Tried the lunch menu. Food is just awesome in this place. Everything we tried from Wagyu mince with Toast to the Lemon cheese cake to the peppermint hot chocolate .....outstanding. The owner, Mr.Amitesh, is such a caring host. Will be here every weekend.

Just Like Martha is an absolute treasure trove for coffee enthusiasts and foodies alike. As soon as you step into this charming coffee shop, you're greeted with an ambiance that oozes warmth and coziness, making you feel right at home. Inspired by the legendary Martha Stewart's kitchen, this place takes its culinary inspiration to a whole new level, and the result is an extraordinary dining experience that is second to none. The star of the show is undoubtedly their exceptional coffee. From the first sip to the last, you can taste the care and passion that goes into every cup. The baristas here are true artisans, skillfully crafting each coffee to perfection, whether it's a rich, velvety latte, a smooth and balanced cappuccino, or a robust and aromatic espresso. It's evident that they take immense pride in their coffee, and it shines through in every delightful sip. Now, let's talk about the food – a true gastronomic delight. The menu, inspired by the culinary genius of Martha Stewart, features an array of delectable dishes that will leave you utterly satisfied. One standout dish that stole my heart was their mouthwatering lamb shoulder. The flavors were a symphony of taste, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to tender perfection. Each bite was an explosion of delightful sensations, leaving me craving for more. Beyond the culinary delights, the attention to detail in both the decor and the food presentation is praiseworthy. The interior is thoughtfully designed with rustic accents, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that beckons you to stay a while longer. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to work, a spot to catch up with friends, or a moment of tranquility to savor your coffee, Just Like Martha has it all.

Absolutely delicious food, we went for brunch on a Sunday, not too just but lively enough, owner served us and was absolutely lovely! Good to chat to and have excellent service! Highly recommend this place

Thank you Martha for the gorgeous meal last night. The black forest cocktail was divine! The fish of the day and sirloin were winners. They were beautifully plated, with well balanced flavours and great portion sizes. I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu.

I had a great experience. Food was delicious. Good portion size. Loved the way they presented the food. Amazing and cheerful staff. A good variety of options on the menu. Very happy with the customer service.

Such a great spot. Soon to become a staple. Exciting menu without losing the classics. French toast was 🔥 Just needs a baby change table and it’d be the perfect café. Definitely coming back.

This place is amazing! The food was phenomenal. I had the fried chicken with the crispy fries. It was Devin! I enjoyed every bit of it. I had the matcha latte first time to try it out, I was not disappointed was so delicious. The café itself is beautiful, very comfy, I highly recommend. I will be coming for more with family and friends. Excellent customer service. They were all friendly. I truly felt welcomed.

Service and food quality always consistent and good, toddler and dog friendly place. Well priced for the area. Their new brunch menu was very good, both husband and I enjoy the corn fritters and the lamb dish- it was delicious!

Went in for some brunch, the big breakfast was great, though personally it would be great to have some replacement options for bacon as not everyone eats them. Seeing the chicken sausage option was great as most places only offer pork sausages. The scone though a great portion was on the dry side and we only ended up eating half. Coffees were great, service was great as well. Definitely coming back to try more things off the menu and their cabinet options.

Just Like Martha is my favourite local spot for lunch, coffee and sweets. I often take home slices after lunch to enjoy for dessert that night. It’s hard to not eat the raspberry cheesecake crumble in one go! Everything in the cabinet is made in house by their fantastic baker and chefs so I feel less guilty about my sweet treats.

One of our locals but everyone is usually greeted enthusiastically! Coffee is good. Slightly stronger and a tinge bitter, if you like that style. Good food. Some meals can be a little carb heavy with the brioche etc but choose accordingly. 👍🏼

Great food, great service. Generous size meals. Great kids meal.

What a cool little find.Really impressed with the quality and presentation of our meals, and the welcoming friendly staff.

Had the lamb shoulder which was very flavourful, served with pickled onion and beets. The mince on toast also delicious, both dishes were a generous serve.

I love the look of the cabinet food. Like the saying I eat with my eyes first. The cooked food always served beautifully , great coffee , just a bit difficult to find parking around here. Great service

Really nice atmosphere and delicious food! Will be going back for dinner and brunch 😊

Can't believe I haven't been here before! A great brunch spot with excellent food. All of the dishes we ordered (creamy mushrooms, both fire benedicts, and wagyu mince on toast) were very tasty, and the portion sizes were solid. Very Instagram worthy plating. Prices are fairly reasonable for this quality of food. Will definitely come back in the future to try some of the cabinet goodies!

Absolutely amazing! Such a hidden gem in Three Kings. Have always come here for brunch, but they now do dinner service too. Honestly, the best food I've had in Auckland so far. Casual fine dining at its best. The ceviche was to die for, and the lamb was deliciously tender and had so much flavour. Will definitely be back!!

We visited Just like Martha the other day and oh my goodness, it felt like I ate ART! 🤩 This café exceeded my expectations! We ordered the ‘Creamy mushrooms’ 🍄 which came with a sourdough rosemary crumb, bread 🥖, black garlic, truffle oil and scrambled eggs 🍳 this was super creamy and perfect for a cold day ❄️! We also ordered the ‘French toast’ which was topped with a delicious panna cotta, poached pear 🍐, a berry compote, freeze dried fruit 🍊🍋, meringue, strawberries 🍓 and cream 😍! It was fresh, zesty and probably one of the best French toast dishes I’ve eaten (and so pretty too!). I can’t wait to come back! 🥰

This cute cafe is amazing, felt welcomed and didn't have to wait for a table. The food was delicious I got the mince on toast and it looked to pretty to eat. Also tried the salted caramel brownie and my God it was fantastic. Hot choccy was on point too. Do check out their baked goods as well. Only thing is I thought the table we were sitting at was really close to the other's I felt like people were listening to our conversations. 😅 other then that it was great 👍

The food was great but the service not so much. They don’t take bookings unless it’s a “large” group, as a table of 5 we were worried about this but arrived at 1pm on Sunday to get one of the few remaining tables. (If you’re a group under 4 you’ll have no trouble.) We had to wave the waiter down to get a drink and were left to get our own bottle of water. The glasses were dirty and had to be swapped.
I enjoyed the salmon eggs benedict with an extra side of mushroom. It’s a good menu but I hope they work on their service and become more than just an Instagram spot.

Dessert on a plate for breakie. How good! My dish had mocha panna cotta, raspberry poached pear and meringue on donut bread. This dish looked amazing on the gram and tasted as amazing as it looked! My boyfriend had the Big Breakfast which was so delicious - my favourite was the rosti and cheese bread.

Cafe food. Looks as beautiful as it tasted. Hard to find parking.

Just Like Martha, the still relatively newly-opened cafe, was a more than welcome addition to an area which hasn’t previously had many eatery options at this standard. The new kids on the block didn’t hold back when it comes to first impressions; think graphic wallpaper, black marble benchtops adorned with a hot pink coffee machine and crystal pendant lights. Add to this the stunning cabinet food which offers a range of sweet and savoury options, all beautifully presented and drool-invoking and we were pumped! This beautiful space is also deceptively spacious. The menu itself was so inviting that we quickly committed to coming back again... before we’d even ordered. Each of the visually delightful dishes were a plate-sized artwork - cleverly layered, packed with colour, texture and flavour and finished with imaginative flourishes and garnishes. We’ve heard that it can be difficult on the weekends to get a seat, so we’d suggest going before or after peak hours to ensure you can sit and enjoy an experience which Martha Stewart would be proud of!

Check out our individual reviews here: husk.co.nz/lunches/just-like-martha-nov-2019

The food was amazing and extremely fresh! Love that they cater to lots of different dietary requirements and have a good range of options. The staff were friendly, however, even though multiple were visibly free no one came to take our order for quite some time and we had to try and wave someone over. This, however, would not stop me from coming back!

📍 Just Like Martha
☕ Iced Matcha Latte + Latte
🍴 Pistaccio Cheesecake
-----------------------------------------------
On the ground floor of Obsidian Apartment in suburban Three Kings, is a Martha Stewart inspired cafe; Just Like Martha, a space that is stylishly curated. Gleeming white floor, black marble counter, graphic wallpaper with leafy warmth, and a welcoming cabinet filled with Kiwi baking. A place for both foodies and coffeeholics.

It is a popular cafe on instagram. There is few options on the menu. I ordered a big breakfast. The taste is average. But it is not worth for me to drive from henderson to here

Id read a review when they opened that their chicken burger was to die for. I have been wanting that burger ever since. Today I finally gave in to it and I wish I hadnt. It was awful. It looks impressive and you would think the double milk battered chicken burger would be full of crunch, alas its full of sogginess and the chow chow relish is just bitter. It was really just horrible. In addition its served in a bowl not on a plate which makes it really hard to cut because its too high to squish together and eat like a burger. The coleslaw should really be served on the side. So disappointed, wont be going back, dont get what all the hype is about this place.

Went in for a casual coffee & snack. First impressions - all the counter food was sugar-loaded, huge servings, since when has Rocky Road been a snack to have with coffee, some concoction of a bright pink colour with marshmallows on top, the ginger crunch had a huge layer of icing same size as the base. And don't get me started on what on earth was Yorkshire Pudding doing in the big breakfast???? A very confused menu at times and French Toast on a choc brioche with pannacotta, just pour cups of sugar over it. Hugely disappointing in this day and age for a new cafe, can someone please get away from French Toast, The Big Breakfast, at least the Benedicts had a few different ingredients. Service OK, coffee very average and only warm. Neither of us will be back.

Great food and quick service considering how busy they are.

Loving the chicken burger, mince on toast and French toast.

The carrots are tasty but need a bit longer in the pot please.

It’s not cheap, but definitely worth what you pay. We will be back.
Loved the decor, the food was beautifully presented and came in timely fashion. Was tasty with menu food ranging from $12-$25 or so. Came on a weekday with my mum, place filled quickly with lots of young mums. Street parking. Keen to try the lamingtons, scones and treats on display.
Jessica
Nice friendly staff. Very busy on Sat morning. Food present good, but unfortunately the taste are just average. Some of the bits in the big breakfast is very salty.

I've been out of the brunching scene for a while working on a new challenge in life, motherhood. I'm sorry I don't have the exact names and description of the dishes, and my bad...really forgot to take note of the menu. However, the table didn't regret a single thing we ordered, except maybe the chai latte and coffee. Walked in on a Wednesday for brunch and the place was packed! Obviously because their customer service was so welcoming and they were quick to provide a baby chair as soon as they saw one in my hand. The food was served really fast and each one looked like a painting. My creamy mushrooms was a medley of mushrooms with a beautiful brioche that soaked up the juiciness from the mushrooms. Large portion and super feeling but no one ever complains about that. My favourite and dish of the day was their dark chocolate brioche with strawberries, meringue, panna cotta and whatever else they had going on, on the plate. It all worked! It's worth a visit and a great addition to the cafe scene in Auckland. Pay a visit!

What a gorgeous little cafe- the baking in the cabinet looked amazing at a really reasonable price.
Coffee was great I have a long black with pouring cream and Mr Lid has an espresso- being Supreme beans I know they are notoriously hard to get just right (not too burnt, bitter) Master three loved his hot chocolate which was the perfect temperature.
I went with the green chilli scramble with chorizo and feta- was a great dish, Mr Lid had the Big breakfast which was ok- the combination of Yorkshire puddings gravy, black pudding, mushrooms, eggs and bacon I kinda understand but add in Indian spiced potato balls, pork sausage heavy on the fennel and broccolini it all got a bit much. Master three’s bacon and scrambled eggs was a classic.
The menu is small with a lot of great sounding choices we will definitely be back to sample more!
This is the NEW local cafe in our area....parking is pretty good. But you may have a 1min walk sometimes.

Excellent service and very nice meals - beef cheeks can be a LITTLE salty. Favourite dish is the Creamy mushrooms. Close second might be the double buttermilk fried chicken burger 🙄🤭😏
Coffee pretty consistent - could be a little hotter. 👍🏼

Overall, really nice to have another option where the menu changes and there’s a broad variety of cabinet food too. Well done.

I've been here a few times now and am super stoked to have a great new local. Food is super delicious (both the brunch we've had and the delicious cakes and slices from the cabinet), coffee is delicious and they manage to nail both dining in and takeaway options. Service has always been speedy, even when they're busy (which they frequently are!), and the staff are really friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Ive just moved to the area so am on the hunt for my new go to cafe. Ive tried this place twice now, brunch and for cake.
The coffee is average at best. Bitter and arrived warm. For me this is a real let down. Not sure if its the choice of beans or the barista but seriously not good enough.
On a positive note the selection (and price) of the baked treats is amazing. Not only do they look great but are tasty as well.
The place itself is in a handy location. Its beautifully styled but very noisy. Staff were friendly and service was quick.
Delicious green chilli scrambled eggs. Good range of teas - the chamomile and lime blossom was delish. It gets packed and very loud and pays to bring some layers in case you get seated in the courtyard.
Hungry Hippo
Amazing!! Tried the creamy mushrooms from here and they were delicious! Large portions which was great value for money. Has plenty of seating with both indoor and outdoor options available. Really loved the pink decor! Staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. Will definitely be back.

Nice decor. Plenty of staff and all were pleasant. The tables for two seem to be in inconvenient places like by the front door, under the coffee machine etc It was quiet when we are so we asked to use one of the many free tables for 4 . Coffee was ok . Tea is loose tea in pots and was good. Food was beautifully presented, arrived quickly . The portions are huge so like some other people there you might want to consider sharing. I have a good appetite but couldn’t finish the vegan breakfast. Condiments and sugar in pots on the table rather than packages which is good. The counter display of mostly large sweet things is a little like a promotion for diabetes. Smaller healthier options would be more appealing. No newspapers or customer wifi. Toilets are a bit devoid of decor and have strange fiddly locks on the door.......wasn’t sure it was locked. But the place is freezing cold.........we couldn’t believe how much warmer it was outside when we left.
Emily
The manager was quite rude which was disappointing. Food was good, coffee was crap. The venue is super loud and it’s difficult to have a conversation at your table. Wouldn’t return anytime soon.
Danielle Bea
The food was fantastic and even though they were super busy the service was top notch, and the front of house staff was great at managing the rush! Can’t wait to go back!

We came here on Monday (queen's birthday) and were seated super quick and served very efficiently. French Toast is delicious! So is the mince on toast and the Smoked Salmon. We got an iced choc which was delicious and not too overly sweet and got a Latte which was very tasty. Will definitely be back soon!

Great atmosphere, very busy on weekend & staff friendly. The best French toast we’ve had, great chilli scrambled eggs, mince was only okay, eggs bene had nice bacon & served with a huge doorstop of bread that did nothing for the dish.

BUT needs improvement in areas. Coffee average & lukewarm. When asked for hot cappuccino the milk on top ended up an oily slick & the coffee was still not hot. Other cafes get this right so would expect the owners of 6? cafes would have this sorted.

Cakes from cabinet were delicious, especially the huge lamington & custard slice, BUT when ordering takeaway the system is awful. You order & pay at cashier then stand around waiting as they put in a ‘chit’ for another server to put cakes in a bag. Cashier had no other people to attend to but wouldn’t complete order. Problem is your order is in with all the seated cafe coffee/cake orders.
Waited 8 mins before finally being asked by a very nice passing wait person if I was waiting for something - he finished the order for me.

Cute little cafe just a walking distance from my place . Had coffee couple of times . Good to have a nice place to get coffee in the morning before work . Friendly staff . Had brunch on Saturday morning before heading out of Auckland. Enjoyed the creamy mushrooms and my husband had the chicken burger which was huge . Enjoyed our first meal here and looking forward to try more things from the menu .

Busy place but we were seated within minutes. Really friendly staff and the best French toast I have ever had! With banana donuts even! Definitely recommend.

Awesome vibe in this place! The till/cabinet area is constantly crowded cause if you’re not paying for your amazing meal you’re drooling over the amazing-looking sweet treats.
I had the creamy mushrooms and it was absolutely delightful. Excited to come back at a later time of day when one feels more enticed by a gigantic fried chicken burger 😁

This newly opened place served some really good food with great friendly service. The experience was worth every single penny. Highly recommended to all.
Lovely Munchies
Came in on the weekend and had a great time! The place was busy and buzzing with activity but the staff was fast and attentive. We were greeted and seated within minutes in the heated outdoor area and had our coffee fix while we browsed the menu.

I was recommended the chilli green eggs, while my partner had the creamy mushrooms. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meals - they were tasty and well portioned and beautifully presented (a bonus).

After our meal today Just Like Martha has definitely made it on our list of weekend brunch spots!

Came in this Saturday with my family and absolutely loved it! We ordered the Mince on Toast, French Toast and Beef Cheek Bene (as well as the kids toastie). So awesome that they have an adorable kids menu and had such a unique menu. Food was delicious, really good flavours. The Mince on Toast was such a great twist on a classic meal, the French Toast was just art! And the Beef Cheek Bene was super tasty and cooked perfectly! Service was great, we were seated quick and got served efficiently. We got the matcha latte and a Turmeric Latte, both were delish (didn't know I liked turmeric in a drink 'til I tasted this). They obviously didn't know that it was going to be as busy as it was, they handled the pressure well and we'll be back soon!

Service was 5 out 5. Food was terrible. Hence why the rating of 3 out 5. The beef cheak Benedict was a horrible combination of chewy leather meat. Congeeled gravy and under poached eggs. Chai Latte was lukewarm as the other reviewer had stated also
Gail Tasker
Super cute little place in Three Kings - staff really friendly and the food is great. We had the Spicy Mince on Toast (beware the Tempura Battered Chilli!)and the Bacon Eggs Bene - the mince was just the right amount of spicy - both came with Brioche Toast which is so yummy. The cakes in the cabinet are out of this world - giant doughnuts, passion fruit slice, mini chocolate cakes.... the only tiny gripe was that the coffee could have been hotter but I’m sure they’ll get it sorted - already planning a return visit
