk after breakfast / lunch.

Went for a breakfast, we ordered tomato, spinach, feta omelette, latte, chocolate brownie and hot chocolate. It was pretty good! The omelette was delicious, it was not watery or hard it was just right and it had thin layers somehow. It tasted so good! Chocolate brownie was very yummy as well. I'll definitely recommend this place for a relaxed good weekend breakfast :)

Been here twice now and ordered the eggs bene. Nothing to fault.
OUTSTANDING hollandaise sauce. Bacon and eggs are on point as they sit high on their muffin splits.
Service is friendly and efficient. Smoothies are delicious and coffee is strong but the good kind!
Will be making this wee hidden gem a continuous regular, for a yummy brekkie and coffee.

The coffee here is excellent. Good selection on the menu and not overly priced. The staff are very welcoming. Nice location near park and reserve.

This is Hands down the worst cafe I have ever been to in Auckland.

When we arrived there was about 4tables in the middle which had dishes all over them, we thought maybe some people had just left as we arrived. Whilst waiting for our food no one seemed to notice the tables or attempt to clear them, they didn’t move from that table for all of our stay and consisted to have flys feeding on them.

My partner waited 40mins to get his French toast which was undercooked and had burnt bacon. My meal arrived another 10mins later, by the time it arrived my partner had finished his meal and had to sit and wait for me to finish. I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon, it tasted horrible. The meal consisted of cheap English muffins, a whole lot of burnt bacon, and some cold eggs slapped on top.

The service was extremely slow and chaotic. This cafe needs more staff and better cooks. Would never go there again. I’ve just lost 50mins of my life that I will never get back..down right disappointed.

Well what a surprise, my son is a self proclaimed Eggs Bene connoisseur. So had to see this place for myself. He raves about it and now I know why. Great eggs and two perfect flat whites for which I'm a real coffee nut. Coffee was $3.80 cheapest and best coffee for miles

Amazing customer service and my kids adore their butterfly cookies and fluffies are made perfectly for kids. Even down to the right temperature for them. The eggs benedict with bacon is devine! Highly recommend to others.

We walk down to Ronnie's every Sunday. The good is very good. And i would definitely recommend coming here. Also if your coming for breakfast i would recommend the French toast.

Well done

Our regular weekend coffee spot. Along with occasional breakfasts. Coffee's great and the food always tasty. Perfect spot to launch a walk along the sandspit.

My partner and I have driven past this cafe for the last 6 years. We finally had time to stop in for lunch. Alex ordered their burger meal and i ordered the Toasted bagels with Cream cheese and jam. We shared a pot of peppermint tea. Our meals arrived after a short wait (which was spent looking out towards the wetlands area and enjoying The Coast radio station). When our meals arrived, Alex and I were shocked! For $13.50 Alex got one LARGE burger, a large serving of chips, good sized serving of tomato sauce AND a can of coke! The burger was the best Alex had ever had (thats something, coming from a die hard Burger Fuel fan), the chips were salty and crunchy which is ideal. My bagel was hot and toasted, a great amount of cream cheese and jam, all served in their own little bowls. All up, we were very impressed! The place looks a little run down, but the staff are friendly and the meals are tops. :)

I had the hashbrown stack without an egg. Somehow they even made the baked beans taste extraordinary. Such a great place for brunch.

My daughter and I stopped into Ronnies today for the first time. We have been here before though, when it was called Fix. We did our usual enjoyable walk around Tahuna Torea and as it was a warm morning we decided to see if the Iced Coffee was as good as it was previous times. It lived up to expectations. Well done.

I love having businesses like Ronnie's Cafe in local community. The team's customer service is second to none.
My family is having a big fun at this cafe and I will be back again soon.
Thanks Ronnies
