This is such a Gem! If you want authentic Malaysian cuisine and friendly service, this is the place to come! The Uncle and Aunty are sooo cute as well! We ordered here before and the food is always consistently delicious! Highly recommended! 😁💪❤️

DELICIOUS food, takes me back home to malaysia for sure. Owners are so lovely and welcoming . Very authentic. Also best pork jerky in NZ. My go to place from now on. Can’t fault this place.

Awesome lil restaurant in Ellerslie. Food was delicious. Sort of home style Malaysian food. Nothing fancy but cooked really well. The chicken curry yum, fried kway teow yum, rojak yum. Such good value for money. Very generous sized portions and cheap too.
The staff were very friendly and service was very fast considering it was reasonably busy.
Cant wait to return to try more off the menu.

Visited for lunch tried the mee goreng spicy. Very nice dish. Service was very fast probably around 5 minutes. Also tried the laksa which is so massive for a medium. That is probably on my list for next time

Generous portions, and really good flavours. We ordered the curry laksa and the Nyonya chicken. Only downside is the average service, but I can look past that. Malaysian approved!

Budget friendly quality food. I would recommend the Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng. The place is just small but clean and staff are very friendly.

Great for a cheap and cheerful lunch. Basic decor, but quick and friendly service. Good food portions. Would recommend the Beef with Ginger!!!

Very cheap and generous portion of food. Yummy delicious! The restaurant looks a bit old from outside but clean inside. Slow serving speed - not recommend to go if you only have 30 minutes to have your meal. Overall, satisfied.

Food is great here whenever I takeaway. Good servings and nice flavour for what u pay. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because they often do not answer their calls when I want to make an order.

We came here for dinner as we missed Singapore food so much (I lived in SG for 8 years).. We ordered mee goreng, nasi goreng and mee rebus.. All taste good though not authentic but good.. Mee rebus was in tomato based, not the original spicy curry-like gravy but so far okay.. The auntie (duty manager) is nice and accommodating, place is clean and they cooked the food quick.. It comes with chinese tea too. We will come back again soon!

Ever since I started working around Mt Wgtn / Penrose, this place has always been my goto place for my comfort childhood foods. Favourite dishes are the Kway tiao and Chicken Laksa. This place is the only place I know of that does decent authentic Dried Pork like we used to have back in Malaysia.

I love their tea and food! Reminds me my childhood in Malaysia. My favourite Wahtanhor and fried quayteau are the must! Fried rice is good too! Thanks for the nice food and tea.
