Review Korean Bbq Buffet - Auckland Central

Hasha Samarasekera
(Visited on 27 November 2023, reviewed on 9 December 2023) This is a great place for Korean BBQ with family and/or friends in Auckland. Despite the place being small, it was cosy and had a nice Korean feel to it. The buffet was quite widespread, and the food was out of this world. For a fixed price per person, you can serve as much as you want. I should come here again!

$35 each included EVERYTHING, BBQ, Hotpot, Drinks. Everything is clean and good quality. Service is also great! Worth it!

Price $35 including Bbq & hot pot. The restaurant is quite small, so booking in advance is highly recommended. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is no seafood here, only beef, pork and chicken. Hot pot soup was average but it is what you get for $35, soft drink included. There's toilet, clean.

Worth of the month. BBQ Meat is fresh. Cooked food is nice as well. Friendly staffs

My first time here for BBQ and Hot pot at $35 will definitely coming back highly recommendedđŸ‘đŸ»đŸ˜‹

I went this place again and surprised by the changes they made. First, they have those delicious fruit salad which is great as a dessert, second, they have a new soup called chicken noodle soup, and it was very delicious. The price was cheap as usual, and would definitely recommend if you are student or a large group !

Best Korean bbq I’ve ever tried before. Deserves 10 stars. Everything is freshly prepared and the servers are very helpful and quick to clean up any messes. Will definitely be back. Just a side note, if you’re not a big eater then ask to have no soup with your dish.
Claudia Minerva Valencia
My first time trying korean bbq, was an amazing experience because I love soups and bbq. The only issue is that all the rest fills with steam from the food. For the rest it is all good I really love it.
Russ Wilson
Korean BBQ was very average, but soup dishes were really tasty. Service was excellent such kind and friendly staff.

This place is awesome! You get excellent value for your money and won't be disappointed. The buffet style works and greatly reduces the time needed to get and cook your food. The side dishes are delicious and the soup is wonderful.

Love coming to this restaurant with the selection of raw meat and sauces to cook with side of deep fried chicken pieces.
This is one of my favourite spots but down fall I would say is some tables are very close together and have found it closed when advertised open

My family loves coming here. The staff are really nice. This korean bbq has the best meats, i have been to others but the way they marinate their meats here always brings me back. There isnt as much side dishes as other korean bbqs but the quality of the food is good. It does get quite packed but worth the wait and the price is good too.

Kind of average for akorean bbq. Not many options for the pre-made dishes compared to a lot of other korean bbq places. Service is so-so. Will have to change the foil yourself. The selection of meats to cook were decent. Would explain the slightly cheaper price point compared to other places

It was great, you know its good when everyone eats and there no talk lol, chicken was on point and theyre perfect price for there buffet, friendly staff and just chill overall, planning to go back sometime again, accomodated for 5 of us too

Having dinner with my partner and friends in Korean BBQ Buffet. Pork belly and beef ribs are my favourite meat in Korean BBQ. So I ate too much them. And the kimich is worth mentioning for me! I love kimich which is so good! This restaurant is also pricy. But my partner and I really felt so thirst after having dinner.
Jazz Dos Santos
Was quite a fun experience with a group of friends. We were able to pick and choose what we wanted to cook. The side dishes were nice, but more variety would be ideal.

Came here at 11am on a weekday and it wasn't very crowded. Loved the marinated beef they had, but there wasn't a very big variety of food there
Linda Jirayu
The food was good. Staff were very friendly but they didn't have the meat I was looking for. They offer great food. Pre cooked and uncooked. Loads of meat but. The pork was kinda tough. It's OK for luck but wouldn't recommend going for dinner
Goodnewz112
Love this place there meat is fresh well chopped and marinated , veggies are nice and clean love there deep fried chicken and the Korean decor is nice and cozy

Arrived at 7:30pm to a spacious, hardly-full restaurant - maybe because it was a Thursday. We picked a random table and promptly sat down, without any staff service (unsure of the protocol, but we did the right thing if you're wondering about that sort of thing too!).

(Before I go on any further, yes, the price was $22, not $20.)

Anyway, the meat, 2-3 soups, and several sides were lined up against a wall, which could slow a queue on busy nights.

Tip 1: a member of staff alerted us that the tongs were in this hidden dark corner near end of the sides display, so be sure to find them!

*Bear in mind this is my second Korean BBQ, so tips might already be common knowledge to some*

There was a sufficient selection of meats. I recommend the marinaded beef and the squid, while the oilier sauce was a good complement for the less-seasoned foods. The fried chicken was fresh and crunchy. I looked forward to the gizzards but they were unseasoned (made better with a good dip in some oily sauce).

(Tip 2? The strange yellow liquid in the giant bowl is oil. Use oil for BBQing. I'm sorry this is a tip but I thought it was a gigantic bowl of soup!)

Halfway through, a man came up to us and advised (Tip 3) that the meat should be laid around the deep sides of the pan, not the middle, for better cooking. He was prooobably a (senior?) member of staff, although he was casually dressed and barbecuing with a mate close by.

Overall, the staff were barely noticeable but quietly moved around ('Tongs guy' turned on our barbecue for us), there was a compact selection of meats, and the price was not too high for a buffet.

Verdict? The better-priced buffet out of the two I've been... but will need to try more Korean BBQs for an informed verdict!

Went here on a Thursday night around 6.30 which wasn’t too busy with only a few tables.

The buffet is $22 but the selection isn’t too large. Got different types of meat (chicken, spicy pork, pork belly and beef etc) but not too many side dishes. The side dishes that were there including fried rice and fried chicken which were average and didn’t look very appealing. However the glass noodles were really lovely, and the turnover for replacing food wasn’t too long.

Service was friendly and helpful and the staff did check on us here and there to make sure we were doing okay.

Another happy meal for us! Diba Laila Razik ? đŸ‘đŸŒ i can definitely recommend this to people who love pork and more pork! 😍 they have different selection of meat and korean side dishes..
Linda Wang
It was really good and staff was friendly in helping me despite I keep accidentally turning off the switch haha. Good range of meat and we ate so much haha

The food at this place is really good. The staff are super friendly and their service is amazing. Their marinated chicken and classic pork belly is crave worthy
Luieey.x0
The service was absolutely amazing, they were super friendly when I asked for some more lettuce and they refilled our water without us asking. The meat was extremely flavorful and the sides paired well with it all. The only thing is that I wish they had more variety in their side dishes. But overall, everything was super nice.
Daniel
Went here twice.

It's alright. Pretty small selection tho so gets boring and sometimes really slow refills on items.

Pretty fun place with friends tho
Sheneda Williams
Came here last month they have great customer service but then inside the soya sauce bottle a fly came out of it. Really wanted to try it out until that happened. 😑😌
Evelyn
The price is good, and food is pretty good as well, it's probably the environment that made me gave such score. If you are looking for a cheap but good Korean buffet, then I would definitely recommend this
Trish H2
First time here I came with my sisters. Price wise really good $22 pp dinner and really filling. Not much selection. Seating feels kind of too close to one another. Kind of cramped in. Rice was ok but kind of had brown over cooked bits. Not a fan of the foil though I understand why they do this. Overall it is a good place to eat if you are on a budget and wanting something hearty to fill you up...I would highly recommend this place. Twas an ok place but I have had better Korean BBQ at Manukau.
Liksya
The price was reasonable. Great choices of korean food. The ambience was wonderful.
The staff though are not very friendly, just refilling the food thats running out and thats it, didnt really give off an accommodating feel.
Phil H
Excellent value, decent variety.

This all-you-can-eat $22 per person Korean BBQ buffet was delicious and offered a very good selection of meats, both marinated and fresh (though no seafood). Side dishes include Korean kimchi, fried rice and greens, which made for decent sides to the self-cooked meats. The sauce options are also decent, with about 4-6 selections on offer for you to combine.

While low-lit and a little packed during peak times, the food itself and the social dining atmosphere are easily commendable highlights for the price. Best enjoyed with a small group of friends sharing a couple of cookers during lunch hours, when there are less people and less cooking smoke (though even at the busiest, was not that bad at all).
Jin Yun
Love the service, the owners are super kind and friendly. Great selection of meat and vegetables and always a good time over a great Korean style meal.
MoFoZed
Pretty good value for money. Food was pretty good for such a great price. Simple place. Friendly and not in-my-face staff which I prefer especially for buffet places such as this. I would not go if I was too hungry tho, I would not be able to wait for the cooking at these KBBQ things.

This is one of the best value-for-money Korean BBQ buffets I've had. I've been here a couple of times. Bookings are highly recommended as it's always jam-packed. Conveniently located in the city area, 22 bucks per pax is a really good deal. I love their marinated meat, especially the lamb and also their unmarinated sliced beef. Their fried chicken is really good too. Besides the usuals, the glass noodles is also great. It'll be good if they have fruits too but for the price that u are paying, I reckon that's not a big drawback.
Kirsten
Came here with a large group for the dinner buffet. We topped our plates up with spicy pork, beef ribs, pork belly and the marinated beef. Taking a glance at the different meats on the trays kind of surprised me. Compared to other KBBQ restaurants, their meat didn't look that fresh. There wasn't a variety of veges either. In terms of taste, everything was average. Not impressed with the food here. We were cooking the meat on the grill, where we had to replace the aluminium foil. I wish they used more "up to date" bbq grills, since using foil is bad for the meat. We also got ripped off, as they told us beforehand that it was $20 for the buffet, but on the night they said it was $22. The next morning I felt quite sick. They need to make a change in the way they handle their meat. Never coming back here again.
Michael Wells
Nice range of fresh beef, pork, chicken, and lamb for the BBQ grill. A few good pre-cooked side dishes to get you started. Not the fanciest, but clean and good value for money.
Vanz Talisa
Friendly staff. Nice food very tasteful, we did not know what to do there. But as the saying goes 'when in Rome, do as the Roman's do' and ended up quite satisfied with the food we ate. A++
I_like_pickles
Probably one of my favourite Korean BBQ restaurants. I love the selection and variety they have. It's cheap as well, especially at lunch times.

I prefer to come here at lunch time when they just open for lunch because there's less people. Dinner can get really really busy.

I like their cooked foods selection. It might not be that much but it's quality food. Their Korean pancake and noodles are my favourite.
Marggie Pascua
Only been here once with a couple of new friends. Food isn't too bad. A lot of variety. It was my first time in a Korean BBQ place where you have to cook your food. It was a great experience.
Kelly
Korean BBQ buffet!
For $20 per person it's great value for money! Great selection of various meats and cooked and side dishes.

I enjoyed my buffet meal here but I'm a lover of flavour and I wish the marinated meats had more flavour personally but still edible and delicious.

I can see how this place gets so busy! Staff are friendly, and attentive we sort of struggled with getting the grill hot enough and one of the waiters came over and sorted us out.

Recommend and I know where to go if I'm craving some Korean buffet in the CBD.
Taryn Kitchen
This is my favourite spot when I'm super hungry. $20 buffet is unbeatable. Good selection of meats, the marinade chicken and lamb are my faves. If you like a bit of spice the spicy pork and squid are yum too. There isn't a huge selection of vegetables but we come for the meat anyway. You can get fried rice and chicken etc too - good while you're waiting for your food to cook. It's awesome to be able to cook it the way you like and a great way to catch up with friends. Restaurant itself is nothing fancy but it's clean and a bonus it's BYO!!
Akkarpark Iam-Opas
Last couple years ago when I was living on upper queen street. I went there like once a week. I like their food. It is one of the best in that area. But the downside was One of the staff (The young man korean who where wear the glasses, must be a permanent waiter there) was not actually friendly. He tried to talk to me nicely at couple first times , it was like he wanted to get some benefits from me(sort of looking for a job for his friend) but I could not help him. Later on he turned not to be a good waiter as before. Sometimes , there were so many available table but he just said NO and he just not let me in. After that time, I did not come back there anymore.

I understand that one person coming to eat buffet might not worth for that restaurant coz it can get more customer for one table but I have been so many BBQ buffets, they never say no to me.
Sofia
An awesome dining and all you can eat Korean buffet bbq experience! Being a korean foodie, I was generally happily overall when we dined in last week to a variety of different dishes, meats and side dishes to choose from. It was very well worth the $20. Everything was fresh and was authentic Korean style! However, I must note - my friends and I were not as attentive on the grill as others who ate there that night and so we ended up burning our skillet and meats along with it too and was not assisted in any way in changing it apart from turning it back on again. I would recommend however, the workers trying to communicate more with their customers in ensuring everything is going okay as there was a little kid running around turning the grills on which was not okay. Otherwise, my experience here was quite the delight. Will definitely return here again...

Really good value for money. An all you can eat authentic Korean barbecue in the heart of Auckland city.

$20 per head is a decent price for what you get. So many options to throw on your hot plate... and you leave feeling satisfied and having to loosen off the belt a couple of notches. The ambience is basic but pleasing with the simplicity.

So popular that I was witnessing groups of people get turned away!! So if it is a Friday or Saturday night get there early to ensure you get a table!!

If you really crave meat, korean bbq, this is your final destination in CBD. Their food is hygienic and mostly fresh and their meat range is reasonable for the price, In my opinion its better than the one on the other side. (if you know what i mean) Go with a small group for this bbq buffet. The experience was pleasant.
Heidi Chapman
Excellent restaurant. Pretty good value at $20 per person considering that it's all you can eat. The food was good quality with a variety of meats and vegetarian foods. The staff are friendly and will help you if you need them but they're relatively chilled and will let you do your own thing, so they're not in your face. You have to replace the foil occasionally yourself so it's a pretty independent place
Joanna Marie Francisco
I really love korean bbq. Went here for the first time yesterday because our usual Korean bbq resto closed already. I did not regret spending my $20 and indulging myself with unlimited meat. Every dish they offer is replenished from time to time and never ran out. And their meats are marinated and doesn't taste bland when you grill it. I will definitely come back!!
Jamez Hill III
For $20 dollar all you can eat Korean bbq this is definitely the place. The spicy pork is delicious and they have all the necessary sides for a really good Korean fix. For the price I paid there really isn't any issues I have with this place. If you know how to eat Korean bbq with all the sides then it's a really enjoyable experience.
Rojas
Quiet average as far as buffets go. A selection of meat and side dishes but nothing to write home about. This place is great if you're hungry and want an all you can eat cheaply, I does pack out quiet quickly so pays to get in before 630pm.
Melissa May Tauch
I love this place! If I was in town and wanted my stomach full to my desire I'll come to this place. I love Korean BBQ so this is like heaven to me.
I know that there are other ones around Auckland but if you're in the CBD this would be the best one. It's always full of different meats to BBQ but the side dishes tend to be cold sometimes depending what time you go. Service is decent, it's not too difficult to ask for help from them. The atmosphere is quite bustling but it reminds me of a homey feel (I don't know why). Overall a good place to fill up, but make sure you cook the chicken thoroughly!
Ryan
Your standard Korean bbq, it's good value and one of the better ones in the CBD but watch your clothes and hair - you'll smell like Korean Bbq all night! Didn't find the range of dishes anything out of the ordinary.
Betty Diao
went on a weekday night but the place was full by 7, better to go early if you want a table. the tables were spaced too close together so it was hard to ignore the conversation from the next table. there werent alot of choices for cooked food as more than half of the trays were empty throughout our dine, the meat was tasty with a couple of varieties. the cashier could only speak simple english words so came through as quite rude when informing us that our card didnt go through. bad end to the evening when the cashier was shouting NO PAY NO PAY across the whole restaurant. wouldnt return
Andy Leung
Great food and is our favorite Korean BBQ place, sad to see they have stopped serving lunch Mon to Thu though.

Please consider opening for lunch 1 or 2 more weekdays!
Talei Kidd
I'm a fan of Korean BBQ , I really enjoyed the variety in Veges and meat/squid they had to offer, The price per head was very cheap for all you can eat đŸ‘ŒđŸœ only downer for me was having to wait for some of the meat to be refilled...
Tony Kato
I'm not a fan of Korean food but this place was alright. We usually come here once a month because my girlfriend loves the kimchi here. The chicken wings arent great though. I like the meat options and the lettuce is always fresh. Good place for a $20 all you can eat. Hate how I always reek of BBQ though lol
Seamus M.
This was the first Korean BBQ I have experienced. The BBQ food was nice a few varieties. The buffet food were rather cold, you'll have to be there when they have been brought out.
It's a good place to go if you want something cheap. It's worth going to try out.
Peanut
So one night my friend and I decided to have our korean bbq here and we are most likely not to return. The food was average and service was poor. We were only halfway through our food when one of the male staff asked if we could leave as more customers were coming in. The tables are arranged in a way where it's hard to get around and it doesn't have good ventilation which means you will reek of bbq (the other places I've been were spacious thus my clothes didn't smell too bad). Would not recommend this place unless you're dying of hunger.
Yusoff Kamal
I have been to this place more than a couple of times and love the food!!
This place is great to cater a group of 20 people. (YOU do need to book in advance, as they always busy and trust me you need to be exact as they might not have enough table or chair to accommodate extras)
Overall, the experience is great. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Always smiling no matter how busy they are.
All you can eat option is great with plenty of meat.
Lack of vegetables option but hey...it is a BBQ buffet!
A must go!
Vicky
If you are expecting a fancy Korean restaurant that has a large variety of choices then this is probably not for you. This place is a simple and humble restaurant that offers a rather pleasant buffet for a great price, and the great service pretty much solidifies its position as one of my favorite places to eat within the city. I would recommend this place to those who would like to try Korean BBQ for the first time, as you aren't required to go through the hassle of picking things off the menu when they are all there for you and for one set price. The seafood and vegetable options are lacking, but if you're happy with just the beef, lamb, chicken or pork belly (I sure was) then you'll be fine.
L ?
Nothing quite like a good unlimited korean bbq! There's quite a few selections of meats which was good, but when eating at a Korean restaurant You'd expect a lot of spicy food and there wasn't much of spicy-marinated meats to choose from which was disappointing. With the service, the staff didn't look like he wanted to be there, but it's understandable as it was a public holiday when we came. Nevertheless the food was enjoyable and very filling.
FOODFANATICJIMMY
A lot of people ask me for recommendations on korean food. My golden rule is, try to stay away from korean 'meat' buffets if you want quality. Korean meat buffets most often use frozen meats and lack the true authentic flavours of korea. Although much more expensive, Korean BBQ specialists that charge per serving uses fresh meats and ingredients with authentic korean seasoning. However, I must admit that I have visited here a few time while I was a Uni student since it got me FULL. If you want quantity... this is the place for you. But being overcrowded, filled with smokey air and leaving your clothes the next day with a nasty charcoal smell can be quite unpleasant.
Jean Lee
Came here a few days ago with a group of 9. They had seats for a Saturday night however seats filled up fast. Not sure if the meats were fresh but the lettuce and other vegetables seems fresh. The other korean food was good. However there was no rice left by 9pm and they ran out of lamb as well. Nevertheless it was a good kick of kbbq.

This place is amazing. The sweet chilli sauce is great and the meat is to die for. You cook your own meat at whatever temperature you want and have no restrictions.

--- Pros ---
Meat tastes amazing (esp. the spicy pork)
Service is good
Seating is good
FRIED CHICKEN
KIMCHI
EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT
Music is decent
The rice is amazing.
cheap asf

--- Cons ---
No service if you want to get water ( you go fill your own cup ) P.S. Laziness
Usually very packed/ need to reserve before coming
Overpriced drinks ($5 for a ginger beer ...)

Love this place. The food was good and the service is also great for a busy place.
Sure, they don't smile but hey, they get the job done fast.
They helped arrange my preferred table and change my burner quickly.

Awesome place to eat for casual dining with mates.
The sauce used to marinate the meat is great. Can't get a better tasting Korean BBQ anywhere else, worth $20 per person for a buffet.

The fritters were also awesome.

Note : Not a place for prissy people who care about their clothes and hair smelling like charcoal.
Brave Eat
The restaurant looks dirty and greasy. Their meat looks cheap and taste bad. Staffs are unfriendly. I dont recommend this place to anybody please go to other korean bbq.
Jess
Everything was good worth what you pay downside is just it was way too hot had to keep stepping out to get fresh air! Over all amazing :) yum food!
Madicattt
We headed here for a casual byo dinner with friends.

The range of meats on offer were plentiful, but we found it to be quite lacking in vegetables options.

From looking at other reviews on Zomato it looked like there is usually a lot more on offer in way of cooked items but on the night we went the silver trays were largely empty.

For an all you can eat meat feast it was a fun and fairly cheap experience.

As it was a BBQ I imagine diners experiences must vary wildly. As we were unfamiliar with the cooking surfaces we were a bit underwhelmed by our own creations. We would have benefitted from a more helpful waiter, however ours was new and didn't know how to cook on the bbq's either.

My question at the end of this meal (as it often is at BBQ style restaurants) was is going out and cooking your own meal fun or totally ridiculous? In this case I think it was more the latter.
LucyGoosey
If you want to go to a good Korean BBQ in Auckland then this is not the place to go. The service here is appalling. The staff are rude and are not helpful at all. We asked for a table away from the door as there was a draft. We were forced to sit by the door as they seat patrons in lines of tables by the order they arrive in. The food here is actually quite good. The marinated chicken and beef are pretty tasty. The price is fair, $20 per person, much like other Korean BBQ places in the CBD. The décor here is not great, sort of feels like a school hall with tables in it. If you want to go to a really good Korean BBQ then go to Paradise Garden on Hobson Street. As well as having better food, the staff there are friendly. Their BBQ's are also built into the table which makes it easier to cook the food. At Korean BBQ Buffet, the BBQ are just sitting on top of the table and oil spits out onto your hands when you are trying to cook the food. I won't be going to Korean BBQ Buffet ever again. If you want to feel like you are dinning in a school cafeteria in Korea, I imagine this place would give you a similar experience.

We came to Korean BBQ Buffet on Saturday for a casual dinner with friends. We all went for their $20 buffet. They offer BYO wine here and sell a small range of beer. I recommend Hite (a Korean beer).

With one vegetarian in our group, we asked if our waiter could point out the vegetarian dishes which he did graciously. While there are vegetarian dishes here, I wouldn’t recommend this place for vegetarians. There are better vegetarian options in the city. Our waiter then explained how the buffet worked and we were left our own devices.

All the dishes are clearly labeled in English and to ensure freshness, they don’t keep too much food out at once. The food is replenished regularly. There is a good selection of marinaded and non-marinaded meats. There was beef short rib, pork belly, spicy kim chi pork, chicken, spicy squid and others. There was one I don't remember seeing a label for and in hindsight, I think it was chicken gizzards. So if you're not fond of gizzards, then maybe avoid that one. My favourites were the beef short rib, pork belly and spicy kim chi pork. The seaweed salad and the vermicelli noodle dish were also delicious. We enjoyed the pre-cooked fried chicken wings, though it would be better if these were served hot. The other pre-cooked dishes are average and served at about room temperature. It would be better if these were all served hot (room temperature steamed mussels anyone?).

As with any buffet, you can eat as much as you like and then some. The best technique for Korean BBQ Buffet is to get a selection of raw meats for the table (not per person) and cook these as a group. Go back for seconds on your favourite raw meats. Each person is then responsible for their own pre-cooked food to eat while the meat is cooking.

For $20 per person this place is good value, especially if you love BBQ meat. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and selection of meat for the price although this is not fine dining.

On the night we visited there were several groups, both Korean and non-Korean and a hens party. Extra points for the fun, upbeat music. Nothing quite like bopping to Feliz Navidad while chowing down on lots of meat.

I rated Korean BBQ Buffet quite high because they are good for what they are trying to do: Budget Korean buffet BBQ. There are better Korean BBQ places but they are more expensive. Korean BBQ Buffet is great value for what you get and I was pleasantly surprised.

Great central location, although parking can be tricky in this area. Great for groups, meat eaters and those on a budget. Tasty, tasty meat. I will be back.

I really really like this place. It makes me so happy. $18 for lunch and $20 for dinner and unlimited food?? I am in. I am so in! There was a time where I came here three times in one week. Oops! It is my favourite food place in the city, because even though it is cheap for the value, I am a poor student and can't afford it, but I love eating here. I really am not a fan of fancy restaurants and korean BBQ buffet is exactly what I like.

I sat here for two hours and just stuffed myself with meat in lettuce wraps. Don't turn the gas up too high or it'll burn your meat and you will keep having to replace your foil. Also, don't be tempted to grill a lot of beef- beef is actually really tough and hard to eat.

Love how there is a lot of food- when I was there they had all their foods out in bainmaries and replenished often. Also love the sweet corn soup there! And you can just keep eating and eating and eating! Just like if you were if you are at home, except this is better! This is korean BBQ!

I am obsessed with this place, and somehow they've made it so clean that I always use chopsticks to handle raw meat (by accident of course) and I have never gotten food poisoning or anything, and this can include handling raw chicken and pork. Maybe the high temperatures kill it on my chopsticks or I have a really strong stomach? I don't know haha.

Also if you don't know how to use chopsticks, that is a very big shame. I saw a couple using a knife and fork to turn meat over on their grill. That was sort of sad. Maybe just use a fork if you don't know how to use chopsticks.

Mad love for this place, although there is a korean BBQ place just opposite it that I would assume would be very similar to this one.

Great stuff. Been coming here for years

The chicken wings are a good bonus. It's simple nothing too fancy.

Other than that it's actually quite good, however no ventilation inside, so can get quite hot during summer.

Service: 3/5
Wait time: 4/5
Environment: 4/5
Food Quality: 4/5
Food Quantity: 5/5
Price range: $30+ pp
YellowBlankets
It's a decent Korean BBQ place with selections of frozen and marinated meat. Unlike some other places I've never had stomach pain the day after (possibly from not-fresh meat). I like how they keep on restocking the meat on the buffet platter instead of dumping a huge amount in a non refrigerated space instead. They have decent choices of sides too like kimchi, steam mussels, japchae etc on a bain marie--my friends liked it but I don't eat them as I feel like they've been on there the whole day! They also serves different types of soups, and bottomless orange juice to quench your thirst. All of this for $19 dinner is reasonable I think!

I just don't like the fact that the stove dies often (mine died twice on one dinner occasion, they had to replace gas) and that the seating are so close to each table. If you're unlucky enough, you will be seated next to people who eat with their mouth open! (or talks so loudly!).

TIP: Don't wash your hair before eating here. You will want to wash it when you finish, as they will smell like meat and smoke!

Make sure you don't wear fancy dress and it gonna smell . Haha but all the food was FOODELICIOUS. Highly recommended.

Many of my friends like this place not only because of their different various of food but also the flavour and quality of the meat. The pork there tasted better than other BBQ places. The other dishes including the vegetables and desserts were also quite nice. The most important is that there is not much smoke coming out when you fry the meat there.
If you are a meat lover, here is definitely the right place for you to go and try. Easy to park there, too.
