Blew my mind. Best burger I've ever had! Me and my girlfriend ate from the vegan menu and it's amazing how good it tasted. The owners were really friendly and explained how they try to combine the western burgers with the eastern tastes. Never thought peanut sauce, tree-ears and sweet chili could be so good on a burger! They even emailed me their menu! The fries taste really good too!

The selection is astounding! Though the place is small, it compensates for it with a huge variety of burgers - there are options for everyone. Had a beef burger and was completely satisfied - no chain fast food for me anymore. Staff is very friendly and considering. Five stars! Thatâs what happens when you cook with love.

Awesome vegan fast food which totally blows Lord of Fries out of the water. The owner Tony is lovely and chatty and the Kiwi Burger has to be the best burger in New Zealand, its like crack and I have to keep going back for more, I hate to think how many I've had now. The state of the shop isn't exactly classy but for a naughty burger and chips its the absolute best.

These guys knows their vegan preparation, which for me is their USP. I'm not a vegan and I love meat, but this place has got me attracted to vegetarian food like none other. Been here twice; the lovely lady managing the counter takes time to help and suggest. She's not been wrong with her suggestions on both my visits. First I tried the Veg Kiwi burger... their vegan ham blew my mind. This one is big with many other fillings. And today it was Soy Chicken burger...along with fried chicken. I kid you not, I loved the soy chicken more than the real chicken. Both these burgers seem to be their best sellers and rightly so. Soy Chicken has peanut sauce in it, I did have some reservation about the combination but I was wrong...it amped up the taste of the otherwise awesome soy chicken. Try both and whatever they suggest. Going again for sure. Keep it up guys.

the amount is reallly alot, 2 people can eat. The taste was amazing, couldn't believe its Vegan. Well made, delicious sauce. Highly recommend and a must try even if you're not vegan.
2. Lamb avocado : it tastes good but not extra special. Patty is thick so its a generous burger.

Awesome vegan options! Had the soy lovers and it was probably the best burger I've ever had!! The tofu inside was almost like egg amongst one or two of everything; hash browns, bacon, ham, beef(?).. So delicious, just like a typical takeaway shop burger and cheap too! Highly recommended!

I visit here often and have tried a variety of their vegan menu. Their vege fish nuggets with chips are a great snack that I have bought more than a few times. Their vegan burgers are probably the best out of all the vegan burgers in Auckland with such a great variety. The kiwi burger is huge and will fill you up very nicely. I just recently tried their tree-ear mushoom tofu burger and absolutely loved it. They are pretty saucy burgers but I prefer that to a dry burger anyday. Their chips are always well cooked and crispy. The service is always very friendly and casual which I appreciate a lot. One of my favourite vegan friendly takeaway places for sure.

I had the vegan burger - the first one on the menu and I thought it was delicious but maybe a bit too sweet for my taste because of the sauce.
The service was good: the staff were friendly and I didnât have to wait so long for my burger despite the amount of people who had ordered.

The vegan tower burger is massive! I recommend everyone give their vegan menu a go at least once, I don't think you'll be disappointed

Love their beef burger and chips combo. The chips are crispy, never soggy and the service is always friendly. They have a lot of business for a reason. If you want a cheap, but yummy feed, this is the place to go. Think about it, what takeaway offers free sauce on your chips nowadays.

Iâve been a relatively long time lover of The Burgerie, but have only just decided to write a review now. I love this place so much, their vegan burgers and selection in general is to die for. It brings me so much joy to see that they have such a wide variety of vegan foods available. My partner, who is not vegan, loves this place too, especially their chicken egg cheese burger. The service is always lovely, from the previous owner Tony, to the current ones May and Andy, they are always patient and so sweet - Iâve never had a bad experience here. I also find that their fries are amazing too, always so crispy but never overly greasy. I encourage anyone who has the time to go and try their menu - I particularly love the soya tower burger and the lemon tofu burger, which my partner is a huge fan of too. The only things I can critique them on is that I personally like a lot of lettuce and other greens in my burgers, so sometimes I do wish there was some more greens on the soya tower burger. I also wasnât the biggest fan of their dumplings as they tasted like they were frozen - nothing I couldnât get better at a supermarket. Regardless, I love this place and my partner and I will be back very soon.

The lady at the counter was patient and guided me through the menu. There are a handful of seats for customers and they should aim for a few more of those. The burger was good enough for a hungry stomach but there was nothing noteworthy about it.

Incredible vegetarian/vegan food, without a high price! I used to eat at Lord of the Fries but their menu is pretty basic. The Burgerie trumps them on every level! Great food, huge vegetarian selection, good prices and very quick service. They even do uber eats! Id recommend the breaded mushrooms and fake 'chicken' burger. Best food around!

So good! I love Tony and what he offers here at The Burgerie. Itâs so amazing to have so many vegan burger options and vegan extras at a traditional takeaway burger bar. The vegan burgers are amazing - Kiwi Burger and Soy Lover Burger are so incredible, filled with vegan soy meat patties, vegan bacon, tofu, hash brows and all the greasy yums of a good takeaway burger. This isnât your healthy vegan burger, itâs a traditional greasy takeaway burger. So good. Perfect for those greasy takeaway cravings.

Wanted a quick bite to eat after work today and stopped off here. Menu consists of your usual takeaway fare but was surprised to see the quite extensive vegan options availalbe. I briefly considered giving one of them a go but ended up getting American Hot Dog + Chips combo ($5), a Cheeseburger and a Hot Dog on a Stick. <br/><br/>Food was ready pretty fast, i'm lucky I got in when I did due the the early evening rush. My Hot Dog on a stick had no sauce, I was gutted about that. Doesn't seem right having a hot dog with no sauce. Chips were as expected. American Hot Dog was also a bit of a let down. The Hot Dog meat was barely warm, it was basic but for the price I can't complain. My dad really enjoyed his cheeseburger.<br/><br/>I would be keen to give the vegan options a go in the future.

I ordered the chicken box and they said it's a five minute wait. Five minutes turned to twenty minutes and they got my order wrong. Finally I've had enough and asked for my money back. I think it'll be easier for them if they had a name system in the future for each customer.

We have been meaning to try this takeaway for ages after reading some good reviews and finally decided to today. We dont normally write reviews  but I had to this time....I got the soya tower burger - it's so very disappointing. I asked for onion but there is none, I asked for avocado but all you can taste is peanut butter (from a sauce) and basically a really sweet bbq sauce, so the whole burger tastes like peanut butter and jam on toast which is not what I paid for.  One tiny, tiny slice of tomato & a small bit of shrivelled lettuce leaf (not even the crunchy lettuce in the photos online either), a soggy hash brown as well. <br/>My husband got the soya chicken burger and he really didnt like any of it. Just bits of lemon chicken you buy at blissful with a lettuce leaf with the overpowering sauce again. <br/>Maybe the people who left great reviews dont cook? as this was really bad.<br/><br/> <br/>The chips were overcooked and old tasting. This is Such a bugger but none of it was nice and its about time some place made really good vegan food aarrgghh. What a waste of time and money.

Ordered the chicken and egg burger. My partner ordered the Vege Kiwi burger. We watched them cook all of it together with the same utensils on the same pan. When we pointed it out they didn't seem to get it at first. Then when we asked for our money back, they claim they don't normally do this. Lies. They have the one pan. They'd have to deep clean between burgers to ensure it's still vegan and not covered in animal fat. Really disappointing. I got the chicken one anyway. Super dry, had one bite and binned it.

So yesterday my family and I tried out the vegan menu, we ordered kumara chips, veg bun, veg dumplings, soy pattie burger, soy chicken burger, lemon tofu burger, kiwi veg burger & soy chicken nuggets. Nuggets were yum! My first time trying Soy dumplings and it was very nice. Also because I used to love pork bun I was eager to try the vege bun and was dissapointed as the bun was hard and very chewy. The Kiwi veg burger was delishđ it was juicy, sloppy and flavoursome and if it was the only thing I ordered I most probably would've rated this place 5/5 but unfortunately for them I also ordered all the other stuff. I was really disapointed with the other burgers but mostly with the lemon tofu burger because I was looking forward to get some sort of zing on my pallete but instead the burger was very overpowered by the peanut sauce and that was the same with the other two burgers. I wouldnt rule out this place but next time I go I'll definitely get them to cut back on the peanut sauce. My husband who loves peanut butter didnt mind thoughđ. Friendly and helpful duo that were serving yesterday. Â Very lovely service.

WOW .... Ive tasted Vegan Burgers but these for me are by far the best. The place isnt flash but what it lacks in interior it makes up with food. They have a whole Vegan Menu. Not just a few dishes but a whole actual menu. The punctuation on the menu was funny but the owners such a lovely guy. Told us how he created a special burger after one of his regulars.<br/><br/>I had the Tofu Chicken burger with an extra hash brown. It was amazing and I didnt get bloated like I normally would when I eat burgers from that over priced place Lord of the Fries down the rd.<br/><br/>Thanks guys

Their fried chicken is the best in Auckland. I will literally walk halfway across town to fulfill the craving. But don't tell anyone otherwise there will be no more fried chicken for me and I'll be super unimpressed. In fact I take back what I just said. Leave the chicken alone, I want it. Also they change their oil much more frequently than their competitors, it's pretty obvious by the smell and taste that they're on top of their game there.

The place is not quite what we expected and we were a little apprehensive about ordering from here, but because of all the vegan options and the effort the owner put in to make more vegan food, we decided to try it. I had the tofu tower burger which had a hashbrown, tofu patty, 2 slices of facon plus salad and avocado. Because I asked to hold the onions he put mushrooms in instead. The burger was AMAZING. A sloppy delicious messy burger that curbed the craving. Good price too.

Great local business run by nice people. Haven't had their burgers but can say their fried chicken is A1 quality and at a price not rivalled in Auckland City. 5 bucks will get you a couple of drums, a burger, fish or chicken nuggets with chips. It sure ain't health food, but for us normal non-paleo simple folk it makes a mad treat every once and a while at an affordable price. Love these guys and will be back.

UPDATE: Have since been back to the Burgerie and yet again had a wonderfully friendly reception and incredible food. Their hygiene grade is currently pending but only because they are new owners - I can tell you now the place is spick and span and extremely clean! The new owners take huge pride in their food and customer service, so don't be fooled by the lacklustre (but old school) look of this burger joint - try the food once and I guarantee you'll be back time after time.<br/>I've been a Burgerie customer and loyal fan for the last four years, and recently met the new owners during their handover with the previous couple - last night was the first time I had popped in since they had taken over and I had the most amazing service. They were closing the shop and opened back up when they saw me so I wouldn't miss out - the new owners are incredibly friendly and we had a great chat while I waited for my tofu burger. The Burgerie doesn't look like much from outside, but they have an amazing selection of vegan and non-vegan takeaways and you're guaranteed to get service with a smile. Keep it up!

It's a cheap burger joint but the burgers are nothing spectacular. Its great value for money but even a tiny take away take upto 15 minutes. They are ok for a quick take and go.
